Dr Erin: Trauma is the core work
for everyone, because trauma,
even from a longevity
standpoint, trauma is stress in
the body, and it actually kind
of entangles the energetic so as
soon as you do your trauma work,
also you have more energy and
you have more capability to have
freedom of choice. Okay, so
that's the core the first work,
I would say, for somebody is to
do their trauma work.
Marisa: Welcome to spiritually
savvy, the podcast that brings
spiritual wisdom into everyday
life. I'm your host, Marissa
Rylan. I'm a former corporate
recruiter turned spiritual life
coach and manifestation mentor,
and I help spiritually curious
women deepen their connection to
themselves, raise their
vibration, and learn how to
manifest with ease. Together in
this podcast, we'll explore all
your favorite spiritual concepts
and break down the buzzwords,
turning them into simple,
meaningful practices to help you
grow, heal and manifest the life
you truly desire. In each
episode, I'll be joined by
different thought leaders,
teachers teachers and experts
from all across the spiritual
landscape to help you dive even
deeper. If you're ready to
expand your spiritual practice
and live with more
intentionality, you're in the
right place. Now let's dive into
all the Woo.
Unknown: Dr Erin, I am so beyond
excited to have you here today.
It is such a privilege you have
made such a difference to not
only my personal life, but my
career, in launching and
creating your coaching programs
and your Doctor of Divinity
programs. And I just think
you're such a joy and a gift to
the world. So thank you for
being here and sharing your
wisdom. I'm
Dr Erin: so proud of you. You
have no idea, and I'm so happy
to connect, and it's just an
honor to do this work truly.
Marisa: Yeah, and your
commitment to it and your depth
into the space is so admirable,
and I'm so so so excited that
listeners get to hear some of
that today, and that we can dive
into some of the topics that I
know come up, especially with my
clients, around trauma and
stories and programming and the
subconscious mind that can be a
little hard to ground and
understand without doing a deep
dive. And so gonna kind of
condense all of that into one
session here today to get people
started with that, that deeper
understanding, so they can
actually make some tangible
changes now in their lives. So
yeah, thank you for hopefully,
Dr Erin: whether someone's
listening and they're dealing
with relationship issues or
health issues or money and
career or purpose and calling.
Hopefully we can keep it kind of
basic, because I tend to get way
too advanced, and I want to keep
it really not dumb it down,
because I don't think anything's
dumb, but really make it
tangible here for people to
really get how profound the deep
dive work of the subconscious
and soul clearing and trauma
healing and stuff is so that
they can manifest and actually
restore their free will to not
be in stuck patterns, and do the
insanity that we've all been
through over and over again in
our lives.
Unknown: Yeah, I'm interested in
some of these particular
concepts that are kind of
becoming more mainstream, right?
And that's the whole point of
this podcast. Is we are in this
collective awakening, if you
will, which I know you have
talked about several times, and
people are becoming more and
more interested and more aware,
and there's this conundrum where
you start to become more aware,
and you start to wake up, and
then you're like, Well, what do
I do next? Or how do I integrate
this information, or there's so
much noise out there, and how do
I really wrap my head around it?
And I think one of those
concepts is trauma. There's so
much talk about trauma, and I
love the way that you approach
trauma, and I love the way that
new thought community in the
spiritual space thinks and talks
about trauma, really from not
only a spiritual lens, but
connecting it back to science
and how it impacts us on a
biological level, a cellular
level. And so for those who
don't know, I went through
Erin's spiritual psychology
program, a coach coaching
certification, which,
congratulations, is now ICF
certified, which is incredible.
And I learned this completely
different perspective on trauma.
For me, I had always thought,
even with a background in
psychology, that it was these
bigger things that we we talk
about in the program, like war
or car accidents or death, and I
learned in the coaching program
that it's so much more than
that, and so I would love for
you to share your definition, or
new thought definition, on what
trauma actually is from a
spiritual perspective and how
that impacts us in our lives.
Sure. So back to the you were
kind of talking first about this
spiritual awakening, and kind of
we're going through what I would
consider the greatest awakening,
because we've gone through kind
of what you might call. All the
Dark Ages, really being asleep
in the whole world, and having
an era, and many eras, many
hundreds of years, of of kind of
really not coming to truth on
this planet. So one, I just want
to acknowledge anyone listening,
no matter if you are wanting to
manifest your dreams or whether
you're just literally suffering
so greatly because you're in so
much pain, whether it be a
dysfunctional relationship or
addiction or whatever's there
that going into this
conversation applies to
everyone. And it's kind of
weird, because I think people
think again, like you said, let
me say over and over, that
trauma is a really misunderstood
term. People think it's only if
you were in a war, a car
accident or raped or death or
something like that. And from a
spiritual awakening perspective,
it is that which has divided the
subconscious mind. So all
limited belief comes from
trauma, all kind of stuck
patterns, all the dysfunction,
all the limited beliefs. And so
we have to know that what is
trauma? Trauma is not what
happens to you. Trauma is what
happens within you. So it could
be something as simple as, you
know, getting an argument with
with a friend on the jungle gym
as a kid. And what happens is,
just to break it down, really
succinct, you're a spiritual
being. You are a creator, where
each creator is and so the
moment something happens or
something doesn't happen, and we
assign a negative meaning to it,
we instantaneously begin to
create frequency and vibration
at a cellular level, at a
subconscious level, and if we're
really upset about it, it goes
into the category of a trauma,
because that frequency and
vibration goes so high that,
literally, the entire every
molecule, every cell, is being
communicated. And then what
happens is we make a decision,
I'm not enough. I'll never love
again. Something's wrong with
me. Life is hard, whatever it
may be, and this actually is
what we call a command. It's a
negative command, and it
literally tags the epigenetics
through we're living a mental
universe. And this mental
picture of that time that you
know you had an argument with
your friend on the jungle gym
now becomes something that plays
out like a program in your life,
over and over again, and then
you think, why do I feel alone
all the time when I'm around
friends? Because this concept of
maybe I'm alone, no one
understands me, whatever,
whatever that is, we all have
our commands. And so people need
to understand that these
Defining Moments called trauma
is something that every single
person, if they want change, if
they want transformation, if
they want success in the
different areas of their life,
they have to deal with this core
work, which is their identity,
their false identity and their
limited beliefs.
Yeah, I think in the program,
you defined it as five minutes
to 24 hours, roughly, of like
this very heightened negative
sense of emotion, and we create
our own explanation in that
moment, right? And then we hold
on to that going forward. And
then our subconscious mind,
anytime it recognizes anything
similar or feels similar in the
body, that belief gets
triggered. But it's so deep, and
it's so beneath our conscious
awareness. And so whenever I go
into the trauma work that you
taught me with my clients,
they're always so surprised at
what's there. Because I think
that's the other part of trauma
that people don't realize, is it
is subconscious,
that's right. And what people
aren't talking about when they
go I want to manifest, and
they're like, the biggest thing
to manifest is actually doing
the trauma work, because it's
actually most of the
manifestation work is getting
out of the way and because
you're naturally an abundant
like abundance is your nature,
your vitality, high energy is
your nature. Loving is your
nature. This is the natural way.
But the trauma and those limited
beliefs and those basically
inverted energetics at a sole
cellular level is what's
actually holding people back
from being able to manifest
exponentially. Yeah.
How did you get into this work?
Give us a little background.
Let's go back in time to how you
first because I was a disaster.
That's how I got into the work.
I came from a dysfunctional
upbringing. My mother was an
alcoholic. My father went out
and had another family. You
know, parents got divorced. I
was a latch key kid, basically
in junior high, living pretty
much panhandling on the streets.
Did my first drugs and alcohol
in junior high. Luckily, I
didn't like drugs and alcohol,
but slept with boys and, you
know, all the trauma, all the
dysfunction, and then I was date
raped in high school. I had
bulimia from 17 to 20 and then I
went, Okay, I need to clean up
my life. I need to figure out
something. So I thought marriage
would solve my problems, because
that's when I saw movies. And
then I got married, and I got
pregnant, and I had a full term,
stillborn at the age of 22 and
as we know what is our greatest
trauma becomes our greatest
blessing turns into our purpose
and calling, which is really the
formula that came out of it for
me, that I helped so many across
the world understand that as we
you know, having a stillborn was
what actually sent me on this
mission, which gave me. Life
beyond my wildest dreams. So how
I got here is by being broken,
being codependent. Also, I was
very much codependent for years
after that. Had to heal my
codependency. Had to heal my
trauma. I had to I had no, you
know, no support and no real
organization. I was dyslexic and
a mess. And then I go, Oh. And
then I started healing and
healing and healing, as Joseph
Campbell says, the student
becomes a teacher. And trust me,
if I can do this, anyone can do
this, because I was just like a
mess, you know, front to back,
and the work works, if you work
as I say, yeah,
yeah. And then tell us about
what transpired for you next in
that healing transition, what
were you able? What have you
been able to do for yourself?
Yeah.
So what happened was, at first I
had no money, so I was like,
Well, how do I heal? You know?
So I just started, kind of like
reading some books and trying to
heal. And then that kind of went
into the next thing. I started
getting to, like, self
development, transformation. I
went through landmark worm in
1999 I became I went into
shamanism. I went into self
development, not the medicine
shamanism, but just energetics.
And then I became a spiritual
practitioner, metaphysical
minister and a doctor, divinity.
So what happened? Trying to
remember what you just passed
on, but basically was equally
for you. Yeah. I mean, bottom
line, the biggest traumas that I
had was actually around toxic
relationships, and there was
playing out like Vicious Cycles
in my relationship. So for me,
the biggest transformation, you
could say, is what I call the
only sin, which is handing your
power over to the external
world. So the greatest thing
that I healed for myself is
recognizing that I am the
creator of my life, one with you
can call it, whether you're
whatever your belief is, or
religion or non religion, that
within the depths of each
molecule of my cells is source.
It's a zero point field in the
quantum field way, and that I
realize that I that's where my
creation comes. It doesn't come
from out here. I'm not I can
never be the effect of the
world. And that's really hard
for a lot of people, because
they're like, What do you mean?
My ex cheated on me, or I was
hurt or whatever. And the truth
is that source, the truth of who
we are, can create from
nothingness. So say, even
there's that great motivational
coach who he has no legs and no
arms, and he could sit there and
say, I'm a victim of my
circumstances, but instead, he
turned it into a great mission
and helped so many people across
the globe. So no matter what
your situation is, you can
abundantly create infinitely
from whatever has occurred in
your life. And so for me, that's
been the greatest healing is
just coming back to the truth of
who I am. You know, yeah,
and it's so hard, isn't it? It's
just so hard in the human
experience to continue to come
back without the practice
without a practice, without
clearing out that programming,
without healing that trauma. And
I know Yeah,
and, and to add to that that we
have found, I've found, over
decades of working now with
clients and doing the trauma
work, that you can do your
trauma work, but we are habitual
beings, so we have to have a
daily spiritual practice, to get
our mind right and to align to
our truth, regardless if we're
no longer just being reactive
from the trauma that's happened
the past, we have to create new
neurological system. We have to
actually regulate our nervous
system. We have to come back to
truth, and that's why you know,
having a vision for your life,
having your life's purpose, your
mission, and being clear and
making sure you're focusing on
that every day. Because we're so
distracted by everything right
now, it's like we're being
developed like the muscle of
truth, the muscle of success,
the muscle of everything. And it
is a master class that's going
quantum right now, especially
with AI. I know
it's a whole other thing. How
does somebody get started with a
spiritual practice that is
digestible, right to but also
can be impactful. So somebody's
starting out in this awakening
journey, and they're like, oh my
gosh, I'm listening to you talk,
and I'm realizing I have all
this stuff I probably need to
heal, and I'm co dependent, and
I'm showing up every day in the
same exact way. What is
something I can start doing in
the morning or throughout my day
to start to shift some of that
and start to reprogram those
neural networks.
Sure. So, I mean, we know it's
scientifically now, so it's not
some woo, woo thing. And we're
not just like, oh yeah, just go
do whatever, like science is
thank goodness is catching up,
and we're merging with science
and psychology and spirituality
and unified physics, and
everything is coming together,
which is so awesome. So there's
an actual, very specific step by
step plan for awakening, and in
for my opinion, in
enlightenment. And that might be
like, Wait, well, no one can be
enlightened. Yeah, we can be
enlightened, and we can also be
not just a monk in the hills of
Himalayas. So there's a step by
step process the most. In my
opinion, the most important work
that we do is the trauma work,
because it's like a hack. You
can go meditate for 20 years and
probably like really get to an
enlightenment state if you did
that, or you can hack it, and
hacking it is through the trauma
work. And the cool thing is that
now science and psychology and
spirituality is all saying the
same thing, that trauma is. The
core work for everyone, because
trauma, even from a longevity
standpoint, trauma is stress in
the body, and it actually kind
of entangles the energetic so as
soon as you do your trauma work,
also you have more energy and
you have more capability to have
freedom of choice. Okay, so
that's the core. The first work,
I would say, for somebody is to
do their trauma work. If they
can't afford trauma work right
away, right? They can begin to
at least educate themselves and
having trauma informed. And
begin to go, oh, this makes
sense, and it starts to actually
kind of neutralize some of the
charge around it. Okay, trauma
work number one, I would say for
sure. Then of course, you want
to have a daily spiritual
practice. Science shows us that
20 minutes in the morning and 20
minutes in the evening of
meditation, not necessarily
guided meditations. Okay, you
want to get make sure that
you're either doing like a heart
rate variability, where you're
actually, this is science now,
where you're actually merging
the heart and the and the brain
so that it is coherence, and
you're actually helping the
neurological system. So 20
minutes in the morning, 20
minutes in the evening. I always
say to people, if they could do
11 minutes of heart rate
variability and then go into a
silent meditation, is really
where you put your big girl
pants on and start actually
marching into the one that's
okay. So those are some basic
things that you can do. The
third thing I'd say for sure is
having a support system of like
minded people that aren't
dragging you back into the
drama, dragging you back into
the gossip, but rather are
holding you recognizing that
you're the creator of your life,
and that no matter what's
happened, that you have the
ability to innovate and create
something new for yourself. So I
would say those are the three
core like, if you were to say
the basics of basics around it,
yeah,
something that that was really
helpful through the the coaching
program, for me was a concept,
you or I don't know if it's a
concept or maybe just a tool, a
process that you developed, and
it's this idea around when
you're noticing that emotional
trigger, right, when You notice
that heightened emotional state
really sitting with yourself and
writing or listing out as much
as you can until you have
nothing left really? What are
you actually upset about? Right?
And kind of working through,
what am I upset about? What am I
upset about? What am I upset
about? Because at the bottom is
always that thing about
ourselves that totally
kind of so emotions. I don't
know if you but for me, for
sure, it was I had so much
judgment around like, oh my
gosh, I'm having a negative
thought. I need to change that,
and it doesn't work. And we know
that the positive movement is
great, but it also has been one
of the most toxic things we've
had in our in our culture,
because it's spiritual
bypassing, like you have an
emotion because your True Self
is Trying to direct you to your
relative truth. There's ultimate
truth, like energy can't be
destroyed. We are eternal, but
there's relative truth. What
works for you in relationship,
what works for you and money,
what works for you, and how
people deal in communication is
going to be different for each
person. And so every time we
have an emotion, we call this
the upset worksheet, which, as
you know, we train the coaches
in many processes. E4 trauma
method is just one of them, in
regressions of this lifetime or
past lifetimes. You don't even
need to believe in past
lifetimes. You're born into the
memory of your lineage trauma.
We also do quantum manifesting
by doing that process, but we
also many processes. And what
you're talking about is the
upset worksheet, because every
day, if you're human, you have
some kind of an upset at some
point in time, in the day. And
instead of being like, Oh, this
sucks, life's hard, or oh my
gosh, what's wrong with me,
instead it's like, oh, this is
telling me what I what my truth
is. Every relationship and every
circumstance is the opportunity
to discover what we like and
what we don't like and what our
truth is. And so when you
actually begin to and we do like
over and over, what you know
regarding the situation, what he
upset about, and we basically
acknowledge and vent, if you
will, without a story, but just
acknowledging what's not in your
truth, and then all of a sudden
there's this revelation around,
oh, well, this is my truth. And
so thank you you know ex
boyfriend. Thank you you know
person. Thank you for that
terrible driver that was
flipping me off. Thank you for
you know, showing me what my
truth is, and helping me reveal
that through the situation and
knowing so this is an important
distinction, because we talked
about trauma, which is the core
core, where the core limited
beliefs come from, but up and
you said, remember, you said
it's between five and 24 hours
of like a real big upset that
creates that trauma, that is
that that command that is
literally placed into the
subconscious mind and plays out
like puppet strings. But there's
also upsets. So in this
emotional and energetic mastery
and upsets very important to
handle. We don't We shouldn't
just swipe it under the rug. And
the reason why is because
upsets, over time, they turn
into sadness, apathy and
depression. Because what it is
is that upset is basically
saying, Hey, I can't create what
I want to create. I want life
and people and places. To be
different than they are, which
we know is the gap of suffering.
So upsets are super important to
realize, no matter what you're
upset about, if you accept the
person, place and circumstance
as they are, and you go, Huh,
who do I need to be to either
change or put myself in a new
environment or whatever it is,
then all of a sudden, you have
restored your power. And sadness
and depression is when somebody
doesn't believe that they can
create what they want to create
in life. Create in life. So it's
imperative that we deal with
these things and give ourselves
tools we don't. We're never
taught this. We're taught
geography in elementary school
instead of how to understand the
vehicle that we're in and how do
we actually drive it, and
knowing that we're not the
vehicle, we're not this body,
just like I can get out of the
car. We're not this body. We're
creating through this temple,
right? I love it so much. Yeah,
and I think that's it's the
connection with emotions is so
critical for people to
understand, because the emotion
is the signal, right? Is the
signal that there's something
there, whether it's your truth
trying to come forward, or
something that needs to be
healed, or something you need to
just look at, right? And we walk
around in this existence where
we don't want to heal our
feelings,
we have to really take a look at
how emotions, people like you're
the creator of the emotion,
which is the identity, creates
the beliefs. The beliefs create
the thoughts. The thoughts
create the feelings. The
feelings create the emotions,
and the emotions generally
create the circumstances of your
life. So how is an emotion
created? It's created by the
meaning that we place on
something, whether it's negative
or positive. We instantaneously
create a positive or negative
feeling, and if we exaggerate
that, then it becomes emotions.
And no one's taught that. They
think you created my emotion.
That's impossible. No one can
create your emotions. You're the
creator of your emotions, and no
one can create your beliefs.
You're the creator of your
beliefs, and that's the
brilliant of E for method, as
I'm sure you have experienced
your clients, is that when
you're in the middle of a trauma
process and you realize, well, I
made that decision, I made that
decision that created that
belief that played out like
wrote and Puppet string in my
life, as a theme of the
character that I'm playing. You
are the producer, the director
and the character of your life.
And when you realize that you're
able to realize the same
consciousness that created that
limitation is the same
consciousness that can create
something new. And we all want
something new. Let's face the
fact we get tired of ourselves
and our stuck pattern like this.
The odd needs to, like, get me
out this cycle. Oh my
gosh, my stuck patterns. I still
and I think it's a forever
journey, right? Like you always
have it being like you said,
being in in that consistent
practice and continuing to tend
to it is so important because, I
mean, that is the human
experience, right? It's like to
wrestle with what it is to be
human and continue to experience
all of these things, but also to
stay conscious and to be in that
consciousness. It was funny. I
was talking to my mom. My mom
was talking to me about trauma,
which she and I don't often talk
about, and I was talking to her
about the e4 trauma method, and
I was saying how, you know, I
was giving her an example. And I
was saying that time when
you're, you know, you're at the
mall with your mom, and you get
lost, or your mom turns away,
and you get lost, and then you
hide under the clothing rack,
and all of a sudden you decide,
like you're alone, and you can't
count on people, and you have
to, you can't trust other
people, and you, in that moment,
create these divisive beliefs
that are so subconscious that
you carry forward. And my mom
said, Did you know that that
actually happened to you? Oh,
and I was like, why? She was
like, Yeah, you, I, we, you got
lost at the mall. And I've been
using that example with my
clients, over and over again,
when I introduce the E for
there's another subconscious
layer, right? It's so deep, deep
in who we are, and it becomes
our whole story. So I'm glad
that you, you brought up, you
know, kind of working through
that over and over and over
again, because I always found
there was, there was so much
more there one thing that you
mentioned also
need to realize that we're this
is like a master class, you
know. And you go, the work's
never done. But we have to
recognize that this is a
computer system, literally. They
now have, they can download,
like, books on the DNA, like
it's literally a computer
system. We are literally in the
matrix, you know. We're not
these bodies. We are spiritual
beings. And so we have to know
that we whatever we create. And
like you said, it's never done,
because every day is a new day,
and there's cycles and the sun
comes up, but every day we are
creating what becomes automated,
you know. And so it never
changes, but it does evolve the
things that we've done and we've
once, you begin to really, truly
know truth, or stop gossiping or
stop complaining or whatever, it
becomes a habit, and you don't
have to think about it as much,
because it's just a natural
habit. So it doesn't stop, but
it does evolve. And so there's
you know, it's you know, when
you've put healthy habits. And
then you don't have to try as
hard to do it. So it does
evolve. It does change. I mean,
it doesn't change because we're
always working and growing and
evolving. But it does evolve and
change, which
is good, yeah, like anything
else in the body, in the mind,
right? Like going to the gym or
running a marathon or whatever,
eating healthy just takes
maintenance, but it becomes more
of a maintenance than a big
shift. For sure, absolutely you
have, you're such a wealth of
knowledge. I have, like, 1000
things I would love to bring to
the audience, but you have a
book. Well, you have two books,
multiple books. Now are you
Hannah? Well,
I have one book called
awakening. It's a 40 day plan,
which is really a great way. And
you talk about how someone could
start, they could start there,
because it really does. Part of
the education and the awakening
and the epiphanies begin, which
is really good, but you want to
be cautious, because when people
like start knowing the truth, or
they start whatever, seeing
spirituality, they start
preaching, almost, and, and, but
they haven't embodied it yet. So
it's like you have to make sure
you actually do the work that
the processes and the
regressions along with the
education. But that's a book
they could totally get, for
sure, and it comes with 40
guided meditations and
worksheets, journal worksheets
and everything like that. The
other book that I have is
actually like a compliment to
the 52 universal law Oracle arts
that you're the Oracle. It's
really understanding how you can
create, and really, actually you
can see patterns and actually
predict things very easily,
because humans are very
predictable. When you understand
universal law. Yeah,
I love universal law cards. I i
use them just to learn and
refresh my memory and I'll pull
a card. But I also just enjoy
kind of refreshing like, Oh,
this is actually a thing, and
this is how we create and so I
will link all of those for you
listeners in the show notes, so
you can grab a copy. If that is
of interest to you. What's one
thing? And obviously, as we've
talked about, there isn't one
thing that's the trick. There
isn't one thing that somebody
can do, just one off. There
isn't a simple solution or a
pill they can take to be to heal
their trauma, to step into the
fullest expression of their
divine selves. But what's one
step or one simple practice that
somebody could start doing,
maybe in the morning, to start
to bring a different level of
consciousness and a different
frequency to their day and to
their pattern. I do think
there's one thing, I mean,
before even answering your
question, I think the one thing
is getting fully committed. Like
and commitment happens. It's
kind of like a diet. We know
diets don't work because they're
diets, but what happens is, when
we powerfully decide, I'm sick
and tired of being sick and
tired, I decide from this moment
forward, and we don't know how,
we don't know what we're going
to do for changing our food or
going to work out, but we
decided, and then it changes
from there. And I think that
that's the most powerful thing
someone can do when they are
wanting to awaken. And what I
what I would say, awakening
comes down to one thing and one
thing only, and it's knowing
that you're the creator and not
the effect of anything of the
world. And that's a hard
paradigm for people to get but
when they really get it, they
fall back into the pattern of
being the victim. But they know.
They know, right? So I would
say, you know, a cliche, but I
think it does work, is
gratitude, because as hard as
this one area of our life could
be, when we wake up in the
morning like maybe we're
struggling to actually create
that business that we want or
our relationship isn't going how
we want, we can find something
to be grateful for, whether it
be, geez, I'm just so grateful
to have a home that's safe, and
I'm so grateful to have the food
that I have in my refrigerator.
I'm so grateful to have the
amazing friends that I have. I
mean I literally, and I believe
that when we want to get in flow
state, gratitude is the best,
because I'll just, like, just
start giving gratitude,
gratitude all of a sudden. It's
like the miracles come in. The
phone starts ringing. You know,
things start happening. Because
when we're in resistance, we're
literally resisting the flow of
the universe, and the universe
can't give us anything more if
we're putting breaks, right?
It's like we have to be in the
flow of the currency, and that's
also tithing. If you want to
make a difference, go into
gratitude and then figure out,
who can I serve? Who can I give
to today? Who can I help today?
When we get out of ourselves,
it's actually the greatest way,
you know, we can get back into
our problems. But as a quote
from yesterday was a funeral
from a dear friend that
transitioned. He died. No one
can say transition anymore,
because they anymore, because I
think he became a woman. So he
died. And one of the quotes that
they read, which he's just an
amazing human being, he said,
Life is a mystery to be lived,
not a problem to be solved.
That's so good, yeah. And so
maybe instead of looking like I
need to solve all these
problems, and it's heavy to do
my trauma work, and it's heavy
to do all this. Rather, let's
make it fun and like, it's so
amazing to be, like, free will
and enlightened and be in the
modern world and have AI, and
have the globe, and have the
universe. And like, let's make
it fun, you know. And I. Stop
labeling people and pointing the
finger and like all this stuff
that we need to get over as an
industry of even psychology,
like we need to begin to know
we're one no matter what you're
experiencing, no matter what the
label is, you're not that.
You're a divine, infinite,
immortal, spiritual being. Yeah,
I
love that. It it's so relevant
to my experience, because that
was something that, you know,
having a master's degree in
psychology and kind of going
down that path and taking
psychology into the
organizational setting, that's
where I ultimately got stuck.
And then when I had my own
awakening, decided to go into
the spiritual coaching path
versus the psychology path,
because I started to whether I
was conscious of it or not,
recognize that labels and like
diagnostics, while so helpful,
can also, at times, become your
identity, that divided identity
and just reinforcing this, like
I have this problem or I am this
thing, and it can just become
who you are and disconnect you
from All of the other parts of
yourself and your power. So I'm
really glad that you talked
about, you know, awakening,
being reclaiming your power to
create, because I really think
that's such a, you know, we
always question, what does it
mean? What does that mean?
Awakening? And I think that's
just such a perfect, all
encompassing summary of what it
is. It's like remembering that
we have the power to create. So
thank you for sharing that.
Thank you for sharing your
wisdom, anything that you want
to share with the audience, on
where they can find you, or
anything that might be helpful
for them, besides the resources
we've already kind of touched
on. Thanks
so much. And I so love this
conversation. I'm really
honored. And no matter what's
whoever's listening, I just know
that no matter what you're going
through, no matter how hard it
is, I recognize those hardest
things become our greatest
assets, and they become our true
story. And that's actually who
will end up wanting to be in
your circle. And whoever, if
you're going into the industry,
who's going to be your client,
is really the people have gone
through those similar things, so
they're all just blessings. So
