Hello and welcome to the Transfer News Podcast, your daily fix of Premier League transfer news and rumours. I'm Archer, and it's Sunday, January eleventh, two thousand and twenty-six. We've got a packed show today with some fascinating developments from across the league, so let's dive straight in.
Starting with Arsenal, and Mikel Arteta's side are reportedly monitoring Newcastle's Tino Livramento. The young right-back has impressed at Saint James' Park, and it seems the Gunners are keeping close tabs on his development. Arsenal are also in the mix for Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi, joining what's becoming quite a crowded race for the England international's signature.
Speaking of Arsenal youngsters, Bournemouth are showing keen interest in Ethan Nwaneri. The teenage midfielder has been turning heads with his performances, and Andoni Iraola clearly sees something special in him.
Sticking with Bournemouth, they're also eyeing Nottingham Forest's Brennan Johnson. It seems the Cherries are serious about strengthening their squad this month, targeting young, dynamic talent.
Over at Newcastle, Eddie Howe faces a battle to sign Wolves striker Jorgen Strand Larsen. West Ham are also interested in the Norwegian forward, with Nuno Espirito Santo keen to bolster his attacking options in January. It's shaping up to be quite the tussle for his signature.
In what could be a dramatic twist at Manchester United, Marcus Rashford may have found a route back into Ruben Amorim's plans. The specifics are unclear, but this is certainly one to watch closely. Meanwhile, United are also considering a move for Everton's James Garner, eyeing a potential loan deal for Chelsea's Conor Gallagher, and are reportedly plotting a January move for Bournemouth's Antoine Semenyo. However, here's the interesting bit, Semenyo himself apparently prefers a move to Liverpool if given the choice. That could complicate United's pursuit significantly.
And in perhaps the most shocking news from Old Trafford, Kobbie Mainoo reportedly wants to leave Manchester United. If true, that would be absolutely seismic for the club.
Real Madrid are making waves in the transfer market, joining the race for Crystal Palace midfielder Adam Wharton. Oliver Glasner won't want to lose one of his most promising talents, but when Madrid come calling, it's hard to say no. In related news, Barcelona have apparently cooled their interest in Marc Guehi, which might open the door for other suitors.
Chelsea news now, and Enzo Maresca's side are keeping tabs on Newcastle midfielder Sandro Tonali. The Italian has had a challenging time recently, but his undeniable quality makes him an attractive prospect. Chelsea and Leeds are also both monitoring Manchester City's James McAtee, another young English talent generating interest.
Speaking of Real Madrid, their winger Rodrygo reportedly wants to leave the Spanish giants. That's a development that will have several top clubs across Europe sitting up and taking notice.
Liverpool are set to sign Ordonez, adding to Arne Slot's defensive options as they continue to compete on multiple fronts this season.
Manchester City's Nathan Ake has rejected a move to West Ham United, choosing to stay and fight for his place under Pep Guardiola. Meanwhile, City youngster Oscar Bobb is attracting interest, with Borussia Dortmund leading the race for his signature.
Fulham are targeting Ricardo Pepi, the American forward who carries a forty million pound price tag. Marco Silva is clearly looking to add firepower to his attack.
Saudi Pro League clubs are targeting Newcastle's Joelinton, as the Middle Eastern leagues continue their aggressive pursuit of Premier League talent.
In Spain, two La Liga clubs are battling for Bournemouth defender Marcos Senesi. The Argentine has been impressive on the south coast and could be set for a return to Spanish football.
And finally, Roma are experiencing a deadlock in their pursuit of Joshua Zirkzee. The negotiations appear to have stalled, leaving the striker's immediate future uncertain.
