So why bring it up? Because it creates more chances for someone to take a crack at hacking you. It’s another reminder to button up your personal security. Use a password agent. Ditch using the same password across multiple accounts.
Remember the SEC Bitcoin hack from a couple weeks ago? That turned out to be a SIM swap that could have been prevented if the government agency had bothered to use two-factor authentication.
