CONSTANT RENEWAL

Today is Rosh Chodesh, a new moon. Just as the moon renews itself every month, each of us must constantly experience personal renewal. At the same time, we must bring something new into the world. These are related, since we experience our greatest personal growth through working to make the world a better place.

Moshiach and the renewal he will bring is also associated with the new moon. Therefore, every month on the new moon, the spark of Moshiach in each of us is revealed. We must use each new moon, and every time of renewal in our lives, as a springboard for personal and global growth. By doing this, we will achieve the ultimate stage in renewal, the Redemption.
