It is 08:00 on the East Coast. It is 05:00 on the West Coast. It is the October 1 in the year of our lord 2026 season 17 episode twelve, seven hundred eighty five times. You have been welcomed to the clubhouse podcast, your one stop shop for all things sports, entertainment, pop culture, and pro wrestling. Welcome. My name is Rob. I am the executive producer of the clubhouse podcast, and there is a lot going on. And so we're not gonna spend a bunch of time in this intro. Alex out on assignment tonight, but I am not by myself because right there on your screen is the official fact checker of Sooner or Gator Productions and a man who's also got a lot to talk about tonight. And both of us have distractions this evening. You may know him as Ike Bunu, but his mama named him Don Ford. I'm gonna call him Don Ford. Hey, man. Oh, hold on. Now I gotta unmute you. You okay? A little tease. Something to do with my shirt. We'll get into. Yeah. My new shirt. Which is great on an audio podcast. Well, people watching from the video stream. Well, yeah. Alright. Let's get right into it. The last weekend in college football, another crazy weekend as week four is in the books with week five about to get underway. Indiana beats Northwestern. A lot of people touting Northwestern. I don't believe it yet. Wake Forest upsets Louisville by I did not see that coming. Mm-mm. Texas struggles but does beat Tennessee to remain at number one in the polls. Ohio State all over Illinois. Tech takes Sam Houston State to the woodshed. Notre Dame almost shuts out Purdue. Florida shows Ole Miss who Ole Miss is. A lot of people thought that this might have been hangover after the LSU game. I do not. I believe that Ole Miss isn't... It's one of those they are who we thought they were situations. This week, Florida does have Mizzou, so I'll be interested to see how that goes. Georgia just obliterates Oklahoma. Utah over Iowa State. Iowa beats Michigan by a point in a crazy game. Houston all over Georgia Southern. Wisconsin upsetting Penn State by four. Miami continues to roll. I'm still not buying yet. I... They... I really want them to play somebody. Alabama wins big. LSU beats A and M, which may knock them down quite a few more pegs. Oregon all over USC and a game that not a lot of people saw coming as well. Mississippi State showing that they are for real in the top 25 right now. We'll see where that goes as well and SMU all over Missouri State. Now let's talk about the NFL. Real fast. I... The only big... There's a couple things, but how Georgia spanked Oklahoma. I I would have bet them to win, but not by that much. It's Georgia. They dominate this this league. I know, but still, I thought Oklahoma would be a closer game than that. That's just my my personal thoughts on it. Georgia wins quietly. It's what they do. It's what they always do. The... So the big question is two weeks or a week and a half or whatever when Texas takes on OU at the Red River Rev. See how Oklahoma does against Texas. That'll be a real bellwether on that number one, number two thing. You know what I'm saying? Oklahoma's not gonna be number two? No. I'm talking about how if Georgia spanks Oklahoma, but Oklahoma beats Texas by three or Texas only wins Oklahoma by three. It might show a little bit of, you know, how those teams are. It might be a little cold weather. Oklahoma has to win that game outright. Yeah. I know. It'll be interesting. For it to even affect what Texas is doing. If they... If if Texas wins by a point or if they win by a 100, it doesn't matter. You're at the... You're on the top of the mountain until somebody tells you you off. Yep. I don't necessarily agree with it. I think that Texas has a chance to get exposed, but I don't, you know, they're undefeated. Yep. And so I'm not sure what happens. I just don't buy it yet. Last Thursday night, not sure what happened in the frozen tundra or in the tundra at this point as the packers get dismantled by the lowly falcons 35 to 14, and they were getting four and a half. Yeah. Did anybody sign three touchdowns? No one would have called that. No one. Bills called it. Chargers are already charging 24 to 16. Browns over the Panthers. Like I said, that was a game that I just picked Carolina just because I had to pick somebody. Lions beat the Jets by seven in that game, and, they didn't... You know, the the line's gone. That's interesting. Texans lose to the Colts when ND was giving them a point and a half. This colts team, this could get weird on Sunday. We'll talk about it here in a minute. Chiefs, of course, beat the dolphins. They were giving nine and a half. They win by 14. The last dance continues. The giants do beat the titans as they were giving two and a half, but they win by five. Your Steelers, Don. Yep. Took them plus three and a half. And by three. And they win outright. By three. Yep. Yeah. But Is that... Yep. I didn't need the three and a half. They won. Exactly. Football club beats the champs, which this game shouldn't have even been close. No. That's a no huge upset. Yeah. I mean, this this week Last week was crazy. Week three has not been fun. Jaguars destroying New England. 35 to six. They could bounce back this week, but I don't think they will. Niners, giving seven and a half, and they win by six. How do they know? Vikings all over the Buccaneers, they were giving a point and a half. They win by seven. It was ugly, but a win's a win. Ravens beat the Cowboys. If you want a really good in-depth conversation, go back and listen to three wide this week. It was myself, Grooves, and Norm. We break this game down. I think the Ravens, I just don't think they they were they were full throttle. They did enough to win, but the Cowboys also did as much as they could to lose that game too. Exactly. So go check out that conversation. The Raiders are now three and o. I don't understand. Yep. I mean, the autumn wind is a radar, but I... They're three and o. They beat the Saints by eight, and they were getting four. And then Sunday night football, I said the Rams were going to continue to be exposed. I'm not falling for the rope a dope, and I still am not. The, they lose to the Broncos by four, and then Monday night football just blows the wheels off of everything. Yeah. There was so many upsets. Even on the the 49ers win is how the Cardinals got 30 points against them. Yeah. But that but that that team right now offensively has five receivers on the injured list. Yeah. So... And their defense is... I mean, they're gonna get... They're gonna turn it around, but it's just one of those fluky things that happens. You know, the bears completely dismantling the eagles and getting three and a half that game. They win by 20. But let's go to tonight. We're about to kick underway. One of the reasons Don's gonna be distracted is his stillers are going to Paul Brown Stadium. You're giving them two and a half. Cleveland wearing the dark brown on dark brown color rush. Dear god. That's ugly. Yeah. But they are at home. Your boys took care of me last week, Don, so I'm gonna continue to ride with them. I will take the Steelers minus two and a half in this on the road. Yeah. Even if it was, like, four, I would still go for it on this because the browns are still kinda having the issues and stuff even though my... I can't brag on my steelers. Yes. You know, three points last week, but they got spanked the week before. I'd still take the steelers on this. You'll be close because it's a division game as normal. So Sunday, we are not coming in hot. I can tell you that. We're going over to London. London. At Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as the Colts play football club at 08:30AM central. Indy giving three and a half to football team, I would take football club plus three and a half because they, I mean, they hung in there with the champs. And they're... And they they didn't lose as much time. They lost an hour less. And they have the same record right now too. And plus... But here's the big issue. They're in another continent that might screw up some stuff. Who knows? The travel, all that. But still, commanders, I think they're really more ranked to win over the over the colts. So I would take commanders on this one. On the line. Patriots go to Buffalo. Buffalo giving them six and a half. Because this is a divisional game by two... The two strongest teams in this division, I'm not... I... Buffalo wins this game, but I would not... I wouldn't say they win it by a touchdown. It'll be... I... I'm gonna take Patriots plus six and a half, but I still think Buffalo wins. Six... They'll win. I think this is a tough line, but in the end, I know it's division two. I'd still take the... I I think they'll probably wouldn't honestly bike by eight or nine. So I'll take the the Bills. JTS choke, choke, choke goes to Soldier Field. Bears giving them three and a half. It's not enough. The bears will win this by at least a touchdown. The jets, they're on... They're they're making some noise, but they're not making enough noise for me to care. Bears win this. Oh, yeah. I agree too. Even though... And they're they're a home soldier field, all of that. Even though they're both cold weather outside teams, you know, the weather's not gonna be a factor. I still think the bears. Jaguars go to the Bengals. Bengals are giving them two and a half, which is as close to a pick them as you can make it. I don't... I'm still not sold on Cincinnati. The Jaguars are starting to fire on multiple cylinders. I'm not saying all of them yet, but I think they've got enough to go into Cincinnati and win this game. Give me Jaguars plus two and a half. If what they did last week too and what the Bengals did last week too, I'm gonna I'm gonna take the Jaguars on this because they... I still think they got a lot going. They both have the same record, that kind of thing. Probably also can be close, but still in the end with that line, still think the Jaguars. It's not by... It'll be close, but... Yeah. Cardinals Giants is a thing. At MetLife Stadium, Cardinals going west to east and the early game, but Arizona's giving them two and a half. I don't believe in that enough. I think the Giants have enough to win this at home. Give me the Giants plus two and a half. Especially with the home field, even if it was in in in in Arizona, let's say, and it's still two and a half or something like that, I'd still say I agree with the the Giants on that. I just... I... Even with James Winston, they can run the ball and be effective. Rams at Eagles, Rams are giving three and a half. I think this should be going the other way. I think the Eagles are they're at home after that embarrassing showing they had last week. I think it's time for them to get the wheels back on this thing, and I'm still not buying the rams. Give me the eagles plus three and a half. I think... Well, they both lost last week, and the eagles, I think, got a spanking and have to have a, like, a rude awakening because that was embarrassing for them. Yes. The rams lost to Denver in home. It's a division game. They lost to Denver in in in Denver. So I could say... And it was close. It wasn't a blowout. But when... You know, they got spanked, though, with Philadelphia. I think they wanna redeem. It'll be close, but in the end with the line, I'd take the Eagles, especially at home. Packers go to Raymond James Stadium. They're giving the bucs three and a half. It ain't enough. Baker's now out four weeks. The packers are gonna be hungry, and they're gonna come in, and they're gonna run rough shot over my buccaneers, and I ain't afraid to say it. You know what? This will be my upset of the week. I'm gonna take the Bucks on this. Okay. I I I just think something in what happened last week. I... You know, the Packers are gonna wanna redeem and all that, but I just think that in the end, I think it... What's the line you'd just say again? Was Packers are giving three and a half. Actually, I think bucket... Bucks and Ears might actually win this. Alright. Might be by two, one or two or three. But if they win outright, they cover anyway. I know, but I'm still saying in the end, I still think Buckeys... Bucs might win this thing. So I'm gonna take them, obviously, take the points plus I think they'll win outright. Two out of our next three games have double digit, odds. Oh, boy. Titans go to M And T Bank Stadium. Ravens are giving them 11 and a half. It ain't enough. The Ravens are back from Rio, and they're after that performance, they're gonna be out to go. Give me Ravens plus 11 and a half. They might hit that 43 over over on their own in this game. You know, the titans are kapoot right now. They haven't won a game. And the ravens, especially, you know, coming home and all that and what happened. I still... The ravens are gonna win. But 11 and a half, I just think this will be one of those weird games where Baltimore will be glad that they won, and they might win by, like, 10 or even nine or eight. So I take the points on this. Ravens will win, but I'll I'll take the points with the Tennessee with the points. Cowboys go to Houston, Houston, Houston to play the Texans, giving them a point and a half. This is another one of those games that the only reason I'm picking this is because I gotta pick somebody. The cowboys will win this game. Give me cowboys minus one and a half, but this is gonna be gross football to watch as we wrap up the early set. Okay. This is gonna be one of the ugly games of the week. And, unfortunately, since it's the cowboys, we'll have to be stuck watching it for sure. They'll be they'll be playing it for sure during that time slot. Here's the thing. I said it a couple weeks ago. In the beginning, sometimes when the cowboys just fall flat, it it it starts a trend. And I think that this might be one where Houston actually wins their first game. It won't be pretty, but I still think how there's just that downward slope of the cowboys. They're starting off so bad like that one year they went, like, one and seven. I think this is gonna be the same thing where I think in the end, Texans win, but maybe two, but they win. Stroud's gonna have to run. Yeah. My doll... My beloved dolphins go to US Bank Stadium to play the vikings. This is your other double digit deal with Minnesota giving them 10 and a half. It ain't enough. The dolphins have not convinced me that they can win their way out of a paper bag right now. When... And the crazy thing to realize is going into this week, Malik Willis has the same amount of throwing yards to date that Justin Herbert does, which makes zero sense to me. Mhmm. And he's got less interceptions. It doesn't make any sense to me either, but I'm still not... I still think the Vikings run away with this game even as terribly as they played last week. I think they run away with this. Yeah. And and I I feel for you as a... You being the Dolphin fan, but I agree with a 100%. This will be a spanking. I hate to say it. No. It's okay. We get it. Also in the late set, Chiefs go to the autumn wind known as a radar. These teams are both undefeated. Casey's giving them four and a half. The Raiders will take their first loss. I've gotta ride with my last dance prediction, and the the broken clock has now been right three times a day. It doesn't hit four. You know what? I'm gonna be daring. I think Chiefs win. Since it's a Raiders game, I mean, the division game, in the end, I think the Raiders actually win this. I just think that Cinderella's... She hasn't gone home yet. The pumpkin hasn't been... The... There's there's still a carriage that has turned back to a pumpkin. She still has a glass slipper on at this point. So I'm taking actually Raiders to win outright. Broncos go to Levi's Stadium. This is... This could be the game of a week in my opinion. San Francisco giving two and a half at home. As much as I said on Tuesday night that the only two teams I believe in right now are Buffalo and San Francisco, I... Give me the broncos plus two and a half. This game is going to be the most entertaining game of the week. I agree with you, and I still think the probability is that broncos win this maybe by, like, two or three. It's gonna be, like you say, the barn burner of the week. So I I I take the broncos with the points gladly, but in the end, I still think they win it outright. Wrapping up the late set, chargers go to Seattle. Seattle's giving them a touchdown. Chargers are already chargering, and it's October. It ain't enough. The champs are gonna be angry, and they're gonna play angry. And I don't care that Drew Lock is behind center. They've got weapons. This will get ugly fast. Yeah. This I don't. I... Yeah. I... Charging, like you're saying, I still think they keep their unwinnable streak to four. And, again, seahawks are gonna want to keep this thing going and try to have a great record. Seahawks would just sing outright, and I take them with the line and everything. Sunday night football, the lions go to Bank Of America Stadium to play the panthers. Detroit's giving three and a half. I just... I don't trust the panthers. Less... I I don't trust the panthers more than I don't trust the lions. I would take Detroit minus three and a half, but it ain't... It... It'll it'll be within five. If the line was seven, I would take Carolina. But since, like, you said it's three and a half, I'd take Detroit on this. I mean, the panthers have got a couple of holes on defense, but I don't think it's gonna matter. Monday night football. Dear god. Falcon saints. Yes. It's in the NFC South division, but it's still the NFC South, The AL West of the NFL. New Orleans giving two and a half, which basically makes it a pick them. The saints are kind of on a roll. I don't... I think the falcons got lucky. I think the Saints do enough to win, and they'll win this by at least a field goal. I think that the Atlanta, how they have that huge upset, I think reality is gonna hit them. Yeah. I I I can't I can't take... I cannot take the falcon... I mean, falcons on the saints. I take the saints. Wanna let you know that if you are... If you're somebody that likes to have football watching parties with your friends, really consider and go to. Don't just consider. Make sure you tip your people well. Go to Dudley's. And we're gonna talk Dudley's a little bit more because they've got a special event coming up next week. And the deviled eggs. Always gotta talk about those deviled eggs. Yes, they do. Best on the planet. We talked about Don being distracted football wise. I am currently also being distracted wise as Atlanta is now in game three of the wildcard. Philly... We... Atlanta snakes went out in game one as Austin Riley launches one. And then game two, Philly does the same thing Atlanta did to them. And so now it's it's best of one. It's winner go home tonight. And Atlanta's hosted all three games because, you know, we won the division. So, right now, it looks like we're gonna get out of the top of the first, only giving up a hit. So we're in the middle of the first. But speaking of baseball, Don got to watch a little live baseball this weekend. So we're gonna go live to Grand Prairie, Texas so Don can talk about his adventures over the weekend. So I I I don't know if you ever heard of this thing called the Banana Bowl. I have heard of it. I have heard tell of it. Yes. Put it this way. When they made sixty minutes and they done a thing on this, it's... I understand why. I put a Facebook post on after the one saying, hey, we're here. We're having fun but I didn't know a thing where I really went into it where I said how you have a guy who takes a small team and he can make them a national, if not, world phenomenon. The man is a genius, and we got to meet the guy before we got a picture with him. It was incredible. Some of the different rules of baseball just real fast is if a foul ball goes into the stands and they catch it, the fans catch the ball without hitting the ground or anything or bounce up or anything, that that hitter's out. So it's not like it's, you know, foul ball out. Also, which one thing I love is their ball for, it's not a walk. It's a run to first base because... And the thing we noticed when three strikes, how all the outfielders people were running in close is because that guy could run until all the players on the defense touch the ball. Mhmm. Then they... You know what I'm saying? So they could keep running. So they have to, like, do it real fast. Their words exactly is no bunt. If you do, you're ejected because bunt stink. If a wild pitcher guys up the bat and a wild pitch goes past the catcher and everything like that, that guy could run to first base. Oh, yeah. It's not like you're balled. Yeah. I mean, that guy opens, you know, everybody runs. One thing is that they don't keep runs, keep per inning, and they keep adding them up and adding them up. It's you win a inning. Yeah. So... And so that means if you score one run and the other team scores two, they get one inning. They get that point for that inning. If nobody scores, it's a it's a push of zero. And so the thing is the team that has a home field avenge, and this was the tailgaters, the Texas tailgaters, is... Let's say the the banana the banana team, Savannah bananas, let's say they get no points at the top of the inning. And then... I mean, no runs. And then when, let's say, the tailgaters score one run with one run out... I mean, with one out and they get a, you know, like, a whole run or whatever, the inning ends because you already have one point, so there's not... You know, you already won the inning now. So let's go to the next thing. And it's a two hour time limit. At two hours, this is done. It's... No. No. It's a little more than two because no matter what happens at the one hour mark, they do stop for a halftime show. Yeah. And when they get inside those last couple of minutes, then it's played like straight baseball where all runs. But, basically, they they they have to clock down, say, in two hours. So the thing I love it, fan interaction. And if you wanna have concentration while playing baseball, this is not the game to go to. They have the PA. They have, like, they'll play twenty, thirty seconds of a hit song, something from the eighties, like tears for tears tears for a shout or your love from the outfield, Backstreet Boys. The PA, the the music's going constantly. And so... And then the... They even get to tell the crowd sing during the song. Like, hey, Dolly's up from nine to five. Everybody's singing nine to five. So the whole crowd is saying, they played at where the Texas... Global Life where the Texas Rangers play. Mhmm. They literally sold out their standing room. They do everywhere they go? Yeah. They... And they had three nights there. Mhmm. And there was such a waiting list. And the thing is when it's... Our two tickets were a total of, like, $80 with all fees included. You know? And so how they literally sell out this arena three nights in a row. If they've been there for a week, they would've sold out seven. If that thing had another 10,000 seats, they would sold those out. I mean, it's just a fun fan experience. They they... One of the coolest things is they have their own charities, and the banana team, some banana bananas, there... It's a foster thing where they, you know, try to encourage people to do foster care. And they had one team come, a family come out that's fostered over a 100 kids throughout their years. And they brought them out to the field between the innings. Both teams would have congratulated them, give them a big shout out, that kind of thing. The intros, and they'll come in and they will dance when they introduce and they'll play like a band. And when... On the, on the on the tailgaters team, one of the coolest things, the right fielder during the middle of the inning, it is the top of the third. He was the lead singer of the band when they came in. They put out the equipment, and the band was playing in left field during the middle of the inning. And he's playing outfield. And so guess what? He's playing outfield and singing with the band at the same time. Came up. He caught the ball while singing with the band. I mean, how many baseball games do you see a live band playing in left field in the middle of the inning? You know, you don't see stuff like that. They have, like, little child mascots for each team. They, like, dressed up in, like, banana stuff and everything, which is really cool. The coolest thing is the night is the umps mascot. It was this, like, three or four year old child who's basically like a make a wish child. Very ill. A lot of medical issues. You know, he's he's a fighter. He's surviving. And so they let him come up and take the hit. He hit the ball, and he starts running, and they're trying to have him show him. And, of course, the tailgaters get the ball and try to throw it the first place, overthrow it, you know, and they have to chase the ball after. And they're getting this kid to run around the bases, you know, three, four years old. And once he gets around third base, someone from the tailgaters gets the ball. He's about to, like, tag him, and the one that banana people just like like the cartoon thing just gives him the shoulder, the guy goes flat, you know, just like the acting. But, you know, let the kid get that home run. You know, that coolness for the family. I mean, it's... During the whole time, it's you... You're involved with it. Another thing, the third base ump was dancing a lot of times. At one point, he pulled up a chair and start eating popcorn while he's being an up. You know what I'm saying? Just like I'm gonna take a break. Oh, yeah. You're here. Just starts eating. You know? Whether umps when they're... He'd he'd... The first base ump, he would actually, like, do a flip when he says you're out on the, you know, like, the throw to first base wearing a ninja mask. The home plate ump, he would, like, juggle the balls and take it to the mound. Here's your balls. Well, he's juggling the whole time while taking the balls to the to the pitcher. One of wore wore, like, a muscle shirt and stuff like that. And they say the show starts at 06:30. They had a lot of crowd interaction. Like, they had players on the very top nosebleed sections throwing burgers onto the field and the guy's trying to catch up with the mini barbecue. So, I mean, it's just fun stuff like that. They had the the the bananas... The Savannah bananas, had male cheerleaders come like the Mavs men cheerleaders they had. Mhmm. They're during the intro, during the thing. Between the evenings, like, one time they had new dads with baby infants, like, one child that's one year or younger. They put the... They had to put their kids down, be on the other side of the row of, like, the little, like, tape line and have the kids crawl to them. And so it was like that contest of trying to get your input to crawl to you. Yeah. One child starts... Finally, the... Some are just sitting there at a time. One gets a lead, gets there, and starts about six inches short, seeing the dad, he just sits there, and then the one comes behind. You know what I'm saying? Just that kinda funness. The players do not sit in the dugout. During the play and stuff, they're sitting on the on the edge of the... On the playing field on, like, the, like, the foul area and stuff because they're interactive in the game. One guy played in the stilts, like, he batted while while playing, on stilts. The... Let's see. How they'll do trick catches and stuff like that. The outfielders and stuff, and they'll call, like, a a trick play where they'll, like, bounce it off their knee and then other player catches it, stuff like that. Dancing during the year... Evening. And the... Like, one of the umps, on the mascots or whatever, he literally had, like, a beer belt with a bunch of can of beers and stuff. And they start drinking or, like, the mascots had to be sitting there just, oh, let's take a break and start drinking while watching the game, you know, on the sidelines and stuff. Or they... Or the third base coach would actually be their mascots, like the the male cheerleaders, you know, and saying, oh, hey. Yeah. Just like it's... And another thing is yellow baseballs and yellow bases, which is kinda cool. The seven league stretch was the deep in the heart of Texas. And then also, if there's ever a foul ball, they will throw it to the crowd every time. Yep. It's just like the ball bag. He'll... They'll they'll throw it to the crowd, everything. It's an incredibly fun time. The fantastic faith for loved it. If they come back next year, of course, we'll try to get in and get tickets and everything like that. It's fun for the entire family and how people... They'll sell out a stadium every time they... Wherever they go, it's because of the price, the value, the entertainment. This is what other organizations, whether pro sports, baseball, football, soccer internationally. Look at what they're doing. You wanna do something inventive? Take a page from these people. It's like, have the people come and have fun at a good price for the entire family. Everybody gets involved. It's, you know, it makes you happy, sad with all the charity things. And with that little kid running and getting a home run, it hits you in the heart. You know, it's good people, good times. If you ever have a chance to go, go. Go. Go. Go. Cannot recommend recommend enough. I've been to two Super Bowls. I've been to three WrestleManias. This was one of the funnest live events ever I've gone to. I cannot have supported that. And Atlanta just went up three nothing at the bottom of one. Oh, boy. Okay. Great run shot. Here we go. You're hot. You're happy. Baby. Four the a. Well, great great report, Don. Yeah. It's gonna get cooler. So I'm very excited about that. Thank goodness on that. Let's get into TV talk. Stuff we watched this week, I don't... I was... I've been full throttle all week, so I really don't have anything out of the ordinary. What about you? Just two things. I have nothing on movie talk except for what will the new release. The one was the new thing I think on MGM is SWAT files. It's like a takeoff of the SWAT thing like the with some of... Yeah. First episode kinda... We'll see. Maybe. Who knows? And the other one I want is the season finale of a show that I have been watching for decades. One of the shows I've loved and that's the deadliest catch. They had the season finale and they called this show the deadliest catch, and on this episode, it lived up to its name, unfortunately. And I've been watching it for years. There was an incident, and this was the first episode ever where Mike Rowe never even commentated one bit. They did it all through like, you know, like, warding during a thing and interviews up with people and stuff. It was a tragic situation. That's but it's why they call it the deadliest catch but how they handled it very professionally, very respectfully. I was so impressed with this show on the situation that happened and how they handled it and showed it. It was one of the the... It was probably one of my favorite episodes of the series I've ever, and I've been watching it for over a decade. So I wanna give kudos to them on how... But, again, that's why they call it the deadliest catch, unfortunately. We have an RIP to do in the world of television this past week. We lost Dennis Haskins at the age of 75. You would probably know him best as principal Belding from Safe five Bell. He was America's principal, as Max said on his show this week. An absolute legend. I I know people that have met him at conventions and have said he was an absolute joy to talk to. Just another one of those things as this time is marching on because we've got a couple of pretty big ones to talk about a little bit later in the show. Getting into TV headlines starting with ABC, Disney plus Hulu, ESPN, Nat Geo. Don, do you remember a movie from 2020? You may have seen it. I don't remember. It was called the kid detective. Was about a guy who was like a... He... When he was a kid, he tried to be a detective, but now he's older, and he's now trying to solve a case that had been open since he was a kid. I don't think I saw it. Okay. Well, they're, they're gonna do a series based on it on the on the on the Hulu. Okay. So I've heard really good things. It's one of those that's always been on my list of movies to see, and I just never did. CBS BET Paramount plus is rebooting undercover boss with Drew Carey. With Drew Carey. He's gonna Oh, Drew's doing it this time. Okay. They're saying it's gonna be a little... And I think they're just calling it undercover, but it's a reboot of undercover boss. And BET has canceled the oval, one of their series after seven seasons. Never watched it. HBO Max, TBS, TNT, Discovery Plus, we have some new casting for season three of the last of us. Laura Bailey joins that cast as does Ian Alexander and John Goodman. Oh. Alexander and John Goodman would be... Are playing brothers that are involved in... That are in the game. So I don't know enough about it. Alex will probably be able to give us more, more depth on that. Oh, John Goodman, it's gonna be good. Oh, yeah. Yeah. NBC, Universal, Peacock, Univision. We are getting a Ted animated series. It's gonna kick off December 17. So I'm assuming that means that the prequel series is done, and now we're going to an animated series. And real fast, again, the last of us, that's when we always watch too. Yeah. So... Yeah. Yeah. John Goodman in this, I'm game. I'm looking forward to it. Go ahead. Prime video has renewed Reacher for season six to the surprise of absolutely no one, and they've also renewed the spin off Negley for a second season. So you got That one I never saw. But Recharm, I I have to probably get on that one. I'm getting from trying that one. Thing on TV, on DVD, and Blu ray this week, all the Chicago shows. Chicago Med season 11, Chicago PD season 13, and Chicago Fire season 14, all available to you on DVD this week. Sabrina, I watch When I was a kid, like, on the weekends, man, we watched a lot of Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers movies. I... And I always love what he said about her. He was like, yes. She did the exact same thing I did, but she did it backwards and in heels. You know? So I'm looking forward to that. We're gonna get a big screen Game of Thrones installment, Don. Really? 06/01/2029 is gonna be called Aegon's Quest, our first official theatrical Game of Thrones movie. So we'll just think about that? Why not? Okay. You know, as long as it doesn't suck. You know? How come... Why is HBO allowing that? Let's see. It's all your questions, Don. No. Never mind. Money. We talked a few weeks ago that, Danny McBride is writing and directing a GI Joe movie. Remember this? Okay. We have Duke cast for this movie, leader of the Joes. It's gonna be the Bradley Cooper. And he did he did some great military film... Films already. So... And allegedly, this is gonna be... The the plot line here is the Joe's will be on vacation, and they wind up on an island that they don't know is owned by Cobra. Oh, boy. It's already And Danny McBride, he could just have fun with movies. And I like it. Go ahead. Go ahead. I mean, look at some of the stuff he's done in movies. He loves everything from the comedy to this crazy to alien, everything like that, and something... I'm game on this. I'd be very interested to watch this. And just announced a little while ago while we were on air, we talked about a month ago during trailer talk about this Hot Wheels movie that John Cena's doing. Apparently now not getting a theatrical run done. This hits streaming next Friday. That's what the commercial said. And what's it going... What's it gonna be on? Did it say Apple TV and Prime Video. Now question, is there gonna be that fee or whatever to... Or do you have a subscription? Prime Video. If you if you have Amazon Prime, it... I don't think they're gonna charge you, but we'll find out next Friday. Because sometimes you go to On Prime to watch a movie and charge you three. Yeah. It depends on I don't know if I could do the same thing. You know what I'm saying? So Who knows? Movie new releases in places you get movie new releases. This week, we have the Tom Cruise highly anticipated digger. Friend of the show, Mark Walters, screened it, and he thought it was not that great. So And Tom Cruise trying to do something like that, different kind of role. We're gonna see give it a shot, but sometimes if it falls flat, it could fall flat. We also have Beware Balloonah. This is a horror film. Logan Marshall Green is in this. Yeah. No. Hard to ask. I'd be interested, baby. I don't know. Rolling Loud, the movie, which I told you guys a few weeks ago, is just basically a new version of Father's Day taking place at what... It's an actual rolling lot is an actual musical festival. WWE did SmackDown there once. Okay. So... And another new release this week that Don Don carried the load on review Friday this week as he saw the highly anticipated Dakota Johnson, Josh Hartnett, Anne Hathaway vehicle known as Verity. Talking to a friend of the show, Kat, she told me that she knew people that had read the book and that the book was not that great. You were fair to Midland on it, I think, Don. You could say that. Joseph Sawyer, you might also remember as Joe Gacy. And it just said s y x. So I don't know if more of them are coming or not, but I also read today that Sawyer got injured. Oh, I've read... Oh, wow. On TV show. But I think they'll still have them on because I think they're gonna actually be on impact tonight. Did you see that coming? No. I really didn't. Yeah. I I... They they brought it up. I mean, I had it spoiled for me on Facebook before I could watch it. It's like, oh, okay. That's what we're doing. Fair enough. I'm glad that you... I was hoping maybe Sammy Callahan, but... You know? Let's get the other stuff out of the way for WWE first. They've signed a multiyear agreement for content with Bleacher Report. It does not affect anything AEW's doing, so stop. Let's just do the programming and come back. Yeah. Yeah. Of course. Back to the handbook. That's fine. Raw, we did the Jada Parker thing, which actually intrigued me because I didn't know which way that was going. Because as we know at the end of Raw, she ends up back with the... With, Royce Keys, and she started with OTM when they were in NXT. So that kind of makes sense. But for people that are in the know, she may or may not be the lady friend of one Jay Uso. So that that booking I thought was interesting because that could have gone either way. And I'm gonna see how we deal with how the bloodline responds to that. Rumors are that we are preparing for the return of Naomi, so that could be the counter to that. So we're gonna see where that goes. Don, did you watch Raw? I didn't get to see it yet because I had the screening last night. And If you've gotta see some... Go check out, Javon Evans. He does a jump from the apron and almost winds up in the second row behind the announce table. Yeah. That... I... You have to see this. It's the spot of the weekend. It's not even close. I'd be... Even I rewinded. I was like, dear lord, the hops this kid has. So shout out to Jevon Evans. Let me ask you something, Don. Yeah. Go for it. We... As we know, evolve is a thing. You know what I mean? It's a thing. Given the the tendency of evolve to maybe not the biggest people on the roster size wise, something I was thinking about this week. Could Evolve benefit from bringing back the cruiserweight title? Why not? Just something I've been thinking about. Like Yeah. I think it would drum up because because you've got people like Carmen Petrovic, and then you've got some of the other people on NXT that maybe weren't Nikita Lyons that aren't getting utilized as much doing more work over there. I I feel like they could take... And they could do a women's cruiserweight title too of some form. They call it... I think they call it featherweight in, in MMA. Or no. MLW. They have a featherweight title, I think. I think it would benefit because they've got a lot of people that that qualify in that cruiserweight division in Evolve, and I think it would drum up some some interest. Why not do that? Bring it because then, you know, they could be in a promotion because they have a legit title and go back and forth between the two also and kinda bring people up as the champion. Because how originally how Kevin Owens was brought up as the NXT champion all that time when he first got the run-in. He was the NXT champion. And so why not do the same kind of thing? Plus, I I... You know, because Tripliaz got a triple cruiserweight champion, and he's, you know, for Phoenix doing what he wants to do. Exactly. I have issue with the company right now. What's that? Oh, no. It's here. This past weekend, we lost Rick Arckberger, who you may know as WWE sign guy. Mhmm. It has now been the better part of a week. Mhmm. No mention on Raw. No mention on NXT of him. The only mention of him I have seen, period, end of statement, was on a YouTube channel I follow called wrestling with regret. And so I'm gonna say shame on you, WWE. This was a guy that paid all of his own tickets, did all of it on his own, created his own thing, and carry... And was an ambassador for WWE for a long time. We knew the guy. He lives here. His story is amazing. The last time I saw him, we were at... We... It was a screening, but it was in passing. It was for the smashing machine. But before that, we saw him at an NWA event, and he wasn't he wasn't himself. Hindsight being what it is. Mhmm. His health was... His health declined a lot over the last couple of years. I've all... I've I've always had nothing but love for the guy. He is beloved by everyone. Now there were people like... Even h h h put up a social media post about it, which I respect, but put something on programming, man. The guy did more than he ever had to do to help promote your product, and you did nothing. Make me pick up for it on SmackDown tomorrow night. Do something. That's all I'm saying. If they don't, then it's really gonna be... Here... And I'll give it to h for doing that. Make it... You know, putting a post, you know, enough said on that. So I'll give personally to h on that. I've... I I I was... I've been Facebook friends with him for years. As have I. Seen him at so many wrestling events, whether it be even old MPX in Bedford Mhmm. At WrestleMania, at ROH. If there was any kind of pro wrestling thing around this area, TNA, he would be there. You know he would be there. Yeah. But he always had the thing with the WWE. And how... I remember there's one of those DVD videos on behind the scenes where they actually interview him for one thing. Mhmm. And he... You know, they... Rick Alcobaca and stuff, and then... And so that was kinda cool they did that for him. How, you know, they... They've had him on TV so many times, and they got to a point where they put him against camera side. Well, that was that was his choice. Was it? Okay. Because I know Absolutely his choice to be on camera side, not TV side for the last few years. Okay. But because know it kinda TV because you can't not have them. Yeah. I mean, he always had the signs, and he had the most innovative signs. And, you know, how he was on deal and no deal. Deal and no deal. Yep. And 100. Deal or no deal. And how there was, like, Washington showed up. And And Jordan Wharton. And Bobby Lashton was there too. Yeah. And how he said... But he got to say hi to him real quick. He didn't go back backstage and hang out with him and stuff, but still how WWE did that. You know, when they had wrestlers come in because he was on that show. Mhmm. He always And the nicest guy when I met him. And, you know, I heard that his wife passed, and that's that's how he took the wrestling up to kinda make make up for it and stuff, you know, fill that empty void. No. No. That's what she told him. Yeah. She said, I have a life insurance policy. Exactly. Go go pursue your love for this sport. Do that one. Yeah. And I never knew him to ever be rude to anybody. Never knew him to kinda say, yeah, whatever. He'd always say, oh, hello. Somebody come up, he'd say hi. You know? But how I got to really know him and, you know, it's a pleasure to, you know, kinda say I knew the guy. Mhmm. But how... And that surprises me how number one is how they did the deal and no deal and Triple H made a thing and everybody else, and they do it... They didn't do anything on any of the shows. That... And, again, I didn't see Raw yet, and that's why I didn't know if they did something. Yeah. They didn't or on NXT. They they did... I mean, I understand, you know, when wrestlers pass and they do it and they do a thing and all that or they make an announcement, sometimes it's not... It's quick. It might be here's a tribute or whatever or this person passed. You know, I'm not a full video thing. I understand that. But this guy and I understand that you can say, hey, if we do it for this guy or if there's other super fans that pass and we don't do it for them, I can understand maybe because he was a fan and they're kinda worried about making that new point. But this guy was the exception. Yeah. This guy was the exception. He's his own Come on. Own category. Yeah. Come on. I hate to say it. Yes. I'm mad at the company, and I did not know they didn't do a thing on Raw till right now. Yep. Because I was watching for it, brother. Yeah. Shame on you guys. We'll get to the other one here in a minute. Yeah. We'll deal with All Out Chicago next week when Alex is back on the show because he watched it. I didn't. Okay. They announced holiday bash will be December 23 at the WinTrust Arena in Chicago, where they just were. And World's End will be set for December 19 at the Target Center in Minneapolis. I'm gonna need you to let me drive here for a minute, Don. Go for it. The same day we lose sign guy, we lose Benjamin stat... Satterley, also known as Pac. It's bad enough. And I'm really gonna try to keep myself in check here. It's bad enough, WWE, that you didn't just man up and try to run Worlds Collide against All Out, which is what you should have done. Then you tell us you're not gonna air it till yesterday, and you're gonna spoil results on your shows. But hear me. Choosing to air Worlds Collide last night at the... An hour before dynamite when you knew what was coming, that's crappy business. It happened four days prior. You could have aired it at any point. You could have aired it Sunday evening when nothing was going on. But knowing knowing that dynamite was going to be an entire episode in memoriam for Benjamin Satterley and you counter program, You've pivoted with less less notice on other things, and it had already happened. You could've waited till tonight because you gave it all away anyway. I'm... I didn't watch worlds collide. I was prepared on Monday to watch it because I figured it happened Saturday night. Oh, no. We're not airing until Wednesday. Four days later? No. And then some cool stuff happened, but I don't care. You should have stayed out of the way. I appreciate that you put something about him at the front of programming. I respect that. I give credit where credit's due. But when you try to counter program, probably one of the best episodes of any form of professional wrestling I have watched in years. Not cool. And I won't watch it. I won't watch Worlds Clyde. That was a bad decision because, Lou, we just lost another member of that roster two weeks ago. We just had the whole rebel heart thing, which was wonderful. Mhmm. And then I get a text from Alex that's just a picture. And where I was at the time, I couldn't look at it. So I was like, he's probably sending me a meme or something. And then I got home, and I saw it. And just like when I heard about Rick, I I immediately went to Google Chrome and verified it. Not that I don't trust Alex, but anything like that, I've gotta verify. Mhmm. It it hit me like a ton of bricks. Watching dynamite, I have seen some serious memorial episodes in my time more than I care to care to count. Mhmm. Even from AEW. This was the hardest. I didn't watch it till today. I haven't got to it. I I was I was sitting in engineering for YDC last night. And so on my way home, LA called me, and we talked all the way home from from Reiner's. And we just... I'm like, I'm not ready to watch this yet. I I don't... I'm not ready. And I texted Alex. I said, I'm not ready, dude. And he said the opening fifteen minutes alone. And he was right. Wardlow return with the Don Callis family, which I'm sure was the booking. And I didn't have a problem with it because on a certain level, you've gotta keep things moving. But you could tell. Like, I would put this, Don, on par with watching guys try to work the night after Owen. Yeah. Your opening match was Moxley, Orange Cassidy. I just wanna say, god bless you, Jon Moxley, because they play a promo that he cut after World End. That was beautiful. It was absolute art. And then he did commentary for the main event. And his commentary was just it was spot on. And what was the main event if you don't mind asking? It was Death Riders versus Don Callisman. Okay. At... Right after Jon Moxley's match in the opening, right at the Valkyries hit and Brian Danielson came out. Oh, wow. And they just kinda stared each other down, and then they just hugged. And that place went insane. Because Danielson and, I think, the time, Neville at the time Mhmm. They had some Well, remember, they were in the Death Riders. Yes. You know? Even before... Even in WWE. You know what I'm saying? I think they were both at the And... Yeah. And right before the main event started, the death riders, they did their their huddle thing, and they put a chair in the middle, and they put the the Pac memorial towel over it. Well, because of that, they were they were outnumbered. Ryan Danielson suited up and was in the back. I I marked out like a child. And some amazing tributes from people, whether it's Hangman Adam Page or Swerv Strickland or the new level, Everybody's everybody just again to see the human side of these people and hear them tell stories about like the guy you see on TV is like the exact opposite of who he is backstage. You mentioned his dog and he just lights up. Talk about dance hall music. Excalibur does the opening salvo, and then he goes to the ring and Tony Schiavone has his his words. Darby Allen tells a great story. But I'm gonna tell you now, Don, nothing. Oh, Ricochet and Osprey had a match, And you could tell, like, both of them were very close to him. Mhmm. And they hugged both at the beginning and the end of the match. I'm not going to spoil this for you, Don, because I want you to see it. Okay. First of all, thank you, Hulu, for putting the extra time in there because if I'd have lost the ending and I had to go watch it on HBO Max, that would've been matter in a wet hand. The tribute video at the end of dynamite. My notes that I have on my screen right now says I I can't think of a main event that made me more proud to be a fan of this sport, much less as it's doing right now. Yeah. Almost brought me to open weeping. This is how you do tributes. AW does it right. I don't care who you are. I don't care who your mom and them is. I don't care where you come from. And I've I've touted this next statement, and I'll yell it from the mountaintops. Tribalism in our sport has to stop. I don't care if you like one product and don't like the other. You have that right. But it does no one any good for you to get on social media and tear down the other product. And if you if you if you have any negative opinions on what they did last night, on what Dynamite did, get help. Because the tribute video on the end, Don, it wrecked me. Yeah. The very last thing you see before they go back live. If you don't catch it when you watch it, ask me, and I'll tell you. Okay. I don't I don't think you'll miss it. Okay. It broke me. And, again, I've watched so many of these memorial shows more than I ever wanted to, more than I ever want to going forward, but I know there's a circle of life. And the older I get, the more of these I'm gonna see. Thank you, AEW. That dynamite. It... Although it hit me like a ton of bricks, it was the best ton of bricks I could be hit by. Tony Khan, you have you... You've always a lot of respect. He... He's always had my respect. But last night was two and a half hours of some of the best television I've watched in years. It made me... Like, I don't hide the fact that I'm a fan of our sport. I never had. And I tell people, judge me if you want to. I don't care. Watch this since I was knee high to a grasshopper.
