Kasra Dash: so if I have a pest control business and I want a consistent flow of inquiries to grow my business what do you recommend spending my marketing Budget on
James Dooley: so if you're looking to grow a pest control company I would want to know a little bit more information of exactly what type of um animals and stuff you're trying to get rid of whether it's like a bees nesk a wasp nest or what is it is it that these bird Spats in The Loft like what exactly is it that you're looking for I'd also want to know whereabouts the demographic of where you're working is it in Manchester is it in London right I'd say the most economical method of generating and getting growth and generating leads would be using fat rank.com which provides um pest control lead generation and you only pay on a back end so that means you only pay for jobs that you converted right now that comparison to other lead generation companies that you charge you per lead whether it converts or not there's a risk tolerance to buying from lead generation companies however I'm the owner and the founder of fat Rank and I'm telling you not to just 100% rely on fat rank as being the the sole source of leads for you to do you should diversify you should not have your eggs all in one basket you should be trying to look for maybe one or to other lead generation companies to get you that consistent flow of inquiries to keep your people busy right but do shop around and make sure you're vetting your different lead generation companies I'm going to rhyme off a few of the ways that you can do to to grow a business yeah um and then you can then see which ones you think are best out of these so you've got PPC um bidding to be at the top of Google per click it stands for pay per click that's not pay per leads it's even more risky than buying leads from a lead generation company however if you know the longtail keywords in a specific demographic in a certain area and you're good at conversions paperclick can generate your leads literally today if you set it up but it's very very high risk in my opinion very expensive you've got SEO which stands for search engine optimization for me this is a must for brand building for a pest control company it's a must for building those testimonials and reviews I think it's a must for getting the case studies of what you've done it helps on that but also if you can generate your own leads then absolutely great long term if you can generate your own leads and you're not having to pay a lead generation company that's the Holy Grail of you owning a business your overheads are much lower if you're not need needing to pay money out for those leads you've got social media um that's organic social media of posting every day on places like Instagram on Facebook maybe uploading videos onto YouTube on Twitter Maybe videos on Tik Tok um and then you have so social media ads yeah so what's your thoughts on them that just rhymed off of different ways to grow a pest control company
Kasra Dash: so I agree with PPC I think it's very risky unless you know what you're doing um unless you've got somebody inhouse or potentially you're even Outsourcing it to an actual expert that's literally living and breathing inside the ad account because you've got click fraud um and you've got competitors clicking on your ads and stuff like that so that can rack up a very Hefty Bill and it might not result to many leads with SEO and also Google business profile I think that that's a much safer strategy to to grow another um income stream for your actual business so what what I would be looking to do is like what you've mentioned it before I would get the review cards you can head over to reviewy cards. cuk I believe it is yeah um and basically every time you actually go to a job um after you've completed you can actually get this review card tap on somebody's phone and then they can leave you a fstar review that helps when it comes to like ranking for Pest Control near me so if you are in a very dense area um or that's where your business is based let's say you're based in London or Manchester Birmingham you've got much higher chance of actually ranking for um Pest Control near me or rat control near me or Mouse control near uh near me the next play and this is kind of falls into the same bucket is actually doing SEO on my own website so getting my actual web pages ranking for rack controled Manchester or um insect Pest Control um and the reason why I would focus on that is because when somebody is actually searching that they're more likely to actually click on the organic listing as opposed to even PPC for example the intents a lot
