Pastor Fredo Ramos:

Psalm one zero three. Let all that I am praise the Lord. With my whole heart, I will praise his holy name. Let all that I am praise the Lord. May I never forget the good things he does for me.

Pastor Fredo Ramos:

He forgives all my sins and he heals all my diseases. He redeems me from death and crowns me with love and tender mercies. He fills my life with good things. My youth is renewed like the eagles. The Lord gives righteousness and justice to all who are treated unfairly.

Pastor Fredo Ramos:

He revealed his character to Moses. Verse eight, the Lord is compassionate and merciful, slow to get angry, and filled with unfailing love. That is the most repeated description of God that we have in the Psalms. He is compassionate, merciful, slow to get angry, filled with unfailing love. He will not constantly accuse us nor remain angry forever.

Pastor Fredo Ramos:

He does not punish us for all our sins. He does not deal harshly with us as we deserve for his unfailing love towards those who fear him is as great as the height of the heavens above the earth. He has removed our sins as far from us as the East is from the West. The Lord is like a father to his children, tender and compassionate to those who fear him. He knows how weak we are.

Pastor Fredo Ramos:

He remembers we are only dust. Our days on earth are like grass, like wildflowers. We bloom and then die. What a description of our life. The wind blows and we are gone as though we had never been here, but the love of the Lord remains forever with those who fear him.

Pastor Fredo Ramos:

His salvation extends to the children's children of those who are faithful to his covenant. Verse 19, the Lord has made the heavens his throne. From there, he rules over everything. Praise the Lord, you angels, you mighty ones who carry out his plans, listening for each of his commands. Yes.

Pastor Fredo Ramos:

Praise the Lord, you armies of angels who serve him and do his will. Praise the Lord. Everything he has created, everything in all of his kingdom. Let all that I am praise the Lord. Psalm one zero three begins with the same line that it ends with.

Pastor Fredo Ramos:

Let all that I am praise the Lord. Now, what is that ultimately rooted in? I love there by way of reflection verse two. May I never forget the good things he has done for me. And then for the rest of the song, David begins to list all of those good things.

Pastor Fredo Ramos:

He has forgiven his sins. He has healed him. He has redeemed him from death. He has satisfied his desires with good things. It's the very thing I have tattooed on my right hand as a reminder that oftentimes the things that I reach for is my attempt to satisfy my desires.

Pastor Fredo Ramos:

Yes. Psalm one zero three verse five is a reminder that God in his wisdom, power, and timing will in fact satisfy my desires with good things. He continues to describe him as a Lord who is unfailing with his love. His unfaithful love or I'm sorry, his unfailing love towards us is as great as the height of the heavens. In other words, if you need a reminder of how faithful God will be to you, look at a mountain today.

Pastor Fredo Ramos:

Go outside and look how high the heavens are. And and let Psalm one zero three remind you that God's love for you goes even higher and extends much further. And so I think by way of reminder and invitation to consider how when we get, scared, when we get doubtful, when we maybe have feelings of anxiousness, it's often rooted in the fact that we have forgotten God's benefits. Verse two, may I never forget the benefits that God has given to me. In other words, oftentimes the way we are feeling when it's not aligned with God's promises is rooted in our forgetfulness, our spiritual amnesia.

Pastor Fredo Ramos:

We tend to forget God's goodness. And so Jesus, we hear you now inviting us today to not forget the ways that you have been good to us. As we go about our work, as we go about our relationships, as we go about the various tasks that we need to complete today, may we not forget all of your benefits, all of the ways that your love has perfectly sustained us. You are a faithful God. And so we confess to you the temptation to not remember you.

Pastor Fredo Ramos:

And would you lead us by the power of your Holy Spirit in a new direction today? We're at the forefront of our thinking and feeling is all the beautiful good things you have done for us. We pray these things in Jesus name. Amen.
