So we're kind of excited about this, this will really be used for Amitriel and Nephilim and Bigfoot and other things. So I'm gonna press in here and there we go. That's a pretty good shot right there.

Speaker 3:

Thanks for having me. Good to be here.

Speaker 1:

So what I'm going to do first, I'm going to share a desktop here and you can see right here this is so let me let me tuck this back. Right here this was the this was captured this is the film right here so I'm going to try to make that if I can full screen. Okay, so that's the film, we both watched it. You know, was $15. I just rented it.

Speaker 1:

I wasn't going to buy it and you know, interesting and we'll get into that, but that's what we're going to be talking about and that's the film and we're going to focus on this picture right here but I'm going to stop the share and let's talk about the film. Your thoughts.

Speaker 3:

Well, it has been a hectic twenty four plus hours in the Bigfoot research community. Obviously, with this release of the capturing Bigfoot documentary, I did watch it and straight

Speaker 1:

out of

Speaker 3:

the gate, wanna I wanna quote something that that author Greg Long said on the show, and he's the author of the book, The Making of Bigfoot, which which really started early out of the gate to try to prove that the Patterson Gimlin film was a hoax. And he said, and I quote, the Bigfoot community really galvanizes and sustains itself on the basis of this film. I could not disagree with that statement more.

Speaker 1:

When when I when I said that's true, that's what he leads off with. But that's... I mean, that's not what someone like Scott Carpenter or yourself. I mean, Gimlin Patterson, mean, that's like decades old. I was just a kid when that thing came out.

Speaker 1:

So, I mean, you guys have done so much more research. So pick it up from there, please.

Speaker 3:

Yeah. So, you know, back in the seventies and eighties, maybe that might have been true in some aspects Mhmm. But certainly not true today because that is not the cornerstone of our research. A nineteen sixty seven, fifty nine second film is not the basis of our research. The Patterson Gimlin film might have inspired a lot of us to get into cryptozoology.

Speaker 3:

It certainly inspired me, but it's it's not something that we bet the farm on.

Speaker 1:

And and I I concur with that. I mean, I thought, you know, let me ask you something. What about what was his son's name? Was it Clint? Yeah.

Speaker 1:

Yeah. So, I mean, he seems generally sincere in what he's saying. And, you know, the whole film leads up to the hidden tape that somehow they magically find. So here's my question to you. I thought I heard that the tape was made a year after they released the Gimlin or the Patterson Gimlin film.

Speaker 1:

They released that one minute, I just rounded up to one minute film, you know, showing the squatch and the whole deal. So is that true? I mean, did you go back and look at that? Is that prepped a year before or a year after?

Speaker 3:

So that's one of the things that everybody in the Bigfoot research community is fighting about. Anything that can be fought about is being fought about by the research community right now. You know, everything from the timelines to the to the players involved, you know, to the costume that that's being presented. So allegedly in... And I had to write...

Speaker 3:

I had to take notes. So...

Speaker 1:

Yeah. Right.

Speaker 3:

The newly discovered footage was allegedly filmed in 1966, you know, prior to

Speaker 1:

So it's a year before.

Speaker 3:

Yeah. That's what the allegation is. You know, they're... In this documentary, there's so much drama, family drama, rabbit holes, speculation. And it's clear that the filmmakers have an agenda here, and that that's pretty clear right out of the gate.

Speaker 3:

And... But, yeah, allegedly, the newly discovered film was from 1966, where in 1967, marked it down here like May of June of nineteen sixty seven is when. Patterson reportedly began began filming his documentary, you know, which he ran out of money for. And then later on in 1967, of course, 10/20/1967 is when the Bluff Creek encounter occurred allegedly.

Speaker 1:

So what are you... Let's let's pedal back here. Let's let's go back. What are your thoughts when you actually look at the Gimlin Patterson film or the Patterson Gimlin film? When you look at that and I have it, someone sent me and I forget who did, thank you.

Speaker 1:

I don't remember who did it, but someone sent me a frame by frame that was digitized, which is really cool. And I run that, you know, at prophecy conferences and said, well, is this the Therion? Is that what we're looking at? What are your thoughts on the original film from Bluff Creek?

Speaker 3:

Well, you know, after watching the documentary, I've only watched it once, I am going to watch it again. I am. I'm watching it once, and speaking to other researchers, and getting their counsel on it, finding out what they think, you know, people that I trust in the field. You know, I I've gotta tell you, at least right now, you know, I am not convinced that the Patterson Gimlin film is a hoax yet. You know, I'm not convinced of that yet.

Speaker 3:

And, you know, people can give their reasons all day long. If for those that believe that it's a hoax, know, that's fine too. You know, you got to make up your own mind. I found that the there's issues with the costume, what they call it, I call it a costume. You know, costume doesn't We can get it Yeah.

Speaker 3:

The costume doesn't match. You know, it's approved. It doesn't fit right. You know, there's questions about the the head being wrong, and and a lot of people are pointing out these these issues with the costume. But also, you know, where where my brain goes is also what's behind this?

Speaker 3:

You know, what's behind the making of this film? And maybe, you know, that information is out there somewhere. I wish I had time to spend hours and hours and hours, you know, on the Internet, you know, watching different podcasts. And so maybe it's already out there. But But I found myself really questioning the motives behind this.

Speaker 3:

It started to look like a money making scheme to me. And there's some people involved that have some shady reputations. And it's very, at least to me, my perception is very clear that there's an agenda behind this. And now a lot of stuff that they show at the beginning about Roger Patterson were things that I didn't you know, about about his documentary and different things I didn't know about it because the Patterson Gimlin film, like I mentioned, was never a cornerstone of my cryptozoology. It was an inspiration to me to get to get into it, but wasn't something that I based everything on.

Speaker 3:

So the documentary, I've got some questions. I've got some questions. I want to know about the players involved. What were their motivations? Who signed NDAs when doing this?

Speaker 3:

You know, who, where's the money going? You know, what was the genesis of this? How did they magically come up with, with this footage after so long? So, you know, people being in the know that it wasn't true, you know, and or claiming it wasn't true. So, yeah, I was left with a lot of questions, more questions than answers.

Speaker 3:

And there were people that watched this documentary that just immediately watched it were like, oh, it's a hoax. Even some researchers, you know, some researchers that I know, saw it immediately thought, well, that's it. That's the Patterson Gimlin Waterloo. It's all over and it's a hoax. I'm like, not so fast.

Speaker 3:

I have questions about the people involved and also the circumstances. And I'm gonna jump right to the end here of the documentary. Now there was something that occurred in the documentary at the end that really, really bothered me a lot. And to me, it really, to me, revealed a lot of what the integrity is of the people behind this. And that is where they confronted Bob Gimlin, Bob Gimlin in public, totally ambushed the guy, an elderly gentleman in his 90s.

Speaker 3:

And here comes Patterson and Bob Hieronymus in the line there. This was clear. It was set up by the filmmakers. Really sneaky, really shady tactic. And there they are confronting an elderly gentleman in his 90s with allegedly having dementia symptoms, confronting him like that, you know, and catching him off guard.

Speaker 3:

And, you know, I thought, you know, regardless of what side of the fence you're on with this debate, you know, that's something you just don't do. You know? At the end, you know, they do put on the screen that, you know, Bob Gimlin still claims that that

Speaker 1:

That is true.

Speaker 3:

Lough Creek is true. You know? But when I saw them ambush him

Speaker 1:

So, I mean, the whole thing with Hieronymus, that walk, that was in a documentary film, I mean, a couple of decades ago where he comes forward and said, you know, he did this. So, I mean, there's two factions here. And obviously, Hieronymus ambushes Gimlin. And, you know, you're... Like you said, Gimlin's in his nineties.

Speaker 1:

They probably did it because Gimlin refused to come on the record. More than likely, that's why they did it. So it's kinda sneaky, you know, but I get from a standpoint of the filmmaker why he did it. But still it's kind of dirty tactics there. Mean it is.

Speaker 1:

So let's go into something I'm going to share my screen again. What am I looking at? Where is it? Right here. Okay, and we're gonna go desktop.

Speaker 1:

Boom. So what is this? What the heck is this right there?

Speaker 3:

So so this was sent to me by my podcast fellow host, Matt Slater, this morning, and and he was pointing out one of the costume items of debate, one of the discrepancies. And and as you can see, there seems to be some shape difference in the lower back area of the Patty film versus the newly surfaced film. And and another issue of debate is the shape of the head, which you you know, the one on the left, you know, looks Chronic.

Speaker 1:

Go ahead. Go ahead. Yeah.

Speaker 3:

Yeah. The one on the right doesn't look as much. And and this is just one small aspect of that's being debated online.

Speaker 1:

So let me ask you this. I mean, when when they they had the anthropologist on, I think it was an anthropologist at some university. I forget his credentials, but, you know, he's a believer in the film. And, you know, he looks at the original Bluff Creek film, and you could see all the muscles, I mean, moving under. How how is it possible to put on a suit or a costume and have muscles moving like like they are?

Speaker 1:

I mean, it's... I'm I'm having trouble with that for sure.

Speaker 3:

Yeah. With a 1960s costume prop, I mean, to be able to mimic that... You know, if this film is a hoax, then it's one of the greatest hoaxes ever perpetrated. Everything would have to be right down to the minutest detail. And to manage to fool so many people for so long,

Speaker 4:

for so

Speaker 3:

so many experts on locomotion and primates and Yeah. You know, to fool so many people and even computers, you know, that would truly be a remarkable accomplishment.

Speaker 1:

Well, here's something else that bothers me. How do we know that that film, which shows this entity on the right, was actually shot in '66. What proof are there? What proof are they offering? I mean, is that film time stamped?

Speaker 1:

I mean, someone, you know, when I look at it is that this thing was shot afterwards. In other words, they had they had the Bluff Creek thing, and then Patterson needs a follow-up. So it's not a dress rehearsal. It's... Well, let's...

Speaker 1:

We'll create something and and then, you know, this will be the follow-up, which they never used. But I mean, all that speculation. I mean, how do we know that the film is really dated to '66 and not '67 or '68?

Speaker 3:

Yeah, we don't. You know, they do have a film expert on their show who's examining the film, and he does get a stock date, a film stock manufacturing date, but I apologize. That doesn't mean anything. Yeah, I'm looking at my note. A film stock manufacturing date alone doesn't establish when the camera exposed it.

Speaker 3:

I agree. So one of the things people are fighting about online is, is the new footage a rehearsal for the Bluff Creek? Or is it footage from his documentary movie that he was making? You know, that he ran out of money for. So that's a big item of debate right now.

Speaker 3:

And I'm telling you from what I have seen so far, and I'm gonna continue digging, I am not convinced that the Patterson Gimlin film is a hoax. Just not...

Speaker 1:

I'm right there with you. I mean, you make a very strong case, know, we line up all these witnesses and you know, Patterson's wife and his son. I mean, that's pretty intense. Mean, the daughter gets involved and all this stuff, but I'm still not I'm just scratching my head going like, why after all these years, they come out with this thing now and they're all in lockstep. They all agree to do it and expose the folks.

Speaker 1:

So yeah, it was very looking at here.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, it was very set up, very scripted, you know, and and you know, it was engineered to make you buy their story. There's so much family drama involved and yeah, but you know, people really need to look... Start looking... The serious researchers really need to start looking behind the curtain of all this and seeing the players and the motivations and who signed the NDAs and who's making the money and why now. Mean, there's a lot more a lot of questions involved here rather than just, you know, I don't think anybody who's serious in cryptozoology should just watch this documentary and say, oh, that's it.

Speaker 3:

It's a hoax.

Speaker 1:

I'm done. Know, I'm I'm look, I'm right there with you. Look. Yeah, have a clip from Scott. You know Scott Carpenter and I probably interviewed him on a two or three months before he passed away and they were knocking on the side of his house.

Speaker 1:

He called me up like two weeks, three weeks, a month before. I mean, don't remember the exact, but it was very close to the time where I believe they took him out. And he said, L. A. They're they used to stop at my property's boundaries.

Speaker 1:

They couldn't cross it. Now they're crossing it and they're banging on the side of the house. I mean, you do with that? And he calls me up. We didn't record this, I don't think.

Speaker 1:

Maybe after the fact, in fact, I don't think we recorded it at all. But he called me up for prayer. That's what he called me up for. Can we pray? I said absolutely and we prayed and then that was the last time I ever spoke to him and then I think they took him out with the infrasound.

Speaker 1:

I think they they took him out that way and and you know caused his head to just explode because that's what they can do. So yeah, you know Scott Scott shows a perfect circle. Remember the camera's behind him as he's walking. So about 30, 40 feet behind him, all of a sudden this perfect circle materializes and in it is a squatch on one knee with a conical head. You know, I mean, I'm not making that up.

Speaker 1:

And I mean, that to me is like... That to me is better than the Gilman Patterson film. I mean, it is. Because I know Todd and there it is. The thing is manifesting and it's interdimensional.

Speaker 1:

You know how how does that?

Speaker 3:

Absolutely, you know, there were some people unfortunately that bet the farm on the Patterson Gimlin film, you know, they they bet everything on it, you know, and now they believe that it's a hoax and those are unfortunate situations. But, you know, now we're in twenty twenty six and when you're talking to somebody who has had an encounter, we'll take my research partner, William Lunsford, for example. William Lunsford had his life altered, completely altered after his encounter. Do you think somebody like that cares whether a fifty nine second piece of film footage from the the sixties is is considered to be a hoax now? I mean, these people that have had encounters have had their lives altered.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, I agree. Traumatized in many cases. Yeah. But definitely one thing that this documentary does not do is it doesn't... And if if it does impacts...

Speaker 3:

Impact people's belief on whether or not this creature exists, you know, that's unfortunate because that has been settled. There are just too many witnesses too many witnesses. Way too many encounters all going all the way back to Native American history. I mean, that... Whether this creature exists, that's not even on on things.

Speaker 1:

Ron Warhead's work, Sierra Sounds. I mean, that alone, that's a language. I mean, he took it to a university. I forget which one. Might have been University of Arizona.

Speaker 1:

Doesn't matter, but they analyze it, there's a language there.

Speaker 3:

This And creature does exist.

Speaker 1:

It definitely does exist, mean there's no doubt in my mind. So let's go back to Hieronymus who surfaced, I don't know decades ago as the guy in the suit. So they still haven't explained why the original is a female. They haven't explained that. I mean, I mean, I mean, would Patterson create that type of a costume, that type of a suit with breasts?

Speaker 1:

I mean, Hieronymus talks about that, but I'm not buying that either. I... It's just there's just too much

Speaker 3:

Yeah. There's on. Yeah. There's there's some shady shady stuff I agree. Going on in my in my opinion, you know?

Speaker 3:

And, you know, and I also think about Bob Gimlin, you know? This is a guy who him and his family have paid a hefty price for fifty nine seconds of film footage. He and his family have gone through a lifetime of harassment and torment and mocking. His wife almost divorced him because it was so bad. You know, people, harassing her at work, you know, people pulling up on the property in the middle of the night, squealing the tires and and screaming obscenities about Bigfoot and all this stuff out outside.

Speaker 3:

And, you know, he has always stuck to his guns. You know, who would endure that torment? He could have easily just come forward and said, you know what? It was a setup. You know, all that torment would

Speaker 1:

have went away. He didn't make anything from the film.

Speaker 3:

Yeah. And he he just always stuck to his guns.

Speaker 1:

Yeah. You know, except for a thousand dollars. Here's a thousand dollars. You know? And Clint makes a big deal of giving him a thousand dollars at the end of the film.

Speaker 3:

Yeah. And, of course, the pro... Yeah. I'm sorry.

Speaker 1:

Go ahead. No. Was it heron? Did Clint give it to Hieronymus? Yeah.

Speaker 1:

He gave it to the thousand dollars to Hieronymus. Right?

Speaker 3:

I don't remember exactly.

Speaker 1:

Yeah. I think it was through Hieronymus. That's that's what he was promising. He never got paid, but I don't think Gimlin made any money from it. All the money went to the brother-in-law.

Speaker 1:

And he built, of course, Matchett. It's just unbelievable.

Speaker 3:

Yeah. When you talk about Bob Gimlin, people talk about him. Of course, you know, say he's like the all American cowboy that is... His integrity is is, top notch. You know?

Speaker 3:

And when you, when you ask the question, you know, why would he endure this torment for so long? Mhmm. You know? Then people start going off on different branches and say, well, he made a gentleman's agreement, and he did this, and he did that. And and, you know, they start making up their own answers, you know, to try to validate their position.

Speaker 3:

But, but you know, for, for him to endure so much for so long and not just him, but his family as well. Now I've seen interviews with Bob Gimlin where he's talking about the experience, you know, and I'm telling you, I I put a lot of stock in his word.

Speaker 1:

Yeah. It's it's, you know, in my opinion, there's there's... You know, and I'm trying to be fair here.

Speaker 3:

Yeah. Yeah.

Speaker 1:

Know, I'm trying to be fair. You know, as as a filmmaker, there are some things that really bother me. One, this tape lays where in some, you know, some shed someplace? I mean, seriously? I have trouble with that, and I have trouble with the dating.

Speaker 1:

I mean, they should have gone out of their way to authenticate the dating. I mean, just because the film was manufactured in '66 or '65, whenever it was, doesn't mean that that film was shot and they still have the camera. I mean, can go online and buy that camera. I mean, you know, it's gonna cost you something. So it's like, you know, the film...

Speaker 1:

Is it really before or was it after? And we don't know. I mean, all we see is a guy in a suit or a costume walking in a Is there more to that? I think there's more to that film that they're not showing us.

Speaker 3:

Yeah. And where are the rest of the films? Where's the rest of the film? Where... Where's the rest of it?

Speaker 3:

You you tell me that they've they filmed this rehearsal allegedly, and they just got that? You know, where are the other I'm not buying it. Right.

Speaker 1:

I'm not buying it. There's more on that film which would authenticate whether it's before or after the actual Bluff Creek footage. I, you know, I just... And here's where we are in in 2026 and this film proves it. There's a scripture in Isaiah it says justice is held back, righteousness stands far away, far off, truth is thrown to the street and honesty cannot come in.

Speaker 1:

This is exactly where we are. You don't know, we don't know what we're looking at because of AI, because of stuff people can manipulate. It's just like this I'm in this set okay and this is what you see but if I move the camera here or camera one that way you would see set number one. If I turn the camera around five feet away is a green screen. So here I am in the set and it looks pretty cool and thank you, appreciate that But I mean, you know, it's smoke and mirrors in a sense.

Speaker 1:

It's a set and it works for what we're doing here in this media. But as a filmmaker, you know, if it was me, go out of my way to authenticate that piece of film. Out of my way. What's before? What's after?

Speaker 1:

They're only showing this little clip. You know, the guy the guy in the costume in the field, he turns back like this. I mean, I I don't know. I don't know what I'm looking at.

Speaker 3:

Yeah. There's so many questions. So many questions even like with the costume itself. Okay. Where are the receipts?

Speaker 3:

Where are the receipts for the for the stuff? You know? Who who made it? Where are their seats?

Speaker 1:

Where did you purchase? Harrison make it himself? And from from what I gathered from the from the film, you know, Patterson made made the costume himself. But it still doesn't... It's it's...

Speaker 1:

If look, if I'm wearing a costume, it's not gonna show my muscles. It's just isn't, you know, it's it's just not gonna do that. And in the in the Gimlin Patterson film, you know, you you can look at you can look at the muscles as this thing is moving. And then, course, when it does that, when it turns back like that and there are the breaths and I don't know, mean, you know, Hieronymus makes a good case. And when I saw that walk decades ago, I went, well, that's interesting.

Speaker 1:

But okay, there's that walk again. I don't know what we're looking at. I'll give you the last word, Daniel.

Speaker 3:

Yeah. You know what? Everybody has an agenda out here. And in an age of sound bite journalism and courage. And collusion as we saw with the Russia collusion.

Speaker 3:

I was just to cite one example, you know, and everybody out to make a buck. You know, this documentary just, you know, I have more questions. You know, I'm not yet convinced, not yet convinced that the Patterson Gimlin film is a hoax, and I just need more questions answered.

Speaker 1:

I agree. I agree. Daniel, thanks so much for coming on. How do how do folks get ahold of you if they've had a sighting and wanna report it?
