Tim / GM:

Last time on Cloudfall, divers here and he brought friends. The last day on Lor is turning into a storm front of lethal power in more ways than one. The turtle of the island and the party are eager to depart and the whale is close by to deliver them to back sea. But can they make it past Diver?

Tim / GM:

Come on out,

Tim / GM:

Guy, you see Diver turning around away from you. In the middle of flexing and drinking the light from the island, you see him turn around to where that crossbow bolt came from and

Tim / GM:

he says again, come on out. It's time for you to come home, Aaron. Your little runaway vacation is over. Papa's here to collect you and to apologize. You've proven to me that you're all grown up now.

Tim / GM:

That means you get to be a leader. Come on now. Let me show you what this was all for. All the fighting. All the killing and stealing.

Tim / GM:

It wasn't just for some coin. It's bigger than that. Now, come on. Come take your reward. You've earned it.

Tim / GM:

Come out.

Tim / GM:

Diver raises his hands and drops them hard and ripping out from him a wave of fairy fire 10 times, a 100 times more potent than what you had seen before rips across the entire island. You all fail your saves. Everyone is affected by fairy fire.

Hannah / Eryn:

Oh, what about the Toril?

Thomas / Guy:

Look. We checked the road

Hannah / Eryn:

book on

Tara / Journey:

that one too.

Hannah / Eryn:

I'm behind a tree. What does it do?

Tim / GM:

Invisible. Fairy fire, enwraps you in colored flames, makes it, it gives you disadvantage on stealth checks and makes invisible things easy to find.

Hannah / Eryn:

That's me.

Tim / GM:

But for whatever the effects are happening here, not all of you can see each other at the moment. Previous to this, Journey was actually invisible with the help of Hidden step. Guy was the only one facing Don Diver, Doran had taken a slightly different path to remain concealed, Poppy is far ahead of them closer to Parsemin and Smilgrin and Aaron is up on the cliffs after having taken a pot shot down a Diver. Diver used his turn to cast ferry fire. Doran, it's now your turn.

John / Doran:

Is quick save a bonus action?

Hannah / Eryn:

Quick save.

Tim / GM:

Ain't no save states in D and D.

John / Doran:

So, I I just wanna get an idea of scale, like, how far south can I go, like, past Poppy?

Tim / GM:

No. I think we'll do it in stages. So if you were to use all of your movement right now, you'd get to where Poppy is, and then you'd have to do one more increment beyond that to get to the ships, let's say.

John / Doran:

Even if I take the roundabout route? Correct. Okay. So I'm gonna use my turn to just, continue south, as far as I can get.

Tim / GM:

Yeah. By the end of your turn, you do see Poppy. She is trying to move between panicked and stealth, running with Mikey in tow.

John / Doran:

Okay. I'm going use my bonus action to say, Poppy, you got this, and give some bardic inspiration.

Tara / Journey:

How many of those do you have?

John / Doran:

I can do 4.

Hannah / Eryn:

Nice.

John / Doran:

And that's it.

Hannah / Eryn:

Also, I believe I covered someone in acid last time.

Tim / GM:

Yeah. Parson is taking 2 d four acid. Is it at the beginning of their turns?

Hannah / Eryn:

Yes. Okay.

Tim / GM:

Alright. And it is turn.

Hannah / Eryn:

Take that damage. Alright.

Tim / GM:

Go ahead and roll that for me. 2 d 4.

Hannah / Eryn:

Okay. Oh, no. Shit. That is 5 acid damage. K.

Tim / GM:

Parson continues to kind of lemon face. They keep blinking their eyes heavily and kind of shaking off their pixie wings, and they're gonna teach you some proper spell work.

Hannah / Eryn:

Excuse me. I went to Teltery School of Magic.

Tim / GM:

You see, Parsonman kind of wave their wrist in an almost painful looking quick gesture and with 2 fingers, whips this little bead towards you and it expands rapidly into, a fiery sphere that abruptly

Tim / GM:

It's It's

Hannah / Eryn:

an energy ball.

John / Doran:

It's a chromatic orb. A

Tim / GM:

chromatic orb. This, scintillating ball of elemental energy collides with you for some damage.

Hannah / Eryn:

Is there no save or or something?

Tim / GM:

We'll find out. You don't make a save. That is a 13 to hit.

Hannah / Eryn:

Shit. Yeah. Yeah.

Tim / GM:

Right. And that is light hunting damage.

John / Doran:

Poppy's armor is made out of pie dough.

Tara / Journey:

Tinfoil. It's

Hannah / Eryn:

it's very well laminated.

Thomas / Guy:

That's got a soggy bottom.

Hannah / Eryn:

It's roll.

Tim / GM:

Poppy, that is 15 lightning damage.

Hannah / Eryn:

Oh. Okay.

Tara / Journey:

Where did I?

Hannah / Eryn:

I'm not, I'm not a tank.

Tim / GM:

However, in addition to that, you hear, damn it. Are you okay?

Hannah / Eryn:

I don't remember his name. My Oh, Ganymede. Ugh. Is that you?

Tim / GM:

Yes.

Hannah / Eryn:

I'm real hurt. I don't think I have time right now. I'm I'm in the middle of a

Tim / GM:

You should get that sound of a bitch. What's for? He used a chromatic orb.

Hannah / Eryn:

Oh, wait.

Tim / GM:

You could do it too now if you want.

Hannah / Eryn:

I've never I've never done that.

Tim / GM:

Well, it's okay. I'll show you how. I got a taste for it.

Hannah / Eryn:

Poppy. Yes.

Tim / GM:

Now on. You are directly struck with a magical spell. You have a high chance to immediately learn that spell.

Hannah / Eryn:

What? Sick.

Tara / Journey:

Copies of the tank. Just for

Tim / GM:

Forever. Okay. You add it to your spell book.

Hannah / Eryn:

I'm gonna I have sick

Thomas / Guy:

Popies of tank now.

Tim / GM:

Yeah. You gotta take damage now just to absorb all the hits.

Thomas / Guy:

We're, like, shoving Poppy in front of spellings.

Tim / GM:

We hold her

Hannah / Eryn:

we hold her up like little Simba.

Tim / GM:

Just to the fight of all. Absorb the disintegrating.

Thomas / Guy:

Go to the party, Poppy.

Hannah / Eryn:

Hell, yes.

Tim / GM:

With that, Parseman also, takes flight once again and begins chasing after you alongside Smile brand. Journey, it is your turn.

Tara / Journey:

Yeah. So fairy fire hit me, I'm assuming. Yep. And can I see that it has illuminated me?

Hannah / Eryn:

Yes. Yep.

Tara / Journey:

Alright. I'm gonna cast hunter's mark on diver.

Tim / GM:

K. Good old exchange.

Tara / Journey:

Yep. Just fuck it. And then I'm going to shoot an arrow at him.

Tim / GM:

Perfect.

Tara / Journey:

I'm picturing that I'm tucked behind a tree Mhmm. Like, darting out and then shooting arrow and darting back in. Mhmm. Yeah. That's an 11.

Tim / GM:

Does not hit diver. Not with that beefy armor.

Tara / Journey:

Yeah. Oh, well. I tucked behind the tree again.

Tim / GM:

Okay. Yeah. I think with the miss, he probably doesn't notice, that he was even shot at in the moment. Mhmm. Doesn't go looking for you.

Tim / GM:

Next up is Smile Gren. He shakes off the concussion of having just slammed himself against the wall and once again begins chasing after you, Poppy. He is double timing to catch up with you. And during, this time you can see it as well. You see Parson and Smilegren coming down this canyon after you see, Poppy and Mikey moving by.

Tim / GM:

Smilegren does another one of those running leaps and drop kicks Mikey from behind or tries to.

Hannah / Eryn:

Just punts him across the canyon.

Tim / GM:

Oh, no. Okay. So Mikey knows that his shell is good for a lot of things, can protect him from a lot of damage, but this looks like a bullet that Mikey doesn't wanna catch. So instead of using his shell, Mikey actually ducks and lets Smile Grin go flying over him. Smile Grin is now kind of pinching you in this canyon so that you're between Smile Grin and are against you, Poppy.

Tim / GM:

Yikers. Alright. That is a 15 and an 18.

Hannah / Eryn:

Yeah.

Tim / GM:

Okay.

Hannah / Eryn:

She's gonna die.

Tara / Journey:

She should've run for Poppy.

John / Doran:

Can I hear the damage for the first one before the second one,

Tim / GM:

takes effect? First attack was 9 damage.

John / Doran:

K. Did Poppy already go this round? Sorry. This is kind of important.

Tara / Journey:

No.

John / Doran:

Okay. Fuck. Yeah. I I can't really do much. K.

John / Doran:

I think I actually am going to use silvery barbs here on the second attack to try to see if I can get him to fail. Okay. 2nd attack, reroll that, please.

Tim / GM:

12.

Hannah / Eryn:

Still hits. Oh.

John / Doran:

Oh, copy you.

Hannah / Eryn:

My AC is 11. I'm a wizard. That's a problem.

Tim / GM:

Oh, jeez.

Tim / GM:

I might have a 3

Hannah / Eryn:

foot 4 wizard. I don't have mage armor. I'm level 4. Where would I get that?

John / Doran:

Can you use like level 1 spell?

Hannah / Eryn:

I'm a baker. How much how much damage is the second?

Tim / GM:

Six damage on the second attack.

Hannah / Eryn:

Poppy is down. No. Poppy. She's 3 foot 4. Does your a tiny

Tim / GM:

Yeah.

Hannah / Eryn:

In the dirt?

Tim / GM:

Next up is Poppy.

Hannah / Eryn:

I guess I'm rolling a death save.

John / Doran:

Well, does she get advantage since I use so far?

Hannah / Eryn:

I have inspiration and Bardic inspiration. Does that count?

Tim / GM:

You could use inspiration on this if you wanted to.

Tara / Journey:

You used silvery barbs.

John / Doran:

I know. I still use silvery barbs.

Tim / GM:

So You

Tara / Journey:

have to choose who gets the advantage right away.

Tim / GM:

Oh, shit. Yeah.

John / Doran:

I'm gonna give silvery barbs to myself.

Hannah / Eryn:

How did death saves work? What am I rolling? 2 20. Just a straight roll. That's a

Tim / GM:

10. That is a pass. Okay. That's one towards positive.

Hannah / Eryn:

Isn't it

Thomas / Guy:

are are those con saves? Or

John / Doran:

it's just a flat.

Hannah / Eryn:

Just a d. D.50. Right on. Poppy coughs and twitches in the dirt.

Tim / GM:

But you're alive for now.

Hannah / Eryn:

For now.

Tim / GM:

Next up is the turtle. Some of you that are still a little farther back in the island can hear some shouting. Mikey takes a couple, lurching steps to continue running down this canyon and reaches back for Poppy's hand and doesn't find it. He stops in the dirt, takes a couple steps back towards Poppy's body, and picks her up off the ground.

Tara / Journey:

Oh, Mikey? Oh, what a good boy.

Hannah / Eryn:

This is why you always think you're, like, Google Homes and stuff. What?

Tara / Journey:

Are you calling Mikey a Google Home?

Hannah / Eryn:

It's Mikey.

Tara / Journey:

He's an EPC, so he's basically a robot. You gave him your chocolate chips. Yeah.

Tim / GM:

Mikey Beans running down that canyon. Doran, given the fairy fire, given the verbal component of silvery barbs, there's just too much strong attention to you to be completely hidden in this situation. Mhmm. The the silvery bar was probably the nail in the coffin, but you see that Mikey is probably gonna make it out of this with Poppy, leaving you now to deal with Parson and Smile Grin.

John / Doran:

Okay.

Tim / GM:

It is now Gus's turn. Gus takes a couple big steps and stands right beside Guy and puts his fists up like a dueling pose again. Remember, he's got Guy's head on his shoulders, so he's kind of doing this, close tandem thing.

Hannah / Eryn:

Gus is the suit of armor. Yeah. I just remembered the Okay. Gotta get my my head wrapped around that one. Oh, that was a joke.

Thomas / Guy:

Looks like you're not the only one with a new shiny set of armor.

Tim / GM:

Diver gives kind of a skeptic look to Gus. And with your kind of cocky grin on Gus's body, Gus takes a couple steps and just whines back and punches Diver, and you see in that moment Gus's shortcomings. Oh. The armor just kind of crumples in and folds. Yeah.

Tim / GM:

Gus weighs about £35, and he's completely empty. He doesn't have any strength, really.

Hannah / Eryn:

Sad.

Tim / GM:

And with that, the island goes dark. Dark. The shadow flying overhead, Kree, the giant bird, the great beast, dives towards the island. You hear this howling sound like a meteor falling from the sky, and then it collides with the dirt. And wherever you are on the island, you can feel the shaking just intensify for a moment, and the dust kicks up in a storm of feathers.

Tim / GM:

It's not far from any of you. It's kind of between the tortle and and where Doran, is right now. It hasn't gone for anyone yet. It is looking for targets. Anyone that can see Kree on their on its way down sees that Kree is frazzled.

Tim / GM:

Its feathers have been, like, torn out and sundered. Its crest is is just kind of, like, ruffled back. Part of its beak seems to be, like, chipped or or somehow deteriorating.

Hannah / Eryn:

We haven't seen this bird up close though. Right? Because we only saw it kind of through a cloud briefly. Right?

Tim / GM:

Yep. Okay. It is Aaron's turn.

Hannah / Eryn:

What color is this bird?

Tim / GM:

It is, like, pink and cyan.

Hannah / Eryn:

I can see diver. Yep. Is he close?

Tim / GM:

Yes. He's within shooting distance.

Hannah / Eryn:

Is the burp that landed near me? Is it down on the ground or is it up on the cliff?

Tim / GM:

Down on the ground but much farther away from you.

Hannah / Eryn:

Okay. I am going to run, run, run, run to the edge of the cliff. K. I am going to jump jump off the cliff, arms wide out. I am going to shift into an aarakocra.

Hannah / Eryn:

Okay. And I know I can't fly. K.

Tim / GM:

But

Hannah / Eryn:

trying to get more wind resistance with the feathers Sure. And I'm going to have 2 daggers in my hands, and I'm going to land on Diver and try to stab him in the neck with both my daggers. Okay.

John / Doran:

That's what

Hannah / Eryn:

I'm trying to do.

Tim / GM:

Sure. Give me an acrobatics check with advantage.

Hannah / Eryn:

Okay. Acrobatics. So I'm good at that one. 1st roll was a 3, everyone. 11.

Tim / GM:

I'm gonna say you you fucked up the jump so that you're probably gonna get hurt from doing this.

Thomas / Guy:

Mhmm.

Tim / GM:

So give me the actual attack on this now.

Hannah / Eryn:

Okay. My 2 dagger handed attack. Yep. Come on, baby.

Tara / Journey:

Twenty underneath the

Tim / GM:

Oh, my god.

Tara / Journey:

Was very exciting.

Tim / GM:

Got it.

Hannah / Eryn:

You guys have the monopoly on those. Yeah.

Thomas / Guy:

Yeah. I had a really good crit under my iPad

Hannah / Eryn:

plus. Alright. That was a nat 20.

Tim / GM:

Yeah. Roll your damage.

Tara / Journey:

It's because the twenties are shy, so

Thomas / Guy:

you have

Tara / Journey:

to get it underneath something. It's okay. It's like, I'm, oh, I'm here.

Hannah / Eryn:

I see my shorts are down. Did I lose my daggers from throwing them at people? Probably.

Tim / GM:

One

Tim / GM:

of them. Yeah. The rust monsters, I hate it. I think I

Hannah / Eryn:

only have a short sword. So I guess I'm just doing this with a short sword. Okay. It's fine. Doesn't really change anything.

Hannah / Eryn:

Okay. So 1 d 6 +4. Double it? Double the dice. K.

Hannah / Eryn:

Oh. So, 15 damage.

Tim / GM:

Alright. That's the first damage we've seen on Diver.

Hannah / Eryn:

You can go to hell, and I'm gonna slice it with my short sword across the neck.

Tim / GM:

Okay. Yeah. Gaia, from your perspective, you see Eren just kind of flying off of the cliff side and getting larger and larger until she makes a sloppy landing on Diver, but you can see the fury in her eyes. She is just locked on her target, jabs it right through the armor, right through the bismite, and you see it go into his skin, into his flesh, and you see Diver just become covered in this glistening sweat as he bucks and arches his back and kind of reaches for Aaron who's behind him. And Guy, it's your turn.

Thomas / Guy:

That makes it a little different.

Tara / Journey:

Mhmm. Kick him while he's down.

Thomas / Guy:

Yeah. Guy is Guy was winding up for an attack when suddenly Eren lands on top of him. Mhmm. As Aaron and Diver tussle, Guy's body turns to Gus and Guy says, I see you're not much good in a fight. Perhaps you should go find Poppy.

Thomas / Guy:

Make sure she's okay. And then, they start doing the Spider Man point at each other.

Tim / GM:

Okay. Yeah. Yeah. The, the armor is a little unsure of what to do. It takes your head off and it's kind of holding you by the hair and it's searching for its helmet now.

Tim / GM:

It doesn't know if if you want your head back or what the deal is.

Thomas / Guy:

I'll have better luck finding Poppy with the head. You take care of things here, me. Guy, the body is going to attack Diver. K.

Hannah / Eryn:

Guy, the body. Like, Jesse the body? I love that. Please don't run for governor. I love it so much.

Thomas / Guy:

No promises.

Hannah / Eryn:

Guide the body.

Thomas / Guy:

Alright. Here comes an attack. I am going to use guided strike to make that a 22 to hit.

Tim / GM:

Yeah. That hits him.

Hannah / Eryn:

You see an Aaron Cockrell, like, on Diver's neck just trying to slice him. Eren Cochra. Eren Cochra.

Thomas / Guy:

I'm doing my damage first, and then he'll have to do a wisdom save for frighteningly. K.

Hannah / Eryn:

It's a 6 and 6. What? Jesus.

Thomas / Guy:

A 16 damage.

Tim / GM:

Damn. Alright. Now we're getting somewhere.

Thomas / Guy:

And, he has a wisdom saving throw.

Tim / GM:

K. 7.

Hannah / Eryn:

That's a fail. Yay.

Thomas / Guy:

He is frightened.

Tim / GM:

For the second time, he's frightened

Hannah / Eryn:

of you. Very scary.

Thomas / Guy:

As Guy's sword pulls out of Diver, the head says, you should not have come back as the flame grows brighter on the body. Beautiful.

Tim / GM:

Aaron, you can see this as you're kind of harrying Diver from behind, still kind of bothering him with the short sword, still threatening him. Guy from the other side essentially runs him through with a great blade of load him or attempts to as best he can, and he makes some serious holes in Diver. And you see him struggle, and you see the fear in his eyes as he turns away from Guy, and you hear Diver mumble to himself. He just says,

Tim / GM:

How is he not obeying? How is he disobeying?

Tim / GM:

Next up is Diver. Oh, no. So fear. He can't move towards you? Is that how

Thomas / Guy:

He can't move toward me, and he has disadvantage on everything while he can see me.

Tim / GM:

Oh, great.

Thomas / Guy:

Okay. I don't know how you wanna rule that in terms of my head or my body or both or what.

Hannah / Eryn:

He, like, turns away from the body and sees that. He's

Tara / Journey:

like I

Hannah / Eryn:

mean, I feel like that'd be even more scared. That'd be, like, doubling down. Yeah.

Tim / GM:

Like, I

Hannah / Eryn:

am even more scared now.

Tim / GM:

Alright. You see some of that pink light start to swell around Diver again, and it almost starts to, like, drip off of him. He starts taking some punches at you. So disadvantage on all these?

Thomas / Guy:

Yep. Okay. This hadn't come up. I'm not wearing armor. True.

Thomas / Guy:

So I don't know what my AC is?

Tim / GM:

It is 10 plus dexterity.

Thomas / Guy:

Ouch. Okay.

Tim / GM:

And that is a 14 to hit. That hits. Okay. 2nd attack He's a 13 to hit. Yep.

Tim / GM:

Okay. You see Diver reel back with his fists and you can see a heat ripple coming off of this bismite as he winds back and goes to punch you, and he slams into your arm. But he doesn't beat an 18 because that's what plate armor is, because that's what's on your arm.

Thomas / Guy:

What's that now?

Tim / GM:

A 13 also doesn't beat an 18 with his second attack. You see, Gus disobeyed you. Yeah.

Hannah / Eryn:

Gus. Yeah.

Tim / GM:

Your head has fallen to the ground, but in the space of 2 seconds, Gus has fully donned plate mail armor onto you.

Tim / GM:

Oh, a

Hannah / Eryn:

good armor boy. He saved your butt.

Tim / GM:

Ding. Diver takes a step back, shakes his head, and goes, no. And he, with both fists, slams the ground, and you see the ground rip up around you. You need to make a dexterity save. Yeah.

Tara / Journey:

Your favorite.

Tim / GM:

Mhmm.

Tim / GM:

Same with you, Aaron.

Thomas / Guy:

Gonna use my Bardo. 14.

Hannah / Eryn:

You paying for that 20? Can I do my inspiration now? Yep. Alright. Good.

Hannah / Eryn:

Is it a 1? Yep. That's better. Okay. It's dex.

Hannah / Eryn:

Yeah. 16.

Tim / GM:

16 does pass. Gosh. It probably doesn't. No.

Tara / Journey:

Yeah. That that one was karma.

Tim / GM:

I was

Tim / GM:

like Yeah.

Tim / GM:

I can

Thomas / Guy:

have that back.

Tim / GM:

Alright. That is, 7 piercing damage, 5 force damage, and the entire area is ripped up in destroyed ground.

Tara / Journey:

I have a very quick question. Is this Isle of Lore a forest, would you say? I've heard trees mentioned as far as juniper trees aplenty. And out of curiosity and just wondering

Tim / GM:

just setting the setting the flavor.

Tara / Journey:

Just trying to get a picture.

Tim / GM:

I'll say this. This center stripe of lore that you happen to be in is quite densely wooded. So, yes, we can call it a juniper forest.

Hannah / Eryn:

Yay. Oh my god.

Thomas / Guy:

Is that your preferred wood?

Tara / Journey:

It is.

Tim / GM:

Alright. That was Diver. We're back at the top of the round with Doran.

John / Doran:

K. Can I do, like, a just a general insight on Cree? Like, I don't wanna spend an action, but just try to get it like, just a quick read on what it's doing. Yeah. I got a 13 just to get a general insight.

Tim / GM:

Yeah. So Kree is quite far away, and doesn't seem to be immediately going for people. Doesn't seem like that's their motive right now is to consume creatures. Instead, you actually see it kind of against the ground, and it's kind of slowly bobbing up and down very slowly, kind of gently, almost like it's training, but not quite.

Hannah / Eryn:

It's making love to that sweet, sweet island of lore.

Thomas / Guy:

Okay.

John / Doran:

Doran is going to try to communicate with Cree. K.

Tara / Journey:

Doran's gonna?

Hannah / Eryn:

K. Okay.

John / Doran:

So Doran, he he's got the fairy fire on him, so he's clearly visible.

Tim / GM:

Mhmm.

John / Doran:

So I'm going to step out, into view, and then I'm just gonna, like, cut my hands over and, like, shout to Kree Mhmm. And just say, the enemies threatening the island are here. And I'm going to point at Smilgrin in particular. Yeah. Could I try to do, a persuasion or

Tim / GM:

Yeah. Persuasion is applicable

Thomas / Guy:

Animal persuasion.

Tara / Journey:

I have that spell.

John / Doran:

Because of silvery barbs, I've just You

Tara / Journey:

You have to use it on your next thing.

John / Doran:

Attack roll ability check or saving throw. This counts then. I can reroll.

Hannah / Eryn:

Mhmm. K.

Tim / GM:

In

Tara / Journey:

fact, I think you have to.

John / Doran:

Yep. I have to reroll. So persuasion 9 got a 24.

Tim / GM:

Yeah. Wow.

Hannah / Eryn:

He's not actually a bard. He's a bird. He's a zookeeper.

Tara / Journey:

If it wasn't Dorn, it was gonna be me because I gotta speak with animals.

Tim / GM:

Doren, it does not respond, but you do catch its attention. Okay. You see it raise its head from what it's doing, and it kind of focuses on you, you know, keeping its head turned sideways to to keep, one of its eyes pointed straight at you. You see it kind of turn its head and cock it to one side and then the other, and then you see it turn its body just a little bit towards you, and Cree's in rough shape. Really?

Tim / GM:

You've seen Kree a number of times in your life before, flying, you know, some distance from the mainland, but there's also been times when you've seen Kree probably closer than others have, you know, to the point where you got some of those details, and Kree looked nothing like this in the past. Like it's hurt? It it seems quite hurt, or something's wrong with it. Something's off.

Tara / Journey:

Sick?

John / Doran:

Okay. Yeah. That's unsettling.

Hannah / Eryn:

Shell. Oh, no.

John / Doran:

So Poppy gets

Tara / Journey:

It's like, nothing gets past me. That's pretty good, Mikey. Thanks.

John / Doran:

Thank you, Vicky. 8 health to Poppy. K. Yep. And that's my turn.

Hannah / Eryn:

I'm back up, Poppy.

Tim / GM:

Alright. Next up is Parsonan. Having seen Doran kind of step out and make himself known, Parsonan has their new target.

Hannah / Eryn:

Parsonan still covered in Acid.

Tim / GM:

Yeah. Acid. It's on

Tim / GM:

the 2 d 4.

Hannah / Eryn:

5 again.

Tim / GM:

Alright. Doran, you can see a little bit of, that glittering dust that's all around the island ever since the cloud fall had begun Mhmm. Start to form into small shards, and you can almost feel it, the pain of being struck with hot bismite. It's happened before, and it's about to happen again. A swarm of molten bismite hail comes racing for you.

Tim / GM:

I need you to make a dexterity save.

Hannah / Eryn:

8. Alright.

Thomas / Guy:

Just gonna use healing word on Dora.

Hannah / Eryn:

Does anyone else heal? Because I

Tara / Journey:

don't I don't have healing word though. I have cure ones.

Tim / GM:

The, hot bismite rapidly forms into piercing shards, dealing 19 slashing damage as they hail around you.

John / Doran:

Do you know what level we are, Tim?

Hannah / Eryn:

I was an evil lad.

John / Doran:

19, you said? Yep. K.

Tim / GM:

That's journey.

Tara / Journey:

Tiz. Alright. I am gonna keep on keeping on. Journey pops out from behind diver. I'm gonna add diver.

Tara / Journey:

K. I'm gonna add my Bardock inspiration. Bardo

Hannah / Eryn:

18.

Tim / GM:

You got him. Oh, thank god.

Tara / Journey:

Plus a d 6 for hunter's mark, plus a d 4 for the radiant damage for pulling back the bow, and then, obviously, my little buds are gonna dive in as well. Okay. 20 damage.

Tim / GM:

Wow. Okay. Who's still there? Guy, Eren, and Journey is within range at least? Yep.

Tim / GM:

Eren and Guy, when that arrow hits Diver, you hear this metallic kind of and a heavy thud as a huge chunk of Diver's armor has fallen off. Diver is significantly less protected than he was before after a blow like that.

Hannah / Eryn:

Oh. Nice.

Tim / GM:

Alright. We are on Smile Grin. Good job, Jordy. Poppy, you are kind of standing to your feet in this canyon. Doran is also there and the 2 of you bear witness.

Tim / GM:

SmileGrind stops moving around so erratically. He's not jumping and scrambling anymore. You can hear this kind of low and you look back and you see SmileGren is reaching up towards the top of his forehead and is starting to pull away the mask on his face. And you hear this as he does. And you notice that Smile Grin effectively glues this mask to his face with dried blood.

Hannah / Eryn:

Why?

Tim / GM:

Anyone with knowledge of the fae would recognize a red cap immediately.

Tara / Journey:

Of course.

Tim / GM:

That is High ranking one at that. Oh.

Hannah / Eryn:

It sounds so gross.

Tim / GM:

You see coagulated blood dripping from his chin as he raises his canonical grin to look at each of you.

Hannah / Eryn:

Oh, I don't like that.

Tim / GM:

He begins climbing on the walls, and he's climbing away from this group. Parson says, don't worry. I've got them.

Hannah / Eryn:

What'd you call it again? A red red cap. Red cap.

Tim / GM:

Red cap.

Tim / GM:

Red

Tim / GM:

Alright. Poppy, it's on you. Shit. Smile grid is MAGA.

John / Doran:

Yeah. I was thinking that too.

Tim / GM:

Red cap.

Tara / Journey:

Oh. Your Google results are fucked. Yeah.

Hannah / Eryn:

What happened?

Tim / GM:

You fell down. We gotta go, Poppy.

Hannah / Eryn:

I don't feel very good. Did we kill him?

Tim / GM:

No. He ran away.

Hannah / Eryn:

No. That's probably fine. Yeah. Let's let's keep going.

Tim / GM:

Poppy, we gotta go that way. And he points to Parsonan.

Hannah / Eryn:

Oh, why did we run this way?

Tim / GM:

And then he points past Parsonan, and then you see it, the whale. You see part of the whale. The rest of it is still hidden behind the clouds. The whale has made the rendezvous point and is ready to pick all of you up, if only you could get

Hannah / Eryn:

there. Mikey, how how fast can you run?

Tim / GM:

A hub. It's dot by strong suit.

Hannah / Eryn:

Wait. You still have chocolate. Remember how fast you went?

Tim / GM:

He goes, yeah. Yeah. Wait. He, reaches down into his pocket for some of those chocolate chips you gave him earlier. He shoves them in his mouth and he goes, okay.

Tim / GM:

I think I got the energy.

Tim / GM:

He gestures for you to get on his shell. Oh. Takes a look at parsimon.

Maggie / Poppy:

We're go we're going through him then?

Tim / GM:

And he just starts charging.

Hannah / Eryn:

Oh, I guess we're going through him then. As we're, like, coming up on him, I'm going to whip a chromatic orb up at night. Yeah.

John / Doran:

Okay. Beautiful.

Tim / GM:

And

Hannah / Eryn:

I'm gonna use my last second level spell slot to do so. Yep. You have second level spells.

Maggie / Poppy:

Yeah. I'm a wizard.

Hannah / Eryn:

That's all I have.

Tara / Journey:

It's like that meme of the guy from the movie where he's like, you guys are getting paid?

Thomas / Guy:

And it's like, you guys have spells?

Hannah / Eryn:

Yeah. Yeah. Do I get to pick which damage it is? Yeah. Let's do

John / Doran:

That's the opposite of lightning?

Thomas / Guy:

Doreen's like, you guys do damage? Hey.

Hannah / Eryn:

Hey. What? Can you describe Parsippman again?

Tim / GM:

Giant pixie. Six feet tall. Usually flying.

Hannah / Eryn:

Pixie. I like fire. Yeah. Let's do fire. K.

Hannah / Eryn:

So that's 4 d 8. I'll do my inspiration, and then I'll add my barduk. 18?

Tim / GM:

To hit? Yeah. Yeah.

Hannah / Eryn:

You got him. Okay. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.

Hannah / Eryn:

And then that's 4 d 8 fire damage. What?

John / Doran:

It feels so good being a bard, giving everyone plus 2.

Hannah / Eryn:

Yeah. On the

Tara / Journey:

car right over, you're like, I feel like I'm not doing anything. And I'm like, you've given so many instructions.

Thomas / Guy:

No. You're really I'm sorry.

Tim / GM:

I meant

John / Doran:

the meat thing.

Hannah / Eryn:

I said, that's funny. 23 fire damage.

Tim / GM:

Nice. Alright.

Hannah / Eryn:

Take that, you jerk.

Tim / GM:

Kind of your drive by chromatic orb here Yeah. As you're, running by.

Hannah / Eryn:

Hee hee.

Tim / GM:

Parson is not much of a martial fighter. So when you run by, Parson does little to try to attack you. There's not much risk in that. So you actually do pass right by them.

Hannah / Eryn:

And they get burnt too crisp.

Tim / GM:

Their, their wings are smoldering and burning at the edges. Their top priority now is just keeping the flames down. Just like If only

Hannah / Eryn:

a guy can see me now.

Tim / GM:

Running off in the distance.

Hannah / Eryn:

That's called well done. Looking a little overcooked.

John / Doran:

Should use an egg wash next time.

Tara / Journey:

Terrible.

Tim / GM:

Right after that, Doran.

John / Doran:

I go by 4 HP now. Well,

Tim / GM:

after that, 4 HP. You hear Hubert. Okay.

Tim / GM:

He's saying, everyone who is still on the island, you need to leave.

Hannah / Eryn:

Yeah, don't.

Tim / GM:

You need to get off of Lord. The whale has docked at the south end. I may not make it there to go with you, but you must leave. Everyone on the island and to those who are no longer on Lor, know that the island is no more. Do not return here.

Tim / GM:

And Doran, you're not hearing this through some special ability. You're hearing it through Huber's echo bell. K. He's not with his people anymore. He ran to the bell tower.

Tim / GM:

He's broadcasting the demise of lore.

Hannah / Eryn:

Aw. Self sacrificial. Going down with that shit, pooper.

Tim / GM:

Guy, Gus can move at your request, but for the most part, is now just attached to you.

Thomas / Guy:

Yeah.

Tim / GM:

So his turn is I'm just saying his turn is kind of passing over without event, really. Okay. He's following your lead. Yeah. And that brings us to Kree, who begins moving slowly towards Doran, kind of doing, like I like that.

Tim / GM:

Little half flaps and then kind of, like, speeding up, jerking its head back and forth as it moves closer to you.

Hannah / Eryn:

Sounds like you got a bird girlfriend now.

Tim / GM:

Aaron, it's back to you.

Hannah / Eryn:

Oh, wow. We passed a couple turns really quick there. Fuck him up. Yeah. Aaron's just gonna fucking stab Diver.

Hannah / Eryn:

Still an aarakocra on Diver's back. Still have my short sword out, and I'm just gonna draw it back and try to stab it into his chest.

Tim / GM:

Cool.

Hannah / Eryn:

Playing him like a cello. Exactly. That's how you play cellos. Right? You stab them.

Hannah / Eryn:

Dude, tiny. Typically. 14 to hit.

Tim / GM:

That hits him. His armor is no longer protecting any vital spots.

Hannah / Eryn:

Oh my god. Okay.

Tara / Journey:

So 1, 2 punch.

Hannah / Eryn:

Boom. 1, 2 punch. So 2 d 6 plus 4. Tall damage. Alright.

Hannah / Eryn:

A slash. Why don't you just fucking die already? No one wants you around.

Tim / GM:

As you pull the short sword out of him, you hear him kind of gasp out. He looks back at you and then quickly up at Guy and kind of is darting between the 2 of you. And he goes, Swogren.

Hannah / Eryn:

Eren's gonna try to cover his

Tim / GM:

mouth. Okay. It's Guy.

Thomas / Guy:

Aaron, I can see the whale has arrived. We must depart.

Hannah / Eryn:

No. We need to finish this. And Aaron's, like, on his back as he's thrashing around, kind of imagining, like, no.

Tim / GM:

Yeah.

Hannah / Eryn:

I'm also an airconcrant. I'm,

Tim / GM:

Yeah. Diver is, like like, trying to, like, bite you wherever he can. He's, like, going for your eyes.

Hannah / Eryn:

Scary mouthful feathers. Yeah. Yeah.

Thomas / Guy:

Alright. Let's make it quick. Attacky. K.

Tim / GM:

21. That hits him.

Tara / Journey:

101? Nice.

Thomas / Guy:

This seems like it calls for a

Hannah / Eryn:

smite. Oh.

Tim / GM:

Yes. Do it.

Hannah / Eryn:

Smite the bastard.

Thomas / Guy:

11. Classic physical damage.

Hannah / Eryn:

Classical.

Thomas / Guy:

Plus 13.

Tim / GM:

Plus 13? Yep. Shit.

Thomas / Guy:

So 24? Oh. 24 Ham.

Hannah / Eryn:

Oh, boy. Smited.

Thomas / Guy:

Diver is smitten.

Tim / GM:

What was the attack there? What was the motion?

Thomas / Guy:

As Aaron's, holding on to his back. I mean, I think without his armor on, guys just gonna try to run him through with a sword.

Tim / GM:

Cool. You do. Great. You shove your sword through diver's guts and you see it come out at the backside. Aaron, you have to dodge out of the way.

Tim / GM:

And, guy, you pull it back and it's covered in blood. You hear diver just go next up.

Hannah / Eryn:

Did he fall?

Tim / GM:

He didn't fall.

Hannah / Eryn:

Of course not. Wait. Next up is diver? Diver.

Tim / GM:

Shit.

Tim / GM:

Diver kind of turns on his heels. He only cares about Aaron.

Tim / GM:

Don't we all?

Thomas / Guy:

Diver and the listeners.

Tim / GM:

Aaron. He turns around and he looks you straight in the eyes, and for the first time ever, you see some kind of feeling in Diver, and it's disappointment. You hear him say,

Tim / GM:

This isn't how it was supposed to go.

Tim / GM:

He puts his hands on your shoulders and he goes Guy, you see Aaron light up white. Aaron, you feel like your skin is breaking apart. I need to make a contested Charisma check. Charisma. Oh my god.

Tim / GM:

So nervous.

Hannah / Eryn:

22.

Tim / GM:

Guy and Journey, you witness this. You're there. You see Erin's skin light up and you see this pink energy float off of her towards Diver. And you see Diver kind of like reaching towards her, like grabbing for her, like pulling her soul out as if he hasn't taken enough already. And Aaron takes a step back and it all just comes reeling back into her, taken away from Diver.

Tim / GM:

He was reaching for her life force, for her energy, for the things that make her fae, and he can't take them. He can't take anymore. We're back to the top of the round with Doran. Okay.

John / Doran:

So so Doran looks at Parseman and, Parseman hears, just like a chorus of

Tim / GM:

You're burning. You're burning. You're burning. You're burning. You're burning.

John / Doran:

I'm gonna use unsettling words, which, is a use of bardic inspiration. This will, basically count against this creature's next, saving throw.

Hannah / Eryn:

Nice. Cool. What?

John / Doran:

A 6. Okay. And then for my action, I'm going to use suggestion. So I'm going to say to Parseman, the island is falling and you're on fire. You should probably just leave now.

John / Doran:

So, Parseman will have to make a wisdom saving throw against me and minus 6 to whatever modifiers they have. Good lord.

Hannah / Eryn:

Do you have disadvantage

Tim / GM:

Full reason to believe so with your minus 6, full result is a 2. Okay.

Hannah / Eryn:

Full Yes.

John / Doran:

So, this creature will, on its turns, it's going to follow that course of action which is to grab a ship and leave.

Tara / Journey:

Or just leave your job.

John / Doran:

Or yeah. Leave, basically.

Tara / Journey:

You got wings.

John / Doran:

Okay. With my movement, I've seen that Poppy's okay. I know the whale is there, but I'm going after Diver. Okay. So I'm just gonna use my 30 feet to move closer to where Diver

Tim / GM:

is. Alright

Tim / GM:

it's par simmons turn they look at you they go yeah And you hear this as they, flap out their damaged pixie wings again and begin heading, back towards the moss. You don't see them again.

John / Doran:

Sweet. Journey.

Tim / GM:

Mhmm.

Tim / GM:

It's your turn.

Tara / Journey:

Mhmm. I see that Guy and Aaron seem to have Diver under control, and I head off to look for Poppy.

Tim / GM:

K.

Tara / Journey:

So I start running away toward where Poppy was.

Tim / GM:

Yeah. On the way, you encounter Smile Grin.

Tara / Journey:

Dope. You

Tim / GM:

see a small goblin like creature that is climbing sideways on the walls at a breakneck pace, raking forward with claws and kind of digging his heavy boots into the rocks as he climbs. You can also see his face is dripping with blood.

Tara / Journey:

Okay. Yeah. I'm gonna take aim. Use a bonus action to light it up and shoot with an arrow. I don't get Hunter's mark for this.

Tara / Journey:

13?

Tim / GM:

Oh, 13 does not hit Smallegreen. Too small.

Hannah / Eryn:

And it's

Tara / Journey:

too late to use inspiration. Right? Or can I roll out

Tim / GM:

for it? I think you can use inspiration at this point.

Tara / Journey:

Okay. I'm gonna use my inspiration.

Hannah / Eryn:

Glad we drank that wine earlier.

Tara / Journey:

Oh, yeah. That's way better. 23.

Tim / GM:

Mail them.

Tara / Journey:

Alright. So, yeah, I don't get the extra d 6, but I do get a d 8, d 6, d 4. 7 damage.

Tim / GM:

Not the first time Smile Grin's been hurt, but I think the first time he's been hurt by not himself. I'm not sure. How much did you say?

Tara / Journey:

7.

Tim / GM:

And Smile Grin retaliates. He raises both of his hands at once, and instead of coming down with his claws, you see the bismite rapidly melt. And when he's got his hands up in the air, he's holding a scythe now and he brings the scythe down on you.

Tara / Journey:

Yikes.

Hannah / Eryn:

Is this the same guy?

Thomas / Guy:

Smiles Ren canonically sucks.

Hannah / Eryn:

Oh my god. He's so

Tim / GM:

stupid and bad. He is so He's so scary, but so terrible.

Hannah / Eryn:

This is the third one or Something like that. Yeah. 2 or 3 that he's rolled.

Tim / GM:

Okay. Smilegrin rears back with this scythe, and he comes down at you hard and it just right into a juniper bush. And Smile Grin is just hanging from his scythe kind of dangling in the wind staring at you going

Tara / Journey:

He's so scary and so ineffective.

Hannah / Eryn:

Oh, man. It's like the worst horror movie, but none of the, like, kills him. Yeah. Like, they just miss when the final, like, swing is coming.

Tim / GM:

It's like,

Tim / GM:

oh my god.

Hannah / Eryn:

Just kill me. And then that's almost like, like, what?

Thomas / Guy:

Yeah. Jason's, like, walking on the pier and he slips

Hannah / Eryn:

and pulls him in. I'm like, The suspense is killing me. Yeah.

Tim / GM:

Man. Okay.

Tim / GM:

Yeah. He's got nothing. He is, like, he's jerking at the scythe trying to, like, unlodge it from where it's stuck in the juniper. Poppy, it's on you.

Hannah / Eryn:

Oh, where are we now?

Tim / GM:

You are cresting can be smile on their face coming up the hill behind you.

Hannah / Eryn:

You might wanna pick it up, Mikey. We have company.

Tim / GM:

K. Yeah. You you actually reached the ship before Parsonman does.

Maggie / Poppy:

Right.

Tim / GM:

And you can also see the whale that is now approached the island.

Hannah / Eryn:

And it's docked?

Tim / GM:

Yeah. It is docked. So the way that this works, it is a real whale.

Tim / GM:

Yes.

Tim / GM:

It's a great beast. Good. It is docked. So, the vessel of this whale, the thing that you actually ride on, hangs below it like a like a hot air balloon kind

Tara / Journey:

of thing.

Hannah / Eryn:

It's not I I assumed it was gonna be, like, you ride in it.

Tim / GM:

In its mouth kind of thing? No.

Tara / Journey:

No. Like, Pinocchio?

Tim / GM:

Yeah. This is not a Jonas situation.

Tim / GM:

Remember

Thomas / Guy:

that episode where we, like, found the sky whale

Hannah / Eryn:

bones? Yeah. That's right. And the sky whale bones were in a giant thing of bismite.

Thomas / Guy:

Yeah. It was that same area.

Tim / GM:

Yeah. Yeah.

Hannah / Eryn:

I have chills right now. In the good way, not the horror way. Mind blown. Okay. Where is the rolling pin?

Tim / GM:

It is very close to this area. Remember where Mikey was, like, loading up his stuff? It's pretty much here. Yep.

Hannah / Eryn:

Go for that.

Tim / GM:

Yeah. Okay. Yeah. You you just get it started. It, lifts off.

Tim / GM:

No problem. Yep. Ready to go.

Hannah / Eryn:

Yeah. I guess that's my turn.

Tim / GM:

Cool.

Hannah / Eryn:

Get it loaded onto the whale.

Tim / GM:

Yeah. You watch as Parsonman, just kind of touches down on the moss, gets gets into their ship. You see them just kind of like look up over the hills towards Smillegrin and shrugs like, they walk up to a large bismite crystal at the front of the ship, and they put their hands to it, and the crystal melts into a silvery ring, a hula hoop, that they kind of hold around them, around their body, and the ship begins to lift off.

Hannah / Eryn:

Oh, I would like to observe that from a, a safe vantage point.

Tara / Journey:

Hidden behind your counter. And then only then

Hannah / Eryn:

Like like, seeing if they're making any specific movements

Tim / GM:

Yeah.

Hannah / Eryn:

Or or gestures or saying anything.

Tim / GM:

Give me, an investigation check. Or sorry. Investigation or arcana.

Hannah / Eryn:

That one's better.

Tara / Journey:

So arcana.

Hannah / Eryn:

19. Oh.

Tim / GM:

Hell, yeah. Okay.

Hannah / Eryn:

I'm always learning.

Tim / GM:

The one thing you pick up from watching them do this is there's no consumption of bismide. You don't see it being burned or used or destroyed. It seems to make the ships fly without consumption. In addition, when Parsaman moves this ring around them to kind of like change the angle of the ship or the direction of the speed, you see these other rings beneath the ship that kind of mirror that same angle. Seems this is how the levitation works.

Tim / GM:

There's some kind of, sympathetic mirroring between these hoops.

Hannah / Eryn:

That's very interesting, Mikey. Do you see that?

Tim / GM:

Yeah. It's a big flag ship.

Hannah / Eryn:

That's right, Mikey. Good job. Cool. Oh, also, sorry. Before I end my turn, can I just, like, but echo bell to journey that I'm I'm on the rolling pin, and I'm about to board the whale?

Hannah / Eryn:

Yeah.

Tara / Journey:

Good to know. I have something to take care of.

Hannah / Eryn:

Okay. Well, I'm here. Just, I'm safe, So good luck. Thanks. You too.

Tim / GM:

Alright. You all hear another shuddering of the island as it begins to crack. Wherever you are, you can start to see fissures and rifts begin to pull the island to pieces. In fact, Doran, where you're standing, you see a rift start to open right in front of you. You gotta make a choice as to whether you wanna be, like, closer to the ships or closer to not the ships and jump onto that side of the island.

John / Doran:

Like, right now? Yeah. I'm going to jump towards Diver. Yeah.

Hannah / Eryn:

God. You guys are so dumb.

Thomas / Guy:

I I just need to say it seems obvious,

Hannah / Eryn:

but Yeah. For sure.

Tim / GM:

As the island shudders and shakes, you can also hear Hubert a little bit. He's just in conversation now. He's no longer broadcasting, but you can hear him say

Tim / GM:

Tully, I assume Kray was not responsive.

Tim / GM:

I'm afraid not. I'm sorry.

Tim / GM:

It's okay my friend. Let's enjoy our island together.

Tim / GM:

Next up is Cree. Cree is continuing to do that kind of bobbing motion, but now it seems more coordinated, more intense, more rhythmic. It's obvious to you at this point that Cree is also drinking. With every bob, the island takes massive damage. Cree is sucking up everything in this island and, what's more, Doran, the first few times you had seen Cree, you don't remember it having giant blue eyes.

Hannah / Eryn:

No. Fuck.

Tim / GM:

Erin, it's your turn.

Hannah / Eryn:

If they were the type of person that could rage, they would be raging, but they are just bloodthirsty. Yeah. Aaron is gonna just keep on stabbing diver. Aaron is, like, literally seeing red. Just blood covering their face, their feathers.

Hannah / Eryn:

They were a black bird, but you can just see their face looks wet with divers blood and just the chaos of the moment. So Yeah. I'm gonna try to stab him again with the short sword.

Tim / GM:

I would say for the seeing red of it all, Aaron, you've got advantage on this attack.

Hannah / Eryn:

22. No. Wait.

Tim / GM:

Is that right?

Tim / GM:

Yeah. 22. Yeah. 22. Yeah.

Tim / GM:

You got him. Okay. Great.

Hannah / Eryn:

Ten damage. And I'm I'm not on him anymore, but I am trying to, like, stab him. I think Aaron would take a running jump and jump back on his back and try to stab him again, like, around the shoulder.

Tim / GM:

After Diver tried to drain the energy from you, he broke away from you suddenly shocked that it didn't work, and you are filled with rage, and you charge at him again. He puts his hands up in defense to try to protect himself from you. My, how the tables have turned. You plunge your sword into Diver, and all he can do is hold his hands up to stop you. You pull it out of his chest and looking up at you, reaching for you, he says,

Tim / GM:

You ungrateful pride.

Hannah / Eryn:

And he

Tim / GM:

falls to his knees. Next up is Guy. Is the diver dead? He's collapsed.

Thomas / Guy:

Is he unconscious?

Tim / GM:

Yeah. I mean, he's 0 hit points.

John / Doran:

0 okay. Great.

Thomas / Guy:

Guy watches Aaron do this and relaxes a little bit, then he walks over to his head and puts it on his shoulders.

Tim / GM:

Yeah.

Hannah / Eryn:

Unclenches his butt cheeks.

Thomas / Guy:

Aaron, we will wait for you as long as we can. I will not deny you your revenge, but you must make it off this island with us.

Hannah / Eryn:

Eren can't hear you and is just stabbing Diver over and over again. Oh my god.

Thomas / Guy:

Guy nods his head and then, books it toward the well. For what it's worth, I'll use my action to dash, I guess. K.

Hannah / Eryn:

Also, Also, Aaron is literally gonna use their beak. I don't know if we're out of initiative yet, but they're gonna use their aarakocra beak. They're gonna tear out diver's eyes and just tear apart his face also. Yep. Yep.

Hannah / Eryn:

With their beak. So just so you guys know. Like, you do.

Tim / GM:

Guy. As you run towards Journey, you also encounter Smillegrin in the canyon here or against the cliff wall. He's still kind of dangling there looking silly with his scythe.

Thomas / Guy:

Guy says to Journey, who's this joker?

Tara / Journey:

I'm not quite sure. I think he came with the other 2, and he's having a hard time. I hit I kinda hit him once. I don't know. Do you wanna help?

Tim / GM:

Guy, you've encountered this one before. The reek of blood is so strong on him, you'd never forget it. You see horrific memories, visions of cruelty. Smile, Gren, maimed and executed your countrymen largely for parsimon's entertainment. Guy, from now on, whenever you smell blood in battle, you'll crit on a 19 or higher.

Tim / GM:

Oh,

Hannah / Eryn:

damn. Nice. Bloodthirsty.

Thomas / Guy:

Wait. There's something about this one.

Tim / GM:

Smallegreen sees you and his eyes get huge. He just starts to smile bigger and bigger.

Thomas / Guy:

Well, I did use my actions, So

Tim / GM:

Okay. That brings us up to Diver, who is dead.

Hannah / Eryn:

Does he have to make dust save? I don't know how that works.

Tim / GM:

So he does.

Tim / GM:

Cool.

Tim / GM:

Yeah. There's there's absolutely no way. Diver rolls a natural one on his death. Woah. Which brings him 2 marks closer to death.

Tim / GM:

No. We also know that Eren is not gonna leave him until she knows there's no chance at life. I'm gonna say there is no way Diver comes back. Aaron, there is no more movement, no more noise, no more air, no more wheezing, no more begging coming out of Diver. No more words, no more demands, no more taking, nothing.

Tara / Journey:

It's done.

Hannah / Eryn:

Aaron's just like breathing heavily over Diver's dead body.

Tim / GM:

It's done.

Tim / GM:

Looking around, Aaron, you see no one else. You wonder if the whale is even still here, you're not sure how long you've been just attacking Diver, You wonder how long you've been focused on just this, and no other part of life. And for the first time, you can see other things. And I think that's where we'll end it. Thanks so much for listening.

Tim / GM:

I'm Tim, your GM.

Hannah / Eryn:

I'm Hannah playing Aaron. I'm Tara. I play Journey.

Thomas / Guy:

I'm Thomas. I am Guy.

John / Doran:

I'm John. I play Doran.

Hannah / Eryn:

I'm Maggie, and I play Poppy.
