Hey, you. Welcome back to Medium with a Mic. I'm your host, Carrie Bandle. And today, oh, today, we're going to be talking about my favorite subject again. I'm once again gonna talk about the age of Aquarius.
Kari Bandle:It is what I believe I came here to this life for, to guide, to assist, to witness this era right now. I can hear you humming that song from hair in your head. It's a really good one. This is not the age of Aquarius your parents or grandparents talked about in 1969. This is the real thing, and it's happening right now whether the world has caught up to that or not.
Kari Bandle:I've done a version of this topic before about a year ago, and I felt called to come back to it because so much has shifted. So much has been revealed. And, honestly, my understanding of what we're walking into is deepened in ways I didn't expect. So if you listen to that earlier episode, this one is going to feel like the next chapter. And if this is your first time here, welcome.
Kari Bandle:You picked a really good one to land on. So let's start at the beginning because there's a lot of confusion about what this even means astrologically. The Earth moves through a cycle called the precession of the equinoxes. Basically, because of the way the Earth wobbles on its axis, like a slow cosmic top, the point in the sky where the sun rises at the spring equinox shifts very slowly over thousands of years. It moves through each of the 12 zodiac constellations in turn.
Kari Bandle:Each one of those periods is called a great age, and each one lasts roughly two thousand one hundred and sixty years. We have been in the age of Pisces for about the last two thousand years, And what defines the age of Pisces? Religion as the organizing framework of humanity, hierarchy, the idea of salvation coming from outside yourself, faith over knowing, institutions like the church, monarchy, empire holding the power, sacrifice, martyrdom, and a very strong us versus them binary. Sound familiar? The age of Aquarius is what comes next, and Aquarius as a sign, as an archetype, or as an energy is about something completely different.
Kari Bandle:Aquarius rules collective consciousness, community, technology, truth telling, humanitarianism, the breaking down of old structures, the rising of the individual within the collective, innovation, and the reunion of science and spirit. Now here's where it gets really interesting. The exact moment we enter the age of Aquarius is actually debated. Different astrologers place it anywhere from around 1900 to as late as 2600, depending on how they calculate the boundary. But what I want to say to you today, what I feel in my bones and witness in my work, what I see in the signs all around us is this.
Kari Bandle:We are already in it. We are not approaching it. We're not at the gate. We are inside the birth canal of the new age, and we are moving. Now I want to walk you through some of what is happening on and around this planet right now because Gaia, Mother Earth herself, is not being subtle.
Kari Bandle:She is making very loud, very clear statements, and if you have the ears to hear them, they are extraordinary. Let me start with one that really stopped me in my tracks when I heard about it very recently. Scientists have discovered a vast reservoir of water beneath the Earth's surface, not a small underground lake, a massive body of water held within a rock deep in the mantle that is estimated to be larger than all of our surface oceans combined, all of them together. Hidden inside the earth this whole time. In the spiritual and metaphysical world, water is one of the most powerful symbols we have.
Kari Bandle:Water represents the unconscious. It's... It represents emotion, flow, the hidden depths of what is real. It represents truth that cannot be suppressed forever. And here is Gaia literally revealing that she has been holding an ocean within herself all along.
Kari Bandle:Secret, vast sustaining. Just like so many of the truths that are rising to the surface in human consciousness right now. This is not a coincidence. I don't believe in those. Now let's talk about the Schumann resonance.
Kari Bandle:For those who are new to this concept, the Schumann resonance is essentially the electromagnetic heartbeat of the Earth. It is the frequency at which the space between the Earth's surface and the ionosphere naturally resonates. It was measured and named by a physicist Winfried Schumann in the 1950s and for decades it sat at a fairly stable 7.83 hertz. So stable, in fact, that it has been compared to the resting heart rate of the planet. In recent years and with increasing frequency, that resonance has been spiking.
Kari Bandle:We're talking about spikes into the thirties and forties, sometimes even higher. Researchers and intuitives alike have been watching this with great attention because there's a growing body of thought that says the Schumann resonance and human brainwave activities are connected, that when the Earth's frequency rises, so does something in us. It's raising the vibration in us right now. Did you notice the great awakening happening? I did.
Kari Bandle:Think about it this way. If the planet is literally vibrating at a higher frequency and we are electromagnetic beings living on and within her field, we are being tuned like a string on an instrument being wound tighter, reaching higher... A higher note. Some people feel this as anxiety, sleeplessness, heightened emotion, sudden clarity, old wounds surfacing. Sound like anyone you know?
Kari Bandle:Sound like the collective right now? It's it's not chaos. It's just recalibration. And then there are the poles. The Earth's magnetic poles have always shifted over geological time, but scientists are tracking movement that is faster now than it has been in recorded history.
Kari Bandle:The North Magnetic Pole is moving towards Siberia at a pace that has researchers updating navigation systems in real time. The magnetic field itself is weakening in some regions, strengthening in others. The Earth is literally reorganizing her own magnetic structure. Structure. In the metaphysical world, the poles and the magnetic field have long been associated with the structure of reality itself.
Kari Bandle:The organizing grid of the physical plane. And when that grid shifts, everything built on the old structure has to find new footing. I'm not saying this to alarm you. I'm saying it because I find it breathtaking. The earth is not dying.
Kari Bandle:The earth is transforming. Mother earth is reclaiming, recreating, regenerating what humans have destroyed. And she is doing it on a schedule that has nothing to do with our convenience or our comfort and everything to do with a larger cosmic plan. The astrological backdrop for this moment in history is genuinely extraordinary, and it is not just one or two things happening. It's a convergence.
Kari Bandle:Neptune spent fifteen years in Pisces, deepening our collective call towards compassion, spirituality, mental health awareness, and artistic healing. And as of early twenty twenty six, it has moved into Aries for the first time since 1861 to 1875, and it will stay until 2039. That is a massive generational shift in energy from the dreamy, empathic dissolving waters of Pisces into the bold pioneering fire of Aries. The spiritual tide is literally turning. And right alongside it, Saturn moved into Aries as well, nudging us collectively to get serious about asserting ourselves authentically and claiming our independence and examining whether the foundations we've built actually support who we are.
Kari Bandle:Then there is the outer planet picture, which is the one that really makes you sit up straight. Pluto, Uranus, and Neptune are aligned in what astrologers call a minor triangle, two sextiles and a trine, a rare and harmonious configuration among the three outermost, most transformational planets. These are the planets of collective evolution, sudden awakening, and spiritual disillusion of the old. Having all three in positive aspect to each other is not something that happens often. And it is happening right now, right alongside everything else that we are seeing on and around this Earth.
Kari Bandle:Uranus also moved into Gemini in July 2025, the sign of communication, information, and the exchange of ideas, which historically correlates with radical breakthroughs and how humanity shares knowledge and connects. Put all of that together, and what you have is not a coincidence. What you have is the cosmos saying, it's time. So if all of this is a good thing, if we are moving into a new era of community and truth and consciousness, why does so much of the world feel like it's on fire right now? Because birth is not gentle.
Kari Bandle:Birth is loud and messy and overwhelming and sometimes terrifying right up until the moment the new life arrives. And then you look at what came through, and it was worth every single contraction. What we are experiencing collectively, the polarization, the breakdown of old institutions, the exposure of corruption, the culture wars, the grief, the uncertainty, These are contractions. These are the old structures fight... Fighting to maintain themselves as the new energy pushes through.
Kari Bandle:The Piscean age with its hierarchies, its gatekeepers, its trust the institution and don't ask questions energy is not going gently, but it is going. And here's what I want you to understand from both the spiritual and human standpoint. When something is ending, it often makes the most noise right before the end. The dying of the old can look like total collapse. It can look like everything is falling apart, but falling apart and falling away are two very different things.
Kari Bandle:What is falling away is what no longer belongs in the new world, and what is being born slowly, beautifully in communities and conversations and moments of human connection all over this planet is something we have not seen in two thousand years. So what does the age of Aquarius actually look like when it arrives? What are we moving toward? I'll tell you what I see and what I feel and what I genuinely believe, not as a wish, but as a knowing. And I've been really paying attention.
Kari Bandle:Community, real community, not the social media performance of community, but actual human beings choosing to show up for each other, neighborhoods that function like villages, people sharing resources, skills, food, knowledge, the rediscovery that we were never meant to do this alone. Technology in service of the human soul. Aquarius rules technology, yes, But Aquarius ruled technology serves the collective, not the corporation. We are in a messy middle right now where technology is still largely being used to extract and control. But the Aquarian impulse is pushing towards tools that liberate, that connect, that heal, that democratize knowledge.
Kari Bandle:We are seeing the very early stages of this, and it will deepen. The collapse of the middleman between you and your knowing, The age of Pisces required priests and prophets and institutions to tell you what was true and what was sacred. The age of Aquarius says, you have direct access. Your intuition is real. Your inner knowing is valid.
Kari Bandle:Your connection to the divine does not require anyone's permission. This is why we are seeing such an explosion of people waking up to their own intuitive abilities. Their own spiritual experiences. Their own sense that there is more going on than the material world has told them. We are in a great awakening.
Kari Bandle:And here's the piece that's really great. Unity without uniformity. Aquarius is not, homogenizing energy. It does not say we all have to be the same. It says we are all part of one human family, and that distinction is beautiful, not threatening.
Kari Bandle:The new world being born is one where difference is interesting rather than dangerous, where your way of experiencing the divine is honored alongside my way, where we can disagree and still share a table. Wow, what an amazing concept. I remember when people could speak about politics without hatred, and the news just told you the news, leaving you to decide what it means. I don't know if I will see the fullness of that world in this lifetime, but I'll tell you something. I know I will see it from where I'll be.
Kari Bandle:And that thought does not make me sad. It fills me with peace. So, how do we live as Aquarian souls in a world still mid transition? How do we hold the vision without burning out the gap between what is and what is coming? A few things I come back to again and again.
Kari Bandle:First, attend to your own frequency. You are an electromagnetic being living inside an electromagnetic planet. The Schumann spikes affect you. The collective anxiety affects you, which means your own inner work isn't selfish, raising your own vibration through meditation, time and nature, through honest shadow work, through healing what is unhealed, is a contribution to the whole. You are part of the field.
Kari Bandle:How you show up in it matters. Second, build your community now. Don't wait for the new world. Start creating it in your own life. Who around you shares your values?
Kari Bandle:Who can you show up for? Who would show up for you? Community does not require perfection. It requires intention. Third, trust what is being revealed every time something uncomfortable surfaces in your life, in the news, in your relationships.
Kari Bandle:Understand that revelation is part of this transition. What cannot live in the light of the Aquarian age is being brought into the light so it can be seen and released. Do not look away. Bear witness and trust that truth surfacing is always ultimately a gift even when it hurts. Fourth, practice the new world now.
Kari Bandle:Be generous. Be curious about people who are different from you. Speak kindly. Create things. Share what you know.
Kari Bandle:Be the neighbor, the friend, the stranger who smiled that the new world is made of. Because the age of Aquarius is not something that will be handed to us. It is something we build one human moment at a time. So here we are, beautiful souls, standing inside of one of the most significant transitions in human history, and most people don't even know it. But you do, and knowing changes things.
Kari Bandle:We are not lost. We are not doomed. We're not at the end of the story. We are at the beginning of something that our great great grandchildren will look back on the way that we look back at the Renaissance and say, can you imagine being alive during that shift? Can you imagine what it must have felt like to be at the turning of the age?
Kari Bandle:Well, you are, and it is extraordinary, and you're not here by accident. That's all I have for you today.
