Robby: You're listening to the Brand
ED Bullet from the Brand ED Podcast.

Four freaky fast Friday wins to
get you going for your weekend.

Let's go.

Win number one, something to try.

Not a fan of getting
tracked across the internet.

Enjoy a browser that
protects your privacy.

Meet brave.

Brave has been my default
browser for over three years.

And brave is three times faster
than Google's Chrome browser.

It has better privacy
by default than Firefox.

And it uses 35% less battery
on your mobile device.

You can even add all of your favorite
Chrome browser extensions to brave.

And one recent addition makes brave
an even more appealing alternative.

And it's brave search.

It's a private, independent,
transparent search engine.

Also built by brave.

What's your favorite browser.

And do you love it or do you
just use it out of habit?

Let me know.

Win number two, something
a client recently asked.

A client recently came to me for help
with an introductory marketing and sales

letter announcing her new business.

This letter was being sent to local
nonprofit leaders, letting them know of

her new business and what she offers.

Here are the steps we use to
transform her announcement.

Number one, I did a quick
search highlighting words

like I, we, our, me or my.

I put those in yellow and
then I did a search for you or

your, and I put those in green.

Not surprising.

The first draft was a vomit of
yellow -- that's I, we, me, our language.

Number two, I put any terms or phrases.

Her readers would likely not
know, use our understand in bold.

And then number three, I asked
her what she wanted the letter

to do for her new business.

She's now reworking the letter
to start with nonprofit leaders.

That's using the word you versus I
replace insider jargon with a bit of her

story-- why is she starting the business?

And end with a call to action.

What's it like for you when
you need to write a sales or

marketing letter, do you love it?

Do you hate it let me know Win number
three, something to think about.

This quote has me wrestling with what
I'm willing to let slide or look the

other way for in pursuit of a quote,
successful personal brand business.

Here's the quote.

We become what we tolerate.

I've used that quote more than once
in my podcast series, my most popular

series called the seven deadly
dangers of building a personal brand

that's episodes, 56 through 60.

I'd encourage you to go check that series
out Win number four, something personal.

I get up most mornings around 5:00 AM.

That's on weekdays,
weekends, or even holidays.

I find it much easier
just to be consistent.

Now I am not by nature or
inclination a morning person.

So I don't do that to brag or to
appear to be Uber productive to others.

In fact, I don't do any work.

For about the first two hours.

Instead, I use the uninterrupted
time to work on me.

Because as far as I can tell.

I am the most important part
of my personal brand business.

And I also happen to be a
husband and a dad and a friend.

I'm convinced those few precious hours
in the morning will produce the biggest

impact on my life and on my business.

What's your ideal rhythm or schedule
to keep your business from running you?

Thanks for joining me on this
episode of the brand ed bullet.
