Rated R Safety Show with Jay Allen

The override breakers are fried and the transdimensional static is screaming for this October 6, 2026 broadcast, patching the chaos out of the Safety FM studios in Orlando. Today’s spectrum is jagged: we hijack the feed from global oil price chess matches, torch the canned compliance clowns and punch through the static of safety theater. The multiverse grid is crackling with everything from trade cold wars to viral outbreaks, but we’re yanking the Map right out of the Black Iron Prison’s hands. This episode is pure anti-bureaucratic voltage—smashing through leadership facades, calling out institutional cowardice and spotlighting what really happens when systems get sabotaged from the inside.

Track Breakdown & Segment Notes
The Bureaucratic Intrusion: This episode rips the lid off how bureaucratic inertia calcifies both safety and progress. The show slices through staged safety theater and exposes how “the system” always shifts blame while pretending to reinvent itself. Real transformation happens outside compliance stunts, not inside the Board’s flavor-of-the-week campaigns.

Low-Entropy Leadership Hijack: The story gets raw when the main segment takes apart leadership BS—highlighting a rare pivot from a Black Iron Prison executive who admits failure, shuns top-down doctrine, and eats humble pie live. The conversation nukes the myth that stuck “leaders” can’t change. High-entropy garbage gets called out and bottom-up signal hacks take center stage.

Operational Noise & Signal Correction: Product recalls, contaminated supply chains, and public threats all get jammed through the signal correction. Each news hit is an example of low-entropy safety culture tanking because watchdogs ignored the frontline signal, while system actors buried risk behind paperwork and platitudes.

Feature Story News & Global Multiverse Feed
Trade War Freeze: US-India trade talks hit a solid wall after new oil tariffs and a “plateau” just as both sides flex on Russian crude and energy interests.
Election Grid Crash: Allegations of voter list hacking and 130 million people scratched from India’s rolls spark mass civil unrest, barricades and the Cockroach Youth Movement charging the system.
Marines and Mayhem: Fresh tensions strike as a US Marine is busted in Okinawa for suspected murder, igniting Tokyo’s demands for American military discipline and stoking old fires.

Bizarre Transmissions & Oddities
Frozen Berry Doomsday: Berry lovers beware—major frozen fruit brands vanish from shelves in a coast-to-coast bacterial meltdown.
Couch Raiders of Charlotte: Cops pulled a pair of living room madmen rolling a full-size couch down city streets on top of electric scooters—forget IKEA, this was improv highway carnage.
Black Bear Brawl: Idaho dad goes MMA against a black bear crashing his daughter’s room, brawling in the backyard until the wildlife “euthanizers” arrive for a PR-friendly kill.
Jaguars on Mars: Alien indie bands are the least weird thing here as the show soundtracks meltdown with tracks that even the mainstream can’t decode.

I kind of feel like a lunatic talking to myself, obstructing my mental health, distorted self- Deprecation. I tried calling all my friends. No offense, but it never helps. I can be an emotional creature, person, no reason at all. Call me melodramatic, I'm a pain in the ass.

Hour 2 and 3 is the Jay Allen in the Morning Show as we talk a little bit about everything that's going on inside of the world of the multi- Because that's just how it goes around here. So we do bring in some professional broadcasters that will talk about what the hell's going on, because hey, why would you not want that, not knowing exactly what's going on, um, inside of the information highway? No doubt about that. So with that being said, let's, um, start talking about some of the thingos, because that's, um, some of the things that I'm getting to look at around here. Some of the things that are happening. So our presentation, simple. As we bring in our professional broadcasters, they'll do everything that they get to do. I'm talking a little bit about everything that's going on, and then I'll come back with some level of a main story, and then we kind of go from there. So if, uh, you're good with all that stuff, then we know how to, um, move forward. If you're not good with that stuff, then we have to figure out what the hell we're doing. That's kind of how, uh, we do our thing. So let's do this. Let's bring in our friends from Feature Story News. Let them tell you about what the hell's going on in Newslandia. This way we know what exactly is happening, and then we are just moving forward and saying, hey, life is grand. Sounds like we're doing new stuff. Speaker E [00:04:45]:
Here is the news on the Rated R Safety Show.

Neha Punia [00:04:50]:
From feature story news in New Delhi, I'm Neha Punia. India says its trade talks with the US that have been going on since President Donald Trump's second term first began have hit a plateau. The comments coming weeks after the US passed a bill allowing the American president to impose tariffs of up to 100% on countries importing Russian crude oil. Back then, India, one of the biggest buyers of Russian oil, had said it would continue to buy energy to protect domestic interests and that it had clearly articulated the potential impact this could have on bilateral ties to the U.S. Rebecca Bonden is reporting.

Speaker G [00:05:25]:
This is the latest sign that it's proving very, very challenging for India and the U.S. to actually close a bilateral trade deal. Nirmala Sitharaman, India's finance minister, said the talks had reached a point, but beyond this, it's proving very difficult to actually secure some additional give and take to get it over the line. She said this would be very, very difficult for both countries. She said that it's been a very hard and vigorously negotiated agreement. She was speaking at an event in New Delhi. However, negotiations are continuing. These comments also come after the U.S. Trade Representative Jameson Grier said that a trade deal wasn't imminent. However, both sides are saying that these talks are continuing.

Neha Punia [00:06:10]:
Meanwhile, in New Delhi, security has been significantly ramped up as protests by opposition parties continue. The opposition is demanding the resignation of the country's election chief. They allege he has acted unilaterally to amend voter lists in a way that has benefited India's ruling party, a charge the government and the Election Commission has denied. A controversial voter revision has disenfranchised 130 million people in India, but the Election Commission claims The exercise was done to remove duplicate records in the names of deceased voters or illegal migrants. Hundreds of security personnel are deployed across New Delhi, with barricades up every few kilometers. More protests are planned later in the week, including by the popular Cockroach Youth Movement that forced India's education minister to resign a few months ago. The arrest of a US Marine on suspicion of killing a woman on the Japanese island of Okinawa has reignited longstanding tensions between America and Japan. The suspect faces a possible life sentence or the death penalty if convicted. He has denied the allegations. Kate Fisher has more on how Japan's government is pressing Washington for tougher discipline among its troops.

Kate Fisher [00:07:19]:
Uh, the American troop presence on Okinawa is very unpopular, uh, and just last year there were more than 100 arrests of either US service members or their families on the island. And of course, it is home to tens of thousands of U.S. service members. The U.S. government has continued to say that it will improve standards amongst its service personnel there that have caused so many issues with the local population.

Neha Punia [00:07:46]:
From bureaus worldwide, this is FSN.

Simon Marks [00:07:48]:
With FSN Spotlight, I'm Simon Marks. Today, a top Trump administration official insists the U.S. government does care about and respect international law, despite the president's claim earlier this year that he would be governed by by his own morality instead. I don't need international law, he told the New York Times shortly after he invaded Venezuela and captured then-President Nicolás Maduro. U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Mike Waltz is now telling Foreign Policy magazine that in fact the Trump administration is a proud follower of international law.

Speaker J [00:08:23]:
Of course it matters. We're citing it on a regular basis right now as Iran illegally And in violation of international law and the UN Law of the Sea, tries to shut down an illegal waterway. Again, you can't just start throwing sea mines out in front of global shipping. You cannot try to make the rest of the world suffer because you're a party to a dispute. I focus on the results, and the results are I have to this day Venezuelan Americans and Venezuelans themselves sending me notes for thanking us for removing the horrific dictator. dictatorship that was the, the Maduro-Chávez dictatorship.

Simon Marks [00:09:04]:
But so far, the White House has provided no justification under international law for that move, nor for many of the other steps taken on the world stage since the president's return to power. With FSN Spotlight, I'm Simon Marks.

Neha Punia [00:09:18]:
The main news again: Cornell University students hold a huge rally demanding tougher action against sexual violence on Days after a student who was allegedly gang-raped said the university failed to adequately investigate her case. After a week of student-led protests demanding more funding for education, France is bracing for nationwide protests on Tuesday. India says its trade talks with the US have hit a plateau. And that is the latest feature story news. Neha Punia reporting.

Speaker A [00:09:48]:
Rated R safety show. Sarcastic.

Kate Fisher [00:09:54]:

We are now being distributed on iHeartRadio. Listen on iHeartRadio app. Radio Big.

Speaker A [00:15:01]:
Okay, let's go. Okay, let's Let's go for sure. 15 minutes past the top of the hours, you and I are hanging out on this lovely Tuesday. So let's go ahead and start talking about some of the things that are going on inside of the world of the multiverse, because that just seems to do, or seems to be what exactly what we do around here. So if you're good with it, I'm good with it. Let's start talking right away. So I will tell you, um, a lot of stuff going on inside of the news stories because that's just kind of the way that, um, things go. I mean, there's no other way to put it. We can start attacking the majors, or we can just start talking in regards of what's going on. So take a listen to this real quick. A recall on frozen berries has expanded from Walmart and Trader Joe's products sold more than 30 states and Puerto Rico over possible E. coli contamination. Uh, the recalled, um, items include Great Value Organic Triple Berry Blend, Great Value Blueberry, and Trader Joe's Organic Mixed Berries. Customers should check their freezers and avoid, um, the recalled products and return them and get a refund or throw them away. E. coli can contain severe stomach cramps, diarrhea, and vomiting with young children and older adults, uh, and with people who can weaken their immune system. So there you go, some stuff to, uh, to give some consideration to as we are talking. So what do you think here? A lot of stuff though. A lot of stuff. So keep that in mind as we are talking. Uh, so I don't know, I look at it from the, uh, standpoint and go, wow, you know, you're just buying product. You don't know what's going on. It's like, how the hell did it get contaminated? Maybe, uh, that's the other conversation of things to, uh, discuss. So a lot of stuff going on there. So you might want to double-check those as we are going. I mean, there is a product line. It is saying that the products, uh, in the freezer said the use-by date is January 31st, 2028 and February 10th, 2028. So there you go. UPC code 7874211226. That's for the Great Value Organic Triple Blend. So a lot of stuff going on there. Let's continue talking real quick. Disney is, uh, asking advertisers as much as $12 million for a 30-second Super Bowl commercial, despite saying that the inventory for their 2027 game is already sold out. Disney is essentially creating a waiting list in case current advertisers back out, hoping to resell the spot for more money. The company initially sought $10 million per paid ad, compared to the $7 million sought by this year's Super Bowl broadcaster. Some advertisers have reportedly been frustrated with Disney's aggressive sales tactics. So there you go. What do you think here? I mean, I don't know how it's going inside of the mouse— the house of the mouse. So I don't know if they're asking for this for a particular reason or if it's kind of just one of those backup scenarios. Because think about that for a moment. If you went from $7 million this year and now the new station that's getting it is charging $10 million, but if you want to be on a waiting list, they want to make sure that, you know, anything that they have to move around— I don't know if it's worth $2 million, but think about that, $10 million. For 30 seconds. That sounds like it could be dangerous. Yeah, so I'm just saying for a moment, I don't know. I mean, I look at it from the whole standpoint of like, what would you be willing to pay $10 million for— or $2 million, better saying— for 30 seconds? That sounds like a little risky business if you ask me.

Speaker E [00:18:34]:
This show is almost as enjoyable as hearing the sound of the toilet flush. Rated R safety show on Safety FM.

Speaker A [00:18:43]:
Okay, a Cornell student who gave police screenshots, rumors, and other leads after hearing about the alleged 2024 gang rape says that she now feels betrayed by how the investigators was— or the investigation was handled. The woman speaking anonymously said that, uh, a friend contacted authorities after Cornell issued a campus safety alert about the reported sexual assault. Police later interviewed her, but according to NBC information gathered from the witness and anonymous tips never referred to local prosecutors for review. The alleged victim, identified as Jane Doe in the lawsuit filed last month, claims that 7 Chi Phi fraternity members sexually assaulted her at, at the fraternity house in October of 2024. None of the 7 men have been criminally charged, and attorneys of 3 of them have denied the allegations on the client's behalf. The fraternity was suspended and barred from campus. The case has been reopened by the New York Governor Kathy Hochul-appointed Attorney General Letitia James, a special prosecutor. The student who tried to help says that she assumed the police were handling the case properly. Looking back, she says that she feels like I wasn't enough. So there you go. What do you think about this? There's been a lot of conversations about this, that's for sure. I mean, here's the thing, we kind of are in one of those moments in time trying to figure out that whole standpoint of what exactly is going on. Let's just not lie here. And if anybody tells me that bullshit of boys will be boys, I think they should be decked in the face. Okay, maybe not really decked in the face, but you know, allegedly. I don't know, I don't know what I'm saying here, but just think about that, how stupid that shit sounds. No, this is not acceptable behavior in any context. In any context, that is not acceptable regardless of what's going on. So maybe we need to figure out what exactly happened. Maybe we need to have the discussion of this is how this one person felt, and let's have this discussion of what exactly happened in that evening. And I think that by the way that it sounds, this is going to go much further than what people are, are expecting. So we'll be paying close attention, that's for sure. We will continue to give you coverage of what exactly is happening right here on— with this particular case. I mean, we'll see what exactly happens in regards of what opens next, what happened next, what is Cornell going to do. So let's continue talking. A luxury Range Rover involved in a fatal Malibu crash that killed a longtime Nobu Malibu chef, uh, was leased by an acclaimed Hollywood composer, Harry Gregson-Williams. According to the DMV records cited by the New York Post, the 51-year-old was reported sleeping in a parked car along Pacific Coast Highway earlier Saturday when the Range Rover driven by a 16-year-old crossed the, the fog line is what they call it, and slammed into the vehicle. The chef died at the scene from multiple blunt force injuries. The teenager has been identified by authorities but has not been publicly named because of his age. Police are investigating the crash, including allegations that the SUV was traveling at a high rate of speed. It remains unclear why the teen was driving the Range Rover or the connections between he has with Gregson Williams. Gregson Williams, 64, is one of Hollywood's best-known film composers with credits including Shrek, The Chronicles of Narnia, The Martian, Man on Fire, Gladiator 2, and he told the Post that both families are grieving. The chef had worked at Nobu for about 25 years and leaves behind his wife and 2 sons. So there you go. A lot of stuff there. I don't mean— I don't know what kind of rate of speed the person might have been driving. I'm not going to make any kind of assumptions here because, you know, I'd have to do some investigation work opposed to just kind of, uh, making some assumptions that I know everything that what's going on. So what I will tell you here is the following. Most cars now, especially newer cars, are not that difficult to tell you what's happening in regards to speed. Breaking and all that stuff. So I'm sure that there will be a discussion there in regards of, uh, what's going to happen, because somebody will be able to take a look and see exactly what happened overall. Anyways, Second Lady, uh, Usha Vance had a scary moment yesterday while stepping out of a helicopter at Joint Base Andrews with her 10-week-old son Alec strapped to her chest. She nearly stumbled on the stairs but grabbed the handrail, quickly regained her footing, and stopped to make sure the baby was okay. Ushers, uh, then soothed Alec and smiled at the nearby officers before waiting for Vice President J.D. Vance and their 4-year-old daughter Maribel to exit. The family was, uh, heading to Anchorage, Alaska, where the vice president was scheduled to speak to the Republican National Committee rally supporting, uh, Senator Dan Sullivan. So there you go. Yeah, that— I mean, that's a rally for sure. As we are talking, I mean, imagine that all of a sudden you go, hey, we're gonna go to Alaska, then all of a sudden this happens. You know, you're gonna be kind of hesitant about going anywhere from that particular point. Just think about that for a moment. So a lot of stuff always going on inside of here. I don't know, we kind of tried to gather all of the information that we can get, and the problem is, is that it's always given to me. In regards of, this is what we need to talk about, this is what you need to talk about today. I look over it and then we're kind of going in real time in regards of, uh, what we're looking at and saying, hey, this is the, uh, the next thing to be discussed. So I don't know, I look at all this stuff and I go, there's a lot of stuff that is happening inside of this multiverse of ours that sometimes gets, uh, we'll call it bypass because it doesn't seem like we're discussing it. But this is one where we probably need to pay some close attention because it can affect you in the weirdest way without even realizing that it is. But dengue fever cases are rising across 14 states, with Florida seeing the biggest surge. The state has reported 485 cases this year, up from 392 just a week earlier, making it the largest dengue outbreak recorded in Florida, New York, Texas, New Jersey, Illinois, Washington, Maryland, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Kentucky, Indiana, Nebraska, Colorado, and West Virginia have also reported increases. Health officials, uh, believe that international travel and the expanding range of mosquitoes may be a contributor to the spread. CDC also has issued low-level travel advisories for Cuba, Ecuador, and Panama, where the dengue cases have surged. The virus, nicknamed breakbone fever, can cause high fever, severe headache, and intense muscle and joint pain. In serious cases, can lead up to internal bleeding and shock organ failure. Yeah, I did say shock organ failure, just in case you were wondering what the hell I said there, because that's kind of crazy just overall when you start thinking about it.

Speaker E [00:26:02]:
Another Pitfall of Our Society, rated R. Safety Show.

Speaker A [00:26:07]:
Pitfalling and spitballing is what it sounds like, uh, that is for sure. Okay, so let's continue jogging because it is definitely time to do that. But 3 University of South Alabama students are facing federal charges after investigators say that they separately posted threatening messages about President Trump ahead of his visit to Mobile campus. Authorities say that, uh, The posts appeared on TikTok and X and were, um, not coordinated. The students allegedly made comments referencing Trump's death and assassination of Charlie Kirk, while another posted messages alongside the image depicting someone holding a gun. The university condemned the post, saying that there is clear difference between free expression and unlawful threats. All 3 students are scheduled for detention hearing on Monday. And, um, if convicted, they could face up to 5 years in federal prison. One offense— or one defense attorney argues that his, uh, client never, uh, posed a genuine threat. So there you go. I mean, listen, I don't know how it works for most people, but it's definitely one of those weird things to give some consideration to, because all of a sudden you're going to be talking about a death and what your thought process is for somebody who's still alive. probably not going to get you too far. I mean, I'm just saying, I think it's kind of stupid. Just think about that for a moment where you're going to go, oh yeah, let's talk about this and then see what happens to me. I don't think that that's going to be a part of a good plan for you if you really give it, uh, some thought.

Speaker E [00:27:45]:
Safety in a way never heard of before. The Rated R Safety Show on Safety FM.

Speaker A [00:28:00]:
Hey, I'm just saying, just keeping it real as we do around here. Okay, take a listen to this one. Jim Bakker, one of the most famous, controversial, polarizing televangelists in American history, has died at the age of 86. His wife, Laurie Bakker, announced his passing yesterday through the Jim Bakker Show's Instagram account. No cause of death was shared. Laurie wrote that Bakker went home with the Lord, calling him a pioneer in Christian television and her partner through decades of ministry. She said that she, um, in his final days, his heart was still focused focused on spreading the gospel. The family is asking for privacy as they grieve. Baker's life has been a dramatic rise and fall story that played out on national television. He and his first wife, Tammy Faye Baker, became household names in the 1970s and the 1980s after founding PTL, Pass the Loot, I mean, Praise the Lord Club, a Christian talk show that exploded into a massive religious broadcasting empire. Their success led to Heritage USA, a Christian theme park in South Carolina that drew millions of visitors. But the empire collapsed under a scandal. Bakker was accused of misusing ministry funds, selling fraudulent lifetime memberships to a luxury hotel that never materialized, and diverting millions for personal use. He also faced allegations of involving church secretary Jessica Hahn, which further fueled national media coverage. In 1988, Bakker was indicted on 24 federal counts of mail and wire fraud and conspiracy. He was convicted the following year and sentenced to 45 years in prison, ultimately serving 5. Tammy Faye divorced him during the sentence, and after his release, Baker remarried Lori Beth Graham in 1998, adopted 5 children with her, and returned to broadcasting with The Jim Bakker Show in 2003. He also shared 2 children with Tammy Faye, Jay Bakker and Tammy Sue Bakker Chapman. So there you go. Sad to hear about his passing, that is for sure. But yeah, I remember back in the day when that scandal happened. Yeah, that's how old I am, um, that I remember that actually going down. It was a big, uh, media hoopla in regards to what was going on. But terrible to hear about his passing. You know, that's the— that's always a bad thing that you always have to think about when somebody passes away. Why do we have to bring up that shit that happened to him years and years ago? It's not going to help anything. It's just one of those things that we're just bringing it up to bring it up. That's the way that it looks. So let's start talking about some other things. Let's talk about the world of the odd for a moment. An Idaho family, uh, father went head-to-head with a black bear after he broke into the family's home and tried to enter his teenage daughter's bedroom. Brian Henderman confronted the bear and wrestled with it in the backyard before his wife and their dog joined the fight. He suffered serious injuries including deep arm lacerations while his wife and dog had minor injuries. The family escaped safely, and wildlife officials later tracked down and euthanized the bear and mother and another cub. Okay, why do we use such pretty terms? They killed the bear, its mother, and another cub. Let's get the story straight on what exactly we're meaning here. I mean, what the fuck? So there you go. Yes, the bear did attack, is what it sounded like, and then they killed it. And I understand that. It's one of those weird things. I don't ever understand the terminology of it, but I will say it: once you taste blood, it's all downhill from there.

Speaker B [00:31:40]:
Duh.

Speaker A [00:31:40]:
So there you go. I don't know. We'll leave that for another conversation, for another conversation, that's for sure. Anyway, Charlotte, um, Mecklenburg Police pulled over 2 men after spotting them cruising down South Tyrant Street on an actual couch balanced across 2 electric scooters. Police called it a first and warned that while the setup was creative, it was definitely not safe for a busy road. Officers even joked that, uh, the mobile furniture display are probably, uh, the best left to IKEA. It's unclear whether the men were cited or not, but definitely something to talk about. I mean, if you're— just imagine that for a moment. You're going down the path, you take a look around, and voilà, you see it. You see the guy riding down the road with the couch. You're probably gonna have some questions. Just throwing that out there. Anyways, 32 minutes past the top of the hour. You know what it is. I know what it is. Let's do it.

Speaker E [00:32:34]:
Here is our main story on the Rated R Safety Show.

Speaker A [00:32:38]:
You know, I have to tell you, I get so confused. I get so perturbed in regards of what happens. I get so bothered because there's just no other way to put it in regards of some of the things that are happening inside of the world of the multiverse. So with that being said, let me kind of go down a particular subject matter for a moment. I want you to think about this because I'm sure you're probably involved in a career, or maybe you've started a career, or maybe you're, you're noticing that there's a lot less road in front of you in the remainder of this career, um, than there were. There's a lot more road behind you than what there is in front. And let's talk about that for a moment. I want you to think about this. I want you to think about not some of those leaders that you might've had that every time the wind blows, they change their mind. I want you to think about those leaders that all of a sudden genuinely changed the way they used to do something. The leader generally changed how they thought about certain circumstances inside of the workplace. Now, I will tell you, many, many, many, many moons ago, and I'm talking many moons ago, I worked at an organization and this organization brought in a whole bunch of people from other companies. Now, the funny part was the culture of the organization that I was hired into They were trying to change it, and they were trying to really look into the future on what could be better for them as an organization. And the funny part was that they had this guy that everybody claimed that he was a hard-ass, that he was one of those guys that was in your face, do it my way or it's not going to be done at all. I will hold you accountable regardless of the outcome. Now, this gentleman, when I met him, extremely nice guy, younger guy. We talked, we interacted, and everybody had told me how terrible he was as a person. Never came across that way. Now, the organization was going through a change and boom, They had put this guy in charge of what they called Generation C centricity, customer-centric. So that's why the Generation C label. And this guy all of a sudden went from being the man of this is how the things are done to let's do a bottom-up approach. Let's hear what your ideas are and move them forward. And people couldn't believe it. People were shocked. People kept on looking at it and going, this makes absolutely no sense. Why would he do that? And I remember sitting in a meeting with multiple leaders, multiple leaders throughout that district. And he was the— what was he at the time? He was the regional manager. Or matter of fact, no, he was the district manager. Now that I think about it, he was the district manager. He made it to regional after that, but he was the district manager. And he did something that I had never seen anybody do until that point in life. He stood up there in front of all of those people and he said that he apologized. For the person that he had been up to that point. And then he turned around and said this, I want you to tell me where I have failed you as a leader prior to today. And people were shocked because they were not sure how to respond to that. One guy stood up and said, you are eventually going to hold this against me later on. He said that he would not. And people noticed that he was waiting. And then he pointed out that nobody was saying anything. So he said something about himself. And he said that he failed on how he approached things in life when it came to the business, that sometimes he wasn't open enough to listen to what others had to say. And that this was the opportunity for that to change. And he did that in front of a group. And then he said it and the room was kind of quiet. They waited, not sure if there was going to be a punchline. And then someone said, I would like to say what I don't like. And he allowed them to say it. No harm, no foul, no yelling. And then slowly, not everyone, but a good chunk of people People started saying what they disliked until that point of being there. But then something extremely strange occurred. It went from disliking to, here's some ideas of how you can improve. Now listen, I'm not going to tell you and sit here and go, oh yes, everything was perfect and we all lived happily ever after, because that's a bullshit story. Because I would be lying to you if I told you that that's what occurred. What happened was the following. That man changed the person that he was. I'm sure it was not on that day, but he changed the person that he was because he knew that he was not listening to what should be happening from the organization, from the people that were there, from the people doing the work. He humbled himself as a leader. To say, hey, I am willing to listen to my failures. Now, here's the funny part. It's not that he failed anyone. Maybe he didn't do things correctly in other people's point of view to that point, but he was willing to do something that most people won't— ask what are their failures and have them point them out in a public setting. The other thing that he did was that he was willing to listen. Now, I will tell you that organization did not survive in the, in the long run. They ended up collapsing years later. But I could tell you that that man changed. That guy ended up going to another company. He ended up working somewhere else. He's been extremely successful from what I can tell throughout the years. And it's amazing that him being humble after being so strict, how things change. Now, what I want you to think about today is the following. If you look at this and realize sometimes people will change their mind. Now, don't get me wrong, I'm not talking about those fair-weather people that are in leadership that all of a sudden the way the wind blows, everything moves. I'm talking about there will be leaders. That will be hardcore with X for a period of time and then change their mind on how things should be. And let that be okay. This doesn't only apply into one segment of business, it applies to different segments of business. And I know we tend to use that phrase quite a bit, flavor of the week, but maybe leadership's not just doing flavor of the week. Maybe they're truly understanding finally that shit's about to get real. Oops, what did he just say?

In safety, in my opinion, you woke up. You saw the system, the simulation, the structure that trained you to mistake compliance for care. Safety mutation. Information misdirection picks up where the signal fractured. Because the system didn't shut you down, it rebranded you. It packaged your voice, sold your rebellion As a new initiative. And smiled while doing it. This isn't a manual. It's a decoded transmission about what happens when slogans replace stories, when safety becomes marketing, and when truth gets mirrored so perfectly you forget it was ever yours. You'll see the mutation. Learning teams turned into theater. Zero harm turned into optics. And feedback turned into formatting. But the signal didn't die. It was redirected. Safety Mutation is book 2 of the Signal Transmission Trilogy. Available now in print, Kindle, and audiobook. Narrated by the author, Jay Allen, PhD. Because the system adapted. Now it's your move.

And let him tell us about the Motivation Minute.

John Smalls [00:48:22]:
Courtesy of JaceCaseMedical.com. Today's quote was submitted by Mark. Henry Ford said, whether you think you can or think you can't, you're right. That's a pretty powerful thought. Our attitude doesn't guarantee success, but it certainly can affect whether we even try. Think about starting something new. If you tell yourself, I can't do this, you probably already found 10 reasons why it's just not gonna work. But if you think, I don't know how to do this yet, suddenly you're looking for ways to learn. That's a big difference. In business and in life, you don't need to know everything before you begin. You just need to believe that there is a way forward. So today, when you catch yourself saying I can't, try adding one simple little word: I can't yet. You might be surprised by what happens. It could be the motivation you need need to succeed. This has been the Motivation Minute. I'm John Small. Thanks for listening. Your favorite motivational quotes can be submitted for upcoming programs at motivationminute.org.

Haslett later pleaded guilty in a banking charge with, um, hush money payment covering his sexual abuse of teenage boys and served 13 months in prison. That's why— is that why we're saying that he stepped away? See, why are we bringing this I don't know why we're bringing this up after the person died. Doesn't make sense to me. So I guess that's one way to look at it. Anyways, I appreciate the time this morning. I know who you are.
