Hey 100X Lifers, welcome back to the podcast. Today I'm in Dallas, Texas, with a city client serving their executive team tomorrow. I'm very excited about it. And so a little bit on the road. And I'm excited also to share a bigger vision for 100x life with you and then invite you to invest. That's right, up until now.
Nancy and I have been the primary investors in 100x life. we don't make any money from the book. Amazon does. We don't. We're we're not trying to fix that. We want to make sure that this stays a ministry. but we're inviting other people to partner with us. People have asked me how do I give to 100x life? So I'm gonna I'm gonna tell you the story, the vision.
we're headed into. And then if that's something that you want to invest in, you want to partner with, then definitely let's go. So what's the vision for 100x life? As you know, it's my heart and has been my life's commitment and calling. The work that I believe Jesus called me to do on this planet is to make it practical to follow Jesus, to actually live his words in a way that we
could possibly reach the abundant life that promises. There's just too many Christians sitting in pews on Sunday who are fools. They are fools because they've not taken seriously and put into practice the things that Jesus commanded. And then so they're coming up short with the abundant life. They've got complaints. they're discouraged. They're frustrated. And
Part of the problem is in church, we don't focus necessarily on that. We tend to focus on the lost, the people who haven't heard about Jesus. But as we know from 100x lives, saying yes to Jesus is easy. And in that moment, we all did it. We came forward, we were feeling the power of God, and we said yes to Jesus. And then almost like the pastor after the calling people to receive Jesus.
Needs to have like a one-on-one talk. Or let hey, now that you've received Jesus, let's have a personal talk. Let me tell you, this is gonna require everything of you. You're gonna have to do very hard things. You're gonna have to change the way you think about just about everything. And so you've said yes to Jesus, but now we're going to follow him. We're going to actually trust him. We're going to get in the love gym. We're going to
Have an abiding mindset. We're going to have an eternal mindset. We're going to transform the way you think so that you can live the words of Jesus and so that you can be a hundred percent expression of his love flowing through you. Wouldn't that be amazing if a pastor gave that talk and and asked people, invited people to count the cost of saying yes to Jesus to really paint
an accurate picture of what it means to follow Jesus. And it's not, it's just not easy. You know, Jesus says, repent. We talked about this last week. If you didn't listen to last week's podcast, it was a summary of all the things we've been learning on 100x life, a summary on how we actually repent. And as a Christian, repent.
I hope you know by now means change the way you think. This is the first thing that Jesus says to do. And repentance, changing the way you think, is hard. It it it takes extra brain power. Your your brain is actually wired to use the least amount of energy possible. Have you ever gotten to the place where you're you've been studying something and your just brain is just hurting? Your brain is revolting from trying to change it.
It's a homeostasis. The brain is designed to stay the same. And that that's for good reason. God designed us to cling to patterns. That's good. We wouldn't have habits if it wasn't for homeostasis. But changing habits and actually putting in the energy to change, now that's hard. And that's what Jesus asked us to do. And my vision for this 100X Life movement is that countless individuals.
and primarily Christians. This this ministry is focused on Christians. This is not a say yes to Jesus ministry. That is, it's addressed to people who have said yes to Jesus, and now we're gonna get the transformation that He promises in the life. And as you know from the parable of the sower, every single word seed of Jesus is 100x capacity.
But some get zero capacity or thirty or sixty because they have not done the work or they're not putting in the work of repentance and changing the way they think so that they can align their spirit, their mind and their body.
With a word of Jesus and then express that. We call that fruit or reproduction is the 100x life word. We reproduce the kingdom in every one of his words. And you've got to be ninja at that. My vision is that we would have so many Christians who are expressing God's love. Remember.
Christians are the reputation of Jesus. He used to walk the planet Earth. He was walking on planet Earth and people could follow him, and now you still follow him, but we are the body of Christ. he is the mind of that body, but we are the ones who are walking around on planet Earth. We're the ones who will express or not express Jesus' call to love behaviors. The the community.
The United States, our city, our neighbors, they will all experience Jesus through us. What kind of Jesus will they experience? What will Jesus' reputation be because of you? And so my vision is that we would have a church, a body of Christ that is fully engaged in repentance and changing the way they think, that's fully engaged at getting in the gym, the mind gym, the soul gym.
And the physical gym and the body, getting in shape, and then getting in the love gym and actually practicing the behaviors of love to the extent where people say to your life and so many other people's lives, that man, that woman is full of love. And I hear they love Jesus. Wouldn't it be cool if no longer we would hear this? I I thought he was a Christian. Is that how Christians act?
I I I'll never forget when we were at the Brat House and we hired all Christians. We had a restaurant, a a bar and Brat House, and it was right next to the House of Prayer in Santa Barbara. And when we opened, we hired all Christians. And I found out really quick that was the wrong move. It turned out that pre-Christians had more honor, had more honesty, less likely to steal from us. It was just, it was just crazy.
And that is has become, unfortunately, with many people, the reputation of Christians in business, for instance.
How do we flip that upside down? We do it through the 100x life movement. We do it because people take the words of Jesus seriously, they count the cost, and they get in the gym and they do the hard work of enduring trials. And when endurance has had its perfect work, transforming their lives into behaviors of love. That is my vision. I want to see it in so many churches. And the way we're going to do that, and this is what the 100x Life team has discovered,
is the way
The way we're gonna do that is we're gonna do that through coaches.
Coaches are people like you who have taken the 62-day challenge and they say, hey, I want to coach people. Maybe it's in the challenge, maybe it's outside of the challenge, but I want to, I want to walk them through the words of Jesus. I want to be in a discussion with them, not because I've got it all figured out, but because I know what this repentance process looks like. I've tasted it, I've wrestled with it, and I'm ready to share this journey with other people, to introduce to them what Jesus is saying about.
Being a fool or wise, the difference just putting his words into practice and taking that seriously and doing that in groups. It's gonna be coaches, just like you, taking more and more groups, and then those people becoming coaches, forming a group, and then people in those groups becoming coaches. And so that is what we are doing. And to do that, we are building an app.
Right now, everything in 100x life has lived on a website and we'll still have a website, but we are building an app that will contain all of the things about the 62 day challenge. It'll it'll include the the community, no more telegram. It will include ways of checking off the lists that you're doing. It will show you active growth as you follow Jesus and you wrestle and you get into the trials and you try and you fail and you try and you just get up again.
Again, every time you fail to try more because the cross has created this gym where we get to do that. So the app is going to guide you through that process. And then when you become a coach, you will have a different platform on that same app and you'll be able to invite people into the 62-day challenge this January. You'll be able to do that through the app. You don't even have to do the website anymore. Everything can happen through the app. So the team is working very diligently. I just want to give a shout out to Tom

You've heard him on the podcast before. This is really his dream to have this app go forward. And so, man, I am so excited and thrilled for his passion for 100x life. He was the one who instigated the first 100x Life church experience. And we want to see this happen. And so thank you, Tom, for that. And then Nancy and I have invested additional money and resource with Jenna and a man named KC who are making it a
an excellent app. We want it to be an just excellent app to have the feel so when you open it up, it feels like a great app, feels like you can be a part of it. We don't want to make life more complicated for you with more apps. But in this one setting of 62- day challenge, this commitment, this app we believe is going to really move the needle on more coaches having access to build teams and then we we're going to see a compound effect on that.
So the app is a huge thing. We also have resources. Jenna Dee is the the team behind the podcast. So we're constantly using her to produce the podcast. She does such an amazing job. and then keeping the movement going, more content being written, more books being published.
I'm actually working on something extremely exciting in addition to the book I'm writing for this next year is a harmony gospel, a 100xLife Harmony Gospel where you can hold the gospels in order, chronological order.
And read them. And man, if you're a student of Jesus, you want a harmony gospel. In fact, you go out and buy one now. not from my website, but everyone, different people have one. I'm designing one.
that I wanna use because I love them so much. So it's gonna be spiral bound, probably fold flat, so it's easy to read and take notes on, and then highlight of course the words of Jesus and his 55 commands. So we have so much going on. I think that Nancy and I could just continue to do this investment. I don't I don't see us God willing
having any less finances to be able to do and fund the 100xLife but we also don't want to hog the investment. We wanna invite other people who want to make a difference in the kingdom, who want to give, to leverage. Again, something
Very unique. We're not funding the first decision to say yes. What we're funding and investing in is the transformation once someone has said yes. So if you're like me and you're frustrated with people in the the pews not putting his words into practice, not abiding in him, cutting themselves short on experience the glorious, the I even ecstasy of Holy Spirit and Jesus and all the abundance that.
He offers us right now, everything that we would desire from the world or think we would get from the world, beautiful love, transactions with a Holy Trinity, all of that is available to us if we would only practice the words of Jesus, if we would only understand how to change the way we think.
To adjust to these behaviors of love. And the thing that I am extremely careful about is how we steward your money. We're gonna make sure that it absolutely
does get a return on investment, a kingdom of a return on investment that you're looking for.
