00:00:00 Logan: Hello park goers to this episode of Park Goers Game. In this episode, we play games. So you play games.

00:00:20 Dustin: So you don't have to.

00:00:22 Logan: We have a couple different kinds of games that we're gonna play, and you can play along with us. And it's super fun. There's theme park trivia, there is whodunit that.

00:00:37 Dustin: There's a murder.

00:00:38 Logan: There's a murder.

00:00:38 Dustin: Mystery murder.

00:00:40 Logan: So let's go.

00:00:52 Nate: All right. Parkgoers, welcome to Feature Attractions. Here's how the game works. I am going to give you three clues. And your job is to guess both the theme park ride and the film it's based on. The clues could be the year the movie premiered, the year the attraction opened, a clever riddle, a play on words, or even some behind the scenes fun facts. So see if you can splice the clues together and see the big picture. So get ready. Lights. Camera attraction I mean action. Your first hint is it took sixty six years for this attraction to get its own film.

00:01:36 Dustin: Oh.

00:01:37 Logan: How many years?

00:01:39 Nate: Sixty six.

00:01:40 Dustin: All right. So sixty six. I'm mostly inclined to believe that it'll be an opening day attraction to get its own film.

00:01:49 Logan: Sixty six years.

00:01:51 Dustin: So I think either Jungle Cruise Pirates or Haunted Mansion haunted out of the three.

00:01:57 Logan: I'm inclined for a new hint.

00:01:59 Dustin: Well, Haunted Mansion out of the three was the earliest or the newest. And that one, I think, opened shortly before Magic Kingdom. Now this is just Disney, though it might not be Disney, but it might not. Let's see. Nineteen seventy one, sixty six years after nineteen seventy one. Yeah, that would be in the future. That hasn't happened yet. So so far, Jungle Cruise, I think is the only one on on my radar. But yeah, I'm ready for the next clue.

00:02:26 Nate: All right. Your next clue is the film pulls inspiration from one of Disney's oldest rides. All right then, Space Mountain.

00:02:39 Logan: Oh, perfect.

00:02:40 Dustin: Logan, that's not perfect because we've already established this.

00:02:44 Nate: This is basically the same hint. Just we want it.

00:02:48 Dustin: Yeah. So Jungle Cruise, I think is the only one that's still on the list. Maybe pirates.

00:02:53 Logan: Why isn't Haunted Mansion on the list?

00:02:55 Dustin: Because Haunted Mansion opened in the seventies, I believe. Or maybe the late sixties.

00:03:00 Logan: Right, right right right, right.

00:03:01 Dustin: Yeah. So it's either Pirates or, uh, Jungle Cruise so far.

00:03:04 Logan: The Pirates of Pan Am

00:03:05 Nate: Mhm. Those are the ones.

00:03:07 Dustin: It's not Pan AM.

00:03:08 Logan: Penzance.

00:03:09 Dustin: It's penance. Pan. Pan. Pan. Penzance. Pan. Penzance. Anyways, continue with cat like tread.

00:03:18 Nate: All right. Do you want another hint?

00:03:19 Logan: No, Nathaniel.

00:03:20 Logan: I think we got.

00:03:20 Logan: It.

00:03:21 Dustin: Yeah, the second one didn't do anything for us.

00:03:23 Nate: Yeah, okay.

00:03:25 Dustin: I do think we got it, but I don't.

00:03:27 Nate: I got two hints. This ride helped pioneer Disney's use of live narration, making every experience slightly different. That's pretty on the head. That's that's. Yeah, yeah.

00:03:43 Logan: It's Jungle Book.

00:03:45 Dustin: The Jungle Cruise, the world famous jungle cruise.

00:03:50 Logan: The jungle boat.

00:03:51 Dustin: Boat spelled b o t e.

00:03:54 Nate: It is the Jungle Cruise.

00:03:55 Dustin: Yeah, Yeah.

00:03:57 Nate: This one was kind of hard. I was trying to do. It was hard to try to navigate around Dustin, but.

00:04:04 Logan: Everything's hard to navigate around us.

00:04:06 Dustin: I know. I'm just so big.

00:04:08 Nate: As a former skipper, as he likes to remind us very often, it's hard to find hints that you might not know.

00:04:15 Dustin: Fun fact A couple fun facts about Jungle Cruise. The movie is that originally, I think it was the early two thousand. They were planning on making it right after Pirates of the Caribbean was a hit. And, uh, both Tom Hanks and Tim Allen were signed on. So the duo famous for Toy Story were going to be starring, um, in that film, which would have been cool, or at least that was the, uh, that was the, the rumor sounds amazing. But another fun fact is that, uh, Jungle Cruise was a Disneyland opening day attraction, which Disneyland opened on July seventeenth, which means it's old. No, jungle cruise and I share a birthday. Yay!

00:04:59 Dustin: Oh, yes, of course.

00:05:01 Nate: Of course.

00:05:01 Dustin: That's all right. Don't pretend.

00:05:03 Logan: I didn't.

00:05:06 Dustin: Oh, you know what that sound means. It's time for your internships. Yay! I signed you guys up for an internship with a mechanic who works on theme park rides.

00:05:16 Logan: So, uh, do.

00:05:17 Dustin: You have time to explain? Here's your lunch, and let's go. Go, go. Have fun. Bye.

00:05:21 Logan: Yeah.

00:05:26 Dustin: Hey, boys. Welcome, welcome. Come on in. Come on in. Watch your step. Watch your step. It's very messy in here.

00:05:31 Nate: Oh, God. It's wet.

00:05:32 Dustin: Yeah. That's oil. That's oil.

00:05:35 Logan: What does that smell?

00:05:36 Dustin: And it's probably also oil. The smell in the wetness is both oil. Chances are there's a lot of oil. But, uh, welcome to my chop shop of fried rides of all kinds. I am the number one mechanic, uh, for every theme park in this year. Us of a.

00:05:54 Logan: Is that by default or because you're good.

00:05:57 Dustin: I'm just that good. If they got a problem with their ride vehicles, they send it to me. I take a look see and before you can say riparo, I fixed the problem and send it bippity boppity back to the box. Easy peasy.

00:06:10 Logan: Universal and Disney.

00:06:11 Dustin: I don't think you understand when I said all of them in the USA, but even though I am pretty quick to the fix, uh. There are a lot of attractions and only one of me and I'm not very organized. So some of these ride vehicles are missing some information. Uh, I have the paperwork, but oil smudges, whatnot. I don't know where to send them back to. So, uh, that's where you boys come in. You can, uh, help me figure out these finished maintenance tickets while I work on some other vehicles so that we can get these ride vehicles right back. How's that sound?

00:06:46 Logan: We can, or we have to.

00:06:49 Dustin: All right, so. It's the first maintenance ticket. All right, now I do roller coaster restorations. Uh. Simulator service. Merry go round. Mending. Tilt-a-whirl. Tune ups. Log flume fixing. And your general run of the mill ride repairs. So, uh, let's try and funnel this down to ride type. Okay, so looking at the maintenance ticket, it says that the problem is that we have hydraulic issues. Okay, now you guys take some time with this. I'm gonna go work on this ride vehicle. Okay? If you have any questions, ask. Bye.

00:07:26 Logan: That's the only hint. That it has hydraulic issues, hydraulics. That's the only hint.

00:07:35 Nate: That's not very specific.

00:07:36 Logan: What was his name?

00:07:38 Nate: I don't know, Buster. Something like that.

00:07:40 Logan: Stinky.

00:07:41 Jack the Mechanic: My name's Jack.

00:07:43 Nate: Oh.

00:07:44 Logan: All right, Jack, uh, come tell us more about this.

00:07:49 Dustin: Wow, you guys are really self-sufficient. I love it. Okay, so, uh, let's see. So it's, uh, it has some hydraulic issues. Um. Oh, I will say, uh, it doesn't that I need to find the paperwork. I need to find the paperwork that says where exactly it goes, but, um, as part of the stuff I'm.

00:08:07 Nate: Missing out on the ticket.

00:08:08 Dustin: But I do know it's not that part has smudges on it or whatever, or I lost that piece of paper. This is just.

00:08:15 Nate: This isn't even a ticket. This is just ripped pieces of paper.

00:08:18 Dustin: Like I said, I'm very unorganized and there's a lot of moving machinery around. So but I did remember that this one came in on a truck that had a license plate California. So okay, there's that. But judging from this problem, I do think I remember that there was another one in another location that had a similar issue. So, uh, yeah.

00:08:39 Nate: Okay. So it's in multiple parks. It's hydraulic hydraulic. I wonder if it's, um, can I tell you it does not very helpful. I think I, oh.

00:08:49 Dustin: Well, here's something that might help.

00:08:51 Nate: I think that's all I'm asking for. I kind of know what it is, but.

00:08:56 Dustin: I do offer another service, which is when you bring in your v your ride vehicle. I do an oil change, but I also do a fresh paint of coat. So then I ask.

00:09:05 Nate: Fresh paint of coat.

00:09:07 Dustin: Paint of coat, coat of paint.

00:09:12 Nate: Just double down. Yeah. Coat of paint.

00:09:17 Dustin: I'm so unorganized. My words aren't even in the correct order.

00:09:20 Nate: Right.

00:09:21 Dustin: Um, so they said that the colors that they want are an orangey red and a white, which if I recall correctly, these people also submitted a ticket decades ago, but the color was blue and white.

00:09:35 Nate: You have a ticketing system.

00:09:37 Dustin: I don't it's all it's all up in my head.

00:09:39 Nate: I'm still using the paper. You remember things from decades ago, but you can't remember what this this ride.

00:09:45 Dustin: I'm a busy man. I'm a busy man. So the only real time that this ever gets repainted is during that one time when it switched over. So this is probably something that doesn't see the elements. So you're I'm guessing that this would probably be an indoor attraction. Okay. So take your time. Talk it over.

00:10:04 Nate: Jack, why don't why don't.

00:10:05 Dustin: You.

00:10:05 Nate: Guess? I'm.

00:10:10 Dustin: I'm a very busy guy. I gotta work.

00:10:13 Jack the Mechanic: I'm working over here.

00:10:14 Dustin: I'm busy. I'm working on something else.

00:10:17 Nate: Did he say it's in Disney? Uh, he didn't say specifically. I don't think I. Is it rock and roller coaster? Does it look like a car? I don't think they have hydraulics. Is it? I was thinking, actually, that's orangey red eye. Oh, aren't you red? That's what he said. And at both parks, I was thinking like Indiana Jones. But. Oh, wait, those white vehicles are red and white. Because the only other thing I can think of is lightning McQueen. But he doesn't have. Does he have hydraulics? I don't remember. I think you remember because they did give him some. And like one of the shows and he was in the he's in the Disney ride vehicle. Oh, is that what he said?

00:11:05 Dustin: Yeah, yeah. Oh. Hey, guys guys guys guys, guys, I found this. I found this, uh, the second.

00:11:11 Nate: Piece of paper.

00:11:12 Dustin: Another page. Yes. It has to do with this one, though I did find the address. The return address.

00:11:18 Nate: Is all your doing when you walk away looking for the other pieces of paper.

00:11:21 Dustin: You probably couldn't hear it, but they're very loud clanking sounds and grinding. So I'm working. But I found this one at the bottom of my shoe. It was stuck. So it says that the return address is thirteen thirteen Disneyland Drive, Anaheim, California. Um, and, uh, that is actually is actually a motion simulator. So what is it?

00:11:51 Nate: A motion simulator that's orangey red and yellow. Orangey red and white.

00:11:56 Dustin: Yeah. I'm gonna hand these tickets to you. You guys walk through the garage and find it. Okay. Bye.

00:12:03 Nate: Oh, God. Uh, this is not a big rod.

00:12:07 Dustin: It's huge.

00:12:09 Nate: Are you gonna put some reverb on the I don't know. I don't know, I don't.

00:12:13 Dustin: It's just naturally echo.

00:12:16 Nate: Echo? E e e e I I don't I don't know any, um, I don't, I can't think of any of those colors like anything that matches those colors. I don't really know anything. That's like a light.

00:12:30 Dustin: It was a motion simulator that was, uh, blue and white. And then yeah, it decades ago, it became reddish orange, rusty color and white. And it's in California and also another park. And it's, uh, some might say it was the first motion simulator really out of this world.

00:12:51 Nate: Uh, is it the it's our tours. Do you think it's Star Wars Star tours? I don't know what Carlos daughter is. It's not ready. Reddish orange. It's still blue. I thought it was like silver with some blue.

00:13:06 Dustin: No, it's like a rusty. It's like a rusty Burgundy.

00:13:09 Nate: No it's not.

00:13:10 Nate: Yes it is.

00:13:11 Dustin: I think I would know. I'm the one who painted it.

00:13:14 Nate: I don't think I've ever seen the outside of salt tools. I only see the dolls.

00:13:19 Dustin: Walk past it in the queue.

00:13:20 Nate: I mean, yeah, it's not red. Look it up. I can't look it up. Let me see it. It does look a little orangey, but mostly white.

00:13:31 Dustin: Did you guys find it yet?

00:13:33 Nate: So it star tours. I think it's I guess it's salt. I don't.

00:13:40 Dustin: Yeah. No. Duh. Did you find.

00:13:42 Nate: It? Uh, yeah. It's right behind you.

00:13:46 Dustin: Oh, okay. That was pretty close. So, uh, the internship's over. Uh, you guys can leave. I'm very busy, so I'm just gonna go and move on to my thing. Uh, goodbye. Salutations. I'll. I'll talk to you later. All right. Bye bye. Thanks for your help. Bye bye. Bye. Goodbye.

00:14:01 Dustin: And now we are going to the game called go. Kind of a play on two truths and a lie. What I'll do is I'll tell three rumors. One of them is an actual rumor. The other two I just made up. First, you'll have to figure out which one is the actual rumor. And then once we establish that, then you'll have to guess whether the rumor is confirmed, true, confirmed, false, or still unknown. So let's go. Legend goes, in addition to a service dog, you can bring on to Disney property a service cat in addition to a service dog you can bring onto Disney property a service horse, or in addition to a service dog, you can bring onto Disney property a service rat.

00:15:02 Nate: So a hat, horse or rat?

00:15:05 Dustin: Nope. Cat. Cat.

00:15:07 Nate: Cat.

00:15:08 Dustin: Meow.

00:15:08 Nate: Hat. No.

00:15:10 Dustin: Service. Cat. Service. Horse or service. Rat. They're all animals. Which one's the rumor? And which one did I just make up?

00:15:18 Nate: I'm gonna say the rumor is the rat. The rat? Okay.

00:15:23 Dustin: Bring a rat to the house of mouse.

00:15:24 Nate: I'm gonna go with the cat because I feel like no one would try to bring a horse.

00:15:28 Dustin: Okay, you're bringing a rat to the House of mouse, and you're bringing a cat to the house of mouse. Yeah.

00:15:33 Nate: How dare.

00:15:34 Dustin: You! All right, so the answer is. In addition to a service dog, you can bring on to Disney property a service horse.

00:15:47 Nate: Ah, this is the most ridiculous one.

00:15:50 Dustin: Now tell me, is this true, false or still unknown?

00:15:57 Nate: I mean, can you bring it to the Fort Wilderness? Maybe. Who knows? They have horses there. I'm gonna go with. This is false. I'm gonna go with true rumor. You think it's. You can. Because I don't know if they technically can, like, um, dictate the type of service animal. It's a horse. Where are they gonna put it? I'm not saying that it's not lucrative. I'm just saying I don't think that they can. I don't think lucrative. I though well, I don't think that there is a proved horse like restrictions. No approved horse service animals.

00:16:34 Dustin: All right. So wait, so Nathaniel said not true. You're saying it is true?

00:16:39 Nate: Yeah.

00:16:40 Dustin: Okay. So the answer is. True.

00:16:50 Nate: What is going on.

00:16:52 Dustin: So according to Disney's website, which you can go to, it says a service animal is a dog or miniature horse that has been individually trained to work and perform tasks for an individual with a disability.

00:17:07 Nate: Aha.

00:17:07 Dustin: So you can, if you have a miniature horse, you can bring them onto Disney property.

00:17:14 Nate: Why is it specifically those two animals?

00:17:17 Dustin: If I remember reading it correctly, the Ada only recognizes those two animals as service animals.

00:17:24 Nate: Interesting.

00:17:25 Dustin: Yeah. So you can have like therapy animals that are cats and rats and all that, but those two are the only ones who can be trained specifically for certain tasks. And therefore that's the reason why they're on there. And I remember one time when I worked at Disney, somebody came running into the Jungle Cruise saying, we got one.

00:17:45 Dustin: There's a miniature horse in the park.

00:17:46 Dustin: It didn't happen a lot, but it did happen. So that's fun. So if you are ever on Disney property and you do see a miniature horse with no cast members around, do not pet that horse. It is working. And it is, uh, it is there to assist someone.

00:18:02 Nate: The horse should have a sign.

00:18:04 Dustin: Oh, it probably will that says.

00:18:05 Dustin: Do not read.

00:18:06 Dustin: Or something. Yeah. So read the sign.

00:18:08 Dustin: You can't.

00:18:09 Nate: Read and you see a small pony. Just ask the nearest cast member if that's theirs.

00:18:14 Dustin: Or maybe you need a miniature pony that can read.

00:18:17 Nate: That's not really a service.

00:18:18 Dustin: Well, if it performs that task, then it is.

00:18:20 Dustin: So anyways, that was legend Gold.

00:18:27 Nate: That was fun.

00:18:28 Dustin: All the things we've learned and the trivia we did, the crying.

00:18:34 Dustin: The blood, the sweat, the tears.

00:18:37 Dustin: And then the more sweat.

00:18:39 Dustin: Okay. And thank.

00:18:40 Nate: You.

00:18:40 Dustin: We hope you got all the answers right.
