a podcaster, a silly boy in general, and as always, I am here with the one, the only... Alexia.

Alexia, how are you doing?

I'm doing great. What about you?

I am doing wonderfully. I am incredibly excited to be recording a new episode

of Inglês no Corujá, because we have not recorded a new episode in quite some time.

Yeah, that's true. I'm also super excited to be here recording with you.

And I'm a little bit emotional as well, because it's been a long,

long time, and it's good to be back.

So I think that we should just tell what Inglês no Cru is and what you can expect from this podcast.

Yeah, so if you have listened to the show before, you already know what's going

on. you understand who we are.

We are goofy people, but I'm Foster.

I'm originally from the US, from South Carolina. I'm an English teacher.

And Alexia, do you briefly want to say who you are?

Yeah, I'm Alexia. I'm originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, And I am the cobaia.

I am the guinea pig. Pig.

Sorry, guinea pig.

Guinea pig.

Yes.

Cobaia, guinea pig. Exactly.

Of English NecroRadio.

So, the incredibly simplified version of the story is Inglês no Cru Hájú.

It's a podcast that teaches English to Brazilians with just real conversations.

Yeah.

And we started recording Inglês no Cru as a daily podcast in I believe 2017, if I'm not mistaken.

And we recorded an episode pretty much every day, well, every workday,

so Monday through Friday, for more or less five years.

So we recorded more than a thousand episodes, which is absolutely crazy.

And sometime in 2022, I think, we just kind of stopped and didn't really explain

where we went or anything like that.

Does that sound about right to you, Alexia?

Yeah, but now we decided that we are back, But we won't tell you guys just yet

how it's going to be, the new era, era?

This new era of English Núcleo Hájú.

Yes.

That sounds like a Taylor Swift reference to me.

Well, I'm right there with her.

Alexia is officially a Swifty. That is one of the things that has changed in our lives.

A lot of things have changed in our lives.

Yeah, but I think we can definitely say we will not be recording new podcasts

daily because we did that for five years and honestly, it was just too much.

So, if you're new to the show, and...

Do you really want to just dive in and listen to us talk about anything and

everything and improve your English at the same time?

You can listen to the thousands of episodes that we have.

And what else do we want to add?

Our lives kind of continue the same. We are still in Porto, Portugal,

Buddy is around as well, our dog.

And we are still working for you guys and thinking about new ways of bringing

you some cool content and new stories and ways of you to improve your English.

Because I feel that you guys grew up with us, right?

You saw how I started with my English a long time ago, and nowadays it's completely

different. So I mean, we are in this together, you know?

And we want to continue to be in this together.

So stay tuned for what's going to happen in the next few weeks, more or less.

And we are coming with a lot of updates, but simply saying, we are back.

We're back.

Yeah, if you think about it, Inglês no Cru, it's an English podcast.

Teaching English, but really it is the story of our relationship.

We started recording episodes shortly after we met.

So if you want to listen to our entire life story, you can do that.

And for all the people that have followed us over the years and participated

in our courses and supported us.

And basically we're saying we just miss doing this. So we're going to start doing it again.

We don't know how that's going to look, how often we will record new episodes.

We only know that it's good to be back.
