Hello and welcome to the Transfer News Podcast! I'm Archer, your host, and it's Sunday the eighteenth of January, two thousand and twenty-six. We've got a packed show today with all the latest transfer rumors, completed deals, and some major managerial drama brewing in north London. Let's dive straight in.

Starting with Chelsea, who have made their move for French midfielder Jacquet. The Blues continue their aggressive recruitment strategy under Enzo Maresca, adding another young talent to their ever-expanding squad.

Now here's an interesting one. Oliver Glasner, currently managing Crystal Palace, has reportedly appeared on Manchester United's radar. This comes as Palace fans grow increasingly frustrated with recent results, though Glasner has done excellent work at Selhurst Park overall.

Aston Villa are eyeing a return for Tammy Abraham, the striker who came through their ranks on loan before moving to Roma. Unai Emery clearly values players who understand the club's DNA, and Abraham's Premier League pedigree could be exactly what Villa need for their European campaign.

Atletico Madrid want Wolves midfielder Joao Gomes, according to reports this week. The Brazilian has been one of Vitor Pereira's most consistent performers, so losing him would be a significant blow to Wolves' survival hopes.

Manchester City are preparing an offer for Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi. Pep Guardiola is clearly looking to strengthen his defensive options, and Guehi has proven himself as one of the Premier League's most reliable center-backs.

City are also making a move for Anderson, showing their intent to refresh the squad during this January window. Guardiola's side may be champions, but they're not resting on their laurels.

In a somewhat surprising link, Everton are eyeing Arsenal's Ben White. David Moyes knows the value of Premier League-proven defenders, and White's versatility would make him an excellent addition to Everton's backline if they can pull it off.

Barcelona want Marcus Rashford to stay at Manchester United, interestingly enough. Despite all the speculation linking him away from Old Trafford, it seems Rashford may still have a future under Ruben Amorim after all.

Arsenal are monitoring Newcastle's Tino Livramento, adding another right-back to their list of targets. Mikel Arteta is clearly looking for competition and cover in that position.

The Gunners have also joined the race to sign Marc Guehi from Crystal Palace. This sets up a potential bidding war with Manchester City, which could drive the price up significantly for Palace.

Bournemouth are keen on Arsenal's young talent Ethan Nwaneri. Andoni Iraola has done fantastic work developing young players at the Vitality Stadium, so this could be an excellent loan move for the teenager.

Newcastle face a battle for Wolves striker Jorgen Strand Larsen. Eddie Howe is looking to add firepower to his attack, but competition for the Norwegian's signature is heating up.

As mentioned earlier, Marcus Rashford may have a route back into the Manchester United first team. Ruben Amorim seems willing to give the England international another chance to prove himself.

Real Madrid have joined the race for Crystal Palace midfielder Adam Wharton. The young Englishman has attracted interest from Europe's elite, which speaks volumes about his performances this season.

Chelsea are keeping tabs on Newcastle midfielder Sandro Tonali. The Italian's quality is undeniable, and Chelsea's interest shows they're always looking for elite midfield options.

Rodrygo wants to leave Real Madrid, according to recent reports. If true, this could trigger a scramble among Europe's top clubs for the Brazilian winger's signature.

Liverpool are set to sign Ordonez, bolstering Arne Slot's defensive options. The Reds continue to operate smartly in the transfer market under their new manager.

Nathan Ake has rejected a move to West Ham, choosing to stay and fight for his place at Manchester City. Nuno Espirito Santo's side will have to look elsewhere for defensive reinforcements.

Borussia Dortmund lead the race for Manchester City youngster Oscar Bobb. The German club has an excellent track record of developing young talent, so this could be a smart move for all parties.

Now, some major news from today. Tottenham fans booed manager Thomas Frank during their two-one defeat to West Ham at home. Reports suggest Spurs are weighing up sacking Frank after a disastrous run of results. It's a tough situation in north London, and the pressure is clearly mounting.

Oliver Glasner expressed his anger over the Marc Guehi sale to Manchester City, saying Crystal Palace have been abandoned completely. The Austrian manager is clearly unhappy with losing his best defender mid-season, and you can understand his frustration.

Bournemouth are in advanced talks to sign goalkeeper Christos Mandas from Lazio. Andoni Iraola is looking to add competition between the posts as the Cherries push for a strong finish to the season.

And finally, Nuno Espirito Santo remained coy on Callum Wilson's future amid links to Celtic. The West Ham manager wouldn't be drawn on speculation, but Wilson's experience could be valuable for the Scottish giants.
