G-d created the world in order to bestow goodness on his creatures; so that they may recognize His greatness and merit to be a vehicle to G-d and cleave to Him...and to reveal the perfection of His abilities, to make Himself known to man through His attributes. People have always grappled with the question: why did G-d create the world? Understanding our purpose is important because it helps us envision the goal of creation, the state of perfection we will ultimately achieve when Moshiach comes.
