The Break Room

Nick, Corey, and Zach take on the impossible: ranking every Star Wars movie AND series on a single tier list, S tier down to F — and yes, a few land in the "?" pile. One casual fan, two certified Star Wars nerds, zero agreement.

Empire makes S without a fight. A New Hope and Rogue One spark a real debate. The sequel trilogy gets... what it deserves. And somehow The Acolyte ends up in a conversation about whether it's worse than Rise of Skywalker.

Movies ranked: The Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones, Revenge of the Sith, A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi, The Force Awakens, The Last Jedi, The Rise of Skywalker, Rogue One, and Solo.

Series ranked: The Acolyte, Andor, Ahsoka, The Bad Batch, The Clone Wars, The Mandalorian, Obi-Wan Kenobi, The Book of Boba Fett, Skeleton Crew, and Rebels.

Plus: the best lightsaber duels, why the prequels hit different as a kid, the "rise of the Sith" trilogy that should have existed, and everyone's favorite Star Wars game to close it out.

Where did we get it wrong? Drop your tier list in the comments.

Nick Loudon (00:00)
Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the break room. I am joined by the craziest guests you've ever seen. You've never seen them on my podcast before, which this is my podcast, in case you guys didn't know. ⁓ Corey's here, Zach is here, and we are gonna be talking about Corey and Zach, their favorite topic, which is Star Wars.

So we're in this episode gonna be ranking every Star Wars movie slash TV series. So I have a tier list we're gonna go through and we're gonna rank them between S tier, which is like God tier best movies all the way down to F tier, which is like awful, hate it, never wanna see it, wish it was never made. And ⁓ what? Yeah, there's a couple. We're probably gonna have a couple in there.

Corey Haines (00:47)
any of those.

Zach Stevens (00:48)
Plenty of this.

There's a barbell on this one.

Nick Loudon (00:56)
And we'll

go from there. So let me share my screen so you guys can see what I'm looking at. And we'll go from there.

Corey Haines (01:03)
We're only doing this

so that next time we can do survivor because this is like a me and Zach thing. So then survival will be like a me and Nick thing.

Nick Loudon (01:07)
Dude, yes.

Zach Stevens (01:11)
What?

No, dude, that's not even close because I have never seen Survivor and Nick has at least seen all of the major Star Wars movies.

Nick Loudon (01:13)
And he'll just watch.

⁓ Yeah, I have seen all the major Star Wars movies, but you I have seen all 49 full seasons of Survivor I can name every single location they shot at and or theme of the season and every winner and every strategy the winners used

Zach Stevens (01:27)
I'm not gonna tell you what I'm...

Okay, well you can tell your therapist about that.

Corey Haines (01:43)
Really? I didn't know you've added strategy to your

repertoire.

Nick Loudon (01:46)
If you name the season, the number between one and 49, I could tell you who the winner is, where they shot, and generally what the strategy they used to win was.

Corey Haines (01:53)
Okay.

Which season did Tyson win and what was his strategy?

Nick Loudon (01:59)
27 Blood vs. I don't really know where it was filmed, the theme was Blood vs. Water, is a team, like families playing together. The strategy he used was really kind of a strong man alliance, which is kind of surprising. He grouped

Zach Stevens (02:08)
you

When you guys are

done, let me know. I'm going to be designing stuff while you're talking, Survivor. Just let me know when we begin the real podcast.

Nick Loudon (02:21)
Okay, cool. He grouped.

If I had to pick a specific strategy that Tyson used, would say he used, he grouped all of the solo players. So everyone was playing with their loved ones. And everyone who had a voted out loved one, he was like, hey, work with me. Let's get out all the people that have loved ones still. He kind of got the scraps together and they carried him to the end. And then he just dominated final tribal.

Corey Haines (02:27)
We've commandeered this podcast.

⁓ right.

It's kind of like Palpatine, honestly, if you think about it.

Nick Loudon (02:58)
Speaking of Palpatine, great transition Corey. Okay, okay, here's the tiers. We have S tier, A tier, B, C, D, F, all the way to question mark. And here's all of the actual films. They go in ⁓ Canon order at the beginning, all films. And then it's just a hodgepodge of the actual shows. So we're gonna start with the films and then we'll hit shows. Sounds good?

Corey Haines (03:01)
There's your segue.

Zach Stevens (03:02)
Are

we back in now?

Yep.

Corey Haines (03:26)
OK, yeah.

Nick Loudon (03:27)
Episode 1, Phantom Menace. Go.

Zach Stevens (03:33)
I'd say that's a C. C or V.

Nick Loudon (03:34)
Whoa, ow.

Corey Haines (03:38)
Yeah, yeah, I'd have to give it a C.

Nick Loudon (03:40)
Pretty high.

Zach Stevens (03:42)
C or B. Yeah, it's not it's definitely not it's not an A. No, dude. No, no, no, no, no, no.

Nick Loudon (03:44)
was gonna say A.

Okay,

just because you watched, guys are bigger Star Wars nerds doesn't mean my opinion's invalid.

Corey Haines (03:55)
It's tough with Anakin as a kid, know, when you have a main character be a child who's a little bit... Yeah, yeah. And then you get really goofy characters like Jar Jar and yeah, but then C, but then you get Darth Maul in there and you're like, ooh, maybe it's a B.

Zach Stevens (04:01)
Yeah, I'm a person. name is Anakin.

Jar Jar, Wado.

Nick Loudon (04:15)
Okay, how about this? How about we put it in B with the forethought that it will probably be at the bottom of B.

Corey Haines (04:23)
You think it's an A or you think it's a B?

Nick Loudon (04:26)
I cannot get over the amount of excitement and joy I had as a child watching the lightsaber, no, the lightsaber, the final duel.

Corey Haines (04:31)
podracers.

Zach Stevens (04:33)
Okay, maybe.

Yeah, that is the, that's the saving grace because it's literally the, it's one of the best lightsaber fights of the entire saga, like all over. I don't know if it's that bad.

Nick Loudon (04:41)
Yeah, it is so good. It's not the best, but it is, it

Corey Haines (04:44)
Probably the best. no, no, no, no, no, you're right. You're right.

Nick Loudon (04:49)
is, it is in the top three at least. Let's put it in B.

Zach Stevens (04:52)
Yeah, it's really good. that.

Corey Haines (04:56)
I really need to see.

Zach Stevens (04:58)
I think it's a C, because it's just like... Okay, we... Look, we can change it later. You know, I'm not gonna... D.

Nick Loudon (05:00)
F you guys. Okay. We can. We are in charge. Clone Wars. Episode 2. D.

Corey Haines (05:01)
C plus.

Nick Loudon (05:14)
This whole podcast is going to be Zach ranking everything low and then just putting the Empire Strikes back at the top.

Corey Haines (05:14)
Yeah.

Hahaha

Zach Stevens (05:20)
Well, the Empire

Strikes, we all know the Empire Strikes back is going to be an S tier one.

Corey Haines (05:25)
The

Nick Loudon (05:25)
Ah, but I'll go.

Corey Haines (05:27)
the thing about Clone Wars is that it's so forgettable and it had like bad CGI. It was pretty slow. It feels kind of nerfed and like it's called the Clone Wars, like there's no war. There's nothing exciting that really happens. Everything exciting happens in the TV series Clone Wars. ⁓ I think it's, yeah.

Zach Stevens (05:41)
There's no war in it really.

Right. There's some really cool,

there's some really cool stuff. There's some cool stuff in Clone Wars. Like you get, you, it's the first time you see Yoda wielding a lightsaber, which is freaking sick against Count Dooku. Especially as a kid. Yeah. Like I remember being in the theater watching it, like opening day and the crowd erupting when Yoda came in to fight Count Dooku. Like it was super sick.

Nick Loudon (05:52)
I feel like there's a lot of good stuff in Clone Wars.

Especially as a kid, you're like,

Corey Haines (06:05)
Yeah.

Nick Loudon (06:13)
I'm much higher on Clone Wars than you guys. Not for the love story, ⁓ but for like the origin part of the clones. Like realizing that the clones were essentially stormtroopers and like all that stuff.

Zach Stevens (06:27)
Okay, well if you're gonna rank this as like a B, just wanna know like, what's your take on sand? Like, do you like sand? it? But, you know, I think it's rough, it's coarse, it's everywhere. Here, everything is. If I could just reach out and touch Cory's face, and I'd tell you, everything is soft and smooth here.

Nick Loudon (06:34)
It's rough. Okay. Let's put it in D for now.

I let's put it in D for now but I reserve the right to move it to the bottom of C if it makes sense. These are out of order. OK. Episode three of Revenge of the Sith.

Zach Stevens (06:59)
It's above phantom menace.

Nick Loudon (07:01)
Definitely.

Corey Haines (07:02)
Dude, for me, it's an,

Nick Loudon (07:03)
It has the greatest lightsaber battle.

Corey Haines (07:06)
yeah, unquestionably. episode three for me has always been like a top movie for me. I think it's A tier.

Zach Stevens (07:06)
No... No... Okay.

Really?

Nick Loudon (07:16)
Not us.

Corey Haines (07:16)
I love episode three so much.

Nick Loudon (07:19)
Corey, how many pieces of media in this whole list will end up in SDR? Is it like one or like three?

Zach Stevens (07:19)
It's not fair.

Corey Haines (07:25)
Very few.

No, like one or two for me that are like S tier. Yeah, no.

Zach Stevens (07:27)
three.

Nick Loudon (07:31)
huh. Okay, so

that means that this one is not one of those one or two.

Zach Stevens (07:36)
No.

Corey Haines (07:36)
No, but I still love the crap out of it. General Grievous, dude, you get the lightsaber fight, you get Anakin turning, amazing CGI, great acting.

Zach Stevens (07:40)
It's really good.

Okay, well like, like, Gen...

Grievous? Okay, that's not fair. I feel like your... your perception is tainted. Because you've seen Grievous, like, in the Clone Wars, but that's retroactive. You know what mean? Like... Really?

Corey Haines (07:59)
No, I loved it way before I watched Clone Wars.

Way before.

Zach Stevens (08:03)
Cause I feel like

his character is really like hard to understand unless you've watched that. Cause there was, he was in the animated 2D Clone Wars ones, like Mace Windu crushes his, you know, his, his lung cavity. ⁓ Yeah. So I don't, I don't know. I feel like there's a lot, there's a lot about Revenge of the Sith that is like really like, there's some bad, bad dialogue within it. It's like.

Corey Haines (08:17)
Canon one.

Zach Stevens (08:31)
really bad.

Corey Haines (08:31)
Sure, but there's a lot

of bad dialogue in Star Wars in general. It's sort of like to be expected.

Zach Stevens (08:38)
Well, in

Nick Loudon (08:38)
you

Zach Stevens (08:39)
the

prequels, the worst. Okay, if you get, both of you say A.

Corey Haines (08:46)
It's an A for me, yeah.

Zach Stevens (08:46)
Do you say A

neck?

Nick Loudon (08:47)

If this was purely my list, would be at the bottom of S, but I will take A.

Zach Stevens (08:54)
Because I would put it at B, Cory puts it at A, Nick puts it at S, and then it's at A. Yeah.

Nick Loudon (08:56)
A it is.

Corey Haines (08:58)
Okay, that's

a day. Like 10 year old me seeing it in the theaters blew my mind. Absolutely like it was hard to go back to real life for weeks after watching that movie.

Nick Loudon (09:02)
was mind blowing.

Zach Stevens (09:09)
Nick, why are you getting

Nick Loudon (09:09)
yeah.

Zach Stevens (09:11)
ads for Airy bras?

Nick Loudon (09:13)
Because my my pecs are enlarging each day ⁓ And I need a bra, I don't know ⁓ Double B Is that a size? ⁓ Dude why am I getting ads at all? I feel like I didn't used to get ads. I maybe I turn my Ad block off. I don't know. Okay, and this

Corey Haines (09:19)
working out too hard.

Zach Stevens (09:20)
We're done. Nick's definitely a double B.

Corey Haines (09:28)
Double B.

Zach Stevens (09:31)
you would know you're really getting the ads for bras.

It's because your screen's a lot bigger.

Nick Loudon (09:42)
A new hope, I feel like, is our biggest question mark. It could be all across the board.

Corey Haines (09:47)
Wait, this is Canon

order? This is chronological.

Zach Stevens (09:49)
This is

episode four, A New Hope. it didn't put, okay, so Rogue One should technically be before this.

Corey Haines (09:53)
I see.

A new hope

shoots.

All okay. I'll just all of the old ones to me are the original trilogy are a like they're all incredible. Personally, I'm not as in love with them as like

S tier, because I think each of them has sort of like flaws that make them not S tier that aren't just time related or production value related. ⁓ So for me, it's an A. Like I think that.

Nick Loudon (10:30)
Do you realize

that you're hurting every other Star Wars fan on earth by saying what you're saying? That they hate you?

Corey Haines (10:36)
Yes, yeah, and

most Star Wars fans are completely delusional, so that's okay. But I mean, this is the movie that kicked everything off. Like, it's iconic. For that reason alone, it might be S-tier.

Zach Stevens (10:41)
That's true. That's super true. It is. It's so, I would put it above

Revenge of the Sith.

Nick Loudon (10:53)
I'm tempted to put an S tier. I think it's on a rewatch. It's kind of hard to watch, with the context of what Star Wars has become, it makes it like just so much better that so much awesomeness has spawned from this one film. Let's put it in an S. It's so good.

Zach Stevens (11:04)
What's?

from that one story. Yeah. It's.

Corey Haines (11:10)
and

just where it drops you in on the storyline.

Zach Stevens (11:13)
I don't know if I would put it in, cause like that's, that's an honorable, that's a really big honor there. And if we're going to, I don't want to throw all of them in S tier, know, like, yeah, I would put it.

Nick Loudon (11:20)

We're not going to do that. We're not going to do that. I promise you, we won't do that. Let's put it in S.

Corey Haines (11:23)
Yeah.

Nick Loudon (11:28)
We can move it.

Zach Stevens (11:29)
Okay, we're gonna get it, like the hard part is gonna be when we have the ones in S that then have to get ranked, like above one another.

Corey Haines (11:38)
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Yeah.

Zach Stevens (11:41)
Okay.

Nick Loudon (11:41)
Empire, can all say that it is better than a new hope.

Zach Stevens (11:46)
Yes.

Nick Loudon (11:47)
It's like a new hope times two with more money behind it.

Zach Stevens (11:51)
It's the best Star Wars,

it's the best single Star Wars movie.

Corey Haines (11:55)
okay. Like, yeah, to me that's a true S tier.

Nick Loudon (11:55)
Unless you're taking into account

Last Jedi. Which is by far the greatest movie ever created. ⁓

Zach Stevens (12:05)
You, I

thought, so wait, does this go, okay, so you're thinking, like the close root is to the letter, that's the high, that's the high point, okay. Okay.

Nick Loudon (12:11)
Uh-huh, is better. Yep. Yeah,

descending is like closer to the next tier down.

Corey Haines (12:18)
Yeah, to me, episode five is like the only pure S tier Star Wars movie, in my opinion.

Zach Stevens (12:19)
Okay.

Rogue One might be up there, man. It's close. Like that is a...

Corey Haines (12:28)
It's close, but

I wouldn't say that it's S tier because you have to be a Star Wars fan to think that it's S tier. Otherwise it's just an A tier movie.

Yeah, I I don't know, even then, like, if we're talking S-tier movies, know, Rogue One is not like an S-tier movie. It is if you're a Star Wars fan, but...

Zach Stevens (12:50)
Okay, okay,

I would agree with that sentiment that it's only good if you're a source, but we'll keep going.

Nick Loudon (12:53)
Let's.

let's keep going revenge of the return of the jet

Zach Stevens (13:00)
Revenge of the Jedi. Funny thing about that. show The Goldbergs. No, you don't know the show The Goldbergs? Nevermind then, not gonna land. Fine, throwing it up.

Nick Loudon (13:02)
it was a possible to to the better i don't know but we all know

Okay.

Corey Haines (13:15)
Nope,

no idea.

Nick Loudon (13:16)
Return of the Jedi.

Zach Stevens (13:18)
A tier.

Nick Loudon (13:19)
As a kid, it was like, I liked it more than Empire. As a kid.

Zach Stevens (13:25)
I did too, and then I became an adult. And you realize Empire Strikes Back. You know why though, it's it's got freaking Ewoks in it.

Corey Haines (13:37)
Mm-hmm.

Nick Loudon (13:37)
I don't know what it was. think it was the last battle slash like as a kid Empire didn't hit the same way because I knew that Darth Vader was Luke's father going in because of Luke. am your father. I already knew. So it didn't like have the same weight, but okay. What? Okay. Dude, I'm going to

Corey Haines (13:53)
Hmm like

Zach Stevens (13:57)
That's never said. That quote's never said in the entire movie.

Nick Loudon (14:05)
Let's just cancel this. This guy's gonna make me lose my mind. ⁓ end of Return of the Jedi was more exciting for me. I honestly, I wanna take this whole tier list with childlike wonder and my excitement for watching it for the first time and experiencing it for the first time. And I had more, I had a higher level of excitement and enjoyment with Return of the Jedi.

Zach Stevens (14:09)
you

Hmm.

Is that fair though? Because you can't like, I don't know about you, but I don't have any memory of not knowing that Darth Vader is Luke's father.

Nick Loudon (14:46)
I don't know. I don't know when my memory began.

Corey Haines (14:48)
I don't know. Yeah.

Zach Stevens (14:50)
Like, don't remember exactly.

It's like you don't remember a time before. It was just like, yeah, Darth Vader is Luke's father. So we can't fully comprehend what it was like to watch Empire Strikes Back for the first time, like being in the theater and be like, holy shit. Seriously? Like, that's who Luke's father is?

Nick Loudon (15:08)
That's why I

want Revenge of the Sith is so good, dude. That's why. That's why Revenge of the Sith is like better to me almost.

Corey Haines (15:15)
Well, this,

this is the problem with every movie trilogy with the third movie and the trilogy, the last one, because most of the major details and twists have already been revealed. And now we're just like concluding everything, which is actually not that exciting to watch because we are like watching a play out, but now we sort of like, no one expects how it's going to play out. And so

Zach Stevens (15:41)
Yeah.

Corey Haines (15:41)
I feel

the same way about six, like obviously it's still an A tier movie, but with the Ewoks and with like, it's just a very straightforward storyline.

Zach Stevens (15:49)
Yeah,

it's A tier.

Nick Loudon (15:50)
Is

it better than ⁓ Revenge of the Sith?

Zach Stevens (15:53)
Vengeance

the Sith? Really? I think they could tie, but you guys both say below. there's also no tie. I would put.

Corey Haines (15:55)
No, not in my mind.

Nick Loudon (15:58)
I would put it below.

Force Awakens,

let's keep going.

Corey Haines (16:08)
But can I just one more thing on that? Like a lot of my opinions too about the story is like episodes three and four are like, there can't be any other, I'm There can't be any other better stories because those are the most story rich movies like to the whole plot. I think that episode five is the best movie is like S tier, but three and four have so much weight as far as like what happens and.

Like of course they're gonna be really high to me. So it's hard to put six over three when I'm like, well, okay. Three is also so ⁓ important and significant to everything that happens for the rest of the movies.

Nick Loudon (16:49)
Yeah, they're like the connective, like at the end of three, they had to bring us into four. So on that same wavelength at the end of six, they had to bring us into seven. Tell us about seven.

Zach Stevens (17:02)
No, they didn't. No,

Corey Haines (17:03)
And how did they do?

Zach Stevens (17:03)
here's the thing. They did not have to do it. They didn't have to do it, but they did.

Nick Loudon (17:06)
They did, but they did.

Corey Haines (17:09)
They didn't have

to try because did they actually achieve that? I don't think so.

Nick Loudon (17:13)
Okay,

let's recap. Rey, Rey's a Skywalker, question mark. We don't know who she is. And then you have two other randos in Poe and Finn. And then you have the old faithful. have ⁓ Han and Chewie, who showed up for no reason. And then you have Kylo Ren, who is Han's son.

Zach Stevens (17:19)
No. She's from nowhere. She's from Jakku.

to find a Millennium Falcon.

Corey Haines (17:38)
Yeah, Kylo.

Nick Loudon (17:41)
for some reason. Didn't have to be Han-san, he just is. ⁓

Zach Stevens (17:46)
It's just like,

how does the first order, how does this happen? Like, why are we, why do we still have a Rebel Alliance? Like, what the hell happened? This was already solved.

Nick Loudon (17:51)
I don't know.

It's the rebellion.

There had to be another organization of bad guy versus good guy that wasn't basically a one for one rip of a new hope. There had to be another version of this.

Zach Stevens (18:12)
It

would have been inverted. It would have been like in the Phantom Menace where the good guys are in charge and then there's this evil faction of bad guys that are really deviant and smart and capable. then it was reversed. was like the first order is this giant conglomerate of hateful empire fiends.

Corey Haines (18:23)
That's rising.

Nick Loudon (18:36)
Wow.

Corey Haines (18:37)
Yeah.

Nick Loudon (18:38)
Maybe that's where all the gap came from. Go ahead.

Corey Haines (18:39)
That's how it always, that's how it always should have been was ever since we've known Star Wars. Okay. That's not true because, but the pendulum swings, right? So, ⁓ we're first introduced to Star Wars where the bad guys are in control with four or five and six, but then we go backwards and we see one, two, and three that the good guys were once in control. It only makes sense for after six to go back to good guys are in control.

And now we have this underground grassroots swell of bad guys who are meaner and badder in different and unique ways than before that makes it interesting. But instead we go back to basically the bad guys are in control again somehow. And it's the same bad guys. And, but also they're not really as bad because Kylo is like maybe good.

Zach Stevens (19:24)
Yeah, I guess it's stupid.

Yeah. There's just a bunch of, there's a bunch of people who are like, where did you come from? Like Snoke, who are you and why are you like, shouldn't you be dead? Like there's no, no reason for you to exist. You just pop up out of fricking nowhere. Like, yeah.

Nick Loudon (19:47)
it there.

Their biggest problem is all

of this plot built, all this world building. Like, the greater Star Wars world is built. We all get it. There's lightsabers. There's star fighters. There's the Force. There's the Jedi Order. There's the Sith. We get it. They built the, they built off that foundation and then, like, didn't show us that and then started at a different point, which is

Zach Stevens (20:11)
Yeah.

Nick Loudon (20:21)
Hey, the good guys had finally like taken it back. And then it's like all this like missed context. And then like the bad guys are going to get in top on top again.

Zach Stevens (20:27)
This, this right here.

This is where Hollywood became controlled by the marketers and the financiers and where everything, where everything got F'd. They're like, this is a money grab opportunity. We just spent a billion dollars acquiring all this IP. Now we got to make two off of it.

Nick Loudon (20:38)
Marketers are evil.

Corey Haines (20:38)
marketers.

Nick Loudon (20:47)
Okay. We could talk about

the new trilogy for probably like three hours. So let's not do that. ⁓ F. ⁓ No, here's my hot take. Here's my hot take before we continue. Let's say that your suggestion was taken and good guys are in charge at the start of Force Awakens and bad guys are grassroots underground secret.

Zach Stevens (20:55)
Yeah. So let's just put it all where it belongs in F.

Corey Haines (21:00)
I mean, legitimately.

Nick Loudon (21:17)
Alliance. Is there an awesome world where there's a trilogy of like, almost like thriller horror Sith upcoming to take over? How swag would that be if it was just a little bit darker? And like, the Sith are this like secret super secret underground assassin type group that just takes over that would be so sick.

Zach Stevens (21:25)
S tier.

Corey Haines (21:29)
Yes.

Zach Stevens (21:30)
orally.

Yep.

Or it might not have even needed to be Sith. It could have just been like people who wanted power inside of the Star Wars universe. There was a million different things that could have been super cool about that trilogy. none of them were forgiven the stage that they deserved. Yes.

Nick Loudon (21:58)
but

Is this F tier?

Corey Haines (22:04)
Hear, hear me out. Hear me out.

I, I think that of the three force awakens number seven is, is the least bad. think it's actually probably a D objectively. The other two are obviously Fs for very obvious reasons. My biggest critique actually of seven, huh?

Nick Loudon (22:09)
This is the best.

Zach Stevens (22:09)
OK,

yes, this is the best.

We might even put eyes of skywalkers.

I was gonna say we might have to put Rise of Skywalker in the question mark because it doesn't, I'm not sure it belongs.

Nick Loudon (22:30)
in the whole- like

Corey Haines (22:30)
So just, it doesn't even deserve a ranking.

Nick Loudon (22:31)
it's not a movie

Zach Stevens (22:34)
Okay, I'm sorry Cory, you were saying the fourth work-ins.

Corey Haines (22:36)
⁓ I

Do I like do I like where number seven started in the story? No, but given that that was where we were thrown into the story With the people and the direction it was going. I wasn't mad about it at the time I was like, okay, I can work with this my biggest critique was really with ⁓ With Ray, I like raise a character they just

After that because they followed the same trope as they do with every female superhero lead where they made her like basically invincible and Naturally good at everything with no flaws Which makes her not interesting? And that only gets worse as time goes on but like we didn't know the full extent of that in episode 7 so it wasn't like that that bad ⁓ So like I could have dealt with it, you know like

I think it could have gone from like a D to a C to a B movie trilogy, but instead we went from a D to an F to a question mark.

Zach Stevens (23:42)
Yeah, the one thing that I think these movies did better as far as lightsaber fights and all that stuff is that they had, this wasn't done in any of the other trilogies, but they had someone like.

some kind of light emission source while they were holding their lightsabers so that when they were swinging them around during the filming of them, you've actually had real light coming around their face and making it look even more legit. So even Revenge of the Sith, which is a super cool lightsaber sequence, doesn't have that. If the other ones had that, they'd be even better. That's the one thing that I can call out that is a true good piece of, ⁓ or a good addition to the Star

universe which is they had actual light emitting from their lightsabers.

Nick Loudon (24:36)
At the time

of watching, Force Awakens was very enjoyable. And I kind of agree with you, Corey. I think that the raw character materials, I was very in on. I remember watching Star Wars theory videos because of that episode being like, who is Rey? What could she be? Where could they take the story? And being sorely disappointed as it continued on. But that being said.

Corey Haines (24:57)
Yeah, isn't that cool?

Nick Loudon (25:04)
The raw materials are actually so good that it's really disappointing how bad they F'd it.

Zach Stevens (25:10)
It was, it was kind of

like everybody was just dehydrated from Star Wars. So it's like this, I'm not sure if this is piss and vinegar or, you know, like a 1940 Cabernet Sauvignon, but I'm going to drink it because I'm just Star Wars thirsty.

Nick Loudon (25:17)
Yeah.

Yeah. Yeah. Okay. Let's keep going. Last Jedi. How do I put this at the bottom before there's anything else in F here? I think we all look at the rise of Skywalker is if anything, point zero zero one point above it. It's barely better than this movie. This was there like they're they're one A or they're ninety nine A and ninety nine B. Like they're so bad. Both of them.

Corey Haines (25:30)
Yeah. Okay. Episode eight.

Zach Stevens (25:34)
F tier.

I don't know, man.

They're both really

bad. Okay.

Corey Haines (26:01)
Snoke, the whole Obi-Wan, or sorry, what's his face? Luke invisible thing. ⁓ There are so many problems. Finn, Finn and Rose or whatever her name is.

Zach Stevens (26:04)
Yeah.

Nick Loudon (26:10)
the

Carrie Fisher, Leia being dead and not dead and she's live and she's a mirage.

Zach Stevens (26:16)
Yeah. I would be so bad. And not dead.

Corey Haines (26:20)
yeah. And then going out into

Zach Stevens (26:22)
So

there was, I mean I was, I was interested in like they had this whole kind of like gray Jedi theory going with episode eight, which I thought was gonna be kind of cool, where they were gonna kind of like deconstruct the force and be like, it's supposed to be about balance. That could have been really cool, but there's so much other garbage around like the Leia flying through space, surviving an explosion. ⁓

Corey Haines (26:23)
space.

Zach Stevens (26:50)
Admiral Holdo and all the other crap. The entire like, was there, is Last Jedi the one that has Benicio Del Toro in it? I don't even remember. Yes. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And they set that herd of animals free that are just gonna be rounded up and killed after.

Nick Loudon (27:03)
Yes, it is. Yeah, they go to that weird like rich planet. That's Lester Day.

You

Corey Haines (27:13)
Yeah.

Nick Loudon (27:17)
I forgot about that.

Zach Stevens (27:18)
And the kid, oh and the kid with the broom

who's like, oh, I can use the force too. It's like, what are we, what is happening here? Is the force the sacred art that has to be passed on or is it just innate, like against, with everybody who decides they want to have the force?

Corey Haines (27:34)
think the, my biggest critique actually of, of this one, I don't know the names of them, any of them, to be honest. Episode eight is, ⁓ like Kylo Ren was, I think a cool, interesting character in episode seven. He still like mysterious and he's obviously got some anger issues, but you know, he does have this kind of gray potential good, like who is he? You know, similar, a good counterbalance to Ray, right? And that same aspect, but then in episode eight,

He just turns into this tantruming toddler. Yeah. And, he's not scary. He's just having a tantrum. and like a Sith is supposed to be like scary because of how devious and mysterious and controlled their anger is not a, a toddler who's just like going on the whim of his, you know, revenge. so they ruined him.

Zach Stevens (28:06)
Bitch boy.

Nick Loudon (28:11)
you

the

Corey Haines (28:33)
in that episode for me.

Zach Stevens (28:34)
Yeah.

Nick Loudon (28:35)
The Kylo Ren 180 is probably some of the worst filmmaking decision on, like, if you take the last 30 minutes of episode eight and then like the first 90 minutes of episode nine and you just are like purely focused on Kylo Ren and his like character, I feel like you would just be completely annoyed. You're like, what the?

Zach Stevens (28:59)
He's he skits out.

Nick Loudon (29:02)
what just happened? why is he good now? it makes no sense at all that's ultimate bad thing to do! ultimate bad thing! that is the worst thing!

Corey Haines (29:04)
Yeah, yeah.

Zach Stevens (29:09)
at all.

Corey Haines (29:10)
especially after he kills his dad. And then you're like, wait, so does he regret that now?

Zach Stevens (29:13)
Great.

I don't

know. no, no, no. Killing his mom is actually the worst thing. I'd say if you're gonna like... Yeah, he did.

Nick Loudon (29:23)
Well, Anakin killed younglings. Which we breezed over.

Corey Haines (29:30)
but it was pretty awesome. It shows how bad he is.

Nick Loudon (29:31)
It was awesome.

Zach Stevens (29:33)
I heard that he killed younglings. I said that you killed younglings!

Nick Loudon (29:38)
I don't know. Okay. So we can

agree last year that is an F ⁓ is rise of Skywalker.

Zach Stevens (29:44)
Question mark, question mark.

don't know what to make of it. It's just like this crazy, weird thing. Is it really a movie? You know?

Nick Loudon (29:51)
Have you guys rewatched it?

Corey Haines (29:52)
All we have to say is

somehow Palpatine returned. That's all there is to say about this movie.

Zach Stevens (29:58)
Bam.

Nick Loudon (29:58)
I do want

Zach Stevens (30:00)
Also.

Nick Loudon (30:00)
to know if you guys have rewatched the new trilogy. You've only seen each at one once.

Zach Stevens (30:03)
No, not once. saw it.

No, that's not true. I watched Force Awakens probably four or five more times after, because I went and bought it on DVD, but then I was like, this isn't that good. And then I decided, because I was completing my Star Wars collection, I was like, why did I buy this? It was a bad choice. And then Last Jedi and Rise of Skywalker, I only saw in theaters and have never watched again.

Nick Loudon (30:31)
Can I just I'm not plugging this but a rewatch of Rise of Skywalker is absolutely like debilitating awful like it makes it so much worse. You realize like the breakneck pace of how they try to wrap it up and it dude it makes it so much worse. I highly recommend not rewatching the ninth movie. It will just make you so much more sad about the whole trilogy like you'll be

Zach Stevens (30:41)
you

you

Nick Loudon (31:01)
really disappointed. Okay, let's keep going. The acolyte.

Zach Stevens (31:06)
based on just even the footage that I've seen, F tier, that one might actually be in the question mark because I don't know what happened.

Nick Loudon (31:12)
I haven't seen it.

Corey Haines (31:14)
Dude,

I, this one makes me so sad because I have a, an acquaintance who like I used to nerd out about star wars with when I would see him, we play pickleball together. And then we didn't see each other for a couple of months and the acolyte had come out and I was watching it. And then I finished the season and then I saw him and he was like, dude, did you watch the acolyte? And I was like, yeah. And he was like,

wasn't it awesome? thought it was like the best Star Wars I've ever seen. And that's when I realized that we couldn't be friends anymore because legitimately I don't know how, but somehow it's worse than episode nine.

Zach Stevens (31:48)
Hahaha!

That's like the She-Hulk of the Star Wars universe, Okay.

Corey Haines (31:59)
It is, it's exactly that. It's

so atrociously bad.

Zach Stevens (32:04)
and trying to be really cool and hit like a hip version of Star Wars or like more philosophical.

Corey Haines (32:10)
No, but like, here's the way I described it was Nick, did

you watch it? Okay. No. Yeah. Like it's got the production value of princess bride and the story of like a super woke Netflix lesbian love story. And then somehow it's star Wars that breaks every rule of star Wars.

Nick Loudon (32:14)
I didn't watch it because you said it was so bad.

Interesting.

Zach Stevens (32:26)
you

Corey Haines (32:37)
it's, it is a question mark.

Nick Loudon (32:37)
There was so much hate

that I was like, I don't care how many lightsabers, I can't watch.

Zach Stevens (32:41)
Is this

the one where everybody survives lightsaber wounds? Isn't that a trope of this one? Where it's like, you gettin' stabbed, you gettin' stabbed, and you gettin' stabbed, and you gettin' stabbed. It's like, man, I got a djinn got stabbed by a lightsaber and it melted his insides. He's dead.

Corey Haines (32:50)
is it?

maybe.

Yeah,

I can't remember because I've tried to just watch it from my memory, but that could be a legitimate criticism.

Nick Loudon (33:00)
See?

Let's say it's terrible. ⁓ Only Corey Seen It will ride on his ranking and or. I watched the first episode and then I had a child and I did not continue because I was focused on other things. But the first episode seemed pretty good. So I'll rely on you guys.

Zach Stevens (33:13)
18.

I haven't seen all of it, from what I did see, it's A tier. It's espionage, but for Star Wars, which is super cool and done well.

Corey Haines (33:35)
Yeah, it's very good. It's definitely a tier one of like, this is again, one of those like if, even if you're not a fan of star Wars, you can watch it and be like, this is a fantastic series. And the fact that at star Wars, especially with how it plays into episodes. Well, yeah, I guess like three and four, right? ⁓ yeah, you're like, this is, this is cool. Yeah.

Zach Stevens (33:54)
It'd be four and five. Or three and four, yeah.

Nick Loudon (33:57)
Is that what it sits between?

Zach Stevens (33:59)
This is Andor is between episodes three and the movie Rogue One.

Corey Haines (34:04)
Yeah, it's a prequel to Rogue One.

Zach Stevens (34:08)
Well, it's also good, mean, Diego Luna is fantastic. He's super good. He's one of the cases where the actor makes the show.

Corey Haines (34:17)
in Andy circus.

Nick Loudon (34:20)
Andy Serkis is in there?

Zach Stevens (34:20)
Andy Serkis.

Corey Haines (34:21)
Yeah,

and he's awesome.

Nick Loudon (34:23)
I love Andy Serkis because I love Lord of the Rings.

Zach Stevens (34:25)
There was

who, Stellan Skarsgard is also in this one too. Bootstrap Bill.

Corey Haines (34:33)
yeah.

Yeah. Yeah. and he's also fantastic. I forgot.

Nick Loudon (34:35)
bootstraps bootstraps

Zach Stevens (34:37)
Bootstraps, bootstraps.

Nick Loudon (34:38)
okay what is this what is this Ashoka okay I have not watched this obviously has anyone

Corey Haines (34:41)
Asoka.

Zach Stevens (34:42)
It's so good.

Corey Haines (34:47)
I have.

Zach Stevens (34:47)
I watched like one or two episodes.

Nick Loudon (34:49)
Okay, go ahead you guys.

Corey Haines (34:51)
Yeah, I wanted to love it so bad.

Zach Stevens (34:55)
I know the character Ahsoka and the one that they portrayed in this series was not her.

Corey Haines (35:03)
Hmm, why do you say that?

Zach Stevens (35:05)
because she's so stoic and boring and not fun and quippy the way that Ahsoka is in the Clone Wars.

Corey Haines (35:13)
Yeah, she's also an older battle scarred version, but.

Zach Stevens (35:18)
Yeah,

that's true.

Nick Loudon (35:19)
Rank it,

each of you.

Zach Stevens (35:22)
I couldn't give it a, like, from what I've heard other people say about the bastardization of that character, I've also heard that there's just nothing really very exciting about it apart from the time elements with Anakin Skywalker making a return. it's like, there's some cool fan service in it, but I can't.

Corey Haines (35:39)
Mandalorian.

Obi-Wan, yeah.

Zach Stevens (35:48)
guess it's like a, it's okay. It's probably a right up there with like, yeah, or probably like with Clone Wars.

Corey Haines (35:50)
It's a C.

It's pretty mediocre. Like it has no rewatchability. It is what it is.

Nick Loudon (36:01)
I feel like I could

rewatch Clone Wars. So I'm going to put it below Clone Wars. The Bad Batch. Has anyone watched it? Raise your hand if you watched it.

Zach Stevens (36:06)
Works for me.

Corey Haines (36:11)
I have.

Zach Stevens (36:12)
Cory watched it, I did not watch it.

Nick Loudon (36:13)
Cory's... I hate to say it Zach, but Cory watches everything.

Corey Haines (36:18)
I do, yeah.

Zach Stevens (36:19)
Now,

Corey Haines (36:20)
I can bear it when it's not good.

Zach Stevens (36:20)
doesn't have children.

Nick Loudon (36:25)
Okay, Corey, you gotta rank it. Tell me about it.

Corey Haines (36:26)
I have plenty of time dude bad batch was awesome like I Would it's hard to put eight here. It's for sure like a b-plus. It's Really fun. It's it's almost better than Clone Wars very good like philosophical questions ⁓ Good acting very like good

Nick Loudon (36:30)

Corey Haines (36:52)
plot depth, like you get a lot of rich information about, you know, more of what was going on during the kind of fallout of everything. I thought it was fantastic.

Nick Loudon (37:01)
Cool, we'll have to take your word for it. We'll put it in B. Clone Wars, which is widely regarded to be a fantastic piece of media. I have not watched a single second of it.

Zach Stevens (37:02)
Good assessment. I'm in it.

8.

So I have only watched season one and then a friend made me watch the last couple episodes of the last season with the Battle of Manor. I was like, ⁓ well, cause I know like, you know, it's not like a mystery to me. Like what happens throughout the Clone Wars.

Corey Haines (37:20)
D'oh.

No, I

know you've said that before, but you have no idea. You.

Zach Stevens (37:33)
I'm sure there's more,

but like...

Corey Haines (37:36)
You've only watched the least important parts and like the least interesting parts of the show.

Nick Loudon (37:36)
Too late.

Zach Stevens (37:41)
What I did see was A tier. It's really good. It starts out as a kids show, but then it gradually morphs into like probably one of the most rich pieces of Star Wars media.

Corey Haines (37:53)
The first season is a tough watch because it's so childish and inconsequential. Season two through what is it like season five, six, seven, I forget how many seasons there are, but ⁓ I mean, there are so much good, interesting stuff that happens in there. And it's only like the second half of the last season that ties into episode three. And by that point, you sort of already know

Zach Stevens (38:03)
I think it's

Nick Loudon (38:08)
I'll look it up.

Corey Haines (38:23)
where it's going and it's fairly predictable but it's still interesting. But like man season two to up to that point is like my favorite Star Wars. There's so much awesome stuff that happens in there.

Nick Loudon (38:39)
There are seven seasons.

Corey Haines (38:40)
with the Jedis

and the actual Clone Wars were awesome.

Nick Loudon (38:44)
Okay. I feel like we have to weigh this like 60 % Corey's vote, 40 % Zach's vote. So you both said A. Cool. Let's put an A. Is it better than Andor?

Corey Haines (38:52)
I think it's A, personally, so, yeah.

Zach Stevens (38:53)
I would say, hey, we both said hey. Would I put it,

Corey Haines (38:57)
You both need to watch

it.

Zach Stevens (38:59)
is it above and or yes?

Nick Loudon (39:02)
Is it above Return of the Jedi?

Corey Haines (39:02)
Yeah.

Zach Stevens (39:05)
No.

Nick Loudon (39:08)
Mandalorian. I've watched this one.

Zach Stevens (39:10)
Season one,

season one and season two, great. Everything after that, pfft.

Corey Haines (39:18)
Yeah, I would give it like a B overall. Yeah.

Nick Loudon (39:19)
I will put this in B.

B.

Zach Stevens (39:22)
Very enjoyable seeing Grogu is one of the coolest Star Wars characters that's come out in a long time.

Corey Haines (39:32)
And like the actual Mandalorian's, I've always thought super fascinating, very interesting. think there's some cool, ⁓ you know, good details in the show, some cool action, a good mix of like, there's some parts where you're like, dang, this is intense and some good action, but also good story, good, a lot of good dilemmas in the show. So yeah, I was, I was pretty happy with it overall.

Nick Loudon (39:59)
And Bill Burr is in it too, which makes it fun. Kenobi.

Corey Haines (40:02)
Yeah.

Zach Stevens (40:04)
D.

Corey Haines (40:06)
Yeah, D.

Nick Loudon (40:07)
Okay, can I just make

a claim, which is, ⁓ my wife and I watched this together, and watching it with her, which she is not invested in Star Wars at all, but she was like, wanting to watch the next episode. She was like, interested in what was happening. It made me more interested in the storyline, and it actually made the show a lot better to watch it with someone who doesn't care about Star Wars that much.

⁓ so I would put this actually in C I don't know. I, I think I'd put it below force awakens.

Zach Stevens (40:40)
No way.

Okay.

Corey Haines (40:47)
Yeah.

Yeah.

Nick Loudon (40:48)
but

it was actually like really a fun watch if you are willing to just like throw out everything else.

Corey Haines (40:56)
It's not terrible, it's

Zach Stevens (40:56)
There was some...

Corey Haines (40:57)
just pretty like boring and...

Zach Stevens (40:57)
There was... Yeah. There was some cool, like...

I think it had the start of some cool ideas. Like I didn't think about this, but Obi-Wan doesn't know that Anakin's still alive. Like he thinks he's dead. I that was a really cool premise. Like, ⁓ he's depressed because he thinks that like, you know, he, that his friend is dead and not turned evil and that he killed him. So that was interesting. The worst part about it was I think they just, totally botched Darth Vader in that series.

Corey Haines (41:01)
opportunity.

Nick Loudon (41:09)
Yeah. Yeah.

Yeah.

Yeah, it

was a little wild what they did, but skeleton crew. I have not seen it. I don't know what it is. Oops.

Zach Stevens (41:31)
Haven't seen it either.

Corey Haines (41:34)
Wait, I'm so small. Let me just make sure I'm thinking of the right one skeleton crew

Zach Stevens (41:37)
Skeleton cruise on

with a Jude lie.

Corey Haines (41:41)
⁓ yeah, it's all right. mean, yeah, of course. I've seen everything. I even watched the anime ones. ⁓

Nick Loudon (41:43)
You haven't Have you seen that?

just pick a rank and i'll put it in because we have no context

Corey Haines (41:59)
Yeah, I mean, it's like a D. It's very inconsequential. It's a little bit silly. It's more of a kid's show. It's like a PG family show, you know?

Zach Stevens (42:10)
can't be.

That's not exciting.

Nick Loudon (42:16)
No worries. Solo, which is a film. The Han Solo origin story.

Zach Stevens (42:19)
See? Enjoyable. Cool. Awesome to see

Corey Haines (42:22)
Yeah.

Zach Stevens (42:25)
Childish Gambino as Lando Calrissian.

Corey Haines (42:29)
It could have been worse. Like they executed fairly well. ⁓

Zach Stevens (42:34)
Mm-hmm.

Good list of actors too, like Paul Bettany ⁓ and Daenerys Targaryen, Emilia Clarke.

Nick Loudon (42:44)
I saw Solo

Corey Haines (42:45)
There, start carrying.

Nick Loudon (42:47)
in theater and I remember having a good time when I watched it. It was an enjoyable watch in theater.

Corey Haines (42:48)
Crossover.

Zach Stevens (42:52)
Yeah, popcorn

movie.

Corey Haines (42:55)
think the best part about it was the, ⁓ what's it called? The something run the, ⁓ the Kessel run. Yeah. Like that, that lore and that fan service was cool.

Zach Stevens (42:59)
Kessel Run.

Nick Loudon (43:00)
Yeah. 12 parsecs.

Zach Stevens (43:05)
Yeah, or playing ⁓ Sabot and losing the Millennium Falcon over a game of Sabot.

Corey Haines (43:09)
Yeah. Yeah.

Nick Loudon (43:11)
Star Wars Rebels, has anyone seen it?

Corey Haines (43:14)
Yes,

Rebels is also awesome, up there with Bad Batch.

Zach Stevens (43:16)
I've

heard this is at the same caliber as Clone Wars.

Corey Haines (43:21)
Yeah, it's really good stuff. I was so sad when it was over. ⁓ man. I mean, our A tier is so good. It's hard to really compare it with those. would put it B personally, but it's, it's like a, punches above its weight though.

Nick Loudon (43:23)
A or B?

Top of B.

Zach Stevens (43:39)
Mm-hmm. Okay.

Nick Loudon (43:39)
Okay, we'll have to take your word

for it. Boba Fett. Has anyone watched Boba Fett?

Zach Stevens (43:45)
Yeah, there's only one season. It's D or C.

Corey Haines (43:51)
Yeah, for me it's, it is exactly. Yeah. Unfortunately.

Nick Loudon (43:51)
Is it kind of Kenobi-esque?

Zach Stevens (43:54)
Yeah.

Nick Loudon (43:55)
Let's just put it above Kenobi.

Zach Stevens (43:57)
Mhm.

Nick Loudon (43:58)
Rogue One, I put this one last.

Zach Stevens (44:01)
I would put Rogue One as S-tier, but I think we already had this discussion in that it's only S-tier if you are a really big Star Wars fan, because if you are, it has some of the absolute best fan service of any movie.

Corey Haines (44:17)
Yeah, I love this movie so much. I think it's kind of like a perfect movie in a lot of ways. ⁓ But it only becomes an S tier if you're a Star Wars fan. Otherwise you're like, that was a surprisingly good movie. I didn't think I would like it because I'm not really into Star Wars. You would enjoy it a lot. ⁓ So for me, it's hard to put an S tier, but it's like an A plus.

Zach Stevens (44:42)
Probably

some of the best Darth Vader appearances, hands down, like, which is...

Corey Haines (44:46)
Yeah.

Zach Stevens (44:49)
Especially looking at something like Kenobi. It's like yep, that was not Darth Vader in that suit. It was very clearly somebody else. This is not well written at all. The way that they portrayed Darth Vader, it's by far I think one of the best movie theater experiences I ever had was seeing Rogue One opening night and then the final scene where Darth Vader comes under the the Tantive Five and just mercs everybody. That was one of the coolest things in cinema history for me.

Corey Haines (45:19)
What one more point about this one is I think that if you had never seen star wars and then you watched everything chronologically and then you got to rogue one, you would be peeing your pants the whole time because it's like the stakes are so high. You know what I mean? Like, and that's, think the part that I love about it the most and I don't want to explain anything. Like I think the way that it ends is awesome. Like it's so, so good and perfect for it.

Nick Loudon (45:34)
You

Zach Stevens (45:38)
Mm-hmm.

Dude, if you haven't seen, if you've not

seen Rogue One, this is on you. Just like, spoiler alert, it's on.

Nick Loudon (45:49)
No, no, I haven't seen it in

like since it came out in theaters. Just okay for full transparency. I feel like I was a pretty big Star Wars fan my whole life, but wasn't as invested in the story itself. Like I was a fan of like the spectacle of Star Wars. Rogue One came out while I was in college. I watched it in theaters and I was like, movie. I didn't like absorb it as it was happening.

Zach Stevens (46:19)
See.

Nick Loudon (46:19)
I haven't watched it since I saw it in theaters. So I kind of don't want you to talk about it so I can watch it again.

Zach Stevens (46:22)
I feel like...

Okay, you should, you should. That one, I could watch Rogue One. It could take the place of Empire Strikes Back. I'm like, that one day where I tell Naomi and Harper leave me alone for about four hours and I just watch a movie by myself, I could easily swap Empire Strikes Back and Rogue One and I would be just as satisfied.

Corey Haines (46:25)
Yeah, he said.

Nick Loudon (46:43)
Where's Return

of the King on the EARLESS?

Corey Haines (46:45)
Yeah, you should. You should watch episode three and then and or and then Rogue One and then episode four.

Nick Loudon (46:54)
That's like a two day endeavor.

Corey Haines (46:58)
No, well, yeah, exactly. It's definitely a time investment, but I think that through line is so strong. Like that's like 90 % of the meat of Star Wars plot. Yeah.

Nick Loudon (47:11)
Really? Okay.

Zach Stevens (47:12)
Also

very good, very good villain, really good villain in this one, in Rogue One.

Nick Loudon (47:18)
Let's put an NS. Bottom of S.

Corey Haines (47:21)
I think

so. think so. Cause the other thing about it is that it's so good as a star's movie without any lightsabers. How is that even possible?

Zach Stevens (47:29)
There's lightsabers in it. They're just not prominent.

Corey Haines (47:32)
like like two minutes of lightsabers you know but like

it's not like our main characters are wielding lightsabers and we're sort of following this like jedi or the sith like

Zach Stevens (47:41)
No,

that's what was interesting about it. So I remember watching this in theaters going, wow, they were doing a really good job, like not making this about the Force and the Jedi. Like they're still honoring Star Wars without making it so on the nose.

Corey Haines (47:58)
Yeah, really good cast. They were all like new faces. ⁓

Zach Stevens (48:04)
With the exception of ones that were actually a delightful surprise like Itman being it in it.

Corey Haines (48:09)
yeah. Yeah.

Nick Loudon (48:11)
Okay, we are way over time. We've talked for so long about Star Wars. Okay, before we go, I want no explanation. We're all gamers here. One Star Wars game, your favorite game, no explanation. Now we'll close. Cory, go. For what? What device? Because there's two Star Wars Battlefront IIs.

Corey Haines (48:30)
Star Wars Battlefront II.

that's right. Well, I do both because, ⁓ they're PS4.

Nick Loudon (48:38)
OG or new? Just say it. No explanation.

Zach Stevens (48:45)
You

Corey Haines (48:47)
Wait, PS5, think, PS5. No, PS4.

Nick Loudon (48:51)
Zach, do you have one?

Zach Stevens (48:52)
Revenge of the Sith, PS2.

Nick Loudon (48:55)
So freaking good. I get to answer. Shut up. My pick is, ⁓ it's called Jedi Fallen Order. It's like a Dark Souls type, you know, fantastic game. Okay, that's it. Welcome and goodbye to the break room for indulging us for Star Wars. Long discussion. Hope you guys enjoy this.

Corey Haines (48:57)
Okay, but Star Wars Battlefront II for PS2 ⁓

Zach Stevens (49:08)
Okay. Yeah.

Corey Haines (49:08)
yeah.

first one was fun.

I think we nailed it.

Nick Loudon (49:24)
Yeah, I think we did a pretty good job. New Hope being in the S tier I think makes sense. I know it was a debate, but I think it's a decent list, honestly. Good job, you guys.

Corey Haines (49:26)
very happy with this list.

Zach Stevens (49:35)
We should share that on Twitter.

Corey Haines (49:36)
very happy.

Nick Loudon (49:38)
And then don't forget,

choose yellow, choose Pacifico.

Zach Stevens (49:43)
Hahaha

Nick Loudon (49:44)
Goodbye.
