all righty everyone are you ready for another exciting episode of the rock
so cab question yes since your character wasn't skyward last time and you did make the joke of
well you might wonder how i got here as as baba o'reilly starts playing in the background
and do you want to do the recap no but i can open up a recap if you want because i've i have been
dealing with contractors being in my house all week my brain is fried just want to play tabletop
rpg and hang with friends tabletop tabletop tabletop just want to roll dice have time have
good time ignore the horrors of life on the plus side on the plus side i will say this though
we might have found a buyer for the house
let's go that's a gamer moment big fat w yeah so anyways froggy do you want to do the uh the uh
summary of last episode oh no no no froggy's not alone this time froggy's the only one with hero
hero points i i don't think it would be fair if froggy was correct and uh and god last time
you know says yeah and i'm changing it up changing it up someone else has to do it and chat remember
if you are very angry that people do not have hero points themselves you can whenever you do any bit
donations on twitch and do hashtag the character's name that you see here on screen then those bits
will go there but just a little bit of percentage like i don't take away your total but additional
is added that goes back to me in which i'm already full on villain points so i get to
re-roll evil things today he's already at fucking three i hate it here i hate it here i hate it here
i hate it here i hate it here with those hero points they can re-roll d20 results pretty much
just like anything that hero points can do which are very very useful but of course i get a
villain punch and villain points allow me to re-roll monsters d20 rolls but that's kind of where we
kind of limit it because we don't want to do uh horrible things we tried doing some experiments
and it didn't work out but which one of you besides beetle that's beetle uh want to tell me what
happened last time and if none of you can or you mess up i'm going to crease my total from three
villain points to four uh please please please please what happened last time
what happened last time but i did it last time i could pick somebody
cabal hasn't done it before i oh look i said when we institute this system that if i ever have to do
it that's going to be a hero point that i'm not going to get but you can make it a funny bit you got
you got to do it you make a fun be it all right i'm trying my best i'm very bad at this okay imagine
papa o'reilly playing in the background you can do it our fate is in your hands no pressure

okay um so if i remember correctly uh last episode we left off as the oh god what was it the
uh cart chase or uh oh god what's his name uh haylig hollig uh the the noseless wonder
uh like there you go that's his name i know i remember how he sounds i don't remember his name
look all right i spent 10 years in the military everybody had name tags i still haven't adjusted
um so we'd gone after hollig's cart we wound up uh catching up to it uh and we ended the episode
with uh us murking the two bandits that had stolen it them falling off uh i was standing on top of the
cart along with heart heart went to go and stop the cart and decide to put his fist
through the axle if i remember correctly he failed chariot class dude yeah which which has caused the um
just caused the uh the cart to be disconnected from the horses uh the the wheels to like veer to the
side and the cart to start to flip which results in uh finding out that ghosts are affected by the uh
the laws of physics in this um in this case momentum and uh as uh talim is flying through the air
he's thinking to himself he's like well maybe wondering how we got here
and i'll tell you how
so we started off last episode uh we had finished up the bit uh in i believe the tavern uh the
tyrants guild uh had all rallied to go suppress a riot and uh in that moment had given croc and his
gang a chance to slip through their fingertips and so uh croc the big burly lizard gangster that he is
uh bid us a fair ado and moved on uh before he decided to eat all of heart um
i don't remember that i don't remember that part all right david look they were squaring up we all
knew how it was gonna go all right and um at that point in time uh we sat down we discussed payment
uh with the with the elmas and we uh we bet it down for the night uh the riots happened we took a
couple days to uh wait that out also work on a bit of uh in my case crafting and uh once the riots
calmed down going and doing a little bit of uh shopping um after we gone and done some shopping
we wound up coming back and uh having a conversation with holic where uh apparently holic has worked out
a business deal with the elmas and is going to be opening up a uh alchemy store there at the uh
at their establishment and as part of that uh holic needs all of his supplies and everything
so it turns out he had hired a uh a dwarven fellow uh to go and retrieve his cart full of goods
and uh apparently he was um late if i remember correctly and so we had to go hunt this fellow
down at which point in time we decided to you know scatter out into the pond's plaster and go see
if we could find this individual we skirted through the city we when searching for them
was eventually able to track them down to a tavern and uh froggy uh decided to have a mission
impossible moment we don't have to cover this part of the recap we don't have to cover this part
crawled into a window crawled out of the window while we're sitting there
burst in the front door it's just like the dwarf we're looking for is dead and the dwarf that we're
looking for is sitting in front of us is like oh no i didn't realize i was dead
don't forget about nugget nugget was a core important part about that
all right uh i don't remember the dwarf's name but he uh didn't have his uh his companion canine
also knows nugget which is the most precious being in all of the existence of uh the rock
crying universe uh that that's including beetle i'm sorry nugget wins out um no no nugget wins out
no apology no apology necessary i'll praise nugget but turns out uh on his uh way to deliver holix
cart he had gotten uh basically cart snatched and uh so we had to go track down said cart which we
discovered in a uh what was i guess like a square had a bunch of uh mold on it that will uh leach the
life out of you or leach the heat from your body yeah in my in my in my instance uh good thing i don't
have to worry about that yeah you're kind of fast that stage yeah i'm kind of you know yeah yeah but um
i tried to sneak around uh folks uh because i decided i was going to be a ninja um you know
resident evil not resident evil uh what is it metal giver vengeance playing in the background
but um at that same time the tyrants guild who were still out and about uh wrangling up folks uh
encountered upon us and uh the bandits had gotten away taking the cart with them
at that point in time had to fight the tyrants guild steal their horses and then go chase down
this cart in a uh running battle through the streets of the pond's blaster which was so cool
it really was i definitely suggest you go check out the bod if you haven't seen it already
um and eventually we were able to catch up to the cart jump onto the wagon uh defeat the two bandits
that had stolen it uh as we said before heart puts his fist through the axle to try and stop it
and we cut back to talim flying through the air and he's like i'm flying through the air right now
this is not good
you fucking did it
i think that deserves some two hero points if you can answer me this one question
yes what was the name of the tavern that you found baron in fuck if i know oh fuck i didn't even write
that you can't look at chat don't look at chats you're not allowed to look at them because someone
in chat's gonna fucking mention it i'm gonna ah literally i i don't know i don't know i don't know
i'm not even gonna pretend that i know i only know baron stack wall oh yeah i i i didn't write
that down okay all i remember was nugget and that was it
nugget is the important part yes i know the tavern was under maintenance they were like
fixing it up somebody wrecked it i don't remember the fucking name

one hero point i didn't know what it was in my defense chat was spewing at a bunch of different
names so they were like like look the bar was actually called the bumbly bubble blimp like
no that's uh that's uh the nuggets drive and dine that's the custom cocktail that's based off of
beetle um all right all right my fellow strimmers it is time we did it we did it it is time congratulations
cabal you were able to remember all the giant episode that happened last time
i tried now my brain is small and very smooth he's like you're a capable individual and you should
not put down yourself you did it perfectly yeah but i didn't want to you were brought up into the
car you will take this carol pointed great missus thrust upon individuals not given you were
volunteered as tribute you were voluntold that's what happened you should have got used to it
come on he's gone nah that's what i think of that next time i'll just like i'll send you my episode

cabal is already recapped you guys are still on the road
you guys are still on the road with a cart in front of you
you just things here
i was trying to figure out what this sound i was hearing was for a second i was like so scary
i was like i was like like is that like a it's like as well have like a blender or something on
as you guys are standing in front of the messed up cart your horses as you were riding riding with
have were still spooked and have run off of the other horses that were recently freed from heart's
punch you are now in front of the cart itself a bit damaged and you saw that was in the back of
the cart which is one detail we missed that uh there was a sunflower inside a giant looking
sunflower with all of its vines intertwined inside of the cart along with a bunch of vials and glass
bottles and things like that inside it seems to have been roughed up a little bit after the crash
but what you all remember is that the tyrants guild are out and about either capturing people
slaughtering people here and there just trying to find anyone who's responsible for the martin's death
so as you guys are in front of the cart what would you guys like to do
well fuck
i'll move myself to where i was here
i hope those horses weren't holics because they're not anymore
how are we gonna get this back
uh we gotta hook heart up to it where the horses were oh no wait it's broken heart
i'm sorry
well sorry isn't gonna fix this

we're gonna examine you don't just clamber flambers up yeah just look
we try to examine just any way of like how we're gonna move this because it's completely busted
so if you like to uh assess the damage you can roll me a perception check
but if you want to have just a little bit more information on how you think you can fix it or at
least try to fix it you can roll me a crafting check
i'm gonna do a perception because i ain't got shit in crafting

i rolled a 10 for a total of 17
i rolled a 5 for a total of 11 i don't know anything about horses or carriages
i'm gonna roll crafting because beetle's sitting there looking at standing i mean standing he's
standing and looking at it too

rolled a 17.
all right with the guy's rolls uh for gray with your
roll of a 17 you're seeing the trajectory that uh talim has flung off of knowing that
you know with talim pretty much just having a yamcha pose in the front of the cart there
you see that um it kind of run into the stone itself the stone pretty much stopped it dead in
its tracks and some of the bits and bars of the wood are messed up but just from looking at it you
you can tell you can repair this you know you can get this up and going very easily but without any
horses it's going to be a an ordeal getting it back um for you beetle from you kind of see this kind
of same as gray but you see all more details you know that if you look around um some of the
buildings to left and right you you might find a building which has been abandoned and you can
probably get some planks of wood or things here and there maybe tear out some nails uh with some of
your items or tools and just kind of get it get the axles kind of spruced up a little bit just kind of
repair it enough to where you can get it back to elma's and back to holic and heart it's a cart
i i thought for sure you were gonna say for a second like you could
pull some nails out with your teeth and i was just like my brain just auto-completed
at heart you could eat this cart if you wanted to you could fit
it we need it this is my great news because as a part of my improvised tool feat uh i can attempt to
repair damaged items i'm assuming cart works here also uh without a repair kit which i don't have so
that's great a beetle uh he's gonna look up at the two of them and be like don't worry about it
especially you heart okay it's you know we we all do stuff in the heat of the moment we say stuff
we punch carts we don't always meet it everything's okay i can fix no i'm not dead
oh
okay well i did heart points to the card that cart
would you two uh help me get wrote in on so well to leave is dead beetle's gonna start uh asking gray
and heart to help him collect things that he'll need to repair the cart and just like
he evolves them one one one moment beetle i need to make sure he's actually
i don't know coherent oh yeah he's dead he's probably fine he's just gonna go check out
to leave
leem is just laying he's just laying just like floating a couple inches off the ground just
laying there hey hey get up she starts like trying to like poke at him
what do you think so it comes out like
everything i do is spookier he starts to like like do the motions of like pushing himself up but he's
like never touching the ground it like looks around dust himself out looks back at the car and
you see his shoulders just slump and he's just like
like how bad is it well bad says yeah it is it is uh pretty rough but uh beetle says he can fix it so
uh we're gonna see if we can do that how are you are you like i don't i don't know how the death thing
works are you are you like conscious enough are you like are you good i am dead
what's doing here yes yes i i know that okay okay i'm gonna go help beetle
good job you did good she's like tries to like pat him on his head doesn't work her hand just kind of
goes through he'll just kind of like drift over to the car and he like just starts to like look at
it and like kind of poke at it and see what's going on with it hey soren i'm snoring since so many
individuals in this city seems to be pretty rude people who don't tend to enjoy you know you being
in their way art will take this cart and try to you know drag it from this side of the road to the
side just so we don't get run over by someone coming running and being like and just like a mob
of people running in and just beating the shit out of us how dare you put your cart in the middle of
street bunch of people spilling out of their houses with like bats and stuff yeah all of our stuff
yeah yeah so uh just just for time and stuff um you're able to take your time and kind of shift it
over you know and use what what leverage you can to get it over onto the side when you're when you're
doing so as you look kind of down and past the road you do notice that you you dodge several people and
good chunk of traffic you've noticed it's a lot less than now you're on you're on one far side of
the pond's pilaster in the city of outset and as you're looking around not a lot of people are outside
because you see smoke and glowing of fire out into the distance and you can just hear like it's a
battle and screaming off and alleyways and things like that you know you're you're on the outside of
it but you know things are going bad in the pond's pilaster right now
this seems bad
well that's why we're trying to fix this so we can get out of here let's go
so i i couldn't help but notice that you pulled the cart no problem you think you could
you know heave ho this back to the delba delba yeah probably oh hell yeah man beetle's gonna walk up
and put up a fist he he leans down and bumps it uh and he like puts one hand on his hip one on his
shin strokes a little bit thoughtful but uh i don't think that i can bring it back as fast as a team of
horses could you know they have two more legs than i do we don't have any horses so we gotta work with
uh oh we gotta work with slow yeah but you got me and he double like points at himself with his
thumbs exactly and you just said you were slow so it's fine we're gonna work with it it's all right
don't worry about it i can't believe we're gonna jury rig this into the pawns blaster's fanciest rickshaw
paint my carriage all right so once that's fixed beetle's gonna go around and like look inside the
cart assess if anything is broken namely if any bottles or anything are he's going to remove them
and throw them away to try and hide that anything was damaged okay sure yeah you just start finding
broken bottles and spilled liquid in the back just like yeah whatever environmental hazard it's it's
poor poor district just yeah yeah exactly exactly he's like i don't want to get in trouble for this
and throws it outside the back of the wagon he looks at the big sunflower he's like oh no beauty's here
oh the big beauty flower flower yeah
gray's gonna go check the damage along with beetle it feels weird if it feels weird that holic isn't
with it yeah that holic would let it travel without him and then beetle can i check in the coffin to
see if there's a body um so what you can do if you want to check just kind of more inside and get more
details of it roll me a perception check but if you want to check on the flower roll me a nature check
oh my goodness also for contacts because we did we did it all before the stream fingers or whatever
everyone leveled up by the way uh it's level four now for a whole half an hour of us digging around
our shows are tersely bad on letting people know what level we are like we kind of do it on purpose
because people back backseat the out of us sometimes you're like you're not the fire you
should be having this this this this is not optimal you gotta have this is this i'm like just let
them play just let them hear you right now if you try and backseat me i'll do things just to frustrate
you i am that guy i'll put it loud in your ear so your perception check of a 26 is that there's um
there's no coffin in there um there's no coffin in there pretty much like the the sunflowers just
kind of secured inside of the cart you see it's vying and so naturally just kind of just latched on
uh it's on the inside of the cart um you've gotten most uh from the time you've got with the cart you
were able to kind of swish out most of the broken vials and things you could tell everything will
be fine if you begin to travel uh most of the other stuff were secured as this thing was like
jam-packed for the move kind of hastily in a way that you've noticed uh there wasn't like knowing
hollick in and seeing his stuff before uh you could tell that like hollick usually likes to
organize and keep things going you could tell just from how this was packed it was hastily thrown in
hmm
it's a bit weird but it looks like hollick was in a rush to leave i mean with what's going on i wouldn't
be surprised do you think that the the big poopers are going down into the sewer i mean i wouldn't be
surprised really times undergrounds are where people will gather in times of resistance oh
hey does this sunflower look normal to you it's kind of like holding on to things in the cart to keep
itself upright is that normal i mean plants are weird so okay folks his head around like from the the front
the cart and it's just like considering your size beetle i would not get close to it i've already
done that beetle hops out of the cart and runs away from it it's not planted in anything anymore
either i can't believe beauty ate beetle and became a new source of rock yeah beauty just slashes out
grabs beetle shoves them into like the big brown circle in the middle of the sunflower sunflower petals
close it around i can't believe beauty's eating a sandwich
hot looks at these three individuals that he trusts more than most other people in the world
and that was his mistake yes
and he looks out towards the street the way they came from
and looks back at them and goes do you need me for a moment
what how do you mean do you need me like at the moment well we need to get out of here as soon as
possible so we kind of need you yeah what you're doing of course but like fixing the wheels and all
that i don't know how this thing works i think we can handle the repairs ourselves if there's something
you need to do but timely would be preferable don't worry i'm fast what don't worry i'm fast
okay i guess we'll see you back in a few minutes then i would count it like maybe two
okay hey soren i'm snoring so to to make it so that i am avoided from all of this crafting um
bart will run down the street and pick up the two individuals that had stolen this cart
since he has since he has 40 feet movement soren uh he is running about as fast as a horse
um uh how long would you think that it would be for me to
run down the street and grab at least one of them i'm so sorry when you said he ran as fast
to a horse i pictured him dropping onto his head all four just gallops like a
fucking gift like that horse gold gift
like i'll be fast two minutes drops down on all fours takes off he rears backwards
three of them are just staring at him like well
i'm barely in his face believe just peeks around the corner of the cart he's like i'm surprised you
can tell time so as um you know it's gonna take about five minutes to run back and go grab the
closest corpse and then come back yeah because it's a while away so you are huffing it the entire time
because you've been on horse horses and going as fast as you guys could so it'll take you a bit
heck yeah all right and then while heart's doing that we fix up the wagon
fucking uh lend my assistance in fixing the wagon with my all right crap fix the wagons
who wants to lead on fixing the wagon me me me all right go ahead and roll me a crafting check and
if anybody wants to help in in any creative way uh feel free to convince me with the roll well beetle
12 total so are you happy with that you have hero points by the way i'm gonna use my hero point i saw
it drift over the 20 and then land on the two and i was like
tell him will use his crafting to assist beetle in uh the best places to structurally support the
damage that was done okay okay that's 20. not a natural 20 but that's a 20. okay 10 plus 10. hey go ahead tell him okay
i'll take it i'll take a roll to 13 for a total of a 24. nice okay uh gray will also try and help
uh by taking her cloak and like tying it around loose areas that could be reinforced
nice okay roll me either roll me crafting
whoa a total of 20. let's go all right with everyone's rolls there you're able to fix up the
cart just fine able to kind of reinforce it with bits and bobs we found in a bounded bennett house
you know get everything nice to go to you guys rolled really really well and uh without any complications
you repair the cart yay i don't have anything else that i need beetle to do before heart gets back so
he's gonna chill and wait until heart gets back and for heart you find um you do find one of the
corpses is kind of to the side you see some people have already kind of come out and started to kind of
pick at the body here and there um what do you do
excuse me excuse me hi there hi hi heart you see like that's my crone coming in
i saw it first oh no oh no it's an old woman oh no it's an old woman
hey soren weakness the geriatric
how high is the dc for my will save to approach an old woman
your will save is always your uh your will say plus 10. so it would be 19. okay okay okay okay
i wish to use my hero point i want to be brave

sees this old crone sees every single person in like the street just look back at him and he looks
and he turns it he turns back around and starts walking away

cries he smiles and he walks away you know proudly but he is crying

you see she starts strumming on this really nice lutes and stuff
i was taking a drink it was a mistake
pathfinder career you kill an old lady so much so he he comes walking back
and he walks up to the heart she looks him dead in the eye who hurt you i can't lie i'm so bad at lying
who do i have to beat up i i wanted to go back and maybe find a corpse by you know the people that
we sonked and uh maybe we could i don't know bring them back and beetle can do that one thing
where he likes ah finds something on a person that nobody else would find and then maybe we could uh i
don't know find more clues as to why they took the card other than just it being a card full of things
and i thought that i maybe would make you guys proud if i did that because i broke the card and
maybe you guys wouldn't hate me hard oh hard it's okay you don't have to go back and get it
you don't have to do that there oh i see i see don't worry about it
oh she was rude to you she shouted things at me i'll take care of it later
okay i have to go back that way no no we can leave i'll take care of it myself later okay
thank you your child just tells you you do have to go back that way
go in the car go in the car dear wait no you can't you're gonna pull hard hugs gray if she tries to
like tell him that they need to go that way
oh we unfortunately do have to go that way but you you i i will absolutely i will shoot anyone who

taleem pops out it's like that way we can rob them too
no taleem shut up just get on the cart shut up just get on the car whoa wait are we bandits now no
no no no no no taleem was making a joke he's got he's got a dead dry sense dead sense of humor
dead yeah yeah yeah yeah taleem looks at uh taleem looks at froggy and be like i mean when i was
alive i was so i mean to a certain extent perhaps not anymore when i passed i mean
so great great great like nudges green nudges heart over towards like to be able to start
pulling and she she'll go back and scramble on top and uh get her her her crossbow ready for
intimidating people
taleem is just arguing with with beetles it's like it's like but look at the size of him he's
perfect for intimidating people it's like you could run such a protection racket with him
oh my people tell me i'm scary
he'll get on the cart you're not scary you know just just grab grab that part of the cart and you
can pull us home is there a door on the back of the cart yes okay so taleem will go and position
himself to look out that back door heart will begin dragging the cart back you're gonna chill with the
the sunflower yeah i'll chill with the sunflower i'm pretty sure it doesn't eat ghosts oh true i hope
maybe yeah you're gonna find me i'm gonna be a pile of dust oh no it loves gosh
right then with that we start to head back down the road forward the elmas yay guys position the cart
and begin to kind of align it nice and easy as much as i would like to rotate the entire map
uh just eat my ass um that's a mood okay it's a role-playing game we're supposed to use our
imaginations yeah i like how chat is just like loads crossbow with geriatric murder intent
looks like you're about to retire early grandma
so you guys uh begin to head back pulling the cart
heart i want to see how efficient you are in pulling this cart oh yeah good
roll me an athletics check and let's see how how quickly you're going about pulling this cart

i rolled us yeah i rolled 27. holy nice good roll good roll let me uh let me let me see if i can
change the uh little thing here let's let's see if this has any
uh we'll go with it it's cart journey music now and if it doesn't work out well i'll

fast as fuck boy is this good enough of a speed i think you're doing great don't hurt yourself

gives a thumbs up she's just like you're doing great sweetie
to leave is in the back like making sure all the bottles and everything are stable
you're gonna have shelves and stuff you're gonna hurt and hurting yourself a beetle's gonna
catch gray up while gray's sitting there with the crossbow he's just gonna come over and start
palming her with you know aloe vera and band-aids
from the fanny pack thank you dear yeah of course okay comes out with the fur brush
no no no no no the uh what is it the the brushing glove no yes oh my god
wow that's not good enough
that is not good enough so let me um let me look at something real quick so um let me let me
reteach you guys how to use uh assurance so i i've been using it wrong yeah i explained it i explained
it before um because so so here's the thing whenever we're doing it wrong so what assurance
does is that you add your proficiency thing you don't add any other bonuses so it's just 10 plus
the proficiency thing the end on our sheet when you'll get proficiencies the the number there's
also added with a bunch of other stuff like your strength or intelligence modifier stuff like that
whichever stat it is even penalties yeah and and the issue uh is that we're very lazy i'm like yeah
just do that number plus 10 you're fine we've been doing it wrong um per chunk because it's just
something i got used to saying because in my mind i was thinking the proficiency bonus thing but then
i just forgot and kept adding the additional stuff so always just kind of yeah uh some previous
episodes we we elaborated on it again but then let me just because this is something that messes
everybody up it's okay if you mess up that's one of the things in temple top RPGs you're going to
mess up and it's always okay that never be afraid yeah never be afraid to mess up because it's no one's
going to memorize the book you know like everyone messes up i've even had the designers when i worked
at paisa whatever just forget you know just forget the rules and they wrote the damn book so i mean like
it's it's a lot like it's a lot for anybody to remember and process and like you've also been a
game master for how long and how many systems yeah okay it all colludes together so yeah uh so beetle
here's here's the thing you could do the dc for your um for your medicine stuff uh for your first
aid is 15. so when you click on your medicine thing here on foundry foundry does a really convenient
thing they have an assurance toggle that allows you to basically just say hey ignore all the other
bonuses even debuffs if you had like a minus five to it it goes nope you know you just oh yeah up at the
top yep up at the top you click that so go ahead and click that and roll and that automatically is an 18.
so you would automatically succeed now the main reason you want to do assurance if you want to
guarantee something it's not as good as rolling because with rolling you can crit get different
stuff you can add bonuses to it um assurance is like hey i i can i know i can win this so i'm just
gonna just do it you know um and you can do it for other things say for example you want to grapple
people if you know that person's fortitude uh save or dc is like if they're a nerd yeah you just go
oh this guy's weak i'm gonna just grapple you know and you'll be confident in it so with that yep you
roll 2d8 and you heal gray for eight now because we're just kind of traveling is it possible for me to
keep healing gray like every 10 minutes just you can uh in fact the first day thing has a special
thing about that uh as you're training wounds if you read the thing the medicine check dc is usually 15
if you're expert and you've got a 20 and be increased by 10 and uh 16 you're checking continue
treating the targets to grant additional healing if you treat them for more a total of one hour
double the hit points they regain from treat wounds so if you want to be doing this for an hour
yeah uh we can just do another eight yeah that works
woo so i'll say during this entire encounter so far you're healing gray you're not doing
anything else the entire wagon ride i'm i'm sitting behind great patch of gray up we have also
forgotten one thing that is not that super big but it is something that is starting to get big due
to being level four when beetle heals people due to being a forensics medicine investigator
they add their level to the amount of hit points healed
oh really yeah i gotta make a note of that so i'm not gonna remember
so it's 2d8 plus four each time on the success the target recovers additional hit points equal to
your level and the target becomes temporarily immune for only one hour not one day yeah
so plus four and so temporarily immune for one hour each day man that aloe vera is just working
overtime yeah yeah so you can see in your feats there wrong you see forensic medicine methodology
that'll that'll be the explanation of how all that works
learning your characters yeah be sure to read up on that stuff yeah so what that means that you can
use battle medicine well after an hour instead of waiting one day wow that's so sexy
so because you're the healer because you're the healer

thing with for me real quick yeah yeah i need you to um i don't know how you guys work but uh
if you could like put a little bit of yourself in this it would be great uh okay hold on uh what are you

it's a rock i'm identifying this rock can i use a crafting oh specifically it's a stone

and it's uh it has become like a perfectly smooth little oval

but i'm not that strong so i can probably just do it once maybe more in the future but i'm gonna try
and then he then he squeezes his hands together um and for a brief moment uh a very small speck of
magic appears within his hands and then uh his stone is like totally normal and he puts it back

have full reign to put some lore on the rock grind if you guys have any ideas of where you came from
well since hart is from there i feel or to lean also right you know super giant overarching things but
just general yeah i i feel like you two should have like the responsibility or the the i don't
the privilege it should be you two who comes up with like flavor text for for that area i think
it's funny you say that because that's actually something salty and iron working on

to get my sand dirty yeah but for the people within the desert uh it is a beautiful place to live in
because it's not just sand it is mountainous ranges it is uh like a seaside you know ocean wide beaches
it is a place of mineral wealth and of massive trade imports and um knowing from hard saying an island
and telling quan shear stuff in the southern parts of quan shear there is a place called the boiling ocean
where there's a bunch of like steam rising up from the ocean nobody really wants to live there
but there is a culture to be said to be within the steaming boiling ocean where people have settled
because they don't want to be touched by the outside world

like to find various artifacts magical bits and bobs and all sorts of things so the mayor and nugget and
sometimes another band like the gold down and try to find all the little treasures underneath and then
we tried to sell them that's how we make our living to lean like like waggon is like ah where i am from we
call them ruin divers oh yeah well we must say just terminize it here as delvers you can be a deal
of it too if you like do you get do you get famous from doing that oh well there's famous delvers
there's people even high nobles or people even on the queen's pilaster roots called pilaster kings etc
who would like to be a high dollar if you're a good delver someone can make thousands of gold even
uh you'll be very lucky if someone of high esteem would notice you to go down into the depths to
get any types of treason that sure sounds a lot better than going after a serial killer
you would think that but then you also have to deal with for example you know things that make their
living in the dark places the various traps that behold that perhaps you know long past residents have
set up to guard their treasures or places of rest i'm fine with that you know you have to deal with
you know crumbling ruins we've done that that's fine it's fine that's that's why we have weapons it's
okay but we could just go after one man oh one man who can apparently magically stretch your skin
by just touching you i mean it's just a standard wizard are you sure about that i don't trust wizards

look for a couple places i've been busy with you know any kind of gestures towards the cart

pretty much likes to make deals with delvers to where delvers can't carry a whole bunch of stuff
with them and so what he likes to do is send people out to follow delvers
and basically be their packing meals um they pretty much say hey i'll carry all your loot so
you don't have to or i could be a guy who'll carry even more loot for you because the logistics
of carrying all that stuff is a lot so what if somebody dedicated did it and for
the services he just takes a cut of the profits so that's what you would know and if you say this
out loud i don't know if you mention out loud to the party or not uh she would kind of give a brief
description of that she's kind of like a guy who gives out deals for like delvers have pack meals
oh yeah those people are very useful if you like to go down the deep below and you plan to be there
for quite a while having someone to pack your stuff for again it's very helpful
gree's kind of looking around who would be the pack mule in our situation
do you well i i will say um you know like heart has for the most part been the pack meal but
one of the things that gary may have noticed was when we were helping brug originally with those um
those barrels and stuff like that and heart had to sit down his chest but talim was very much able

um so as we walk up uh limo uh like bow as he uh dress forward he's like uh mr barnes i believe

the undeath of and uh and you will straighten up from uh to lean will straighten up from his bounds
like my companion is gray crocus a ranger of notable accomplishment and skill and i am
shibura i am a uh swordsman but also versed in the ways of magic we have heard that you are
an employer of sorts seeking for capable individuals who find things below the surface
ah delvers indeed i'm always looking for helping hands to help me find various bubbles since that's
got sit down well actually let's sit at another table and you see that barnes will kind of get up
gather his book and serve this table offering a seat to both of you and he goes i am definitely
looking for folks to help me out i've had a rumor of a certain interesting artifact that i would
i am definitely looking for um but i heard the artifact is closed in by several
gates and i think i know what one the keys are

i am quite versed at finding ease and ways through gates if that is what you're seeking mr barnes
as indeed i need this one to try to explore further down into the ruins of outset because
there's a chamber that i've uh that i've recently found that i can't quite even get into even with
my magical expertise but if you're able to help me find some various keys to it as i send other
delvers through to other places it'd be greatly appreciated the pay will be good of course with
any hazard pay that comes through because others do know that there are quite a many danger beneath the
surface of the city and even above it as you've recently seen and he'll gesture outside as
still smoke and fire has been kind of going around the city of outside especially here in the pond's
blaster he will um he'll kind of like make sure his book is closed and kind of lean in now kind of more
of a business pose and go we're interested here so if you're interested um normally the pay is about
100 gold for each party member especially for this task no strangers to danger
good how many will be accompanying you four total between all of us yeah i see and um
you'll be prepared because you will be going underground you might not see people for a bit
i will be fine due to my particular constitution but i also think my uh associates are more than
capable of taking care of themselves great kind of just snorts

blaster near the sinkhole that there was a ruined entrance that popped up one of the buildings fell
down into the sinkhole as bits of it fell through and it revealed a entrance to several bits of
ruins into someone's particular an old mansion really and it also revealed further in that they
had a secret basement that led into a bit of a a bit of an interesting chamber underneath now the
problem that comes in normally devils would go in and just deal with any critters that may have made
themselves home inside any magical traps but there but croc's gang has been uh surveying the area some
of them and even just guarding the entrance to it and it's why i was here hoping to meet with croc to
try to you know negotiate at least allow me to send delvers in but unfortunately my chances were dashed
what's going outside that's understandable flicks his tongue at the mention of croc's game just
so there's going to be danger going in there due to the large sum i'm offering you
are you willing to take the job gray kind of looks over to lean she's like i think we could do it i think we
would have to figure out a timetable for the currently ongoing task with the elmas i think we're more
than incapable of it

location and then it all depends how long it's going to be normally delvers take about a week or so
