James Dooley: AEO, GEO, LLM seeding, AI SEO, or whatever the [ __ ] you want to call it, book review. Today, I'm joined with Paul Truscott. I'm going to be talking about the book here that's been written and co-authored by Paul and nine others who are absolute legends in the industry within digital marketing. And they've all gonna add their own little spices to their own chapters of how you should be seeding the large language models. So Paul, for anyone that hasn't bought this book yet, what is the book about that is called AEO, GEO, LLM Seeding, AI SEO, or Whatever the [ __ ] You Want to Call It?

Paul Truscott: Well, quite simply, James, the title is basically saying, don't worry too much about what, uh, people call it because at the, at the moment, there isn't a consensus view on how we're going to describe this thing, but the mechanics of it are really, really important. So, what do you have to do to get cited by these AI search engines, right? That's the key. So, don't worry about the name of it. Just worry about how you're going to actually get in there and get your business or your personal brand recommended by them. And that's what this book is there to tell you how to do. So, it cuts through all the crap. Um, I think one... I think this was a book that needed to be written and thus far hasn't been written. Like there are technical... They tend to be very academic books on this. Um, and a lot of those were written a while ago and things have changed. So probably over time we, we will probably have to revisit and update this title because things will change. Um, but right now it's up to date and it's important that people get a handle on this because it's not going away. It's only going to become more and more important and it's more and more progressive. These AI models are moving at such a pace now. If you don't try and keep up with it, your business is going to be buried. I mean, seriously, like people who aren't getting up to speed with this and what's the book the co... Like, it's the cost of a cup of coffee. Seriously. Um, if people don't want to buy this and would rather take their chances with their business, good luck. That's all I can say.

James Dooley: Yeah. So, with regards to, um, the book, obviously it's got all the different acronyms of AEO, GEO. Within, within the book, it's talking about is AEO just SEO? Is SEO just GEO? It breaks down all the different acronyms and it's kind of saying, do you know what? It doesn't matter what acronym you want to call it. It's just getting your business or brand more exposure within artificial intelligence, LLMs. That could be ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Grok, Gemini. All these are important to be trying to not only get the more exposure but trying to be cited in the corre- in the correct way of defining who you are, what you do and why you're brilliant. For anyone that wants to read it, just so you understand, the, the authors of the book called AEO, GEO, LLM Seeding, AI SEO, or Whatever the [ __ ] You Want to Call It are I, James Dooley, Vaibhav Sharda, Paul Truscott, who's obviously on the podcast episode here, Abigail Dooley, who is the founder of LLM Leads and does a lot of lead generation within the UK. Scott Calland, who is the CEO of PromoSEO and does a lot of lead generation also within the UK. Luke Bastin, who does a lot of franchise SEO. You've got Peter Jones, who's an absolute legend in the plumbing lead generation markets within the UK. You've got Mike Lovatt, who's an iGaming SEO specialist. You've got Mads Singers, who is a brilliant management consultant for taking your business to the next level and integrating artificial intelligence, not just for getting cited but also utilising all the different AI harnesses and autonomous AI agents to take your business onto the next level. And then you've got Adrian Ponce Del Rosario, who is an amazing Filipino SEO that's done all the courses that Koray talks about, semantics. We all come from different walks of life. We're all doing different monetisation strategies, but what we do share is one belief that you should be looking at your online reputation management with regards to how LLMs are saying who you are, what you do, and why you are brilliant. Paul, it's been an absolute pleasure in having you on here. Um, with regards to, with regards to the review of the book, I'm going to give it five stars. I'm going to give it five stars because the authors are absolute legends, including yourself, Paul. I think a big five-star rating for the book, AEO, GEO, LLM Seeding, AI SEO, or Whatever the [ __ ] You Want to Call It. It's a tongue twister. I don't want to keep saying it over and over again, but go out to Amazon, go to Google Play Books, go and get your copy of the book, and let us know in the comment sections if you buy it, what your thoughts are. Do you like it? Do you also give it a five-star rating? Paul, it's been an absolute pleasure and I'll see you soon.
