Day 100 and 69

the remaining tribes of Israel
received land in Canaan as allotted

by Eliezer, the priest, Joshua, son
of none, and the tribal leaders.

These nine and a half tribes received
their grants of land by means of

sacred lots in accordance with
the Lord's command through Moses.

Moses had already given a grant of
land to the two and a half tribes on

the east side of the Jordan River.

But he had given the
Levites no such allotment.

The descendants of Joseph had become
two separate tribes, Manasses and Eum,

and the Levites were given no land
at all, only towns to live in with

surrounding pasture lands for their
livestock in all their possessions.

So the land was distributed
in strict accordance with the

Lord's commands to Moses, a
delegation from the tribe of Judah.

Led by Caleb, son of Giana.

The Kenza came to Joshua at Gilgal.

Caleb said to Joshua, remember
what the Lord said to Moses,

the man of God about you and me.

When we were at Kish Baria, I was
40 years old when Moses, the servant

of the Lord, sent me from Kadish,
Baria to explore the land of Canaan.

I returned and gave an honest report.

But my brothers who went with me
frightened the people from entering

the promised land for my part, I
wholeheartedly followed the Lord my God.

So that day, Moses solemnly promised me
the land of Canaan on which you were just

walking will be your grant of land and
that of your descendants forever because

you wholeheartedly followed the Lord.

My God.

Now.

As you can see, the Lord has kept me alive
and well as he promised for all these 45

years since Moses made this promise, even
while Israel wandered in the wilderness.

Today I am 85 years old.

I'm as strong now as I was when Moses
sent me on that journey, and I can still

travel and fight as well as I could then.

So give me the hill country
that the Lord promised me.

You will remember that as scouts,
we found the descendants of Anac

living there in great walled towns.

But if the Lord is with me,
I will drive them out of the

land, just as the Lord said.

So Joshua blessed Caleb son of Giana and
gave he to him as his portion of land.

Hes still belongs to the descendants
of Caleb, son of Jaffna, the Kenza,

because he wholeheartedly followed
the Lord, the God of Israel.

Previously, Hebron had
been called Curth aba.

It had been named after aba, a great
hero of the descendants of Anac

and the land had rest from war.

The allotment for the clans
of the tribe of Judah reached

southward to the border of Edem.

As far south as the wilderness of Zinn.

The southern boundary began at
the South Bay of the Dead Sea.

Ran south of Scorpion, pass into the
wilderness of Zinn, and then went

south of Kadish, Baria to Hezron.

Then it went up to Adar
where it turned toward Kaka.

From there, it passed to Asman until it
finally reached the brook of Egypt, which

it followed to the Mediterranean Sea.

This was their southern boundary.

The Eastern boundary extended along the
Dead Sea to the mouth of the Jordan River.

The northern boundary began at
the Bay where the Jordan River

empties into the Dead Sea.

Went up from there to Beth,
Hola, then proceeded north of

Beth Aba to the stone of Bohan.

Bohan was Reuben's Sun.

From that point, it went through
the valley of AOR to Deber, turning

north toward Gilgal, which is
across from the slopes of a Dum

on the south side of the valley.

From there, the boundary extended to
the springs at Enmesh and onto Rogo.

The boundary then passed through the
valley of Ben Ham, along the southern

slopes of the Jebusites, where
the city of Jerusalem is located.

Then it went west to the top
of the mountain above the

valley of Ham, and on up to the
northern end of the valley of em.

From there, the boundary extended
from the top of the mountain to

the spring at the waters of NF Toa.

And from there to the
towns on Mount Ephron.

Then it turned toward Bayla.

That is Ki Jiram.

The boundary circled west
of Bayla to Mount Sr.

Passed along to the town of Kessan on
the northern slope of Mount Jira, and

went down to Beth Mish and onto Timnah
the boundary, then proceeded to the slope

of the hill north of Akron, where it
turned toward Chicharron and Mount Bayla.

It passed Jne and ended
at the Mediterranean Sea.

The Western boundary was the
shoreline of the Mediterranean Sea.

These are the boundaries for
the clans of the tribe of Judah.

The Lord commanded Joshua to
assign some of Judah's territory

to Caleb, son of Giana.

So Caleb was given the town of
Curth Aba that is Hebron, which had

been named after an A's ancestor.

Caleb drove out the three groups of
Anana kites, the descendants of She

shy, a Hyman and Talai the sons of aac.

From there, he went to fight against
the people living in the town of

Die Deber, formerly called Ser.

Caleb said, I will give my daughter
Axa in marriage to the one who

attacks and captures Kiser ath.

The son of Caleb's brother.

Ken was the one who conquered it.

So Axa became O Neil's wife.

When Axa married off Neil, she urged
him to ask her father for a field.

As she got down off her donkey,
Caleb asked her, what's the matter?

She said, give me another gift.

You have already given
me land in the negative.

Now please give me springs of water.

So Caleb gave her the
upper and lower springs.

This was the homeland allocated to
the clans of the tribe of Judah.

The towns of Judah situated along
the borders of Edem in the extreme

south where Cabal, Eder, Jaeger, Kana
Damon Aida Kadesh, Hazel Nan Ziff,

TEEM Alof, Hazel Hadda ov Heran.

That is Hazer Aam Shima Moda Hazer, GATA.

Otha Bayla.

Im Zu El Toad.

Kiel Horman Ziklag.

Mad Manna.

Ana Labov Lehi A and Remen 29 Towns
with their surrounding villages.

The following towns situated in the
Western foothills were also given to

Judah, esta Zora Ashana, Anoa and Ghanim.

Gaira, and Gaira, the 14 towns

with their surrounding villages.

Also included were Zenan, Hadia,
mda, Gadd, Dian Mpe, Jacque Thiel,

Laish, Bosca lon, ca lama, Kili,
raf Beth, Daun, NEMA, and Makeda.

16 towns with their surrounding villages.

Besides these, there were lib, bna,
ether, Asian, ifta, Ashana, Zi,

Kiyah, ak, ib, and Maritia nine towns
with their surrounding villages.

The territory of the tribe of
Judah also included Akron and its

surrounding settlements and villages.

From Akron, the boundary extended
west and included the towns near Ash

Dodd with their surrounding villages.

It also included Ash Dodd with its
surrounding settlements and villages and

Gaza with its settlements and villages
as far as the brook of Egypt and along

the coast of the Mediterranean Sea, n c.

Judah also received the following
towns in the hill country.

Shamer, Jaar, SoCo Danna.

Ana that is die aab, ti a
Nim, Goshen, Hoon and Gelo.

11 towns with their surrounding villages.

Also included were the towns of
Arab Duma Ian, j Nim, Beth Tapua.

Ata Aba.

That is he and Zor.

Nine towns with their
surrounding villages.

Besides these, there were Mayon,
Carmel, Ziff, Jata, Jezreel, Jadi,

Zeno, Kain, GIA, and Timnah, 10 towns
with their surrounding villages.

In addition, there were Howell, Beth
Sewer, Gido, RAF Beth, aov, and Elthan.

Six towns with their surrounding villages.

There were also RAF Bale, that
is Raf Jiram and rabba two towns

with their surrounding villages.

In the wilderness, there were the
towns of Beth Aba Midden, Akka Nishan,

the city of Salt, and Ange six towns
with their surrounding villages.

But the tribe of Judah could
not drive out the Jebusites who

lived in the city of Jerusalem.

So the Jebusites lived there
among the people of Judah.

To this day,

the allotment for the descendants of
Joseph extended from the Jordan River

near Jericho, east of the springs
of Jericho, through the wilderness

and into the hill country of Bethel.

From Bethel, that is Luz.

It ran over to Terro in the
territory of the archives.

Then it descended westward to the
territory of the Jaff Leites as far

as lower Beth Horan, then to geezer
and over to the Mediterranean Sea.

This was the homeland allocated
to the families of Joseph's

sons, Manasses and eam.

The following territory was given
to the clans of the tribe of eam.

The boundary of their homeland
began at Terro Atter in the East.

From there, it ran to Upper Beth
Horan, then onto the Mediterranean

Sea from Mcma Ath on the north.

The boundary curved eastward past
Teth, Shiloh to the east of Genoa.

From Genoa, it turned southward
to Atero and Neira touched Jericho

and ended at the Jordan River.

From Tapua, the boundary extended
westward following the Cana

Ravine to the Mediterranean Sea.

This is the homeland allocated to
the clans of the tribe of Efraim.

In addition, some towns with their
surrounding villages in the territory

allocated to the half tribe of manassa
were set aside for the tribe of raam.

They did not drive the Canaanites
out of geezer, however, so the

people of geezer live as slaves
among the people of Raam to this day.

The next allotment of land was
given to the half tribe of Manassa.

The descendants of Joseph's older son May.

Here, the firstborn son of
Manassa was the father of Gilead.

Because his descendants were experienced
soldiers, the regions of Gilead and

Basin on the east side of the Jordan
had already been given to them.

So the allotment on the west
side of the Jordan was for the

remaining families within the clans
of the tribe of Manassa, a Byer.

Lec Israel, Shechem, heifer, and Sheda.

These clans represent the
male descendants of Manassa.

Son of Joseph.

However, ZFA had a descendant of
Heifer, son of Gilead, son of Maier.

Son of Manassa.

Had no sons.

He had only daughters whose
names were Mala, Noah.

Hola, Milka, Anza.

These women came to Eliezer, the
priest, Joshua son of none, and the

Israelite leaders, and said The Lord
commanded Moses to give us a grant of

land along with the men of our tribe.

So Joshua gave them a grant of
land along with their uncles,

as the Lord had commanded.

As a result, Manassas total allocation
came to 10 parcels of land, in

addition to the land of Gilead
and Basin across the Jordan River.

The female descendants of Manassa
received a grant of land along

with the male descendants.

The land of Gilead was given to the
rest of the male descendants of Manassa.

The boundary of the tribe of
Manassa extended from the border

of Asher to McMath, near Sheku.

Then the boundary went south
from McMath to the settlement

near the spring of Tapua.

The land surrounding Tapua belonged to
Manassa, but the town of Tapua itself

on the border of Manassa territory
belonged to the tribe of Rahe.

From the spring of Tapua, the
boundary of Manassa followed the

Cana Ravine to the Mediterranean Sea.

Several towns south of the Ravine
were inside Manassa territory,

but they actually belonged to
the tribe of Efraim in general.

However, the land south of
the Ravine belonged to Efraim.

And the land north of the
Ravine belonged to Manassa.

Manasses boundary ran along the
northern side of the ravine and

ended at the Mediterranean Sea.

North of Manassa was the
territory of Asher, and to the

east was the territory of Iscar.

The following towns within the
territory of Iscar and Asher, however,

were given to Manas Beth, Han Ilium.

Do.

Is Nafo Door, Endor, teak and Megiddo
each with their surrounding settlements.

But the descendants of Manassa were
unable to occupy these towns because

the Canaanites were determined
to stay in that region later.

However, when the Israelites became
strong enough, they forced the

Canaanites to work as slaves, but they
did not drive them out of the land.

The descendants of Joseph came to Joshua
and asked, why have you given us only one

portion of land as our homeland when the
Lord has blessed us with so many people?

Joshua replied, if there are so many of
you, and if the hill country of Ephraim

is not large enough for you, clear
out land for yourselves in the forest

where the parasites and rites live.

The descendants of Joseph responded.

It's true that the hill country
is not large enough for us,

but all the Canaanites in the
lowlands have iron chariots.

Both those in Beth Shaw and its
surrounding settlements, and

those in the valley of Jezreel,
they're too strong for us.

Then Joshua said to the tribes of Efraim
and Manassa, the descendants of Joseph,

since you are so large and strong, you
will be given more than one portion.

The forests of the hill
country will be yours as well.

Clear as much of the land as you wish, and
take possession of its farthest corners,

and you will drive out the Canaanites
from the valleys too, even though they

are strong and have iron chariots.

immerse reading experience.
