Genecia Alluora: In today's episode, I want to talk about four times money blocks can pop up for every entrepreneur and how to deal with them. Yes, this happens all the time. So I want to share with you the four most common times on your business journey when a money block is likely to show up and what to do so they don't derail your business and yourself. Now, money blocks are going to show up again and again. Remember, I've shared with you, it's like a box of tissue paper. When you pull one up, the other one is going to come up next. And I believe we'll always have to be pilling those limiting beliefs. Just when you're thinking you've dealt with them and you've hit a new level in your business and your life, they are there again. And that's bad news.

Genecia Alluora: You might be thinking. Why can't I just deal with money, money, blocks, ones and for all? It's not like that. We are human being, full of experiences from our child birth to where we are in our younger days, to our teenage years, to our young adult years, to who we are now. So don't beat yourself up if you're experiencing a money block that you thought you cracked. It's just like getting up and having a shower. You have to do it every day. Otherwise, you start to be a little bit smelly. That's how it is, my dear. Money blocks in business and how to deal with them. Let's talk about some crucial points in your life where they might come up more than others. Number one, when you are starting out. Number two, when you launch a program or a product business. Number three, when you hit an income flat line. Number four, when you set a big money goal.

Genecia Alluora: So, let's take a look at each point in your life as a business owner, and I'll share with you some of my top tips around busting through your money blocks for each scenario. Number one, when you are starting out, launching your business, money blocks come up. When you are getting your business off the ground, your money blocks can really derail you. You might experience a lot of resistance and procrastination. I mean, this might be the first time that they might have even come up for you. Most of the time in a job, you don't get blocked about money. Maybe you've never experienced money blocks before. Now suddenly you are having a set of your own prices and somebody's asking you, Can I get a discount? Would you like to butt a trade? Why are you so expensive? All these things are happening and it's all new. The first time you can get a refund request, it's new. The first time you get a complaint, that's new. Every time that happens, you're going to feel like you can't get past it. Luckily, that's not the case.

Genecia Alluora: The good things and the good news is that things that scare you today around money in the future won't even be a problem. You'll be like, "Oh, refund request? No problem. We've got a system in place to deal with that. Oh, complaint? Sure, we've got a procedure for that as well." So it will become really easy in time. But the first time you do anything, it's a path for you to go through. It's like a rite of passage. It's just something that every entrepreneur has to go through, burning through the fires, going through, walking on glass. Well, it's part and parcel of the journey to get from where you are now to where you want to be much, much faster, you still need to go through the path. And the funny thing is, though, a lot of people want to quit when they have an awkward or difficult money conversation. Your only job is to get through it. You're not going to die.

Genecia Alluora: It's okay. You can survive and you can work through your way. Okay? If you're new in business, big hugs to you, because this is the time when you really have to work on your money blocks and you really have to be vigilant about your thoughts and feelings about money. Number two, when you launch a program, launching something, launching a product business, a skincare beauty business, a launch online business, whatever that may look like, whether it's in healing work, target card reading, energy healing, you know what? Money blocks will come up. Money blocks will come up at critical points in your business. Like when you are launching something new. This is when you start to second guess your pricing. You look around, you compare everyone's prices, you start to second guess every single part of your business. You start to ask yourself am I worth it? Am I enough? Did I do good? Did I do enough? This is when you start to overcompensate and you start to put more and more into your products and programs.

Genecia Alluora: Ever fallen into the trap of over giving? Well, I have far too many times now. This is a huge one. You might be thinking this is not enough, I have to give more, I have to give more bonuses. And the best part and the best thing you can do at this stage is to follow your launch plan. Know that those little stinky cockroaches and noise crackers in your mind are really normal. It just means that you're going through to the next level and you're facing some kind of resistance around it. If you have gotten through those money blocks at the start of your business, then it's going to be much easier at those critical points to get through them as well. Remember, launching in your business is such an emotional thing and emotions can be increased and heightened at every single stage. You just have to be very careful when you're not making up stories about yourself during that time. Stories like I'm not good enough, nobody wants my stuff, everyone has it got it together and I don't. Well, she's better than me, I'm not good enough. Success is for her and not for me.

Genecia Alluora: Maybe I just need to work harder. Maybe I'm not working hard enough. Oh, maybe I'm not a celebrity. Maybe because I'm not Gary Vaynerchuk. Well, you can see really watch those stories. The more stories to tell yourself, the more stuff you have to solve and clear later, more shit you have to clear. So stop and catch yourself, okay? Because these will kill your business and they are not even true. Number three, when you hit an income lets you or income flat line. Well, that is money blocks. Now the third most popular that you might hit your money blocks is when you have hit an income flatline. Usually when I see my clients hitting an income flatline, they cannot grow their income anymore. It's because they have hit their mindset has some kind of block. It's like suddenly there's this avalanche of money stories and limiting beliefs that's overcrowding them without them knowing. And for example, this is the most of amount money of money that you will be able to make in your life. And any success you've had so far is just by luck. You never ever earn more money than this.

Genecia Alluora: Someone may have just told you that. Oh, you're just lucky to cross your six figures on TikTok Singapore and becoming a best seller for a Alluora Skincare Products. You're just by luck. It's just by luck. It just so happened that you were there and they gave you the opportunity. Your success is nothing. Don't let all these money blocks hurt you. And these money blocks are real. And this negative self talk can be so destructive. But please don't see this as a sign to give up or quit. The world needs your particular magic, needs your brilliance. You have a diamond that is within you and you deserve to shine. You can rise above your limiting beliefs around money and your ability to earn it. Like I've said, I run multiple six figures business, even in my skincare business. We run it on TikTok Singapore platform as one of the channels, and we cross multiple six figures in multiple months.

Genecia Alluora: So there can be limiting beliefs that happen for me. But it is important to always keep reminding ourselves that money blocks are stories that we tell ourselves to hold ourselves back. All right, number four. When you set a big money goal, like, let's say you want to do a million dollars, or if you got a big money goal, $10 million, whatever that may look like for you, the moment you set that goal, money blocks are going to be sitting next to you, sleeping next to you at night. Every single moment and every single minute, they are going to find you. If you have set a new big, hairy, audacious goal, like getting to six figures or seven figures, it's super likely that your money blocks will gear up and want to be fast and furious along a site with you. You might be thinking, but surely when I hit my six figures, my life will be perfect. Yeah, I'm quite sure too. And surely when I hit seven figures, I will just be this amazingly perfect human being.

Genecia Alluora: My dear, gorgeous, sorry, it doesn't work like that. Well, you are still going to be the exact person, same person that you are now, with the same thoughts, feelings, fears and limiting beliefs about money. But you and you have the tools. You'll be able to recognize your money blocks quicker. You'll be able to recognize your own self sabotage and move through it as well. And you'll have the armor and the fortitude to keep on going, no matter what, until the next one. And that's the good news. And the bad news. You're always going to have money blocks. And that is the bad news. And the good news is you're going to get better and better at dealing with them. It's like your super money muscle.
