The audio edition of the Stewart Vickers AI YouTube channel. Each episode takes one AI release - a model, a tool, a price cut - and translates it into money for business owners: what got cheaper, who got undercut, and what to do about it this week. Operator credibility over theory, specific numbers over vibes. Every episode links the original video and the free Church of SEO Jesus community where the prompts and workflows live.

Yesterday morning thousands of automated agents woke up dead, silent, every single request throwing a 400. 275, called Advisor 20260301. If your requests were routing through anything other than Anthropix's own endpoint, every call came back rejected. 276 to fix it, one bullet, whole release. If you run Claude Code as your in-house engineer, the last part of this video is the three-line setup I moved to on my own agent boxes this morning, so a two-day-old regression can never take my whole operation down again. 275 yesterday afternoon with three visible features and one invisible internal tag.

76 dropped 12 hours later with one bullet, strip the tag. No new features, no hook changes, no MCP changes. Nothing else touching your scheduled tasks. Now the interesting part. Anyone running Claude Code through little m, anyone using a Cloudflare AI gateway to track cost across projects, any team that stuck an internal proxy in front of Anthropix for usage logging, any corporate network that runs egress through security middleware, all of them, all broken, not some of the requests, every single call, because the new tag was in every one and the proxies did not know what to do with a tag Anthropix had never advertised. I know a two-person e-commerce team that runs their entire evening customer service email queue through Claude Code hitting a Cloudflare gateway.

Their inbox this morning had 400 unanswered customer emails and one 400 error in the log. They spent two hours thinking that Anthropix account had been suspended before they found the release note. 274 at 11 this morning and the queue drained clean. So update or hold, which one? 276 tonight, your 400s go away, your Monday runs work, done. If you go straight to Anthropix own endpoint, nothing changes.

Update, hold, whatever you want. No new features, no removed features, no flag changes, nothing that touches your hooks, MCP servers, or scheduled tasks. Read the note, close the tab, move on. The whole answer to the title of this video delivered. Before I go deeper, this channel covers every Claude Code release the day it ships. So subscribe and the next drop finds you instead of you finding it through a broken automated run on Monday morning.

The exact commands and pinned version install line from this video are in the pinned comment, copy and paste ready. And the Church of SEO Jesus, my free school community linked below, is where the operator playbooks for running Claude Code as your in-house engineer actually live. Now for the part most people skip, which is also where the money is. com slash anthropix slash claude dash code slash releases in a new tab right now. 276. Read it, not me telling you.

Then scroll down. Anthropix has shipped 519 versions of Claude Code, 10 of them landed in the last two weeks alone. A moving target, not a stable dependency. Anyone running Claude Code on any kind of schedule got hit yesterday if their install pulls the latest version automatically. A team I know had their agent box set up to auto-update on every restart. Another had latest in their install command from a year ago and had not thought about it since.

Both boxes went from working Sunday night to throwing 400s Monday morning without a single line of their own code changing. Claude Code is not the problem there. That one is on the operator. And nobody is going to fix it for you. Let me walk you through what a 12 hour regression actually cost businesses running through gateways yesterday. Sales research agent polling overnight, returned nothing.

Support bot watching a queue every 90 seconds, queued a thousand failed calls before anyone woke up. Content pipeline firing on a schedule, whole day published zero. Client work automation running every hour, 12 rounds of failed retries and an angry slack. And the alert that made it to your phone, if you had one, just said 400. Not your upgrade broke US. Not revert the last install, just 400.

Every one of those pipelines cost real money to be down. Which is why half the teams I heard from spent the morning rotating API keys, checking billing dashboards and interrogating their own code before someone finally thought to check the release notes. Here is the three line setup I moved to today. Same one is in the pinned comment. 1. Pin the exact version number in your install command.

Not latest, not the cat, not tilde. The specific version number you tested. When Anthropics ships a new one, read the release note, run one real call against your setup and only then bump the number. 60 seconds of work PR release. Kills the entire class of overnight regression outage. One input tag, one string in a request body, killed every proxied agent operation for 12 hours.

2. For teams routing through a proxy or gateway, one extra step. After every Claude code bump, run one request through the setup with a real prompt. 10 seconds. Because Anthropic keeps adding dated internal tags. 1 is not the last one they will ship.

3. Add a release watcher, a slack bot polling the GitHub releases feed, a 50 line script that emails you when the tag on the repo changes. A paid tool, doesn't matter which. The point is that when V2 won 277 ships, you know inside an hour, not when your automated runs start throwing errors two days later. You bought Claude code to be your in-house engineer. Treat it like a real engineer would.

A real engineer pins the versions their agents depend on. A real engineer tests before deploying. A real engineer sets up alerting when the upstream changes without asking. The exact commands and pinned version in still line are sitting in the pinned comment underneath this video, copy and paste ready. The longer walkthrough with every stack I run lives in the church of SEO Jesus, link in the description. The tag that broke everything was named advisor and a date.

Anthropic is going to keep adding tags shaped like that. Every one of them is a possible breakpoint for anything sitting between your machine and Anthropic's servers. The pattern is stable. Plan for it, or run into the next one next month. Next up, watch the video I pinned in the top right. Exactly what I run on the three agent boxes I keep alive without touching them, and yesterday's mess is why the config looks the way it does.
