Hey everybody. It's Susan Poizner from Orchard people.com and welcome to the Orchard People Podcast, where we explore how to grow healthy, productive, and resilient fruit trees. Whether you're brand new to growing fruit trees, or whether you've been doing it for quite a while, you've come to the right place.

For over 10 years, I have been interviewing experts and orchardists to get all the hints and tips about how to grow organic fruit trees productively and easily. I began this podcast after I started a community orchard in my local park in Toronto, Canada. And like many new growers, I really struggled. So in this show, you're gonna find a lot of classic evergreen episodes that will explore the questions you've been wondering about.

Like, how do I feed my fruit trees? How much water do my fruit trees need? How do I protect my fruit trees in the winter?

Every episode is designed to help you understand your fruit trees better, so that [00:01:00] you can grow your trees with confidence.

Now after 10 wonderful years this podcast is evolving. I'm not gonna be posting monthly anymore.

Instead, I'm going to share new episodes once in a while when I have something special to say.

Right now my focus is on writing books. I am going to be going through all the a hundred plus episodes that we had, and I want to find all the information in there. And communicate it in my books in a way that's helpful for everybody and really accessible.

The best thing that you can do if you want to know what's happening next, is to make sure you sign up for my email list. It's at orchard people.com/sign-up, and it will tell you exactly when I do have a new podcast or a new video.

You will be the first to find out So now it's time for you guys to dig into those episodes. I hope you learn a lot from those wonderful guests, and I hope you have great [00:02:00] success in growing fruit trees in the future.

Good luck with your fruit trees and a happy growing.
