Welcome back my dear friends to day number 192 on page 993 in the treasure for life edition of the Yor ha-Sadiq and the ways of the righteous in the gate of fear of heaven Ve'atah b'roseinu sho'adam nivcharme kol yitzurim, mirov chokh mosav v'rov pulosav Now that we see that man is the choicest of God's creations. God created us
So that we emulate God. Ki kol ha-yitzurim mishu abadimu adam. All of Hashem's creation are here to serve man Sun, the moon, the stars as we mentioned previously in day number 191. The sun and the moon were created to serve mankind Why? For his body? No. For his soul, which is even more lofty than all of them. Ve'yesh bo koach lilmod chokh mo And that same Soul, that same neshama has the ability to attain wisdom Ve'lehov in ha-sodos, to understand the secrets. Ha-amukim, ve'lehov in rozei ha-olam ha-tachtun
Ve'lehas gil rozei ha-olam elyon, to know the secrets of the lower world and To know the secrets of the upper world. Ze'hu simon muvok la'odam she te'inav shetzura b'tzor ha-chayim Im hu mekayim es ha-Torah. So therefore if a person does fulfill the Torah He does immerse himself in understanding the nature of this world, how Hashem created it. Read Hashem's manual He tells you, he tells you in his manual. It's like you wonder when you buy a Table, right? It comes with instructions how to assemble the table
It also tells you how to clean the table. It tells you how to care for the table It tells you all the information you need so that you can enjoy the table You buy a book, the author writes how to enjoy this book the most He tells you exactly what he had in mind in his creation of the book He tells you this star means this, this pen mark means that, this paper means this, right?
They give you all the codes of exactly how you understand and how do you maximize the book? Because otherwise you're not gonna know what's going on. You're like, I don't know, every page there's a star I have no idea what it's there for but like this you get to understand. There's a manual, you buy a computer There's a whole manual. It tells you how to use the computer. It tells you how to maximize it. You buy a door It comes with a manual as well. What's so complicated about a door?
Well, you might not know how to install it You might not know how to balance it and then you're gonna be, you're gonna be bothered, but it's never working, right? It's never closing properly. Well, it's got to be balanced They're gonna give you the instructions So what's more complicated? A computer, a table, or life? Life is considered. So where's the owner's manual? Where's the owner's manual? Owner's manual is the Torah. Shem gave us the Torah so that we understand how to live life
You want to know how to educate your children? When your child was born he didn't come with a manual. The manual was given 3,300 years ago You want to know how to succeed in marriage? My marriage didn't come with a manual. Men are from Mars, women from Venus didn't come under the under the chuppah well, the manual was given 3,300 years ago in the Torah and The Torah gives us all of the insights we need to be successful He says, you know what?
This is compared to a king who brought his servants to the inner chambers He brings them in and shows them his treasures. He shows them all of his gems, all of his royalty And he's showing them his treasures and pearls and all of his archives Placing them in charge and control of all of them Revealing his secrets to them and exhorting them to be truthful with him which if they do he will confer great good upon them and Elevate them many times above their present position
And he will give them good and will raise them and will carry them against their knees And they will do what they have done until now. And it will be a blessing for them that they will reveal to them their secrets and their treasures And they will be satisfied on their land in the future And they will be content on their land in the future. And it will be evident to them that the king will say to them in the future So he says, what does he do? He confers
Great good upon them. He will confer great good upon them and elevate them He says in the fact that he reveals to them his secrets and his treasures and in fact has given them dominion over the land Serves to them as a sign that he speaks the truth So to Hashem has shown man his greatness and glory and revealed to him his secrets in both the upper and lower realms and Has given him dominion over all Hashem gave us to be in control of everything
He says certainly through this man will understand the grandeur That will be his in the future if he is faithful in the service of Hashem So we see that there's an unbelievable power here Hashem has given us all the tools. Hashem says look at my world. Look at my creation Look, I'm giving you all the secrets. Everything's in the Torah. You have it all there. If Hashem gives it to us all He certainly is going to be Rewarding us when we fulfill his will
We have another proof that our soul comes from on high Says we know that every person always desires more. There's no person who just says, oh, I'm just fine. I'm just fine Right. Everybody desires more. Everybody's running for something. Everyone's gunning for something. Everybody wants something. Why is everybody always desiring things? As the Torah teaches us, someone who has 100 wants 200. Someone who has 200 wants 400. A person always wants more People always want to get promoted in their job
They always want to do more. Why? They always want to get another promotion. Why another promotion? Fine. Let me just live in my job Live and let live If a person is an officer in the government, he starts off as a congressman, a local representative and he goes to become a state senator and he becomes a congressman and then becomes a senator and then states a U.S. Senate and then he wants to run for president and then he wants a
If not that then he wants to get a position in the cabinet People are always vying for a higher role. What's going on? He says, that's why mankind, we stand upright. Why? Because we have a soul. So we get arrogant and we feel, he says, all the other animals, they're going bent over, they're on their stomachs, they're horizontal. We let it get to our head sometimes, but he says the soul is so great It's never relenting. It always wants more, always wants more, always wants more
And since our soul comes from heaven Therefore the body which the soul is Embedded in it Therefore the body now gets attracted. He says, I have this lofty soul in me, this lofty soul wants greater and greater heights Me too. I want a bigger house. I want a bigger car. I want nicer clothes. I want more jewelry I want all of these things and more and more and more because the body took the strength of the Soul of the soul
Therefore our sages call a person, a human being, an olam katon, a small world He says therefore the soul is considered like the creator and the body is considered like the lower and upper worlds And now, he says, listen to this wondrous wisdom Just like G-d is Controlling man or governs every person and the entire universe Up above in the heavenly realms and in the lower realms He says so to mankind As long as he does the will of G-d, then he's in control
We see about Moses G-d said After the Jewish people sinned with the golden calf Leave me alone and I will destroy them What did G-d say? G-d was attributing the power to G-d And what do we see what happened with Korach when they were doing the evil against G-d? The earth swallowed them and all that was theirs As Moshe requested Who's Moshe? He says that we see throughout history that those who did the will of G-d had unbelievable powers
G-d didn't destroy Korach just on his own Oh Moshe said to Abel, we all have the same power. We all have the same greatness But we have to nurture that greatness How do we nurture that greatness? That's with the closeness with G-d. How do we get that closeness with G-d? Through the study of Torah He says therefore a person should be careful to fulfill the Torah Chukosov, his laws, and his commandments Just like G-d knows everything past, present, future Gives man wisdom
He says just like G-d gives good and bad to those who do good He gives good and to those who do bad. He gives bad He said man, yeah, we don't have the ability like G-d But we have the ability to be far greater than we are right now We have so much ability to be so much greater By fulfilling the will of G-d and we become more godly. People go to rabbis to get blessings. What does he have? What does he know?
A person who's a little bit more connected has a little bit more power And that's that's a tremendous thing and that concludes day number 192, my dear friends.
