What is ...But God?

A weekday morning devotional series written by Aaron Marcarelli and hosted by Chad McBeam

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to obtain an inheritance which is imperishable, undefiled, and will not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, who are protected by the power of God through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.”
1 Peter 1:3-5 NASB2020

More praise and uplifting words from Peter. These words remind us who we follow and why we follow Him “The God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ.”
Peter’s words are the gospel, this is what God has done for us. We need to have faith in those words, we need to know that Christ’s death resurrection and ascension is eternal and is for all who choose to accept and follow! Jesus said “If anyone loves Me, he will follow My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our dwelling with him.”
John 14:23 NASB2020
We have Jesus in us through the power of the Holy Spirit. Use Him, dwell in the Spirit seek Him and His righteousness, every hour of every day so that we can promote the power of His word and follow Him as He has called us to do.
Lord, we praise your Holy and perfect name. We thank you for giving us eternal life with you. Help us to have the strength to follow you no matter the cost. Help us to love as you love, and to forgive as you forgive, so that your gospel can be spread to all people in all nations. We pray all these things in Jesus name Amen…
