The Viktor Wilt Show daily recap! If you miss the show weekdays from 6A-10A MST, you've come to the right place.
Speaker 1: Well, hello all and welcome to Monday boo. Had one of those weekends where it didn't really feel like I had a weekend. That can be frustrating. But it was good. You know, went out to the Idaho Falls Farmers Market Saturday morning. Hung out there for four hours or so and gathered donations for the Idaho Food Bank. Thank you to everybody who stopped by and donated.
Greatly appreciated. I hope you enjoyed your tickets to the zoo or the museum of Idaho. Glad to uh give people some fun stuff to do. Then I went and hung out at Becca's work customer appreciation night. Got to hang out with my homies from Stiff Richard.
It was good to see JD and those guys. And then uh all of a sudden it's Sunday evening, and I'm like, oh great, I gotta go to work in the morning. Fantastic. But at least got a three-day weekend ahead. I hope you do as well. Uh so hopefully the week goes by fast and is a nice one. I think it's going. I think it's gonna be cool this week. Chilly out there this morning. That was like 40 or so.
Had to throw a hoodie on. Okay, I was wrong. Today's gonna be warm.
I have about 83. Uh, we do have the next few days in the upper 70s, then we're back to cooking on the weekend. Uh, looking like a good weekend for me to hunker down and uh commit to the plan. Yeah. So can't wait for that. In the meantime, I guess 10 billion things to do around here. Peaches is out this week, so probably get a little bit more done than usual. Because Peaches won't be stopping by letting me know about every email I got and things like that.
Just playing Peaches. Anyhow, let's get this party started. Uh, like I said, I got a lot to do. Reading a thread here about video games. Cause wouldn't it be nice to just be home playing video games?
Yeah. Nah, I'd probably instead take a nap. But somebody asked online, hey, if uh you woke up in the body of the last video game character you played as.
How awesome or screwed is your life. Uh, last video game character I played as would be. Um of course I was playing Red Dead 2. John Marston. That's who I was playing as last. I'm gonna go with uh My Life is screwed. That's that's what it would be for me playing as John Marston.
Alright. You know, still all pumped up for GTA 6. Lots and lots of chatter going on online about the new features and things like that. I think what I need to do is finish 100%ing Red Dead 2 and do a run through of GTA 5 by the time GTA 6 comes out. But I should actually probably clean my house up by the time GTA 6 comes out. Need to get that garage all emptied out. I don't even want to think about cleaning the house at this hour on a Monday.
It's too much to think about. Let's deal with it throughout the week. But it would be nice to get it in a uh decent state for the weekend, so I don't feel guilty about doing absolutely nothing on the three-day weekend. That's my plan. Okay, let's see. Who are other people uh waking up as?
Oh, somebody else. I won't say what game, but they said they're going to die of tuberculosis. I know what game that is. Many of you do as well.
Alright, let's see. They're gonna wake up as Henry of Skelet in the year 1400 something. This is not a good thing. What's I don't know what game that is. Can't tell. Uh, Engineer from Factorio.
The factory must grow. Never heard of that game. Uh, let's see here. They're the cat in stray. Stray's one of those games I've always wanted to pick up and never really think to do so. Oh well. Don't need to be buying more stuff, that's for sure. Ugh. Should probably uh take a look at some bills that need paid. More crap I don't want to think about on a Monday morning. Sorry, I'm talking I'm just thinking out loud and this stuff comes out of my face. Cause that might start stressing you out too. Thinking about chores, thinking about bills.
Hey everybody, it's Monday. Yeah. Alright. You you probably got some fun weekend plans ahead though.
Doing some camping or something like that. Well. Baldur's Gate 3. I've never played that. Uh Luigi. Uh. I suppose your world could be good or bad if you're Luigi.
He tends to be the one that gets uh bullied and picked on in the Mario games. Huh? Alright. Joel Miller, Last of Us.
I Gonna go with. I mean, most games you're pretty much screwed as the main character, right? What games are are you not? I don't know.
I guess if you're playing some kind of a like Jeopardy and you win, there's no chance of death. Alright. I gotta take some uh some ibuprofen people. My freaking arms hurt for some reason.
Ugh, just achy. Better not be anything other than who knows. I lifted up something heavy or something. I don't know.
Tired oh, waking up early. Yeah, to go to that job you don't like, get a new job. Go to higher east idaho.com. Yeah, you looking for a flexible part-time job where you can put your Spanish and English skills to work. Well, you need to check out our Higher East Idaho job of the week, a bilingual customer service position with Melaluca in Idaho Falls.
You'll be helping out North American customers in both English and Spanish, answering incoming calls, placing orders, and helping customers find solutions to their questions or concerns. So flexible schedule, about 20 hours per month, typically three to four days toward the end of each month. So could be a little uh part-time thing to do on top of what you currently do. And if you want to get the information you want to apply, or check out tons of other job listings, just get over to the fully redesigned and revamped higher ease idaho.com.
Yeah, go get that job you've been dreaming of. Got a 100% proof of alien life, according to the Daily Mail. Um, this is a picture I've seen before. It was released as part of the UFO files that the government started dumping a few months ago.
It's a picture taken on the moon, and in the background, you can you know faintly see a shape. And this guy, Scott Waring, says, This is a hundred percent proof. Um or it could just be, you know, dust.
I don't know. I don't see anybody else saying this is a hundred percent proof. There's no evidence that it's a spacecraft. You know, it's just a a shape. And uh there's only one picture of it. So I I'm not convinced.
Alright. I want to see 4K video. The government has said they have it. Get it out there to us. Every time one of these stories pops up, 100% proof of alien life.
Like, alright, let's have a look. Okay, not impressed. Ugh boy, you wouldn't have thought that the release of the government UFO files would be so boring. That one was a big dud of a distraction, wasn't it? Well, what do you do?
Wait around and hey! You know, they they like distractions around election time. So we got the elections coming up in November. Maybe we'll get some really good UFO stuff by then.
We'll see. Ah, man, is it only only this time? Oh well, it's Monday. We're gonna crush it. It's gonna be over before we know it.
Stay positive, people. Well, looks like people are getting a little hard up for cash. Seeing an increase in theft stories, and they're getting weirder.
Now, the first one I saw this morning. It's like, okay, somebody stole a beer truck. Okay, filled with beer, and Paps Blue Ribbon. Wants them to return the 50,000 cans of PBR.
So they're like, just bring it by. We won't say anything, no questions asked. Hmm. I don't know. I have a feeling somebody's gonna ask some questions. If PBR don't, I would imagine the police will. But a beer truck, we've we've heard of beer trucks being stolen before.
So that one's not that strange. This one is um a gang in uh Cairo, Egypt. Six member armed gang pulled off a dramatic highway robbery. They pulled a pickup truck to the back of a moving refrigerated truck. Alright, they get right up on it, climb up onto the hood of their truck, get into the back of the moving refrigerated truck, and steal 300 pounds of frozen chicken. Now, people in the comments were trying to figure out, okay, let's say you sell the chicken, you know, these guys are looking at making like 30 bucks a piece. Maybe they just wanted the chicken.
Maybe they were just hungry. You know. I don't know what the price of chicken currently is, but I know that everything doesn't seem cheap, so price of chicken probably sucks.
I haven't bought any in a while. Uh plus at the end of this, uh, three of these dudes ended up uh in a shootoff with the authorities and uh three gang members dead, three arrested over frozen chicken. Um they ain't got ramen over there. Maybe get sick of ramen. I mean, I did. It's been a long time since I ate any ramen when you've uh lived off of ramen for a while. It is not so good. Like whenever anybody wants to go to the ramen restaurant, I'm like, ramen restaurant, are you guys crazy?
Yes, it's better than the little package you buy at the store, but still it's ramen. So, uh, hope everybody's doing alright out there. I know, I know. Times are tough, things are expensive. Uh, watch tubi, you know, free TV.
I don't know. So, generally for me, waking up is a little bit annoying. I I tend to always want just a little more sleep, and then that irritating alarm clock just eventually forces me. Okay, I'll get up. I'm fine. Ah. But the sound of the alarm clock is not the worst way to wake up.
This way would be one of them. Uh, this woman woke up, and she thought she was having a dream that there was a mouse in her mouth. Um, it was a bat trying to crawl into her mouth. So she wakes up, feels this fuzzy thing, just trying to dig its way into her mouth, starts screaming, it starts flying around the room, and I don't know if she googled what to do if a bat gets in your house, but they're like, Yeah, try to catch it so you can take it and get it tested for rabies. So she got a bucket, trapped the animal, contacted a friend who is an infectious disease uh doctor, who urged her to get to the hospital immediately.
Uh, so she did head over. And they said uh people who wake up in a room with a bat should assume they may have been exposed because bat teeth are small, bites can go unnoticed. So if you wake up in a room that has a bat flying around in it, you should assume the worst, get to the doctor immediately. Um, no word on if this bat did test positive for rabies, but what an unpleasant way to wake up. Well, I mean, I woke up today and it's like oh, kind of achy.
Back hurts, tired. No bats, though. No bats. I mean, even the cats don't try like crawling into my mouth, thankfully.
Wake up with anything trying to crawl into your mouth. That is just a horrific way to kick off your week. So hope your day didn't start that way. I hope it's going great, and I hope it goes by quickly, because it is Monday. Alright. Coming up, freak news and all that good stuff. So don't you go anywhere.
Alright, where to begin here? Oh, these cookies sound delicious. They're apparently turning plastic bottles into vanilla flavored cookies.
Um that doesn't sound good. Yeah, apparently, scientists have turned PET plastic into protein-rich vanilla flavored cookies. Uh it's I guess edible. Um it just doesn't sound like it should be. No matter what they do to make it edible.
Let's see. They said it's more complicated than simply melting down a water bottle and adding it to cookie dough. It's a 32-step process that uses microorganisms to break down plastic and agricultural waste, and only then will the resulting material be can converted to food components. Um it something about turning plastic into food.
It I don't know, just something like one of those weird things you'd see in the fallout show and go, wish we'd or I'm glad we don't have to eat like that. Well, know where it is to when these are coming to stores near you. But hey, we do need to figure out what to do about the plastic.
Maybe this will lead toward them being able to clean up that Pacific garbage patch. Disgusting. Alright.
Oh, let's see. I think we talked about this Bigfoot sighting in New York a week or two ago. Somebody got photos of what they're like claiming is Bigfoot. But after a little bit of investigation, the authorities are like, nah, I'm pretty sure that that is just an elderly overweight skinny dipper.
And uh, that's what it looks like to me. Uh thankfully there is a leaf in front of the man's groin. Too early to be looking at that, but that does appear to be a man. I thought Bigfoot was covered in hair. Um, that is a pale man standing in water that's probably infected with some type of uh bacteria or flesh eating, you know, parasites.
Not a good time to be going s skinny dipping in natural waters, people. Alright. What else do I have here? Man who duped tourists with a fake Greek amphitheater. Alright.
Um of the eight trip advisor reviews of the amphitheater near Arku. I don't know how you say that. Anyway, it's in northern Italy. Uh, all of them gave a five-star review.
They're like one of the coolest places I've ever been, one of the most unique places on the planet. Um but I guess what did the guy just build it? Yeah, he had. He built it from scratch and claimed it was an ancient site. Hey, you know, why don't they have more pictures of it?
I want to see what it looks like. You know, he made it look old. Did all you know, he's got these like fake photos and things like that. Looks like he gotta go through a giant uh metal door that looks like a tunnel. I mean, are they gonna charge him with a crime? I guess, because it's some some kind of fraud, but have they called his scheme diabolical and terrible. I I don't know. What am I missing here? Did he steal the materials to uh to build it?
I mean, it's not nice to dupe people, but geez, with all the problems we have in the world. Seems kind of minor to me. And now I kind of want to go check the place out. If you know, it's got five-star reviews, it must be pretty awesome. Well, I don't think trip to Italy's in the budget anytime soon. Still gotta figure out how I'm gonna afford to go to Phoenix here in a couple months. Ugh.
Oh well, long as I can uh build up the PTO necessary to do that. Gotta gotta be at the daughter's wedding. Can't really, you know, just go, eh, uh I can't make it. I don't have the dough.
So, yeah, wish me luck on that. I think this guy should have asked himself, what would Jesus do? Before he just elbowed an elderly man in the face. Now, the reason I say he should have been the guy to go, what would Jesus do? Is because this man is a pastor.
I guess he's a Florida man pastor. They might operate a little bit differently down there. So anyhow, I guess they were out at a park. You know, it's the middle of the afternoon.
It's like 1 30 p.m. And he got into an argument about parenting. And then uh, yeah, I guess just starts yelling at this other guy, and then just elbows him right in the face.
And uh, the man's sister declined to provide a statement and said, her brother provoked the incident with his big mouth and deserved what happened. Jeez. Um, so let's see. Do they have video?
Yeah, of course, because there are cameras everywhere nowadays. Uh, so you can see him speaking to each other and then just bam! Just hits him right in the face.
And the elbow to the face does not feel good. So, um, I can't repeat the conversation they had. Yeah, a typical type of wording that is used in arguments, uh, profane language that is inappropriate on FCC monitored radio stations. Gotta gotta just look it up on the news, I guess. Cable news, and then you can you're gonna hear it, but uh is he s did he go to church yesterday? Give a sermon on maybe turning the other cheek, huh? Not smashing a cheek with an elbow. He looks kind of sad in his mug shot.
I guess he's repenting right now. Yeah, don't do that, okay? Conflict, physical violence.
It's not ever gonna be worth it. Plus, you you elbow somebody in the head, you could kill them. All right. People die from simple, um fights all the time. But people just seem to forget about that, and oh, I gotta act tough, gonna.
Gotta act like a bear. Yeah. Not an argument over parenting, not worth somebody dying over. Geez, but as far as I know, the the other guy's okay. And the guy was old too, over 65 anyway, because that was the charge. Battery on a person 65 years of age or older. Ah. Well, Florida looking out for their old people, at least. We'll be back. Well, if you're having any kind of physical problems, I recommend you visit a doctor to you know get advice and treatment on whatever issues you might be facing.
Not best to take it into your own hands sometimes, like this guy did. Oh, where was he at? I Well, the article doesn't really say. Well, anyhow, this guy was having a problem with incontinence or trouble controlling his bladder for about a month. Well, he decided to do a bit of a home remedy. Um, and well, it I mean it it stopped him from being unable to control his bladder. Uh, it stopped it from working, period.
He went to the doctor and they were shocked to find that the cause was a the fix he tried to implement on his own. That would be uh super glue. Um yeah, super glued it shut, and then he got in a lot of pain. So they had to uh remove a 10 centimeter rod-shaped solid block of glue. And uh, you know, doctors who cared for the guy said, Oh, this this type of stuff happens all the time.
It's just usually not glue, it's other things like tweezers or wires or pencils, fish hooks. What is wrong with people? Yeah, I mean, usually people aren't trying to fix a medical problem when they do this, they're doing it for other reasons, but still I don't I just don't get it.
Uh that's it sounds extremely painful. So um they they they managed to get the guy fixed up, and I I think now he's on some type of uh a medication or something to prevent that. And they also took his glue away. No, I don't know if they took the glue away, but they uh they should have.
Six weeks of healing. Uh yeah, like just don't do that, okay? The minute you're having problems, just go see the doctor. Don't just put things off. Don't be a dude.
Like, oh, I'll get better eventually. Give me the gorilla glue. I've I can fix this. Yikes.
Alright. If you're waking up and you're not dealing with that, you're having a decent morning. Uh speaking of dead stuff.
If you were listening to traffic school on Friday, powered by the advocates, we got into a lot of uh strange discussion. You know, talking about people possessing bones and human remains. There was a new law that went into place that I guess you can't do that, can't have human bones. Uh, I don't know if that's the case in Wisconsin, but they uh did they arrest the guy? They were investigating him for stalking, so I guess they went to Benjamin Larson's house and you know, just kind of started looking around. They found a padlocked plywood room containing a bed and walls covered with multiple framed images of uh naked women, skulls and skeletons.
The shelves in the room held five human skulls and a partial skull, along with two large bones in the shape of a cross. Um so yeah, then they decided let's keep looking around and uh they found a shrine or multiple shrines built to different nationally known serial killers, including Ed Gean. They found a fully mummified body. Uh listed as an Egyptian mummy based on its description card next to it.
Uh complete set of human remains in a coffin with a glass display over it. And he said that was passed down to me by my grandfather who was a doctor. Um they interviewed the guy's mom, and she's like, I don't know how he would have got these bones. I don't know what he's talking about. So he hasn't been charged in connection with the human remains. He did get charged for stalking and is currently free on bail, but yeah, I don't know. If grandpa's got you know literal skeletons in the closet.
Might want to call somebody to get things checked out. You know, shrines to serial killers. Um it should be concerning for a family member. But maybe this guy was a real stay-at-home. No, I I guess I would assume so. Don't tend to have a lot of guests, I'd imagine when your home is decorated that way. I mean, I decorate kind of strange, but not literal haunted house style with the actual dead bodies.
So if we get any updates on that, I'll let you know. But I would not try doing that around here. You know, if you've been passed down a mummy from somebody, might want to contact well, the authorities or the Museum of Idaho or something.
Maybe you could donate it and avoid some jail time. Okay, I'm gonna keep digging here. Um And I'm not like that guy's kind of digging, because I would assume he probably did a little bit of grave robbing, right?
You don't just order up a skull on Amazon. Hey, you want to win some tickets to a killer live show? We got you hooked up all week with chances to win tickets to see Seven Dust and Theory of a Dead Man at the Mountain America Center.

Might win tickets to the Gym State Classic Pro Rodeo, the bull riding championships, Western Truck and Tractor Pulls, Gabriel Gabriel Iglesias.

You can enter once in each of those for each contest. And I'll be ready to blow up the phones later this week and took a couple tickets. So get on it.
And uh good luck. Well, looks like bad wolves. Been having a couple bad weeks. Lots of drama going on in the bad wolves camp. You know, I don't even remember what kicked off. Okay, okay, it was the band got kicked off the skillet tour.
Uh, due to I don't even remember. There was a lot of fan speculation online, and I never got down to the truth of what really happened. Fans were uh accusing the new vocalist of Bad Wolves of having an OnlyFans account. I don't know if that was true.
They also accused her of some other things that I don't believe were true. But they they got the boot off the skillet tour. And then uh the new front woman, she stuck up for herself with a with a little video, and it seemed like, all right, you know, they're getting a lot of press out of it.
You know, no such thing as bad press, right? So they they leave the uh skillet to her, and then Dolly Parton passed away, and the band's label announced we're going to release Bad World Bad Wolves cover of Dolly Parton's Jolene, a track she was originally gonna have uh vocals on as well. Yeah, they were gonna have the actual Dolly Parton sing on the track, kind of like what happened with uh the cranberry's cover, um, you know, many years ago.
So I guess that at least one member of the band did not want to put this song out because they felt like you know, it was capitalizing on the death of Dolly Parton, where she just barely passed away. So Bad Wolves guitarist AJ Rabolo announcing he's leaving the band. So he's out. You know, I missed the news when the other guy, the other front man left, not Tommy Vexed, you know, the the other guy. Uh what was his name? I don't know. It's Monday.
Cut me some slack, and the article in front of me doesn't mention him. But so I guess they're on the hunt now for a new guitarist, and um I don't know what's gonna go on with any kind of upcoming shows or anything like that where they did get the boot from the skillet to her. So based on the past few weeks, bad wolves popping up in the news left and right. We'll probably hear something new this week. The Joe Lean track did drop today. I listened to it, it was pretty good.
You know, heavier version of uh Jolene. It's short. I'll have to get a copy of it. Doesn't appear that they have sent that out to radio or anything like that, but you can find it, you know, where you find music.
And I'm I will get a copy soon so I can play it for you. But uh bad days for bad wolves. Hopefully, you know, things start getting better for them. You know, most of the guys in that band I've met were nice, but I don't know how many of them are left in the band.
Oh well, I'm pretty decent over here, anyhow. I mean, geez, morning show's almost done. I ain't complaining, need to get through this day, and watch out for bears. Okay, how many bear stories are we gonna have every week? Bear attacks and encounters continuing to rise. So there's a website called Bear Wise, which uh bear biologist started back in 2018, grew into a national program of the Association of Fish and Wildlife, and you can get a lot of information there on bears and how to avoid getting killed by bears, all right. And you know, they go on to say, like, you need to be concerned about all kinds of bears. Most people think, oh, a black bear, they're just nice.
You know, they ain't gonna hurt you. They could you see a black bear huffing and puffing or clacking its jaws, growling. Um yeah, what you actually need to do is stand your ground, be horrifying, make sure to pack bear spray, because yeah, if you see a defensive bear, you're not supposed to run, you're supposed to uh just hold your ground, and then if it does make contact, just play dead and cover your head until it goes away. Um again, bear spray, bear spray. Now, if it does start coming at you and you don't have bear spray, if you can get some rocks or something, hopefully you're able to yell real loud.
You might be able to get it to uh to take off. If it's a grizzly, you know, probably a real bad situation. But all bears, all bears might mess you up. I think all the attacks they've been having in Japan were from uh black bears. So yeah, if you you see one, just if you can get away, back away gently. But if it starts you know coming at you, you gotta stare it in the eyes.
That's horrifying. Um, I don't think we have to deal with this too much right in the middle of say Idaho Falls or Pocatello or Rexburg, those of you in Driggs, you know, Victor, some of these more uh you know, wild areas, rural areas, maybe so. Keep your you know, garbage put away, don't leave pet food outside. They even said to uh keep your barbecue grill clean, because nothing doesn't smell better to a bear, I guess, than you know, charred chunks of ground beef. Uh plus, Plus, you know, we're in a drought right now, so uh bears are having to go into areas with people to find food. So we could have bears wandering around in town. I don't want to see anybody get attacked by a bear. Does not sound like a good time. So just reminding you, get that bear spray. We're heading into the time of year where they're trying to feast as much as possible to get ready to hibernate.
Do not go in the woods without bear spray. Alright. And uh, let's see here. Oh, you should listen to this next little promo. Um, because I got about 15 minutes left of the show.
So listen to it. I'm gonna take off for a few. Be back at noon for the noon hour of madness in mayhem.
Peaches is out today, so I'm not sure who I'll be doing that show with, but we'll figure it out. Work on some other crap in the meantime. Um, you know, I order more DoorDash than I probably should. It's expensive. I tend to order it late, you know, just because I don't want to go anywhere. You have like two options of what you can get at that kind of hour.
And then because it's late, tend to get the food, and I'm tired, and then I don't end up eating it all anyway. Well, at least it's not being delivered by naked people, as far as I'm aware. Um, I guess in Houston, uh naked DoorDash driver got caught on a ring cam.
You would think if you were walking up to a door naked and saw the camera, you'd go, hmm, maybe I'll uh leave now. Ah, but I gotta drop off this food. No word as to whether or not the food had been uh tampered with, but if a naked person delivers it, you're probably gonna want to go ahead and uh send in a complaint to DoorDash. Um, he's been now uh banned from the platform, so Uber Eats, you better be watching out for this guy.
Ugh. I mean, he didn't appear to be threatening or anything, he's just naked. Might have been a hot night in Houston. Alright, well, guess we're doing pretty good. Nobody naked wandering the halls here yet. We'll see what happens uh before noon, though. I'll I'll fill you in if that changes. I'm gonna leave. I shall return, but I'm gonna be sitting in here doing it live. So, well, I'm not gonna jump on air and talk unless maybe I give away some seven dust or theory of a dead man tickets.
I'd keep listening for those back-to-back tracks because I'm working in the studio. It's the noon hour of madness and mayhem. I'm Victor, and I'm flying solo again. Uh, it's very quiet around the office today.
Got no jade, got no peaches. I think Josh is still out on some type of errand. And I'm too lazy to wander all the way down to the hall uh to Jeff and too stupid to just call him on the phone. So do my best hook you up with a little bit of madness in mayhem today.
Alright. If you were listening to the morning show earlier, I talk about bear attacks. What is going on with people in bears?
All right. I know in Japan there's just a lot of bears, apparently, but there are some real dumb people out there who've apparently never seen the movie Grizzly Man. Have you seen that movie? About the guy who goes to live with the grizzly bears. I if you haven't seen it, you should watch it.
And I won't spoil the ending, but I bet you can guess the ending. There was no grizzly man part two. Um, yeah, you've got these uh live these live streamers, and they're just hanging out in the wilderness of Alaska, as I talked about on the morning show earlier. Right now, bears are trying to uh eat and get themselves all fattened up for the winter hibernation.
So, what better time to go hang out in the middle of the woods with the grizzly bears than right now. Um what's the name of this? Oh, well, it was posted under the subreddit live stream fail. There's a grizzly bear right behind these people, right? You see the idiots and Yellowstone with the bison. This grizzly bear comes running toward them. Luckily, he must have spotted a fish in this stream that they're sitting next to. But this is a big grizzly bear. Big grizzly bear. And they're just out there filming away.
Just here we go. And the guy's like, hey, I've you know, oh no, this wasn't him. They were talking more about grizzly man.
Um listen, uh sometimes you shouldn't do everything you can for clicks, okay? If it involves an animal that could rip you to pieces, I have seen a grizzly bear eating a deer in the wild in Yellowstone, and it was scary. I was really far away, too. And the sheer power. I mean, you just try to imagine.
Go. What's that movie with uh Leonardo DiCaprio where he gets attacked by a bear? I should know the revenant. Go watch that. And then, you know, kick back for a few and decide. Should I go out to the woods? Maybe you know, bring some rotting meat with me and berries, and let's just uh see if we can get a grizzly bear on camera. Every time I think the world's not getting any dumber.
I come in on a Monday and fire up the internet and see what happened over the weekend. So, yeah, as far as I know, they're fine now. For now, but what do you think the chances are within the next few weeks or months? I'm gonna be talking about these people again with an R.I.P. message. Yeah, don't do that. Okay, continuing on with tales of stupid people. Um this guy did not get attacked by a bear or anything, but uh, he is in jail.
Do people not know that there are cameras everywhere? Okay, I'm watching the video of this guy. Let me uh give you my best description of him.
All right, this is a large man, large around, and uh he runs up to a fence, he's shirtless, and he threw a package of drugs with a street value of about $15,000 into an English prison, and then he just goes on and struts down the road, shirtless. Looks like he's in his tidy whiteies, um, and he's picked up by just multiple cameras, multiple angles, and yes, uh, what's his name here? Josh Smith!
Josh Smith spending a little time in the lockup. Uh, no fixed address, according to the article. Well, now his fixed address is pretty easy to find.
Would I would imagine they put him in the same jail he was chucking the drugs into? You know, that makes it pretty easy. Come on in, dude. Just walk on in. Here you go. So yeah. Trying to provide people in prison with drugs is a bad idea.
Uh you're gonna get yourself in in a lot of trouble. Because again, there's cameras, especially outside of jails. Well, just because it's the UK doesn't mean they're not trying to keep an eye out.
Make sure nobody's trying to go in or out. Seems like a place most likely to have cameras would be a jail, but well, this Josh Smith right here of the UK, he's what we call a puddin head, he's dumb. So, well, they got him. Basically, I think just dragged him in the front door. Have you ever tried to hold a dog on a leash?
Yeah, it's a fairly common activity. You know, if you know someone with a dog or have one of your own, got him on that leash, and sometimes, you know, they've they're strong. Our little dog Millie, she she doesn't look very big, right? She's a burn doodle. I don't know what she weighs.
I should remember, but it's not a lot, okay? She's equal to like two, maybe three cats. All right, she's pretty small.
She's a mini. Well, I've had her on the leash before, and she has like some real power that'll come out of nowhere. Who on earth is taking a lion out on the streets of Indiana? Oh, it's a lioness, excuse me. 300-pound lion in a harness out on the streets. Guess what? The person who is attached to the harness.
Well, who knows where they are? But the mountain lion, or it's not a mountain lion, it's an actual lion. It's a lioness.
Uh, and it's cub. Well, they're just uh on the loose, roaming around central Indiana. They've got a massive search going on because you know, you generally don't want to have lions roaming the neighborhood. I I think if I heard there was a lion in my neighborhood, I'd be a little bit concerned for you know, not only all the people, but yeah, little Millie the dog. Because uh lions can climb stuff.
I don't think uh fence is gonna be much of a problem. Uh and my little kitties, yeah. You know, I I don't know who can run faster. Small cat or full-size lion. I mean, the lion's cubs, probably bigger than my cat. So they haven't found it.
You wouldn't think a lion would be too hard to spot. Remember when uh Liger Town happened, they had those uh helicopters with the infrared, were able to track them down. If you've never heard about Ligertown, it happened in uh Lava Hot Springs. Uh must have been 20, 30 years ago or something. It was a long time ago, but multiple lions and ligers and tigers on the loose. Yes, a liger is a real thing, not just something Napoleon Dynamite came up with. Um I don't know, it just seemed like catching a tiger.
Wouldn't be too bad. Is it a heavily wooded area? What town is this? They just said uh Central Indiana. It's like you should probably get a little more specific.
Okay, they did say one person spotted it on South County Road 50 West in Jackson Township. But that's about it. Might want to narrow that down. Let people know in the area. Um I don't think there's anybody planning to take a trip to Indiana.
If you are, uh I assume you have family living there. Uh, give them the heads up on the lion on the loose, and uh also be cautious and try to not do any live streaming like the you know, idiots online earlier filming themselves with the grizzly bears in Alaska. Uh you ever seen Tiger King? Yeah.
Lions, tigers They're on that level with bears as far as how they can mess you up. Yeah. You want to lose a limb? No.
All right. Hopefully tomorrow I'll have Jade and Josh in with me or Jeff for the noon hour of madness and mayhem. And we got a kind of crazy week here.
Little bit of extra work that needs to be done because Peaches isn't in the house. So just doing my best to uh play catch up on some tasks since it's Monday, and then hopefully buy myself a little bit more time throughout the week to I don't know, get madness and mayhemie with with some other co-hosts. Anyway, don't forget we're giving away tickets to Theory of a Dead Man in Seven Dust. Gave away a pair right before the start of the noon hour.
I might give one away before I take off today as well. If you hear two songs in a row from Seven Dust or Theory of a Dead Man, be color number 20 when the second song starts. I'll hook you up with tickets to the show, and I'll put you into a drawing for meet and greets with Theory of a Dead Man. Now we're also hooking up tickets to grandstand events at the Eastern Idaho State Fair.
Stuff like the Gem State Classic Pro Rodeo, bull riding championships, Western truck and tractor poles, uh, Gabriola Glacius. Super easy to get into in these. Fire up the K-Bear, Alt, or Cannonball apps, and look in the menu there to sign up to win those tickets.
You can sign up once per app. Then we're hooking up tickets to Team Throttle Monster Trucks. That's going down Saturday.
So I'm gonna be blowing those out probably by like Wednesday, because I want to make sure you get them in your hands, and then I will have some folks from Team Throttle Monster Truck Tour in studio with me on Thursday. So yeah, go to enter to win those in the apps, and then I don't know, this week's mayhem. We gotta deal with going to the fair.
The fair opens on Friday. We gotta go cast judgment on food. It's it's chaos. But uh so far, not bad chaos.
We're making it through Monday. Uh Peaches has some kind of pre-reshorted pre-recorded show. Geez, coming up. So make sure to check that out at two, and I'll be back bright and early to hang out with you in the morning, hook up all kinds of prizes, and I don't know, talk about animals attacking people since there's a lot of that going on. All right, I appreciate y'all as always.
Have a wonderful rest of your day, and I will see you soon. Thank you again for tuning in to the Victor Wilch Show. This program's a production of River Bend Media Group. To contact the show or for more information, hit us up at Riverbend Media Group.com.
