Welcome to Man Warrior King. Congratulations. You are among the violent taking the kingdom by force. You are among the chosen, answering the call to rise above your self. You are in the forge being stripped down and strengthened—and you WILL rise stronger, solid, unshakeable.

Well, good afternoon and welcome to another episode of the man warrior king podcast. I'm your host, Matt. Hallick. I'm the author of the DNA of a man.
And I am the founder of the man warrior king movement. It is an honor for me to come to you again, ending here today.
And I just wanna start this episode, not by promoting my book or anything like that, but I wanna start by praying for you.
Jesus, I thank you for the men who are a part of this movement right now. And I thank you for the men who are not yet a part of the movement, but who are joining it and who are going to hear this message.
God, I thank you that you are planting in us right now in this time of our lives. You're planting in us, the ability, the grit, the determination to choose your path forward and to not let anything or anyone deter us from the mission that you have given us.
I thank you, Jesus, that you are, are faithful to see us through even when nobody else is. And I pray that you would cast down lies in the minds of men who are hearing this today.
Jesus. Amen. So I want to point out to you guys, something that I saw recently in a fresh way that, uh, when I was going through chapter one of the book of Matthew, I don't know about you guys, but in my opinion, chapter, one of the book of Matthew is never usually the most exciting chapter to me because first of all, it's full of a, a, uh, genealogy.
And second of all, it's about the birth of Jesus, which I know is great. But man, we've, we've all heard that so many times sometimes I can kind of just gloss over when I read that part of, of Matthew.
But here's the thing that Jesus wants for you to take away from this more in Matthew chapter one verse 18, it says now the birth of Jesus took place in this way.
When his mother Mary had been betrothed to Joseph before they came together and had sex, she was found to be with child from the holy spirit.
Okay. She was found to be with child from the holy spirit. And here's the very next thing that it says about her.
The very, very next thing it says and her husband, Joseph being a just man and unwilling to put her to shame, resolved to divorce her quietly.
That was the next thing. The very next thing. Hey, what's up, Joe? Good to see you on man. Good to see you.
So let me get this straight. If actually, if we take a look at Luke, you get a little bit more of the picture, right?
The angel Gabriel comes to Mary and says to her, don't be afraid. You have found favor with God and you're gonna conceive in your woman.
You're gonna bear a son and you're gonna call his name Jesus. And he's going to be great and be called the son of the most high.
And he's gonna sit on David's throne and reign over the house of Jacob and his kingdom will never end. And Mary says, how can this be since I'm a Virgin?
And so the angel says that the holy Spirit's gonna come upon you and the most high will overshadow you and all of this.
And he says, nothing is impossible with God. And Mary says, I am the servant of the Lord. Let it be to me, according to your word.
So, so here we have additional insight in Matthew. It says that she was with child from the holy spirit, but we see from Luke that the angel says, Mary, you have found favor with God.
And then Mary responds, let it be to me, according to your word. So then she's found with child and the very first thing in Matthew is that Joseph plans to divorce her, you and I, gentlemen, when we face resistance, we tend to take it as a sign that we are off that we shouldn't stay the course, the closest person to marry decided he would divorce her.
Once she said yes to the promise, God's favor over her brought about the very first as the very first effect.
It brought about the road to divorce from her husband or the guy who would marry her. However, all that works out Bero to her, but yet he was still gonna have to divorce her.
I want to challenge you to determine your behavior, to make your life decisions only by the voice of God, only by what he tells you.
And not by the resistance that you get. So many guys go through this process of transformation and they start to, they start to get resistance from the person they want it from least, which is their wife.
And they think that they're doing something wrong. They think that the hope is lost. They think that what's the use and they give up, or maybe they, they know inside of themselves, the mission that God has put them on.
And they know that they have a choice to either respond to that mission and obey the leading of the Lord or they can retreat.
They cower. And so when they choose to go forward and say, yes, God let it be in my life. What it is that you have spoken over me.
And then they start to face resistance from everybody around them. Who says, what are you doing? That's a stupid thing to do.
That's irresponsible. That's not wise. You're not hearing God's voice. They can power. And they think maybe I didn't hear God's voice.
Especially if that resistance is coming from their wife, David got this resistance when he came in and he started talking about slaying Goliath, his brothers, those who were close to him came and said, who do you think you are?
What are you doing? But David stayed his course, just like Mary. She stayed hers. And you know what happened? Joseph came around, God worked on him while God's favor.
Initially looked like it brought on more adversities from Joseph himself of God's favor, continued to work on Mary's behalf. And Joseph didn't leave her.
Obviously, obviously, as we know, the angel came and visited and he embraced the promise of God with her. Isn't that what you want?
Isn't that what you want. Don't you want to be able to cling to the mission and the promise of God in your life.
That even when even your very wife brings the resistance against you, you stay the course and you reach the point where on the other side, the two of you are standing shoulder to shoulder, back to back facing the world around you because you got each other's back as you're going forward.
As you've answered the call of God and responded to his favor, don't come up short. Don't let adversity and resistance tell you that you're on the wrong path.
You need to hear the voice of God. And if you can't hear, God's said, you need to figure out how it's your responsibility to learn, to hear from him, stop playing the pity card and saying poor me.
I can't hear God's voice. I wish he would speak to me. He is speaking to you. That lack is not on his end of the equation, but you and I, my friend, we are the ones who are imperfect.
And so if you can't hear his voice to lead you in the situation of life that you're in right now, then, then it's time that you learn how to hear from him because I guarantee you can.
I guarantee you matter enough for him to speak to you. I guarantee you are worth enough for him to invest his favor into.
