The Securities and Exchange Board of India, or S-E-B-I, has announced a review of the settlement price methodology for derivative contracts in light of the rollout of the Clearing Agency System, known as CAS. Additionally, S-E-B-I has issued multiple corrigenda and public notices related to PACL property sales and investor refunds. Investors eligible for refunds must register their claims via the designated online portal within specified timelines, while bidders in property e-auctions are required to adhere to updated schedules and payment terms as outlined in the notices.

S-E-B-I signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the European Securities and Markets Authority, or ESMA, focusing on cooperation and exchange of information relating to central counterparties. Furthermore, S-E-B-I issued corrigenda extending bid and auction dates for auction tender documents. Public notices have also been released for the phase II refund process for investors of Citrus Check Inns Limited and Royal Twinkle Star Club Private Limited, with extended eligibility periods. Investors must register claims on the refund portal between 1 August and 14 September 2026, and bidders must comply with the revised tender timelines as per the corrigenda.

The Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India, or I-R-D-A-I, has issued a cautionary notice warning against fraudulent and unauthorized websites impersonating the official IRDAI Bima Bharosa Integrated Grievance Management System, known as IGMS. Businesses and users are advised to verify the authenticity of the IRDAI Bima Bharosa IGMS website and avoid interacting with fraudulent sites.

The Bombay High Court has ordered the removal of AI-generated deepfake content targeting Indian actress Shruti Haasan. Social media platforms are required to comply with the court order and take down the AI-generated deepfake and manipulated content without consent.

The Central Pollution Control Board, or C-P-C-B, has established a network of 274 Continuous Ambient Air Quality Monitoring Stations, or CAAQMS, across 144 cities in 24 states and union territories. These stations are connected to a centralized web-based system that enables real-time data monitoring and publication. The C-P-C-B is also developing a National Air Quality Index. Continuous operation and data transmission from the CAAQMS to C-P-C-B servers are mandatory, with real-time air quality data published on public portals and media outlets. Dashboards for data visualization will be maintained for various stakeholders.
