Listen along as I speak with special guests on how to thrive in all aspects of life. Hi, I'm Edna. Like many of you, I wear many hats. I'm a military wife, mother, author, certified John Maxwell business and executive coach, trainer, and founder of Favor and wealth, where we help the good guys win. So tune in as we bring on the light. Well, hello everyone.
Edna Harding [00:00:48]:
Thank you for tuning in for another episode of the Esprinner podcast. My name is Edna Harding, and I just want to welcome you all. Thank you guys for just being such a blessing to me. Me. The fact that you're listening to this podcast shows that my time with the Lord has been fruitful because I started this podcast over five years ago, and I always ask the Holy Spirit, like, what exactly do you want me to share? And. And it's specifically for those people who are actually listening to this and the fact that you guys are back, especially for those who've been listening for quite some time. I just want to say thank you, thank you, thank you encouraging me in ways that you don't even know. And I just want to speak a blessing over you because I know that every word, every seed that's planted in your heart and in your spirit will bear fruit this season.
Edna Harding [00:01:45]:
And yes, I'm going to say that again in this season, not next season, but this season that you're in. Okay? So, Father, I thank you, Lord God, that your word says that it is you, oh God, who brings forth the harvest. So every seed that is planted in my dear brother and sister who's listening to this podcast have been that have been just like fertile being fertilized in their soil or in their spirit will bear fruit. This season, we seal it with the name of Jesus Christ and the blood of Jesus that was shed for guaranteed fruits in our lives. And we ask you, Holy Spirit, to hover over the chaos. And we speak peace over everything. And we thank you, Lord God, that things will be in order according to the word that has been revealed. Reveal to my brother and sister, not just today, but from days before and days ahead.
Edna Harding [00:02:40]:
We love you, we honor you, we thank you for all these things in Jesus mighty name. Amen. All right, so in this episode, we're going to continue on when it comes to the solar system. If you guys. And again, I don't know when my editor is going to publish each Podcast. But if you haven't listened to a first podcast regarding the solar system, I'm sure that you will listen to it at some point. But this week we're going to continue on the solar system theme and we're going to talk about positioning, specifically positioning of different planets, okay? And why every business needs perfect positioning, okay? And so let's think, talk about the different planets first. So you have Venus, which actually scorches.
Edna Harding [00:03:34]:
Then you have Mars, that freezes. And then you have Earth. That's exactly 93 million miles. Supports life, okay? Supports life. And that precision is what I call the glory zone, okay? Because some entrepreneurs may be burning too hot, which means they are over promising or over pricing. Then you have others that are too cold, which means they undercharge and they lose value. And so in today's episode, we're going to talk about positioning and how that is so important when it comes to business success. So I want to say that if you study the solar systems, that 1% of the orbital shift actually kills a planet.
Edna Harding [00:04:28]:
So if you move just 1% off to the right or to the left, down or south, it will kill the planet. Which means when God created the planets, he per. He purposely placed each planet in the right place so that it's balance. So the different layers, as far as the gravity, the atmosphere, the magnetic fields, like all of that was synchronized so that planet can outlive for billions and billions of years. Now imagine this. That God orchestrated all of this. He determines the number of the stars, for example, in Psalms 147:4. So if he can position planets precisely, he can position your business perfectly.
Edna Harding [00:05:13]:
Do you hear me, my friends? If he positions planets precisely, he can position your business perfectly. So let me give you examples. You have Esther, who was divinely placed in the palace. I was gonna say castle in the palace. For such a time as this, you have Joseph where his setbacks was strategic steps so that he could get into the palace with the pharaoh, right? And. And then you have the promise of God that in Romans 8:28, where he says God works all things for our good, including our placement. So what does this mean? Okay, number one, you can't be too hot. And number two, you can't be too cold, okay? Meaning you can't overprice without proof, okay? You can't pretend you're something that you're not.
Edna Harding [00:06:01]:
You also can't be too cold, meaning you're like just giving it all away where you're not profitable could. God wants his people to prosper. He wants us to be profitable. So you can't underprice, you can't provide offers that are invisible. Okay? Meaning you don't tell people how good you are. Okay? You can't be ping ponging between these two extremes. You gotta be right in the center. And what does that look like? Well, the perfect positioning is when you know what the market offers.
Edna Harding [00:06:31]:
So you research competitor prices, you research client expectations, you research market readiness. You gotta gauge the temperature of the market. Okay? And. And then you gotta. You gotta do. Look at the gravitational forces, which means what are the things that is going to basically affect your business? So you gotta map the push pull of client needs, of competition, of economy, of strengths. And I know it sounds like, wow, like, how am I gonna do all of this? Yes, there are a lot of technology and software which I give access to my clients to. I have access to the latest and greatest thing you can access to counsel where you could identify that.
Edna Harding [00:07:14]:
Okay, There is atmospheric protection. What does that mean? You have to have shields. Okay, and what are those shields or protection against your business. You have testimonials, you have certifications, you have social proof, you have wise counsel. Those things are all protection for your business. Then you have magnetic calibration, which means you're not too confident, you're not too weak, but your. Your message truly has true value. Meaning you, you're providing such valuable content that it's not fluff.
Edna Harding [00:07:46]:
It's not like pride, but it's truth. Okay? Truth based on facts. Okay? Based on what you have actually done. Okay? And then the orbital stability means you're. You're stable. You're in the same place at the same time, which means you have consistent messaging, your pricing doesn't increase dramatically. And then you just. It's just steady, right? Little by little, day by day, from glory to glory.
Edna Harding [00:08:14]:
Right. And how do you do that? You do a qbr, A quarterly business review with the Holy Spirit. This is what I do on a regular basis. I come to the Father and I show them all, like my financials, show them my report, show them my, you know, my analysis for the past few months, the past 90 days. I look at the strengths, the weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of my business. I look at even my own evaluation of myself on how I handle certain things, how I can improve and so forth. You have to have these systems in place so that you can ensure that you're consistent and you're stable in your output and stable in your productivity. Okay.
Edna Harding [00:08:54]:
All right. So how do we. So just a recap of what we just Discussed, you want four things. Number one, you want to audit your market, your pricing, and your positioning. Number two, you want to strengthen your credibility utilizing what, testimonials, content frameworks, and so forth. Right? Like, is it still working? Regard from like, for example, if you created a framework five years ago, is it still working this year? Right. So for me, I had to pivot and change a few things, get rid of the fluff and just really, the more simple it is, the better, just put it that way. You don't want to over complicate the process.
Edna Harding [00:09:28]:
You want to get solutions and tangible results for your clients as quickly as possible. So you remove the stuff that is not relevant. Does that make sense? The third thing you need to do is you need to make sure that your price and your message works. And you, how do you do that? You test it with prospect and prospects, and you test it with clients. And last but not least, you want to review everything. And you continuously evolve. You continually progress. Right? The truth doesn't change, but the delivery can change.
Edna Harding [00:10:04]:
Does that make sense? So you could change. You could. It's kind of like a phone. Back then the phone was like huge and heavy. Now the phones are thin and easy and has more features and benefits. So the same thing happens. So you're still communicating with people, but the delivery hasn't changed. So whatever solution God gave you, that doesn't change.
Edna Harding [00:10:29]:
It's just a delivery part changes. Does that make sense? All right, so my, I guess my. My biggest thing for you guys for this week's episode is to write down, you know, the answers to these questions, reflect on it, ask the Holy Spirit to reveal to you what needs to get done and just do it. Right? And so, yeah, I hope this week's episode bless you. I hope this week just you, you just apply all these things. Like, these are action items that I tell my clients how to do all the time. And I. If you do these things, it will help you move your needle forward when it comes to your business.
Edna Harding [00:11:03]:
Let me just pray a closing prayer and then we could call it a day. So, Father, we thank you for positioning us perfectly. Help us find that sweet spot where our calling meets market needs. Give us wisdom, give us clarity. Give us courage to step into our goldilock zone or glory zone, right? And help us, Lord God, to just shine so bright so that our business can prosper and our kingdom impact can grow. We love you, we honor you, thank, thank you for all these things. In Jesus mighty name. Amen.
Edna Harding [00:11:39]:
