Speaker 1:

Welcome to Outsmart the Hustle, where we turn hard work into smart work, helping you focus on the high impact moves that drive your business forward without getting stuck in the grind.

Speaker 2:

I just wrapped up a week at creative educator conference and oh my gosh, amazing amazing people, amazing speakers, just left that whole experience energized and ready to continue in my education business. So Lele and Amadhi, thank you so much for putting that on. Cause really, like, so underrated. I think that people don't really know how cool it is. So if you're an educator, please go check out the creative educator conference next year.

Speaker 2:

Just so so cool. There are a lot of amazing speakers, but my takeaway came from Danae Berry. She was amazing at speaking about buyer confidence. And I think that we just like underrate how important empowering the buyer is. And sometimes we don't even think about it that way.

Speaker 2:

She said that your clients are gonna buy from you if they have these four things, competence, connection, capacity, and clarity. So are you clearly communicating these four things to your clients? They're gonna ask themselves these questions. Do I have the necessary skills, knowledge, and competence to get the results? Do I feel seen, heard, and understood?

Speaker 2:

Do I have the time and the resources to get this result? And is there a clear path to this result? Because if they can't answer one of those questions even, that's where you get objections. And so, it made me step back and look at my process and be like, where in my sales part or like on my website or in my marketing do I have gaps? And how can I fill them with more clarity, capacity, connection, or competence for my buyer?

Speaker 2:

It was so eye opening. So didn't I thank you so so much? It was just like, wow. This is this really sums up sales. It's like, as business owners, we're problem solvers and we're really trying to find the thing that helps our clients move forward past this problem and in turn, we are paid for it.

Speaker 2:

Right? So how well can we know them? How well can we hear them? And get them these answers because they're asking themselves, does this work and will it work for me? Could work for a lot of people, but how is it gonna work for them?

Speaker 2:

And sometimes that just comes from a lack of confidence in themselves that could lead to that hesitation. Right? This whole talk that she had was about how to understand the psychological drivers of what makes someone say yes to you. Like, why this solution? Why me?

Speaker 2:

Why you? Why now? And when you can answer those questions, you are gonna be so unique that they have no choice but to say yes to you. That their problem is so big but your solution is so much bigger. So I'd love to challenge you this week.

Speaker 2:

I will be as well. Just going through how can we make a more clear message that brings connection and capacity and competence to our buyer. Because if we can just do those things, I think we'll be a lot better at sales.
