About Meg & The Daily Pep!
Iโ€™m Meg and Iโ€™m the host of The Daily Pep! and The Couragemakers Podcast and founder of The Rebel Rousers. Iโ€™m a coach, writer and all-round rebel-rouser for creative and multi-passionate women to do the things only they can do and build a wholehearted life. When I'm not recording episodes, writing bullshit-free Letters of Rebellion to my wonderful Couragemakers community or hosting workshops/group programmes, I'm usually covered in paint or walking my wonderfully weird cockapoo Merlin.

Good morning Daily Peppers and a very happy Friday to you. So behind the scenes we're in the process of going back to long term traveling and leaving our lovely flat in Leeds. Now, we have moved at this point many, many times and we probably consider ourselves pros at it. And what we've learned is that it is actually pretty impossible to have a completely stress free and tidy move. There have been times where we prepared for moving months in advance, there's times that we've done it weeks in advance and everywhere in between. And we've just come to the conclusion that moving is messy. There are so many moving parts, pun intended. There is as much as you try for there not to be, always going to be a box of crap which is just full of things that you've got no idea what to do with.

And it doesn't really matter how much you prepare, there are always going to be surprises along the way. And I'm sharing this today for two reasons. Firstly, because I feel like so many of us have been around here for a little while and we've been on this journey together and I wanted to share a personal update as I kind of consider you all my virtual travel buddies. And second, as a reminder, a permission slip or something you just really fucking need to hear right now that life is sometimes messy. And that's okay. You're not doing it wrong, it's just messy. Believe me, I have tried so many different ways to do this whole moving process more efficiently. And often it doesn't matter how long you give yourself, there's always a bit of a last minute scramble because you naturally forget some things.

And that is because we are fabulously imperfect humans with a lot going on in our brains at the same time. So as you head into this weekend, see what happens. If you can remember that some things are just messy and, and that's okay. And also there is such a thing as over optimizing and being too efficient to the fact that we get so obsessed with doing things quicker that we lose all the joy along the way. Have a good one, stay hydrated, keep as cool as you can. And I hope some unexpected delight finds you this weekend. I can't wait to be back with you as always on Sunday in your inbox or on Monday in your earbuds. I'll see you then, take care.
