nice and easy going into the weekend and

you slide in yeah just i like it

smooth yeah smooth it's smooth silky

smooth love it dude you know it's smooth

man there it is the rest of it

was released on uh

on good lord spotify last night at like

eleven o'clock my time so i haven't had

a chance to listen to it but i

saw some stuff on there that i want

to listen to oh dude yesterday i just

haven't had a chance to like there's some

covers on there that i am highly

interested in so they had three that were

like basically like teasers hey this is

what's you know this is these are going

to be on the album or whatnot so

i listened to those yesterday and those

are all fantastic

Yeah.

And then there's some other stuff on there

that like, I'm really, really excited.

I'm gonna check it out.

That's probably this afternoon.

I'll have it on.

Just have it in play.

So.

i love you was released yesterday on

spotify yes phenomenal cover phenomenal

cover so it took me a second because

i was looking i was going i know

i know this song like i know i

know this song because there's a lot of

songs named i love you i love you

blah blah whatever right and then i went

and played i was like oh that's what

that is yeah holy smokes that is really

really good um i wish it would rain

by the temptations yep phenomenal um

Night Moves by Bob Seger.

Yep.

Another Grand Slam out the park.

The band is so good.

They really are.

So good.

They are so tight.

I don't usually generally get this excited

overnight.

I mean, I usually get excited.

But I'm like,

this has been a great listen.

It's a great, like, just chillin'.

I want to hear,

I want to listen to,

have you ever seen the rain?

The ballet Curtis low.

Like if that mind your own business is

what I think it is.

I definitely need to check that out.

Like, I mean,

the whole album looks fantastic.

So I'll listen to that this afternoon.

Yeah, it is.

And it's got that gritty Southern feel to

it.

Yeah.

They came,

they came in a concert anywhere around

here.

I would try to go.

Yeah, me too.

Great.

They got lumped into the hair band when

they really weren't a hair band.

No.

They were more of a blues rock,

Aerosmith-ish.

They were southern rock at a time when

southern rock wasn't a big deal at the

time.

If you were going to lump them in

with anything,

that's the closest thing I would put them

towards.

yeah um it's gonna be a quick show

today because i got a one o'clock meeting

who schedules an afternoon meeting on a

friday whoever they are should be shot

communist that's who uh tessa we're

talking about tesla huh yeah i just got

this album yesterday uh it is freaking

awesome

if you love classic rock it is it

is an album for you and it's went

live on spotify last night midnight my

time eleven pm cory's time yep oh it

is uh called oh homage and it's all

covers but they are unbelievably good

covers so highly recommend go and listen

to it yeah um and it's smooth you

know what else is smooth

That right before bed thirdsy,

chug it down.

However you do.

And fall asleep so freaking fast and get

the best recovery,

get the best night's sleep you can

possibly get.

thirdsy thirdsy.com backslash jazzy

fifteen percent off or just use promo code

jazzy at checkout i do you see the

reverse jazzy oh i like that uh trying

to shake it up a little bit uh

you're fifteen percent off i like it i

don't know why that just brought this up

i guess because you did like this um

I don't remember what the conversation

started with yesterday,

but my wife said that she had saw

John Cena on something and me and Brody

both at the same time went,

how did you know?

I said, because you can't see him.

Yeah.

That's a good dad joke by far.

Yeah.

Me and Brooke were both in the living

room when she said that,

and we both stopped and looked at each

other and was like,

how would you even know if you saw

John Cena?

There's no possible way you could know.

Wayne,

adding it to the playlist for the road

trip to the games,

it is the perfect playlist for ranch

workouts.

Oh, yeah, I would say so.

Gritty.

Gritty.

Yeah, perfect.

Perfect Wednesday playlist for the games.

It's a pleasant gritty.

It's not like a gritty where you're like,

hmm.

Where you're like,

and it feels like there's all kinds of

stuff in your mouth.

It's like it's a good gritty.

Yeah.

Just throwing that out there.

Yesterday we talked a lot about things

that pissed people off.

So I wanted to start today's show off

with something fun.

okay good that's about to say because i

was on my way to uh after i

got my haircut this morning on my way

to the office and i said if anybody

mentions flow elite i'm just shutting them

down right there because i do not want

to talk about it again um

don't care if we talk about it again

but i don't want to talk about it

right now correct so fan fanatics fanatics

fest is going on in new york city

it is uh they you they sell sports

stuff and they bring in a lot of

sports stars and people sponsor well

louisiana's own raising canes was a major

sponsor at the fanatics fest and they

brought in rob gronkowski

To be in the cane sauce dunk booth.

Tell me that is exactly what I think

it is.

It is exactly what you think it is.

So I'm going to hit play here.

And what you'll see is look who showed

up.

Tom Brady.

How about that?

Tom Brady shows up to heckle his former

receiver.

And they have some chat back and forth.

Gronk's going, I made you.

I made you.

And now he's talking some more smack.

And it takes Brady all of one shot

to dunk Gronk in the cane sauce.

Which might be the greatest sauce man has

ever made.

So if you've never been to Raising Cane's,

their chicken by itself is nothing to

write home about.

Like, it's good,

but it's really nothing to write home

about.

The sauce that Gronk is currently covered

in at that point is what makes that

chicken.

Period.

So good.

And the bread, dude.

Their bread is fantastic.

Come on, man.

It's just Texas toast.

I don't care.

I don't know if they put more butter

on it than I was expecting every single

time I've ever had it or whatnot.

Also,

if you dunk the bread into the sauce,

holy smokes.

They're sandwiches because they do sell

sandwiches or just lettuce,

the Texas toast,

whatever they put on the Texas toast on

a bun and the sauce and freaking chicken

fingers.

It's fantastic.

yeah uh avera raising canes is a chicken

joint it started in louisiana started in

the dorm room at lsu yeah and originally

has grown into one of the biggest chicken

franchises in the country yeah i don't

know if todd's an actual billionaire yet

but he's probably pretty freaking close if

not there's a there's a raising canes in

times square we actually eat there

whenever brody played at uh carnegie hall

because we were walking by we want

something quick

I go Zaxby's with nuclear sauce.

I went to Zaxby's.

I was not impressed, dude.

They opened one in Gonzales and I was

like, okay, cool.

A different chicken finger.

And they have like flavors and stuff and

everything tasted burnt.

and it was brand the place was brand

new so it's like they hadn't like they

brought oil from somewhere else like so

there's actually this closing grab all

their their oil that they used to fry

it and it just tasted burnt i did

not yeah um tesla says i can only

eat chicken that i prepare i understand

but like here it's gotten so big that

if you go to like a graduation party

you go to a birthday party yeah there's

a tray of raising kane's chicken fingers

Everybody does that here too.

They either get a tray of Raising Cane's

Fingers or they'll get nuggets from

Chick-fil-A, like one of the two,

because it's super easy.

You can order it ahead of time,

go pick it up.

But I will say this,

that reminds me of my dad.

He would never order chicken in a

restaurant.

my dad for like and he probably still

doesn't um i haven't eaten out with him

in quite some time but he would never

order a chicken in a restaurant the

thought being was that i can make yard

bird at home is is yard bird different

than street bird

And Yardbird is probably different than

Streetbird,

considering he's from Morgan City,

Louisiana,

and we're too much about them streets out

there.

Yeah,

I would say Yardbird is definitely

different than Streetbird.

And inside joke for those of you in

the chat,

I was talking about Costco's Chicken

Street Tacos,

but I said it's Street Chicken Tacos.

Them street chickens, dog.

Yeah.

That's what happens if you go down to

like, you know,

the Puerto Rican quarter somewhere and

there's just chickens walking around on

the streets.

That's the street you probably don't want

to eat.

I'm just throwing that out there.

Yeah.

So just so you know,

we go off the rails off air as

much as we do on air.

A hundred percent.

It's the same show.

It's just one of them's live and one

of them's not.

Yeah.

Chicken tacos from Costco.

I'm hurt.

Joseph, I've never had your chicken tacos.

I've never had tacos from you.

And until we meet,

until we meet in San Jose,

I got to do what I can to

get through the day.

And you had better bring tacos.

I'm just saying.

Joseph's going to have a pocket taco,

kind of like your pocket jerky.

He's going to just pull it out of

his hoodie and be like,

brought you a taco.

yeah screech pocket tacos like my pocket

jerky we can do a trade absolutely uh

screech chicken screech chicken dog uh

free range street chicken that's free

right that's what you want right there

those chickens is happy they just out

there on the street just doing that you

better come with a switchblade

I'm glad Meg and Joseph are here.

There was a thing on the radio this

morning that they said they were talking

about the ranking of the top five fittest

cities.

in the country in arlington virginia and

then washington dc were number one and

number two same thing i mean it's you

can walk from one to the other yeah

i would think so but the first thing

i thought it was like why because joseph

and meg are there like i don't understand

how it seems kind of skewed to say

like that two places that are right next

to each other yeah they they skew the

numbers for sure yeah uh train says pocket

taco sounds like something else you know

Okay,

I just walking around this pocket taco.

I did.

That's when there's probably arrested

somebody that was doing something they

weren't supposed to be doing with a pocket

taco.

I had to get that out moving right

along.

All right.

Oh, yeah, Kate's there too.

You jerk.

Oh, sorry, Kate.

That's probably how I got actually said

Kate to trash talking.

That is.

Look,

that's as close as she's going to get.

As close as she's going to get.

Called me a jerk.

All right.

One more thing I wanted to show.

They announced a sandbag with a handle the

other day.

Yep.

So there are people out there practicing.

Sure.

Did you see Guy practice?

I did not.

So I'm going to cut this over,

and I've paused it where I want you

to kind of examine what's happening here.

So he tosses the bag.

Do you see Miss Green Pants back here?

Just casually walking right into the line

of fire.

So she was not in the picture when

he picked up the sandbag.

So that's on her at that point.

And he looked behind to make sure nobody

was there.

Then when he bent over to pick up

the sandbag and went to toss it,

the meat nugget known as Jennifer

Androsiak.

Jessica Androsiak.

Jessica Androsiak, yeah.

Starts walking into the path of said

launched torpedo.

Down, baby, downrange.

You cannot be downrange when fire is

necessary.

The range officer should be fired.

Like that's not even on gear at that

point.

So Jessica now needs new shorts and we'll

see how this ends.

See chicken.

No way.

And then she walks right into the line

of fire.

Oh,

our heart rate just spiked like two Oh

five.

Some crazy like that.

Oh, even the dog was excited about that.

Yeah.

I'd imagine so.

That is crazy.

Yeah.

That is something that would happen at my

affiliate.

Yeah.

I mean, that's so much dog.

The dog's like, Holy shit.

What happened?

Why is everything?

Why is everything?

Yeah.

Ramirez has got a point.

She is pretty solid.

She could have taken that.

She, she had a tank that hit.

That wouldn't have been a big deal.

Like if it had hit it,

it just kind of would have bounced off

and he would have called it good.

Can we talk about the, the, the, the,

the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the,

the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the,

the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the,

the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the,

the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the,

the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the,

the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the,

the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the,

the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the,

the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the,

the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the,

the, the, the, the, the, the,

the

I said,

we're going to put a sign up,

no texting and walking.

Sorry.

All right.

Let's do these in order.

Sure.

I know I'm putting rails on our show

here.

It's a shame.

I won't lose my train of thought probably.

So event.

Is said.

Yep.

I see a lot of people up in

arms, including my own chats,

my own tech strings.

Sure.

That it is, there are different systems,

a one,

two hundred sprint and a five hundred

sprint are different systems.

And I get that.

It's still a sprint.

It's definitely not a trail run.

It's definitely not miles.

It's not a five K. Yeah,

it is a shorter run.

Yeah,

but you're still running to try to win.

So you can, it's a sprint.

I mean,

you might not be sprinting as if you

were running a hundred meters.

Sure.

I understand that,

but it is still in fact, a sprint.

Anyway,

it is much faster than anything we

normally see at the games.

God.

Yes.

Right.

So I get it.

And.

very own carolyn is over here talking

about why it's not a sprint so and

i understand the science behind that it's

not i don't consider a sprint it's more

of an anaerobic speed endurance run would

have loved to see who's the fastest

sprinter in the field yeah okay well

So it didn't, then it didn't come.

Okay.

What do you want to do?

Do you want to do a four yard

dash?

Do you want to do a hundred yard

dash?

Do you want to do a hundred meters

sprint?

I mean,

it's splitting hairs at that point.

It's just a quicker run.

It's a foot race.

which they're going to line everybody up

they're going to run five hundred meters

and people are going to be by the

very end of it they are going to

be full out sprinting just like they were

the last time we did this you come

running around that curve coming into the

uh they finished on the field if you

remember right and everybody was flat out

as fast as they could go uh it

does not matter forty fifty hundred ricky

is winning it i disagree

Okay,

event fifteen is the speed snatch ladder.

It is a speed triple.

Yep.

Not fives, but threes.

That's all right.

Okay, so hear me out.

These are, what are they,

thirteen and fourteen?

Thirteen, fifteen.

Thirteen, fifteen.

Damn it.

I didn't realize that this morning.

So there's going to be an event in

between them because what I was thinking

is that you sprint your five hundred

meters to the start line of the snatch

speed ladder and you run straight through

the snatch speed ladder.

It's hard to say.

Snatch speed ladder.

And you just combine those two things into

one.

I think that would be...

probably ridiculously dangerous and stupid

but i think it'd be fun to watch

except for they threw event in the middle

except that yeah they threw event in the

middle which so let me ask you this

um because this is one of my favorite

events ever to watch like i think these

things are so cool the snatch ladders the

the clean and jerk ladders that we had

in uh you know when there's speed like

this when you have to go does anybody

easy muhammad themselves this year

I there's always going to be a mistake.

It's just whether the mistake lands on

your head.

Yeah.

Cause that's trying to do it fast.

And, um,

and so someone is going to have a

slip up.

Yeah.

It's just how traumatic is that going to

be?

Dude.

So that's that's one of the first things

I think of every single time because I've

watched I didn't get to watch this live

because I was not in at this point.

But seeing the documentary forty five

times,

I actually watched went back and watched

the event on on YouTube several different

times and like watching easy knock himself

out.

And finish the ladder.

Wake up, stand up,

and then finish the damn thing.

It's one of the most impressive things

I've ever seen as far as weightlifting is

concerned at the games, period.

I don't know how smart of an idea

it was that he knocked himself out with

the book.

Because what he said, he was out, out,

like woke up looking at the sky.

Like, oh, how did I get here?

Oh, I guess I ought to get up.

Trent says, that would be sweet, Corey,

if I could understand what you were

saying.

sprint five hundred meters directly to the

start line of the snatch speed ladder i

think she's just giving you that's fine i

think that would be fantastic so larry

young has it and why i disagreed with

the ricky comment is does anyone beat ghee

is the better question you have ghee is

so fast twitch it's ridiculous

He won the five hundred the last time

they ran it in a very stacked field.

Yep.

So do I think Ricky could win it?

Sure.

Do I think he will?

Maybe.

But I think that Guy is going to

be right there with him.

I think it's going to be a good

race.

I hope at that point in the weekend

they're in the same heat.

yes that would be cool yeah so we

don't have to go back and compare times

later yeah that would be awesome well and

it's a better visual to see them go

side by side for that five hundred how

bad does patty v lose the five hundred

meter swim sprint he didn't do bad in

it in no he actually didn't i'm giving

him and he really doesn't deserve it he

did bad on the uh

one that they get they had that we

had to cut someone that one yeah yeah

he didn't really just because he stepped

on the line mostly because he stepped on

the line also because because he said

himself he's like i'm just not a good

sprinter at all and then he's trying to

go fast stepped on the line i think

it's a straight sprint or any change of

direction like a suicide down and back

testing change of direction it would be a

wrinkle i don't think you'd call it a

sprint if there were if it was a

suicide

yeah i think it's a straight five hundred

like they did in was it nineteen eighteen

it wasn't maybe it was twenty one i

think it was twenty one it's the year

danielle yeah it was twenty one because

danielle was gonna have to run it by

herself with the covid thing yep and

briggs said i'll run with her yes and

then a couple other people jumped into

jumped in and run with her yeah

That's twenty twenty one.

I would have liked to have seen them

do the with the hurdles,

the zigzag with the hurdles,

like when old Dan Bailey lost his glasses

and then caught him in midair.

I think that would have been fun to

do like that have been fun to see.

What was cool about that is you ran

at one direction and turned around and had

to run it in reverse.

And because there was zigzag and there

were hurdles,

it went in a different order one way

than the other.

So it made it kind of two different

events.

Yeah.

But either way, fun stuff to watch,

fun stuff to watch instead of just a

dead out.

Well, even the five hundred last year,

it wasn't just it wasn't like five hundred

straight.

Like they had to go run around a

corner and run around another corner

before they got to finish on the field.

So.

It was kind of straight with like a

bear to the left.

Yeah, like two turns, something like that.

I mean,

it wasn't NASCAR style for damn sure,

but it also wouldn't just start here,

go that way,

and finish lines right over there.

Patty is a cheetah.

You shut your mouth, Corey.

Yep, he is definitely a cheetah.

We'll go with that, Ortega.

No problem with that.

We'll call old Pat a cheetah.

I'm not mad at him.

Look, it's his last hurrah, right?

So he's leaving everything on the field,

right?

I would love to see him just come

out and just blast everybody.

And it's not going to happen.

But how hilarious would it be if Patty

V comes out on the five hundred meter

sprint and blows everybody's doors off?

And then picks his two hamstrings up off

the floor and walks off.

And then comes across the line just doing

like this,

holding his hamstring and dancing like

freaking George Jefferson at the same

time.

Like, that would be fantastic.

Train has a new name for the .

It should be called the Police Chase.

Oh.

I did see someone ask if there were

details about the snatch ladder.

No details.

No.

Other than they compare it to the twenty

twenty version of it.

So if you want to go back and

look at that,

will they do the same weights?

I don't know if they're not.

It probably is just a small tweak up.

I would think so.

um sema must not have been with us

yesterday um i i reached out to jeff

bezos he has not returned my call uh

to find out the details of the amazon

prime connection to this flow elite thing

yeah when i texted bezos he said man

look i'm in a meeting right now i'll

get back with you later and every time

he does that like he eventually gets back

to me but i mean he's busy yeah

i don't hold it against him lights and

sirens

Instead of three, two, one,

it's light sirens go.

As soon as you hear the whoop whoop.

It's not even the lights and sirens.

You hit the whoop whoop and then everybody

takes off and then lights and sirens go

on.

And it's lights and sirens along the

entire course.

So it keeps people motivated.

I'm with it.

I'm with it.

Yeah, I don't know.

Bert said apparently spin must have put

up, must have the weights.

I don't know what he's talking about.

Yeah.

Bert, you saying spin put up the weights?

People.

We're having a conversation here.

And when you put stuff in the chat

without context.

Yeah.

Makes it hard on host to understand.

Yeah.

The words coming out of your mouth.

And our brand new producer is out sick

today.

Yeah.

I'll say a prayer for Vicki.

I'm very lost on this week's info.

Everything that's been released, Seema,

this week is lacking detail.

And I think it's done with intention.

As it should be.

I would like to know some stuff.

It's cool to know some stuff before the

games actually starts,

one hundred percent.

But it also is cool when they just

show up.

Chaos was such a fun event to watch

because nobody knew.

Like you had to figure it out as

they go.

Right.

Like they didn't know nothing about that.

You know,

in other events that they get briefed on,

like right before you go on the floor

or an hour before you go on the

floor.

Hey, figure this out.

This is what we're doing.

See you later.

First cut.

Hey,

nobody knows what it is until Dave

announces it.

Go warm up.

Like, that's amazing.

Cousin CrossFit,

I'm pretty sure they released the weights.

I don't think they have.

I think people are assuming because it

says the speed.

Oh, my gosh.

Speed snatch.

I don't know what the hell is going

on with my tongue.

Speed snatch triple is back.

A fan favorite from the twenty twenty

CrossFit games at the Ranch Naromas.

Returns for individual event.

Fifteen.

I think people are saying that line is

the exact weights from.

Oh.

Twenty twenty.

Standby.

And now Jenny's proving me wrong.

So.

Thanks, Jenny.

Tequila for lunch.

Scott, I apparently I need some.

Hold on.

Is Joseph asked offering tequila for lunch

or suggesting tequila for lunch?

Like, which one is it?

Waits are on the website.

I can only go to like three sites

a day, Jenny.

I'm not as good at this job as

you are.

Also, he didn't read books.

I quit reading books.

That's got a lot of shit going on.

Maybe it's the smoke.

Maybe it is the smoke.

It is crushing me.

Try to have asthma and deal with fire

smoke coming from Canada.

uh joey that was in actually well you

i did yeah my bad was it when

they didn't know a single thing and had

to meet in the hotel lobby at three

thirty am sixteen twenty sixteen oh so and

then the twenty nineteen games they didn't

know a single thing ever they were told

the events right before

Was that for all of them?

Yeah, I think so.

Yeah, it was cut.

Tell them the next workout.

Cut.

Tell them the next workout.

Talking about the smoke, dude.

So fun fact, I live in South Louisiana.

I am three hours from the Gulf of

Mexico, whatever.

Excuse me, the Gulf of America.

You would be surprised to find out that

most of the people in the barbershop this

morning did not know that Canada was on

fire.

dude one dude said uh he had just

got back from somewhere up there and like

got off the plane yesterday and he was

like man it was so nice to get

off the plane and like the air was

nice it was so smoky up there and

like the two other barbers besides mine

that are working this morning and like

five other dudes that were in the

barbershop turned and went what are you

talking about i said do y'all not know

canada is on fire and like the smoke

is all over the northeast at this point

oh is it really

Yeah, it's pretty bad.

Yeah.

Yeah,

we have a big amusement park on the

lake in northern Ohio.

Can't even see a coaster.

Jeez.

It's pretty bad.

If you saw pictures in New York City

this morning,

like can't see the Statue of Liberty.

Damn.

It's really bad.

That's messed up.

The roof, the roof,

the roof is on fire.

Yeah.

I dropped a death bomb in the barbershop

this morning and completely forgetting

there were two children in there getting

their hair cut.

And one of them's mom was sitting right

next to me on the bench right next

to me while I was getting my hair

cut.

And I was like, ooh, sorry.

I try to be respectful.

I know y'all probably have a hard time

believing that, but...

Yes.

Birch is correct.

We, uh,

Mexico does catch on fire pretty often.

Um, and they'll get it.

We'll get their smoke sometimes, uh,

covering us up.

I don't know how bad it is up

there.

I haven't seen a whole lot of pictures,

like from where you are, Scott,

or even further North,

but I know down here,

like it's freaky looking.

Cause there's just like a haze in the

sky and it's not clouds.

Like you can tell it's not a cloud

for whatever reason.

I don't know how, but yeah, dude,

pretty bad.

All right,

I only have a couple minutes left before

my meeting.

Yes, sir.

So I'm going to say a word,

and I hope it doesn't incite a riot,

but Flow Elite has contributed money to

the athletes with a performance of the

day,

which I think is a pretty cool incentive.

Just like I thought the Reebok incentive

was cool back in the day.

So they've added twenty five grand at the

end of every day.

They're going to pick like the grittiest

performance of the day and they're going

to award elite athletes.

I think it's twelve fifty.

Jenny talked about this morning on her

dense updates.

I think twelve fifty four individuals,

seven fifty four masters.

Okay.

Twelve-fifty for teams,

five-hundred for teams and adaptives.

I'm going to tell you what,

that's going to be a lot of paying

attention to Masters because there's eight

billion of us that go in the course

of a day to pick out one that's

going to be the grittiest on each day

of competition.

But good on them, man.

I'm glad.

I'm glad.

Let me ask you this.

Twelve-fifty for elites per day?

So Colton's just going to get an extra

twelve hundred fifty dollar check every

day?

Yeah.

So I love that Flo has said,

you know,

we are going to partner with you.

We are investing this back in you.

Yeah.

We're going to move forward in that

direction.

Sure.

What I hate is I hope the people

that pick the greatest athlete are not the

same people that pick rookie of the year

and pick... Spirit of the games.

Spirit of the games.

Because the people that do that are very

bad at their jobs.

A hundred percent.

I mean, gritty, right?

And they even use Colton's picture.

It's like the flow is just like we're

going to give Colton an extra twelve

hundred fifty dollars every day that he

competes.

Thanks.

Moving right along.

Who else do people think of when they

think of gritty performances besides

Colton?

Well, I think I do think of others.

I think Ricky is a gritty athlete.

Ricky has some grit in him.

I think there are like Dallin on that

echo bike was gritty as hell and he

paid for it for months after.

I think the sport is full of gritty

athletes.

It's going to be tough to say this

person was the grittiest.

I think that I really do stand by

my statement that I am so curious how

they're going to pick a Masters athlete

out of however many divisions we have,

men and women, and just go this person,

this one person just stood out over the

entire day.

Who's watching all of that?

Again, it's,

I don't think this is going to be

an equitable choice necessarily.

There's no way that you can look at.

Four hundred masters athletes and pick

which one is the grittiest.

It's open for interpretation first and

foremost.

And ain't nobody sitting through that many

heats of everything in a day to figure

out the one.

No, no starting,

starting with the seventy plus and be

like,

No, no,

I don't think it was any of them.

And as the day goes on, no, no,

not that one either.

Not that one either.

That just sounds like a thankless task,

first of all,

to try to even figure that out.

Again,

it's another like a throw in spaghetti at

the wall and see what sticks.

But again,

everything happened last minute with them,

right?

Yeah.

there could be events that happened.

Um,

like the Rebecca fusillade at the Capitol.

Yes.

Right.

That happens.

And everybody's in agreement that that was

the grittiest performance of the day.

Easy award.

Right.

Yeah.

And like,

I'm at the masters games and you see

these.

Sixty eight year old woman get her first

bar muscle up ever.

Right.

Bingo.

You've got your greatest athlete of the

day and it's pretty unanimous.

Yeah.

Um,

but in a normal course of like workouts,

it's going to be tough to pick.

Yeah.

I'm just going to take something like, uh,

know what's his face fighting with the

freaking sandbag to get it up try to

get it up off his lap and onto

his shoulder for forty five seconds fit

kowski because it was a long way to

go yeah it's a whole long uh you

know something along it'd have to be

something super memorable where there was

an actual fight going on

And to find that, like you said,

try to pick that diamond out of the

rough of four hundred plus Masters

athletes is not going to be fun

whatsoever.

And I like what causing crossfit here.

Hopefully they just picked their own

people.

So we got something to bitch about.

I would not worry about that.

That's probably going to happen.

Cousin says hopefully they picked the

wrong people.

So we have something to bitch about.

Yeah.

Well,

people also thought Roman hopping on one

leg was gritty.

This person did not.

One keg was gritty.

And she said, well, one leg,

one keg would have been better.

I did not think that was gritty because

I'd watched seven Masters athletes do the

same thing three days prior.

And nobody even said a word about it.

Because nobody cares about us.

I know.

But I'm just saying,

when you've seen seven fifty-year-olds do

it, and then everybody's like, oh my gosh,

Roman hopped on one leg.

I care about us.

You care about us.

Kate cares about us.

I'm not saying that...

It's not about caring about the Masters

athletes.

It's about the fawning over Roman because

his kid was watching him hop on one

leg.

So we have to cry.

His kid wasn't old enough to understand

what the hell was going on.

He had headphones on for the noise,

which is good.

Joey, unless you are aging up next year,

my brother, not going to happen.

As Ken said,

adaptive athletes are always hopping on

one leg.

Depends on which one it is.

Kevin Ogore can't even hop on one leg.

I mean, God bless him.

Man,

we are barely holding it together every

workout at our age.

Amen, brother.

Mark,

I woke up this morning with something in

my lower back hip area is,

if I move the wrong way,

it shoots up like I pinched a nerve

and all I did was sleep.

I felt perfectly fine, went to bed,

woke up, now my hip hurts,

no apparent reason.

Well,

before Corey goes on in all his ailments,

I've got a meeting in five minutes.

So we're heading out of here because this

is a long-ass list.

We'll see you guys Sunday night for Sunday

Night CrossFit Talk.

You wouldn't wait to get to the editing

room to jazz me up.

I'm already jazzy.

Lunch with the Clydesdale Cowboy in the

saddle.
