The Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities has announced the provisional funding allocations from Levelling Up Fund 2.
Included in this funding is a £50 million investment for transport links in Cornwall connecting four of the county’s largest urban areas.
Another allocation will see new state of the art education facilities in Blackpool and the upgrading of two London underground stations.

Chelmsford has been awarded Purple Flag accreditation for the eleventh year running, with this showing off the quality of the city’s night time economy.
A key part of this award is the collaboration between Chelmsford City Council and other stakeholders.
A number of recommendations have been made following the assessment, as the council looks to continue with its period of improvement.
