Genecia Alluora: Hello Gorges, and welcome to today's episode. And today I want to talk about how much are you really worth and should you charge what you are worth? Now, a lot of entrepreneurs say things like charge what you're worth. I think there are actually some tricky little things behind the sentence and that's why I want to do this at this today and I want to share with you a mantra that has been in my world. I am worth more than money. Now repeat, I am worth more than money. I am worth more than money. Now, this is tricky when you are starting out in business, right?

Genecia Alluora: Because sometimes you're desperate for money and you do anything and everything to target like teenagers, the children, the men, the women, everybody else. As long they pay you the money, you will take it. And when it comes to charging what you're worth, you're like, okay, I'm a little bit confused now and that can be a little bit tricky conversation, isn't it? Because my dear, you are worth a priceless amount. So how do you put an actual charge on it and how do you make sure that you're not doing things in your business that are against your boundaries or ethics, how does it make you feel? Now, the first thing I always ask, how does it make you feel now? Because I have learned to set very clear boundaries, and I will coach people and I will tell them that even if you want a session at night, and I'm saying that, no, I don't want and I don't need your money because I am worth more than money. Sometimes some clients, they want a certain time slot, or they want my time more than what is being so called structured in the package. And if I feel not comfortable doing it, I don't want to do it.

Genecia Alluora: Because honestly, you don't have to do everything that people want you to do. So actually, now, I am really quite a queen in setting boundaries so that I can have my own F word, right? Fabulous freedom, financial independence, and happy family. So I learned how to work in my zone of genius. So you need to learn how to work in your own zone of genius. Now, this word zone of genius was coined by Gray Hendrix in his book The Big Leap. And he talks about doing the work that is just in your zone of genius. Now, a lot of us were good at a lot of things, but we are all Jacob traits, all traits. And we can do a lot, but that doesn't mean that you have to. So you see the difference. So I had people contacting me recently wanting me to do some types of business coaching with them.

Genecia Alluora: Now, I don't do that anymore. I actually focus my business on helping women to release their money blocks and to look into their soul rich woman blueprint and create the effort that they have always wanted to achieve, fabulous freedom, financial independence, and a happy family. I also focus now on helping women to launch their podcast in 48 hours and make it profitable. So I said to those people, hey, I'm really sorry. I don't do that anymore. And they're like, well, I want to give the money. Can you do this, this, this for me? Please let me do it. Well, you know what? I'm worth more than money. My boundaries and my desire to not do that in my business is worth to me more than actual money that they could give me.

Genecia Alluora: Now, there's almost no price that I will accept to do something that I don't want to do because I would be really unhappy and that will go against my F word. So I want you to think about things in your own life and your business. Where do you feel like you're taking on things just for money? It could be things in your business, working with particular clients, offering particular services. And I want you to eliminate some of them that are just not worth the money for you. And actually, no matter how much someone will pay you to do it, you wouldn't do it. I'll give you an example. Recently, I was on a call with a client as well, a potential client, and she has this program that she's been doing for the last three, four years and is for children. And she has a huge database already. And she wanted to hire us for a done for you service to package everything for them.

Genecia Alluora: That means doing exactly what Soul Rich Woman is doing, becoming a network of franchise model. So leveraging on my franchise experience, in my cafe retail chain experience, because we sold 18 franchise around three countries, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, and also being able to bring online, bring them online like Soul Rich Woman via an online network. Right? So the way she presented herself and the way she wanted me to do everything and she was willing to pay X amount of dollars and I just felt it just didn't feel right for me. And I just felt that, no, it's not a good fit and you have a choice. I mean, I could just take the money and boost my cash flow, just a little bit of my cash flow with that particular amount. But I asked myself this question. Even though I'm not really doing the work, it's my team who will be doing the work. But you know what she was telling me? She has no time. She doesn't want to be involved. We have to do the whole thing, the strategic planning, everything. She only wants to record the videos. And to me, that doesn't make sense to me because as a business owner, as a client, strategically, you need to be involved as well. But she says she has no time.

Genecia Alluora: She keep repeating no time, no time, no time. And I can tell you, even though she wants to give me the money, I don't want to take it. So really, if there's someone in your business the moment, a client who is just creating so much drama and stress, and even if you think that no, think about their money that they have presented, no amount of money is worth that. And I want you to eliminate them. So to just finish up, I want you to do this mantra with me. Put your hand onto your heart and take a deep breath and say out loud, I am worth more than money. Let's do this three times. I am worth more than money. Let's do it again. I am worth more than money. One last time. I am worth more than money.

Genecia Alluora: How does it feel for you? Do that for the next couple of days and I would love to hear what comes up for you and around valuing your time and what you are worth. It's got nothing to do with the self worth at this moment in time. It's really what you deserve and about really starting to value yourself more than money. And then the funny thing is the moment you do this, that's when the money really starts to flow in. Because when you give it something to flow to, money absolutely loves the clarity and dislikes clutter.
