L E S S O N S - with Lennox Saint

Why I'm closing Full Circle after two and a half years, what the community gave me, and why I'm going back to Threads.

Show Notes

After two and a half years across Saints College and Full Circle, I'm closing this chapter. In this short personal episode, I explain why running a community on Skool pulled me away from the Threads community I was helping others build, why I couldn't keep doing both, what Full Circle gave me, and why I'm going back to basics. This isn't the end of the book. It's the end of the Full Circle chapter. See you on Threads: https://www.threads.com/@lennox_saint More from me: https://lennoxsaint.com

Full Circle is closing down.
I'm
lost for words. Maybe
you are too.
Okay, why?
the weird thing about running a community
on Skool is that it can become
all consuming because it's
constantly going there are people from all
over the the world inside of Saints
College which was my previous school community
and then Full Circle and i've ran
both of them now for two and
a half years in total so the
weird thing about it is i
was helping people grow on Threads and
build their Threads community but the more
and i was doing that on Skool
but the more i would help people
do that on Skool the more detached
i became from that Threads community in
the first place and then
the way my brain works is just
sort of i need to have like
one thing and school has been that
one thing for me for two and
a half years again so for me
that led to me becoming like very
detached from the Threads community and
i don't like that
and i want to go back to
that and i know that that will
be better for my relationships
and also it will help Threadify as
well because the more like the closer
i am to just what's happening on
the ground on Threads the
more informed I am about how we
should make the Threadify product as good
as possible. The weird thing about running
Skool is that I don't have my
feet on the ground anymore, and I
just can't do both.
I've tried to do both over the
last few years, and I just can't.
So that's where I'm at.
I want to go back to basics,
and this journey
has literally introduced me to
the coolest fucking people in the world.
And if you're watching this, you are
one of them.
It has introduced me to my two
co -founders, SamSam and Yassy.
And Yassy was even crazy enough to
fly to the other side of the
world to come and be my partner,
not only in business, but in life.
I've got this thread that I've been
saying a lot recently, which is entrepreneurship
is the most brutal self -improvement program
on earth.
I've been feeling that this year.
I don't know if you guys have
been too, I certainly have been.
It's been challenging me in new ways.
I just want to say that I
love you guys.
This isn't the end of the book.
It's the end of the chapter of
Full Circle. And what I hope this
means is that we'll continue to just
have a deeper connection with each other
on Threads instead.
And as for what I'll be doing
next, well, yeah, I already said, like,
focusing more on just being on
Threads, YouTube, growing.
Threadify and seeing where the path leads
for me next.
I'm still doing AI consulting as well.
The only thing that matters to me
now is just letting you know that
I'm so grateful that you contributed to
Full Circle in the way you did,
whether that was in a very open
and frequent amount or whether that was
in a much more subtle and like
understated in the background way.
Either way, I appreciate you
so much. Thank you for believing in
Full Circle and hanging out with me.
I'm so excited for what the next
chapter in our book contains and I'll
see you on Threads.
Peace and a big fucking fat love
heart. Ciao.
