Hey, I am back with a shorty episode. And I'm really excited about this shorty episode, because I'm going to go over four apps that I just absolutely can't live without. Some of these are going to be editing apps. And one, of course is going to be my booking app, the one that I just cannot live without. And I will tell you, as far as the booking apps go and booking software goes, I have tried so many things. And this is not not like I said, I do not get paid by any of these companies. I just love them. Because I have tested it, I've tried it, it's worked really, really well for me. And that's not to say that whatever you're using is not a great option either. But these are just the apps that I really love. And I really enjoy. So let's go ahead and jump into the first one. The first one I'm going to talk about is my booking app, which is Magaro. I love Vaccaro so dang much. It has helped me automate my online booking process get all of my cancellation policy, any other business policies that have signed, it made it so easy for me, I was able to take deposits collect credit card information automatically, I didn't have to do anything over the phone. And I could also send out text reminders, email reminders, I could set up the entire automated process. So that way I could eliminate my receptions, work and all other types of things. So I absolutely love Vaccaro. I also was able to have my payment processing system in regards to so for girl has its own payment processing system super competitive rates, you can also deposit your retail sales into a separate account. And you can deposit your service sales into a separate account also, which really, really helps with your taxes like helps so incredibly much, you can actually see what your retail was versus your actual sales. And you can also run super accurate reports within Vaccaro, too. So you can see your retention percentages, you can see you know, your retail to sales percentages, all of that good stuff, you can check out in Vaccaro, and you can also see how many new clients you had versus return clients. There's so many other things in Magaro. And I know that I could talk seriously an entire episode on it. But it's that's the gist of it. And if you would like to join Magaro, I'm going to insert a little link for it in the show notes. So that way you can check it out. If you're a Magaro user, then there's an incredible amount of things that you can have through Vaccaro. And I do know that Magaro does require like little upgrades depending on what you want to use. So you can actually customize it if you want certain things, you can add them. But if you don't want other features, you can actually keep them off, which is one of the things that I loved too. The next app I absolutely cannot live without is Canva. Canva is incredible, especially if you need to have more branded stories. Or if you want to have kind of a little bit more of a graphic design element to your actual social media Canva is really incredible. You can go in, you can actually choose your brand colors, you can have an entire brand palette, and it's a great tool to level up your stories or to be able to level up your social media feed is really a great, great tool. And I love it so much I absolutely recommend you check out Canva because it helps me with all of the incredible graphics that you see across my business and across my education and everything else. The third one, and it's kind of a top question that I get on my feed anytime I post like a before and after. There's always if you look in the middle, there's not a hard line. It's kind of a blurred line in between that before and after, which helps with the transition and helps with the actual aesthetic of my feed. I use an app called split pick and I love this app. I've actually used it for a really really long time. And if you go down you scroll down my feed you actually notice that pretty much all of the pictures that you see that are before and afters are side by sides, they have that blurred line and that is with split pick. That's SPL it p IC and I'll put that in the show notes also. But it is a great app if you're wanting to just have a little bit more of a flow to your feed and you don't necessarily want to rake it up with those hard lines. The fourth and final one that I really love too is called viscose. That's vs. Seo. And maybe you've heard of it before, but it is a editing app. It has preset filters in there. And I do love filters. Not necessarily because I want to change the way that the colors on my Instagram look, but because I want my Instagram to have a specific aesthetic feel. And when I scroll down, I want it to all kind of Jive together, I'll kind of mix. And there are times where the lighting is a little bit off in my salon, or I have a specific iPhone that kind of takes sucky pictures, or whatever it may be, there's definitely times where the hair does not look similar to what it is in person compared to what it is on whatever you're taking the pictures with. So with VSCO, I'm able to create a little bit of a filter to go over my pictures to help just aesthetically with my feed. And that does not mean that I alter them in any way that is going to change them so much to where it's like, well, if you look at that person in real life, and you look at the hair on Instagram, it is not the same, I do not believe in altering pictures, I believe in adjusting them. And that's one of the things that I teach in my class, raising your value through photography is that you should go for adjusting pictures versus altering them. altering them means that if someone stood by that picture, and you looked at it on your phone, if you looked at their hair, it does not look like the same person or the same hair. And adjustment is just where you make it a little bit more aesthetically pleasing. So that way can pop off of the feed and grab people's attention. And that is it for this shorty episode.

And hey, if you enjoyed the podcast, make sure you show me some love by leaving a rating a review. And when you do post a little, you know, thing that you would like me to talk about like, is there a topic that's burning within you that you would love me to talk about on that episode? Because I love collecting ideas from you. I love trying to figure out what you want to hear about. But at the same time I love it when I get a little bit more of a direct answer. It's so much easier for me to just like, Oh, my students want me to talk about this or this Silas wants me to talk about this. And there are so many others who need help on something similar. And then I can actually add it in to the episodes. Now before I go. I do want to say don't forget to check out the show notes. I'm going to have all the links for the apps that I talked about in there. So I will be able to support you with that as best as I possibly can.
