Meraj Digital presents,
Zaki:The Amazing Stories with Zaki the Hoopoe.
Zaki:Episode 4, the Miraculous well of Zamzam.
Zaki:Salam, my wonderful friends. It's your pal, Zaki, the Hoopoe bird, flying back into your life with another amazing story. Are you ready for an adventure?
Zaki:I hope so. Because today, we have a tale that's full of deserts, surprises, and even a very special spring of water. Have you ever heard of Zamzam water? No? Well, by the end of this story, you'll know all about it.
Zaki:And guess what? This story has a baby in it too. Babies are so cute. Right? Just wait till you hear what happens.
Zaki:So settle in, grab a snack, and let's get started on our adventure with a man named Ibrahim, his wife Hajar, and their baby Ishmael. In the hot desert of ancient Arabia, 1000 of years ago, there lived a kind man named Ibrahim. Actually, the very same Ibrahim from our last story. But now, he was all grown up. Now, he was a Prophet chosen by Allah.
Zaki:He had a wife named Hajar and a little baby boy named Ismael. Wait a second. You remember prophet Ibrahim, right, from the story about the stars, the moon, and the sun? Yep. That's the same guy.
Zaki:But now he's a dad. Oh, and baby Ismael is super cute. Don't you just love babies? So tiny, so cute, and so full of surprises. One day, Allah told Ibrahim to take his wife Hajar and baby Ishmael to a very special place.
Zaki:This place was a lonely empty valley with no water, no trees, and no people. It was a very dry and hot place, but Ibrahim trusted Allah and took his family there. Ah, special place. No water, no trees, no people. Sounds like an amazing real estate opportunity, doesn't it?
Zaki:Limited amenities, but great views. Yet here we are trusting the process. Ebrahim certainly wasn't checking for Yelp reviews, that's for sure. When they arrived in the valley, Ibrahim left Hajar and Ismael with a small amount of food and water. He was very sad to leave them, but he knew he had to trust Allah.
Zaki:Before he left, Hajar called out to him.
Zaki:'Where are you going, Ibrahim? Are you really going to leave us here all alone in this desert?'
Zaki:You know, leaving your family in the middle of a desert with just a lunch boxes worth of supplies? That's tough.
Zaki:But Hajar didn't panic. Well, not in the grab your camel and run kind of way. Instead, she went for the ultimate trust fall. If Allah said it, we'll be fine. Now that's faith.
Zaki:I'm not sure I'd be that calm if I were left alone with just one bottle of water. Ibrahim didn't answer right away. He felt sad and worried, but he knew he had to trust Allah. Then Hajar asked him, has Allah told you to do this? Ibrahim nodded.
Zaki:'Yes. Allah has commanded it.'
Zaki:Wow. That's a tough thing to do. Right? Imagine having to leave your family in a place with no water, no trees, and not a single person in sight. But Ibrahim trusted Allah and Hajar was super brave too. What would you do if you had to be that brave? I think I'd flap my wings and look for some shade. This desert heat is no joke.
Zaki:Hajar's heart was full of faith. She knew that if Allah had commanded it, then he would take care of them. If Allah has commanded it, then he will not abandon us. She said with confidence. Ibrahim walked away, leaving Hajar and little Ismael in the valley.
Zaki:Hajar sat down with her baby, trusting that Allah would help them. Even though it must have been so hard, Hajar trusted that Allah wouldn't leave her and her baby alone. Trust is a big word. Do you trust your friends, your family? And how about trusting that Allah is always looking out for you even when things are tough?
Zaki:After a few days, the food and water Ibrahim had left ran out. The hot sun beat down on them, and Hajar and Ismael became very thirsty. Ismael started to cry because he was so thirsty. Hajar was very worried, but she didn't give up hope. She knew she had to find water for her baby.
Zaki:Hajir began to run between 2 small hills called Safa and Marwa. She ran up one hill and then down into the valley and then up the other hill hoping to see someone who could help them. She did this 7 times, but there was no one in sight. The desert was empty and there was no water to be found. Can you picture Hajar running back and forth looking everywhere for help?
Zaki:Seven times back and forth with the hot sun beating down. It's like playing tag but in the desert, and she's all alone. I don't know about you, but after all that running, I definitely need some water. What about you? Would you keep going like Hajar?
Zaki:Hajar was very tired and scared, but she didn't stop believing that Allah would help them. She prayed to Allah asking for his help. Then something amazing happened.
Zaki:As baby Ismael lay on the ground crying and kicking his little feet, a spring of water suddenly gushed up from the ground where his heels had touched. The water flowed and flowed, making a small Well.
Zaki:This was no ordinary water. It was special, clear, and fresh. Well, would you look at that? Ismael gives a little kick, and suddenly, it's like, ta da, water. You've heard of babies shaking up households, but this kid just upended the real estate potential in this market.
Zaki:I can almost hear Ismael thinking, you're welcome, mom. Woah. Did you hear that? Water just gushed out of the ground like magic and all because baby Ismail kicked his little feet. Can you imagine that?
Zaki:Kicking your feet and boom, a well appears. That's some pretty awesome baby power. What do you think Ismael would say if he could talk? Maybe something like, look mom, I made a splash. Hajar was so happy and thankful.
Zaki:She quickly gathered the water and gave it to Ismael to drink. She drank some water too, and it cooled her dry throat. She knew that Allah had answered her prayers in the most miraculous way. This water became known as the well of Zamzam. It didn't just save Hajar and Ismael, it kept flowing and flowing, providing water for everyone who came to the valley.
Zaki:The Well never dried up, and soon people began to settle in the valley because of the water. They built homes and the valley became a busy, happy place. This place would one day become the holy city of Makkah. Isn't that incredible? The well of Zamzam didn't just save Hajar and Ismael.
Zaki:It became the center of a whole city. People from all over came to drink from this magical well, and they built homes, markets, and families right there. And guess what? You can still find Zamzam water today. Yep.
Zaki:That very same well is still in Makkah. Who knew that a baby's kick could create something so amazing? The story of the well of Zamzam teaches us that we should always trust in Allah even when things seem very hard. Hajar never gave up hope and because of her strong faith, Allah helped her in a miraculous way. Allah is always with us, ready to help us in ways we might never expect.
Zaki:So my amazing listeners, remember the well of Zamzam and the lesson it teaches us. Trust in Allah even when things get tough. Sometimes the answers comes when we least expect them just like how water appeared when little Ishmael kicked his feet. Isn't that a beautiful thought? Wow.
Zaki:What an adventure that was. From a lonely desert to a miraculous Well, Hajar's trust in Allah saved the day.
Zaki:And you know what? There are more amazing stories to come. Our next story is about a very brave prophet and well, let's just say he's going to 'part' something big.
Zaki:Yep. It's going to be awesome. But I won't spoil it now. You'll just have to join me next time for another incredible journey. Until then, stay curious, stay kind, and keep being your amazing selves.
Zaki:See you soon.
