and welcome.

Simbros pause. 11. We had 11? Episode 11, you mean? Yeah, I guess whatever. I'm Chris. I'm Kev. And together, we're the Simbros. And we're here to help you win your 20s. I know I keep saying this, but this is a special edition. We're filming on a Friday. Yeah, I mean, it's special edition. Happy 4th July. Happy 4th. Happy 4th, everybody. I just feel like we keep filming a day earlier. Eventually, we're going to film two episodes in the same.

Yeah, I mean that's the goal. The goal is to have to do this for our entire life, right? Like, five episodes a week. Could the people even take five episodes a week? Could we do it? Yeah, we We talk too much about way too many things all the time. With no nine to five, obviously. Well, yeah, exactly. So we got to sell. So guys, please keep listening. Get us out. Please keep listening. So yeah, it's the fourth.

Happy 4th July, Happy Independence Day. Thank you. Thank you. And also with you. Thank you. Thank you. I appreciate it. I think, you know, all the Campbell Hall people know that. But I think everybody... I mean, Fair enough. Go Because like we had chapels and all that stuff. But I think it's not like it's like a Campbell Hall speech. I know it's but if people don't go to church, then I don't know. I guess it's fair. Yeah. But I was just going say, I was just going say Happy Independence Day. And I think, you know, with everything going on in the world, it's, you know...

so many bad things and terrible things. But you just want to be thankful to be living in a country that actually just gives you freedom, right? You don't really, you know, when you're a kid, you kind of take it for granted, right? You don't really understand what this means, right? And then you look at what goes on in other countries and you're like, wow, you know, you are thankful for that, right? Of the one thing. For sure, for sure, man. You gotta, you gotta always appreciate life. gotta, you know, 2 Chainz said this one time. He said, if you woke up this morning, you wouldn't.

And that's true, it's 100 % true. There's a lot of people who would love to be in your situation, love to be where you are. So obviously, I know you guys always want more, I always want more, I know you always want more, but don't forget to be grateful where we are right now ⁓ and all the hard work that got you to this point. But speaking of 4th of July, man, I want some barbecue. I want some barbecue food. top five, honestly, what's your favorite 4th of July barbecue dish? Favorite?

It's still gonna have to be the baby back ribs. think that's pretty easy. I think that's always because like, can you cook those? Yeah, I'm gonna say the same thing. I can't cook those. Cause I was thinking like you could maybe cook brisket. Maybe. I don't even. Yeah. Cause like those foods, it's a little bit more, but like, no, but like the whole smoking process, like 18 hours. Yeah. Like the baby back ribs, but that feels like something I could never do. Like I feel like I could maybe just like sear off a brisket. Like I feel like

Mom has made brisket not like barbecue wise, but she's also made brisket. She made I think it's different though Yeah, it's no it's so different like I'm talking about like a smoked brisket like if you had the smoker like first of all when I am older I will be having a Traeger smoker grill. I a hundred percent will be having that

Put with my outdoor TV watch the game while I cook some food for my family. There's like a tick tock. I see that guy. Yeah. No, I love that. Like that guy's great. He's this grill trade. Yeah. Yeah. Carry system. Yeah. Yeah. No, That guy's great. Nice little drink. That will be me. I promise that we'll be drinking scotch straight up like he was. I know if I can do all that. Just like a Tuesday. This is just people you grow up. I don't know how people just I guess you say it's an acquired taste. I think I that like with everything. Okay. Yes. But I also think that like

you know, hard liquor we've ever drank has been absolute cheapest of the cheap. Yeah, but then so that's true. But then when I tell you when I'm like, okay, what about if this is good? You're like, it's still scotch. It still is. Okay. Well, I'm saying it's not going to taste like apple juice or whatever. It's not going to be like sweet. It's not going to be like a Gatorade. It's still going to be alcohol. Just less bite, I think is what it is. Yeah. I don't know. I haven't even experienced like the premium. Yeah. One day, one day of this, you know, like we said, if we're doing five episodes a week, then

Hey, maybe we can have some scotch on the the fantasy footballers, we'll go from three episodes to five episodes, whatever it is. to start, you gotta start somewhere. But I said ribs is mine, what about yours? Dude, I used, I mean look, I still love ribs. I definitely still love ribs, I ain't gonna lie. That's one B. But I've been really eating this brisket. Yeah, you've been me about I ordered brisket for lunch.

I don't know how that's possible. For lunch at work, I ate it at like 11.45 with the DC. It was one of the greatest things that ever happened Yeah, you keep telling me to have diet coke and beef. Yes! It's a great... Shout out Ethan, okay? Shout out Ethan. It's a great combo. A diet coke by itself is solid and it's definitely like a drink worthy of ⁓ all the accolades and whatever. But when you combine a diet coke with any sort of cooked beef...

Is that like, is okay, so is that like some known thing or just, it just became acquired by Ethan? Like is that some like thing that everybody knows? I know a lot of people who eat beef regularly, eat, drink diet coke. I know what that is. I'm just saying like, it's just like, I think it's a natural thing. Like, you know, there's a lot of vegans out there who, you I don't know. What do vegans Yeah, I don't know what you're going for right now. I guess they only drink water. Correlation and causation, bro. Either way. Either way. Yes. It is very good.

I recommend that to anybody. If you're having any sort of beef dish, a burger, ground beef, else? Brisket, ribs. Yeah, exactly. Have a DC with it and then thank me later. Steak, yeah. I think steak's actually a little bit different. Why? How is steak different than It feels a little bit more premium. Like steak, I'm like, okay, if you guys want to get the red wine or something, I'm like, okay, Merlot, cab. I know why. Oh, you did two of them. They have one more red.

⁓ Merlot Cabernet, damn. Pito Duarte. There's another one I should know. Beaujolais. that's Beaujolais. is right. Yeah. Well, I don't know. It's from the show. mean, whatever. OK. OK. But yeah, so we were going to get barbecue. The place closed. We'll see if it opens up after we film this. So we had a great order. was ⁓ talk to talk. I don't know if you could say I'm going to hungry. Yeah, no, it was it was brisket ribs. And then this is this is the key.

If anyone doesn't know, you need to mix your sides. I'm for, you know, Thanksgiving, I'm for mixing the sides personally. Like I'm not for, I'm going eat a little bit of cranberry sauce on here. throw everything together and mix it up because that is what you get the best flavor. And for barbecue specifically, it's, you got to get the mac and cheese. You have to, of course. But then you also have to get baked beans and you mix them together. ⁓ I really hope this place opens.

I know a few people who are anti food touching. Why? I never understood. Like Chipotle? No way. You know, like no mix. You're It's just, wait, wait. What are you, that can't be real. Are you serious? 100 % real. Literally the bowl is meant to be shaken. Look, I'm like, I was talking to one of my boys, Dylan, shout out Dylan Galwood. But I was talking to one of him, I was talking to him and we are the same, we have the same mental wavelength when it comes to like all these like bowls.

everything in a bowl, mix it in a big, like huge mixing bowl. Mix it up and I just want a bite of everything. I just want a bite of I think you had it yesterday. did, had a bite of Chipotle. Guys, you guys don't even see this. He has this big bowl. Don't act like you never- And he throws everything in this bowl. It's kind of like, yeah, okay. But first of all, you said you know people who don't like their Chipotle I know one guy, I know one guy for sure. Yeah, 100%. And he doesn't like any food touching.

So you just gotta eat everything separately? I think it's more just like, okay, I think the chicken and rice is like, okay, that's fine, but nothing else. It's all just like bites. Nah, bro, I can't do that. I agree. It's the whole point of the Chipotle is to mix up the bowl. Whole point Chipotle, whole point of life. If I'm eating something, if I'm having a burger and fries, I'm going to have the burger and finish up with the fries too. Wait, wait, What? Say that again.

I'm gonna have a bite of the burger, chew that, but then also have fries at the same time. Mixed it. Yes. yeah, well like, you mean put it on the burger? No, no, I'm about like, concurrently. Yes, of course. That's the point. Okay, because I know, I actually know way more people. know way more people who go, burger, fries. That's insane. Ethan.

I think that's insane. I'm sorry. love you Ethan. All your friends, they're still my friends too, but that's insane behavior. I tell that every time. How do you, like you're just going to have the fries first and then the burger? That makes no sense. I told that every time. First of all, shout out Ethan always, but that's my guy. You said it like three times. I think he knows you. I see him as my guy always. think you know he's shouting, but he knows you're Either way.

Yes, every time he would, we would get Chick-fil-A a lot fresh for New Year, which was always, that was a problem. But we would get, he'd the sandwich and the fries, right? He'd eat the sandwich and then he'd be full from the sandwich so he wouldn't even eat the fries. And I was like, just eat them together. But also, the other thing is that he eats insanely fast. The fastest I've ever seen anybody eat. One time we had, we went to McDonald's or we got McDonald's delivered.

I'm not even joking when I say this. We each got a 10 piece nugget, whatever. I took a bite of my first one. We opened the box at the same time, mind you. I took a bite of my first one. He was done with all 10. I seriously wish I was lying. I wish I was lying. He ate all 10 that quickly.

grabbed all, it was, ⁓ Did you even see him eat the tent? No, no, no, I went up, got sauce on the table, came back. It took about six, seven seconds. That's it. Six, seven. And then, and then he ate all 10. I guess he could try out for the hot dog eating No, because he can't eat a lot of food. He eats it so quickly. It's like a sprint. He's like Usain Bolt. We were just talking about that.

Speaking of, how fast was he going? Yeah, bro. Well, first of all, we were watching, it's Independence Day, and then of course we went to go look at some Olympic highlights, which again, last year's Olympics was unbelievable. When you look back, it's even more insane. mean, it's just like, older you get, more you appreciate the type of athlete these people are.

Especially when you exercise as well. I work out so hard, I'm not even close to these And you have like even Olympic friends, Yes, yes. you know it's not even, it's just crazy, right? really is, yeah. And like you go on the assault treadmill or whatever and you're like, okay, you see that, oh, you're the same boat which we were watching and talking about. His highest miles Wait, first, I think you should say yours first. I think that would be a bigger thing. Yeah, well, I mean like...

Mine is 16. 16 miles an hour. I can run at my top speed 16 miles an That's very fast. remember that. On the assault treadmill, it shows you the treadmill. I'm like, it shows you how fast you go. I'm saying, okay, 60 miles an hour. know, I do my best. And you look at Usain Bolt and it's, what is it? 28? 27.8. 27.8 miles an hour. Like just let that sit for you with a second. Like let that sit for a second. And I know you're thinking, oh, it's only a 10 mile an hour difference.

Dude, it's the same thing. It's not, not, it's not, it's not, oh, one miles a 27.8 miles an hour. That's faster than your car in a school zone. A way, three times as fast. School zone is 25, isn't it? I thought it was five. School zone, school zone is 25. Check us on that. 15. 15. It is think it's 25. No, it's definitely 15. I think it's 25. School zone. Yes. Cause I think normally it should be 35, right? I said five cause I was thinking parking lot by the way. Oh yeah, you parking attendant or whatever.

Public safety movie coming out 2038 be ready for it. No because like I think regular speed is 35 right and then school zones 10 miles less whatever it doesn't matter but 27.8 miles an hour. That's ridiculous. It really is ridiculous. It's ridiculous. then it's so crazy because like this what your mind does when you're watching them.

that since they're all running at relatively that same speed, they look like, oh, you know, they're running fast, but like, they're not really running that, no. Like, they're running crazy fast. That's when we were watching the Cole Hawker. First of all, Cole Hawk him down. Another insane. That was men's 1,500 meters. that was insane. And so 1,500 meters, they're running, I forgot what the exact time was, but you're like, oh, know, it looks like- 1,500 meters is like 100 meters less than a mile.

Because 16 right right right exactly so nine point nine like a mile close enough to a mile a little bit shorter But like they're running hard they're running fast But you know it looks like they're jogging on TV, and then you really think about it. They're probably running at 16 17 miles an hour For a mile yeah, because it's like they finish in like three minutes 17 yeah miles an hour yep

For a mile. like Kipchoge and people, Elias Kipchoge was the one who were on like, who broke the marathon record. marathon. No, Sub 2. No, he didn't make Sub 2, no one did yet. No, somebody did. Technically he they said it didn't count because it was downhill or whatever. No, because it wasn't, it didn't have, I think it doesn't have to be Jordanian Yeah, he said it was controlled and it was like, it might have been that downhill. I'm not It was Nike. But yeah, yeah, exactly. He still did it though, like, listen, if it wasn't controlled and...

quoting that downhill, I'm still taking a sub two marathon. he's running at like 11 miles an hour, right? No, 14. 14. But still though, like 14 miles an hour for two hours. Straight. Okay, like 13. you're doing that. 26. Straight. 13 miles an hour for two hours straight. I can't even run 13 miles an hour for two minutes. No.

I don't think you When I got to 60 miles an hour on the assault treadmill, that was like, oh my god. It was like a six second thing. Exactly. And then you watch Saquon Barkley, who is already like 215, right? And who runs 22 miles an hour. These guys are just different. The marvelling is crazy. There was one other person from the Olympics who hawked someone down too. It was in the 400. What was it? Quincy Hall, right? People were saying that Quincy Hall. He's like, what is he, like 16?

No, no, no, that's the other one. Quincy Hall's the, yeah. Oh, right, right, You gotta talk about the same thing. I was like, there's no way this guy won. No, Quincy Hall's the older one. There's another Quincy who went on. I don't even know why they did that to him. Like, they messed him up. Why'd they make him do that? He wasn't in it anyway. Just let him chill and be and enjoy. Dude, dude, he wanted to be there. No, no, of course he wanted to be there, but.

Like you can't, especially they almost didn't qualify because of him. You know that right? He was too young. He a team. It's like whenever they used to have the college guy on Team USA. Yeah, one guy. Just chill. Tyrese Haliburton. Just chill. Enjoy it. can't compare him to Christian Leighton. mean, guess Jason Tatum didn't play either. D-White got more minutes. Derrick White. But also at the same time. What did Olympics look like? Steph.

bronze last time you ever see all that ever right they're all gonna retire KD like I mean and honestly what was kind of crazy is that team USA really almost lost like two games right yeah I I said one I don't think they were they were up France the entire game okay that's the one thing okay Serbia for sure yeah Serbia yeah France was close but yeah you Serbia do a hundred percent how good is the quality okay

He was oh you mean just in general. Yeah, he's great. Yeah. Yeah, I hate him I don't even hate him anymore. Like he's so good that I respect. Oh, yeah I never I never hated I go because I'm a Laker more and more than yokage cuz like yokage you can like appreciate that It's just like this is just unbelievable. You just it's just you couldn't do anything about him. You literally couldn't do anything That's how good he is. Yeah, but yeah, we can go back to Serbia. What are you saying? Oh, yeah, that game was crazy That was one of the I really thought they were gonna lose that was the culmination of everybody's basketball childhoods

No one was a fan. If you were a fan of Curry, you were not a fan of LeBron. If were a fan of KD, you probably hated Curry until they got together. And you probably hated Braun. Definitely hated Braun. And if you were a fan of Braun, you hated both of them. And man, that day, everybody wore the red, and Yeah, Everybody wore the red, white, and blue, man. was so proud as a basketball fan, as an American that day.

Wow, what a game. It was insane. What a game. mean, just to see that happen on the biggest stage with all of them playing together and probably the last time ever. like, it's just like, you know, they say sports, you know, there are people who don't, we'll say this all the time, who don't understand sports, sports truly is your life. But it also is just so much more than that. It brings you together and it, just shows you so many parts of your life. Like team USA, men's basketball again.

We're supposed to win everything easy, right? They got the best players on the team. But just like in any part of your life, at some point you might be faced with something you're not expected. You might not have your best day. You might have a presentation at work and just might not be feeling your best, right? You've practiced this 10,000 times in the mirror, but today you just don't feel good. Like LeBron and Steph have played forever in basketball. They're one of the greatest of all time, right? And just for some reason it wasn't going in today. Like that's why, and you have one shot to change it.

Cause if they lost, this would have been terrible. Like it would have been one of the biggest marks on anybody's career and legacy ever. Oh, I thought you were talking about USA basketball. Oh, well yeah. They're still talking about how did the team USA lose in 2004 when it was rookie Braun, rookie Mello, rookie D-Way. How did they even lose? Now you've got Hall of Famers, like probably 12, at least 12 Hall of Famers on that team.

You absolutely cannot At least 12. There's like 13 people on the roster. I was thinking like Derrick White maybe. I guess, yeah. I Hall of Famer. Hall of Famer, yeah. Yeah, Hall of Famer. OK, Ted Hall of Famer. Maybe have some time. Yeah, but still, that's insane. Ridiculous. Oh my And you can't lose that game. then to see that happen, it just shows you that you should keep pushing in life. And if you keep going, it will win. And everything will happen in the way it should. Because of course, Steph hit those shots. But man, that was just like.

great Olympics to see that happen was really great and I don't know you'll never see that again because now they're saying Team USA basketball have you seen these rosters? I think Team USA's reign in the basketball world is probably not gonna be ⁓ much longer. It's coming to an You see it's like Anthony Edwards, Jalen Brunson, like the Biggs are...

Bam and Chet like Bam is not even really a big bro like he is but he's like 6'9 and Chet is 180 pounds. out to Mbeat he also had a great game against Serb. Yeah but Mbeat ring chased bro. Oh yeah he metal chased the first number. like he's the third like third is USA in his citizenship right like it's like Cameroon then it's French then it's USA. They thought he was going be in France and that would have been crazy. think he switches back?

⁓ I really don't think he's gonna be... He's a ring chaser. I mean, feel like he can't even play in the Olympics anymore. He's like, just waiting four years from now. No, shut He's already... He can't even stay healthy regular games. But yeah, there was like, it's like Tyrese Halliburton, Jalen Brunson, like Paulo Banquero, you know. Coop. Coop? Coop, yeah. We've got to see how he plays. Yeah, this team is just not scary. There's no... Where's the dog, man? I thought I just... We were talking about this earlier this week and I made a video about it. It like, feels like...

We get it now, we're like, all the old players are better than the new players. Who's good right now? I think in this case, I know, oh god, this is what old Yeah, exactly, it's the same thing. I in this case, it actually really is true. That's what they always say. At least, okay, at least I can guarantee that, or not guarantee that, but I feel way more confident about that in the American players, right? The American players who we grew up watching, the LeBrons, Stephs, KDs, Chris Pauls, whatever, Anthony Davises.

They are better than the American players now. At least right now, yeah. Because, I mean, and the European players are 1,000 % better and will continue to be getting You think the talent has kind of swung that way, huh? I think it's become global. Yeah. And honestly, you have to give a big shout out to the Dream Team, 1992. lot of these could be, you know, because basketball before in the Olympics, would throw, the USA would throw college players. Yeah.

And they would lose sometimes because they'd playing against professional athletes from Spain. And so then, 1992, USA was like, all right, let's just throw our best guys out there. And obviously you got Michael Jordan, Magic, Larry, whatever. Ed Leightner. Ed Leightner. OK, I talking about the best guys. But I'm just saying, Leightner was there. One college player. Yeah, Christian Leightner was there. If you ever forget about a dream team guy, it's Christian Leightner. But anyway.

From that moment, it became more of an international sport. Basketball, mean. Basketball, yeah. Once Team USA was like, hey, we're going to bring all of these really good players. And now we're like, oh, we got to tune in and watch. We get to watch Michael Jordan play against our people. And now they're like, oh, I like basketball. Yeah. Now it's like a seven foot guy. It's like, oh, well, I like basketball. Yeah.

Malawatch wasn't even gonna play basketball. Come on, Malawatch. He was 7'2". What was he gonna do? What was he gonna do besides play basketball? Like, when you're telling me you're 7'2", what else are gonna... I know, but he just started playing. Man, if I was 7'2". I mean, 7'2", I think is a bit much. I'd be so in the league. Yeah, of course. Yeah. He's so raw. His talent will catch up with him. But like, God. If I was 7'2", I think...

I think 7'2 is like calling it too much. Like I don't want to be 7'10". I think like the highest I would want to be is 6'10". That's, I think it's still too I know, yeah. The key, the good range is like ⁓ 6'8". Yes, yes. For the tallest, for absolute tallest. Yeah, because like, cause then you go like, my God, I'm a seven footer. Like that's gross. But then also everything hurts. My back already You have to like bend everywhere. always have walk in. cars. my God, I didn't even think about that. Planes. that's terrible.

You'd have to only buses like over you got to get an uber xl just for every time yeah Wow, you have to have a driver I mean if that's what you have to go to the league if you're saying it's all like if you're seven feet Seven feet you died in the league. What do you do? Yeah? No, no no chance. I mean I think there was like a thing. It's like 2 % or like 1 to 2 % of all seven footers are in the NBA well in the NBA not playing professional basketball. Isn't that of crazy? mean, I would hope like you can't that's the thing you literally like

Oh my God, you actually can't teach that. You really can't teach that height. Yeah man, but 4th July, think Team USA and everything like that, it's always, it's kind of like going back to a little bit of life advice and things where sometimes you don't know people who have done so many good things for you to keep you in the place you are. Sometimes you talk about your parents not knowing, hey, your parents are probably shielding us and you from a lot of different things in life. Whether, you

just small things here and there, but like, you know, there's a lot of things you might not know that your parents have gone through to put you in the place you are today, right? And it's the same thing with keeping our freedom alive in the USA, right? Like it's like, we have the ability to be safe and be free in this situation. And like, we don't even know the people who are protecting ourselves, right? That's That's the only thing I'll say on it, but it's kind of interesting. I completely agree. I mean, you always got to give respect and thanks.

to the people who put their lives out in the light. Cause I'm not, have it. no, yeah. It takes a special person to do that. Absolutely. Absolutely. A person who understands that the sum of parts is greater than the individuality of everything, guess you're going to say. But yeah, it's kind of like when you, when you like, you're so much a part of a team that you don't care that about like the accolades for yourself. It's more about everybody else. And that takes a special person to be because- Absolutely. Most people-

Most people are just like, where's my recognition? Where's my words? Where's my accolades? So yeah. we're going to take a break.

All right, we're back. We're doing breaks now. Got to, right? Honestly, it's helpful. know, the podcast we listen to, or all the ones I do, they take breaks. And I thought, they don't actually take breaks. But no, they do. You got to give yourself a mental reset. Why would you think they don't actually take breaks? Because I think it's just, I thought they just would break it, and then they put the ad break in. Like, we don't have ads in. know what Yeah, but sometimes, OK, that's fair.

But sometimes they would actually just take breaks. And then come back. Like, us it'd be a second. For the viewer. I was waiting for it. I thought you'd hit it on the way back. No, I get it now. We can the food, by the way. I'm going to order it after this. We'll be fine. See, okay, what is that? We have one more break coming on here and then I'll order. No, what is that? we know it's... Okay, but I also want to make sure we...

Don't order it too early, right? Do you care about that? I mean, I can always reheat whatever I need to reheat. whatever. This is going to be the food ordering episode. You don't want it. No, no, I do. I'm going to order You want it tomorrow. All right, I'm ordering it right now. In front of the podcast right now. Thank you. All I'm saying is this place has been, it's like, you know, we finally got a spot at the Lions. Like, oh, maybe the spot will be there when we come back. It probably won't be. It's probably not even there right now. It's open right now. OK, great.

Lines die down. It takes a little time. Thank you for ordering. Baby Blue's BBQ. Baby Blue, which was the last song ever played. Alright, beef brisket, ribs, baked beans, mac and cheese. Sounds great. Baby Blue was the last song ever played in Breaking Bad. Yeah, okay, thank you. I just ordered this food live on the podcast, by the way. Let's go! We're back from break and I think it's more than enough time.

to talk about the NBA now. think it's been time. ⁓ we haven't talked about any the Yeah, none of the free agent stuff. I'm sorry about that. Yeah, we talked about, know, track and or Team USA, but we didn't hit any of free agents. So, Lakers, we have to start there. Do we? Maybe not. De'Andre Hayton. Can he do it this year? Snoozing. Can he do it? For those listening, my eyes are closed. My eyes are back. I'm tired. Yeah.

because DeAndre Aiden does not wake me up. I guess he doesn't. He's not the move. You know people like, I won't get out of bed for this guy. That's how I feel. It's just another move that like a seventh AC makes. It's not a move that a championship team makes. It's not the only move a championship team makes, which is why I'm looking at it like, but if you look at it the other way, was DFS just became.

Dory and Finney Smith just became Jake Larravia and DeAndre Ayton. Right? like... I don't know. I'm still not pretty happy about that. I know DeAndre Ayton is throwing temper tantrums. We need a wing. Desperately. Like a real wing. Not Austin Reeves and definitely not Rui Hachimura. I think Austin has to go. I think he's got to go too. Yeah. But you know, that's the Lakers. We won't belittle them. think... That's too much.

It was kind of, you know, just, just, just not doing well. And, you know, we'll see, like LeBron, I don't know, like figure it out. You know, now, now he's saying, which is fine, which is cool. But you know, if you go to Cleveland, it was actually today he posted. Yeah. It's like, bro, you know where I am. Like I come here every year, but you know, LeBron knows and you're smart enough to post. Like, if you know, someone's going to post something that you're in Cleveland, it's all intentional. It's not acting like people are.

coming after you when you're the one who's in fact posting about this thing. he saying people are coming after him? Well, he just was like Hoop Central, like get a job or whatever, like go get a plate of food, stop worrying about me. ⁓ Even though he posted the video or posted the picture. Look, there's a few things, I'm a LeBron guy, so I'll defend him with my life, but there's a few things that he did today especially that was unsettling. He wore a welcome home hat in Cleveland. He's in Cleveland right now, by the way.

He wore a welcome home hat. He practiced in the Cavs facility with a Cavs player. I didn't know it was the player. didn't see that. It was the... whose guy? ⁓ Auburn? Jani Broom? No, no, Pettiford? No, no, no. He's on the Cavs. ⁓ He got drafted? Denver. Denver. Denver Jones? Yeah, he's on the Summer League team. I didn't know Denver Jones was on team. Okay, yeah. Anyway, he did that. He also reposted a picture of Ali Clifton, who's a reporter, ⁓ wearing a Cavs jersey, and he said,

proper attire. Just like, there's a bunch of things. is a bunch of things that like he obviously is intentionally doing. And so that's why I do agree. You can't be mad when somebody's like, what does this mean? What does this mean? I know he wants it both ways. He wants to have a championship team, but then he wants to be paid $5,500. Again, I'm never saying don't take your money. Take your money. your money. But you can't have it both ways. At this point, like. ⁓

Get your $55 million, $53, whatever it was, right? Or opt out. said like he could read crazy parties. He could have opted out. you really wanted to. Dude, ask Devin Booker. He's like, we're not going to win anything anytime soon. Pay me my 75 mil. Yogi's about to sign 3205. She signed what? 4,280? 4,285. it's 71 million. Wow. I know. Isn't that ridiculous? It really The money's going insane. Oh my god. But yeah, there was that Lakers fans. But yeah, there was that Lakers fans. And you know.

We don't need to, like I said, they're kind of irrelevant right now. think what, some things that are more relevant is obviously the Bucks, what the Bucks did. I think Denver is also important too, the Nuggets. A couple developments there at Valanchunis. I'll let you take it to where you wanna take it. Well first you said, let's start with the Bucks. So the Bucks, stretch and waved, Damien Lillard. I don't think I've heard that term since Llewell Dane. The Lakers did that. I remember stretch and wave in...

NBA 2K is a thing you can do. That's it. I was like, oh, what's this thing? I've never heard of this thing. So they stretch and wave Damien Lillard. They signed Miles Turner to a four year 109, I believe. Something like that, So four year 109 deal. They lost Brooke Lopez. They re-signed Gary Trent. All their other guys came up with order. They just traded Pat Conantin for like two second round. Or threw a salary dump or something. So whatever, whatever, whatever. The stretch and wave thing is a problem.

Milwaukee is Yannis. Yannis is Milwaukee. He is not happy. If he goes anywhere else, this Bucks franchise is in hot water for a while. The only reason why they were, the only reason why they ever became relevant is because they ended up lucking into drafting him what 14th, 16th, 16th. like it wasn't even like they did anything. Right? And he turns out to be one of the greatest players ever. Yes. One of the greatest players of his generation and went to championship for that. But like,

I mean, and the crazy part is when you wave and stretch Dame, right? Like first of all, you traded for him, right? Like on Yannis's wishes, right? So you already, this is why a lot of people don't understand this, right? Like if you trade for someone, you have given up assets to get them, right? Like that first starts there. You cannot then let that person walk, especially if you're trading that much for them. That's why even though sometimes extensions, contract extensions don't make sense,

You have to do it because you can't lose the asset. factor it in. You factor it You can't, like, if I'm trading however many first round picks and Drew Holliday for Damien Lillard, right? Like, I can't let Dame go for nothing because then it means I'm trading Drew Holliday and first round picks for nothing. Yep. Like, can't let him go for zero and they're just going to wave him and stretch him. And what also makes sense too, or people can't even think about sometimes, like, okay, Miles Turner, 109 for five years, whatever it is. Four years, right? Like 25 ish, 26 mil a year.

But you're not taking into account all the dead money that Dame is accumulating for those five years. I think it's $22 million a year over those five years. Is that how much it is? Yeah. That's a lot of money. Because he's owed like one something. That is a lot of money. Yeah. So you add that onto Miles Turner's contract, that's how much you're actually paying Miles Turner. So that's a lot of money that you can't use on other people. It's a terrible move. A lot of money. Yeah. can't even think about it. I think it was, what was it, like $113 left on Dame? Yeah. Exactly. So divided by five.

So, like, yeah, so that means you just paid Miles Turner. You just paid Miles Turner a four-year, 300 or 200 and something. $25 million contract. Think about that. Which, for Miles Turner, Miles Turner is not that good. listen. I know the Pacers are probably taking kind of a gap year and they haven't paid the luxury tax before, which is why they probably let Miles Turner go, but also, if they do, really needed him. They would have kept him. He's gone. Like, you know what I mean?

We saw him in the finals when we needed him most as people who rooting for the Pacers. Yes, MIA. Couldn't hit a shot, couldn't hit what is it, the broad side of a barn. Wide open threes, top of the key, clank this, clank that. And he sometimes doesn't play big. Like that's what you notice, Sometimes. I know. When does he ever? I've never seen him in the post. I've never actually seen him defensively in the post hold his ground. Yeah. Against little babies, like little baby guards.

Like, what? He's definitely an above average shooter, especially for of course, for his size, So like, the pick and pop is a big time move for him. But when you have Chet Holmgren, who's about 113 pounds, guarding you all game, man, get to the paint. Yeah, and you say pick and pop's important, but the Bucks have no guards. KPJ, like, who's gonna even? Yannis. Yannis is gonna But again, they'll just switch that. yeah.

Like it's fine. He won't even have pick and pop opportunities. mean, if it's the honest thing, you just go under everything. Yeah. It doesn't even matter. I don't know. And then it begs you the question, is paying Miles Turner really better than just paying for two years of Brook Lopez? How much worse for the price is Brook Lopez than Miles Turner? For the price. For the price. Brook got two years 18. Yeah. I wonder what the bucks were throwing at him. Because they were probably throwing something. Yeah. Two years 18, what? I mean, as a home team, you probably got to give them

two years 20 maybe or like that's you you'd want you he would want from the home team which is why he probably didn't know I feel like he would actually like be okay with less because that means he doesn't have to move maybe I don't know right like it's but it's Milwaukee versus Los Angeles he's from LA 100 % of it he went to yeah came home yeah listen I told you I played with Alex Lopez a couple months ago who's that that's his third brother wow Alex Robin and Brooke but the only one who's not in the league

But yeah, so. Is he tough or no? Yeah, he's also huge. They're all seven feet, which is crazy. like, in like, I was playing with him and he just said, you know, you know when someone who's played high level, like even in the league, which he probably has at some point, right? Like just the screens he set, huh? He played in the league? I imagine he probably played in some summer league of some sort. I think so. I'm not sure. Again, I'm not sure. He at least played some sort of high major college basketball. I mean, I don't know. Just the way he set screens, you just already see, oh, okay, this guy.

The way tags things, we're playing just like pick up basketball. Wow, he's tagging. That's crazy. And this is the biggest thing you can tell. And I get this now when all my younger coaches were telling us to talk. He talks on defense all the time. All the time. And it tells you that this is actually what you have to do because when you're the center or you're a powerful defender, everyone else has their back turned. You have to be calling out things. see everything. Yeah. And he's talking constantly.

Like the whole time. does he say? Actually, I got you here. I got you here. Watch this is coming. It's probably going to be here. Like all the regular things that happen in basketball. I think, you know, people when we were younger, we were like, ⁓ I don't want to Why do I have to talk? You have to. You actually have to. You do. You do. Because so many things are happening that's like, watch this. It's coming. watch. Because like you're already so focused on your individual matchup. You don't know the screens coming. If you lose sight of Kyrie Irving for a split second, he's by you.

So that you have to know exactly when a screen is coming, where it's going to be, how it's set. What the coverage is, right? There's ice ice, there's red, there's red. all that stuff. Right? exactly. So, Bucks, we'll see. But who is your, you know, we've talked about a couple of bad moves so far, but who is your favorite? What team you think has made the best moves so far in free agency? What team has made the best moves?

I think I honestly I know we did talk about this and I hope I'm not stealing your answer but honestly I don't care. No it's fine yeah. The Hawks are becoming a team to watch now. Not a you know with the the playing invitational with the Heat, the Bulls, the Kings and I don't know maybe like somebody else's plays in. Grizzlies sometimes yeah. And the Hawks were part of that invitational. They're always just

42 and 40. They're anywhere from 7 to 10. They're one of those seeds every year. All the time. And now, especially with these looking a lot more open, they are looking like a solid 4 or 5 actual playoff seeding in team. So I actually really like what the Hawks are doing. think Kristaps, Prozienius, and Troy Young will play very well together. You also got...

rising stars. I Risa Ashe is all right, but he's actually not that, like he's not that And he will get better. Jalen Johnson is looking like a potential all-star. He's- in the East. Yeah. Must see TV. If I was any player, I'd just go to the East right now to get my first all-star. Like Desmond Dane will probably get an all-star. Oh, oh, a hundred percent. Fraun. Yeah. Like I think Paulo's sure fire Paulo's a starter. yeah, exactly. Siaca made it last year. So. And now there's like no one even here. There's like four spots available right now. Dame.

Tyrese, Tatum, like at least three. it's like, you know. So you like the Hawks? I think the Hawks, you didn't even talk about, you know, Nikhil Alexander Walker. Oh, I forgot about Nikhil. Yeah, Nikhil's a, dude, that's a great sign. That's the wing that the Lakers need. Yeah. But they had no money to pay They also, who'd they draft? Nobody important, right? Didn't they trade that pick? They traded Derek Queen to Pelicans. And then they got, again, they got the unprotected. Oh, they got somebody, yeah, no, it's just crazy. But they got somebody at 20.

name. He's not very memorable. Yeah, exactly. But anyway, who won free agency in your eyes? I think, well, we'll see the decision on Jonas Valanchunas, but I still have to say the Nuggets won. Because, I mean, even if Jonas Valanchunas isn't there, they still did very Wait, What's going on with Jonas Valanchunas? Yeah, well, there's a whole crazy thing that he just got traded from the Kings, and he makes $10 million for this one year as an expirer. He got traded from the Kings

the Nuggets to be Nicola Jokic's backup. And then randomly some news came out yesterday or a couple days ago that he's now weighing a EuroLeague offer. He's heavily considering Heavily considering it. I think he's actually flying there today. Someone sent me a tweet. I think it was Jack. He sent me a tweet. Mark Stein said, yeah, he's flying there with possibly the intent to sign a EuroLeague deal and get out of the trade. How much? I think it's 12 million for three years versus 1 million for 10 years. So, sorry. Other way. Versus one. ⁓

10 mil for one year, right? So I don't know why he would do that. I was saying, is there some European beef? Like, I don't know. Maybe he doesn't want to play with Yogi. Maybe he doesn't want to be a backup. I don't know. That math ain't math. And I just don't understand. Also, like the NBA, like the NBA, right? You never want to like we were talking about it. Who willingly leaves the NBA besides A.J. Griffin, besides A.J. Griffin? I mean, everybody dreams of the opportunity to play in the NBA. And you look for for Jonas Valentunis, it makes no sense.

Besides the fact that he wants a bigger role, fair, whatever. But like, really? You can absolutely win a championship and be a strong contributing factor to a championship team. Being the backup for Jogic is probably one of the easiest jobs in the world. DeAndre Jordan is terrible. He's also 55. He did it last year.

And the thing is, they're not even asking much from you. No, that's what saying. You would be the best backup Jokic has ever had in his life. Leaps and bounds. We're talking about Thomas Bryant, Deandre Jordan. Saric last year, they didn't want to play him. They traded him him. didn't want to play him. He played for a minute. It's a fantastic role. There's absolutely zero pressure on you. If you have a 12-point game, you're probably going to win. The Nuggets will probably win because they're not expecting that.

I don't know, I don't know, maybe there's something deeper going on here. Yeah, I don't know, it makes no sense to me. yeah. Not for, I thought it was going to sound like a three year 40 mil. Yeah, okay, yeah, if you want extra long money, that's great, like guaranteed, but again, the NBA is different than Euroleague. 100%. So, pending that decision, I still think the Nuggets had a great off season because first off, getting rid of MPJ for a player who's arguably better than MPJ for less money, then getting Bruce Brown.

then also THJ. Yeah, Yeah. I forgot. Bruce Brown and also Tim Hardaway Jr. on minimums, by the way. Is that a minimum? Yeah, think Bruce Brown and THJ are minimum because Bruce Brown, THJ also had a big, contract. Like, he got paid 45 million to do nothing. Now he can go back and be like, you know, I'll get paid. Yeah, I made my money. Let's win another chair. Yeah, exactly. Right. And there's one more person I'm missing. I'm missing anybody else with nuggets.

T.H.J. Bruce Brown. I feel like there's one more other person besides Cam Johnson, of course, but like maybe not. Maybe it was not. I mean, they're probably going to lose Russ, right? Yeah, great. Good. Yeah, that's a That's a win, bro. So yeah. But yeah, doing that, what they did was Michael Porter Jr. was making I don't even know how much, an exorbitant amount of money. It's not worth how much he's worth. And they pretty much go to Brooklyn and are like, hey, will you just like take this contract if we give you this pick that.

It's probably going to be good, but it's also six years down the line. no one knows what's going happen. Unprotected pick 2032. Yeah. That's a big time pick. That's a big time pick. It's a big time asset to think about right now. Right? Like, but again, someone might come to Denver, you might draft someone. it doesn't matter. Right? But yeah. In six years, the Nuggets, you can probably say they won't be that good. Right? So as good as they are right now. But still, I think anyone who has Jokic, Nikola Jokic as your best player would do that every single time. You just got

Cam Johnson, who is a much better player out of the catch. So much better. Because MPJ is a great shooter, but you can see he's a little slow thinker. Cam Johnson is going to make quicker plays. And that's what you need to do. You need to make quick plays, do more drives. think Michael Porter Jr. was something he was in the bottom 5 % in drives per 100 possessions, which is like, you can't do that. You need to be able to do a little bit more than just shoot. I don't think I've ever seen him. I can't remember the time he drove.

I can't remember what time he drove. doesn't drive. He'll pump fake and maybe pass. He'll pump fake side step three. Pump fake side That's probably, that's more likely what the shot's And he won't be able to drive. But like, if you're just able, it's just small, every once in a while, if you can hit a defense with a drive off a pump fake, Then they're like, this guy might drive down. then boom, the hand down. Even that. And then there's also like, they're in rotation on the own play itself. So you get a couple passes, a couple swing passes. Jamal Murray's probably open for a three. Christian Brown doesn't matter, right?

I think that's a really good, really, really great off season because they took OKC, the Denver Nuggets took OKC to seven games with three players. mean, Luke Dort said it himself. was like, because the Thunder were down 2-1 to the Pacers and to the Nuggets. he said, when we were down 2-1 to the Pacers, we all felt like we could do it. We all felt like we could win. But he said, when we were down 2-1 to Nuggets, he said they were all panicking a little bit. Goes back to my point, bro. Yeah, no, 100%.

Speaking of, who do you see being starting five for the Denver Nuggets? Yeah, I mean, I think it's going to be, I think it's just going to be their five that they have and just going to plug in Cam Johnson for MPJ. I think there's a solid four right now and I think you might be able to close with THJ some days over Christian Brown. Like, I think that's important. Yeah, so what would the five be? I think it would be Jamal Murray, Christian Brown.

Aaron Gordon, Cam Johnson, and Jokic. think that's like probably going to be their first off starting five. And again, you can close with different ways if you want. Sometimes Bruce Brown might close like even for Jamal Murray and like regular season games, I think, probably not in playoff games, obviously. But they have the whole thing that gets needed was just to have a little bit of options, right? They had no options. Like their options at the end of the playoffs last year was just like, are we going to play Jokic 48 minutes or 24 minutes in the whole second half or are we going to arrest them for one minute? Right. That was the only option they had. And

I especially if they have Valentunis, they are. Those are eight solid, nine solid players that have all played playoff minutes who can do something. Very solid pieces. I think they all have finals experience. Was Valentunis in the finals on the Raptors team? He might have. I feel like he was. feel like he was. Then he might have a ring. Yeah, maybe not. I don't know.

I don't know. I don't remember. Either way, he was on the Raptors team. They went deep in the playoffs. When he had a producer on team. Yeah. Check that please. Yeah. Dude, that, I look. And I think one of the biggest parts too of, of NBA playoffs and being successful is having different lineups you can go to in a series, right? One series, Valentounis might be really important because you're playing ⁓ a team like the Rockets who wants to play two bigs all the time. Right. Right. But then you would be playing the Lakers.

or the Warriors and it's like, Valentunis is like unplayable to see this. But you also have Bruce Brown, THJ. That is the key. OKC did that perfectly, right? Some series they would play Jalen Williams, the other one, Jay Will. Some series they Kenrish Williams, right? They had so many options, right? Jay Will played a lot in the earlier rounds and didn't play at all in the finals.

Like at all, you think, oh, but he played a lot early on. No, he didn't play at all in the first Everybody's like, oh, he's just smiling all the time. He is. He is. I would be too. Hey, man, there's something in his life to smile about, for real. Yeah, but I like the Nuggets. yeah, I mean, it's crazy just how many moves go on. The Rockets are also, we can list off some, we can go through quicker teams. The Rockets look good. They had a good off season. Fred Van Vliet, that was a good one we were just talking about, being able to- We're talking about.

get him from making one year 45 mil to two years 50, which is great for him. It's a win-win. Win-win, right? Team was like, oh great, now we get to cut your bill in half, basically, per year. And he's like, oh, I made an extra five. I feel like they got everybody. They got DFS, they got Capella. They just have so many players. When's Reid Sheppard even going to get minutes? I mean, that's crazy. I feel like, yeah. I don't think so. He doesn't really fit their mode, right? You have to defend. Yeah, he's kind of like. small.

I remember he clapped of Aaron Holliday in that clip. Yeah, I remember. Everyone was like, oh, this guy's next. But Aaron got more. He got 100%. He's still back on team. He retained his rights. Aaron's going to get way more minutes than Rishabh. Yeah, he retained his rights. But yeah, any other things you want to talk about for HCYs? Any teams did something a little interesting? I thought the Clippers did a good move getting Brooke they needed. They needed a backup center. We could see that. I think.

It's just like the center depth, right? Like I feel like now we're going back to this, need centers. Remember what happened to like, oh, we're not gonna play big anymore. Yeah, I mean, look, the one thing where I just, I wholly overpay was Luke Cornett, four years, 41 mil to the Spurs. Is he even gonna start? No, is he gonna start? You kidding me? No, he's not gonna start. He's gonna be coming off the bench. That's a lot of money. It's way too think they paid that just to make sure no one else got him?

What does it matter? It's not like Luke Cornette was clamping up Wemby. I know. I mean, I don't know. I don't know. Look, I think Luke Cornette is a very solid piece. He's a four mil a year piece, not a 10 mil a year guy. Especially with the Spurs. They're known to not overpay anybody because they just have like a... Probably, you know, you probably even think about, we just want to have them for the salary down the road. Maybe. trade. Oh, oh, oh. That's what I mean, right?

That's also we got to think about too like ⁓ let's just you know, let's just sign him sign him Yeah, you'll be a buck soon. Yeah, exactly. Exactly. Yonis comes in we this salary filler. Yeah, I think last team I'll mention is Detroit I think they had a fairly good offseason ⁓ Besides Malik Beasley. I don't know what's going on there. They lost like dude some of those videos We were talking about rough, but no very rough There's a more player gambling things coming out right now with the baseball player and Malik Beasley. What do you think's going on? Look, so I think

betting has become much more prevalent in sports in these last what four years three years four years crazy I think that there's probably many players out there gambling but the only way because obviously no player is dumb enough to say ⁓ Malik Beasley five here's my account well they that's they said is they okay I know the joke still you got it yeah I'm sure there's so many guys out there gambling

play on these teams or on these teams, staff members, whatever. It's almost impossible to not have a connection. But the reason why they're not getting caught is because they're putting $100 down. They're putting $200 down. All these guys, like the pitcher, it's thousands of dollars on ⁓ if a relief pitcher throws a ball first. The niche bet. One of the most niche bets of If I'm the FBI or whatever, if I'm the betting

You know, police. I'm looking, I'm like, why? much of a sicko do you have to be to bet like the first inning of an eighth inning, if it's going, the first pitch, if it's going to be a I'm like, why? Now, why did this guy, why did somebody bet $5,000 that this was going to be a ball? And the ball was like, when I was in the dirt, was, he skipped it. He threw it like 58 feet. And so you're like, huh, yeah. So those people get caught and it's not good. It's definitely not good. But how do we fix it?

I think people are betting I think it's always gonna happen but people being smart about it They're only putting like a hundred or two hundred but not like thousands of dollars on something stupid Yeah, and again the thing is if you put a hundred dollars or two dollars if it doesn't hit it's okay. it's fine You don't feel the need like Malik Beasley when he got that really easy. What was that down the court? I mean, there's so much more about the Malik Beasley thing, which it's probably gonna it's probably is sure It's gonna be bad. He was owing his barber like $28,000

He was owing his dentist like 30,000. But it's like, isn't it crazy? It's like you're in the league, bro. And he also, it wasn't even like he was on a rookie deal. He signed a relatively fine deal. Yeah, pretty sure was pretty good. Yeah, he's a shooter. He should get paid a lot-ish, right? Again, anything over two mil is like, man, you're living. I know you got to give up taxes and...

Agent fees, but still you're high level. That's more than that's way more than any of us and they get all meals all this Yeah, trading things. Yeah exactly like listen, it's I don't know but I like what the Pistons did all things considered getting Duncan Robinson Yeah, Caris Lavergne. Yeah, did he get somebody else? feel like they got somebody else Simone Fontecchio is not on the team anymore. Yeah. Yeah, I don't know but getting Robinson and

Laverte those are two good moves as far as like just getting another ball handler and Laverte who can kind of do things and give Kate a little bit off bench off the ball right yeah, I'll be Kate some moments off the ball too because like he had a lot every time he's in it's high pick and roll all this and he has to make a lot of Yeah, that was all the shakes. You just got to give him so I'm just a couple blows here That's why like you know even Clarkson with to the Knicks right that's kind of a big move at least giving Brunson

Maybe someone who could do something like and Mike Brown. Maybe we'll change things up a little bit. I hope he will. I hope he does. I don't know. But I think the East is going to be interesting. I think really anybody has a chance. The Cavs should be number one. But I was listening to Zach Lowe and he's like, I talked to people around the league that no one's scared of the Cavs. Like no one. Yeah. Because I mean, I'm not scared of them come playoff time. Yeah. Jared Allen is a poppy. Yeah. Yeah. Mowgli, Garland, all these guys are sitting out playoff games because of sore ankles. Like I think I think Garland had the only

Like what was like, okay girls out. Yeah, now he's out for like a while. Yeah, well like Mobly's but like Mobly hunter and Jared out or I don't know if Jared on sound Yeah for like a sprained thumb and like yeah, it's play like it's a play but then they play the next game Yeah, like what's the point of that and you already down 1o wasn't like you don't down 1o. Yeah, that was after that big show. Yep So god, we'll see you West is wide open. I think I'm sorry East is wide open I think the West is probably like the tears of teams. I think you've got to put

I guess you got to put OKC on its own tier just because they're defending champs and then I'm putting OKC, I'm putting Denver in that tier. What about Houston? have Houston right there? They're not there yet. They haven't proved anything yet. No, they've really, mean, know Van Vliet is and obviously KD, but that's the only playoff experience they have really. And I know they made it last year. They ball handlers too. They don't really have a ton. Yeah. It's Fred and that's really it. Right. So yeah, we to see about that. Tate Burke? Yep.

Alright, we're back. Feeling refreshed? Always. Got a good scroll time? With... Essential Water. Yeah, next time. Next time. That segment was sponsored by... Quinoa Crisps. Undercover. Undercover, that's your favorite. Soap Actually, it really is good. Very good. They are even listening to this, but there is zero percent chance. you DMing them? I DM them, no response. Hey, listen. Shoot or shoot, baby. Got it.

Speaking of shooters, basketball's kind of coming to bit of an end right now. There's summer league starting, but things are... I know. I'm just saying. No, no. I wasn't saying it to you. I was saying it to someone. yeah. There's summer league starting. We got Brawny year two, so we really get to watch that. But everything's going to be dying down, and we're getting really into the meat of the sports calendar. We're a little bit further down right now, but the meat is the good part. Yeah.

We're into it. I said we're gonna get there. You said we're really getting to the meat. We're gonna get into it. We're gonna get into it. Listen, it's a slow burn. We got a tough July and a tough August, but after that, we're set until February. god, September. So, once September hits, then it's, wow. September's the best. No, no, it's October, right? Because basketball is October is the best, yeah. NBA, MLB, and NFL. Like, it's crazy. But yeah, we're gonna start talking a bit more.

about football. We've started a series on our TikTok ranking every NFL team from 32 to one. That series has started. We think we got through 29 so far. That's been out. Yeah, through 29. We're going to film a few more today. There'll be more out by the time this podcast comes Absolutely. Stay tuned because number one might not be who you think it is. It probably is.

Maybe not. They probably don't say it. I'm not gonna say it. So wait, 32. Let's just do who we've done so far. 32 is New Orleans. New Orleans Saints. 31, New York Jets. Yikes. Sorry, Dad. 30 was the Browns. Cleveland Browns. 29 was Indianapolis Colts. then 28. 28, we can talk about it. Yeah. Yeah. Because we're going to post tonight. Yeah, 28 was the Giants. New York Giants. We'll continue to do 27, who is the Tennessee Titans.

Don't go too far. rest will be out. But if you want to see where your team is, us in line. Simbros. Yeah, Simbros on TikTok, everywhere. Whatever you get your podcast, anything. know, YouTube Shorts. I'm not a big YouTube Shorts guy. Shout out to YouTube Shorts people. There's so many short forms. There's Facebook, Shorts, Are they reals?

Yeah, but anyway, with those, you know, with these rankings, we're actually also going to like give a division score, which should help all my betters out there. I know I'm one of them. Yep. It should help people bet the teams over unders. Yeah. In terms of wins before the season starts. Yeah. No, absolutely. So like obviously, know, AFC North, tough division.

You always want to go under just because those are gonna be some tough games. definitely. ⁓ But yeah, anything else you have a challenge or you kind of just going through it? No, definitely got a challenge. definitely got a challenge. Everybody bear with me here.

Challenge of the week. Go to somebody who has been in your corner. Somebody who has motivated you, somebody who has pushed you, and just tell them thank you. That's it. That person might not even know they've been in your corner, too. Exactly. Also, yeah, probably I would say I would add on to that someone who it might not be, you know, OK, it's not your brother. It's not that person. know? Someone who is in your corner, who you know has been in your corner, but might not actually know it. That person who is

more worried about, not worried, but more focused on your success rather than their own. That person is somebody who needs to be recognized. And they don't even want to be recognized, but they should. They deserve to be recognized. That's everything. That's what we do here. try to make sure you know that there are people always in your corner. You never know that, you know,

what people are saying about you, helping you out. You never know. The opportunities happen because of the people you know and because of the support systems you have always. 100%. So be grateful for that and understand that there are people always in your corner. Always, even if it's silent. You're silent heroes, like I said. Nice. But yeah, I think with that on the special for the July edition, that's it for us. Happy fourth, people. Stay locked.
