Um, • • • stories of the Bible. • • • • Esther. • • • • • Let's meet Esther, • • who was brave and a beautiful queen. She heard a terrible plan of someone who was mean. The man's name was Haman, • • and he hated Mordecai the Jew. • • Heyman. Made a decree to kill all the Jews, and there was nothing they could do. • • Mordecai asked Esther to tell the king something was amiss and asked, what if you were made queen for such a time as this? • •
Speaker H
Esther knew it was scary, but she went to the king • • he was happy to see her and would give her anything. • • • •
Speaker G
Esther held two banquets and then told the evil plot to the king. • • The king was angry and asked who would do such a thing. Esther said that Hayman was the man, the one who came up with the plan. Hayman was terrified. He went pale with fright. • Uh • • the king ordered Hayman killed on um that very night. But the plot was still in place and the Jews were in harm's way. The king issued a new decree to defend themselves however they may. The Jewish people were saved because of Esther's bravery, • • and the Jews celebrated their great victory. • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • •
Speaker D

All we have to do is open up the Bible and take a look. Well, I have to take this train to the next stop. See you around, friend. And bye, Arlo. Bye, Chili. Peace you. • • • • •
