Controversially Candid

It's finally happening. Controversially Candid is coming in Combustive 🧨

Episode 1: Buckle Up Buttercup

This is the show for people who want substance with their chaos 🧠🤪

I am channelling my talent for talking into a long awaited video podcast all about; life post-pandemic, business, nightlife, AI, dating, food (I MUST go from Barbie to Carbie min once a day), the guide to being a hall-of-fame friend, the future (it’s fabulous, I promise), Web3 / Crypto (a.k.a. astrology for men), psychology, neurobiology… basically the art of being human 🎨🌏 Think of me as your cool, rich, drunk Fairy Godmogul 💋🔮

Guests will range from a highly curated collection of legends - the best or nothing. In the same vein, while I enjoy working alone, I will be joined by a co-host who will literally (yes, I mean literally) make history.

More to come, for now, stay CxC 🎙️💋

What is Controversially Candid?

This is the show for people who want substance with their chaos... I’m channelling my talent for talking into a long awaited video podcast all about life post-pandemic, business, nightlife, AI, dating, food (I MUST go from Barbie to Carbie once a day minimum), the future (it’s fabulous, I promise), Web3 / Crypto (a.k.a. astrology for men), psychology, neurobiology… basically the art of being human... and hilarious - I promise I’m funnier than I look. Think of me as your cool, rich, drunk Fairy Godmogul.

Guests will range from a highly curated collection of legends - the best or nothing. In the same vein, while I enjoy working alone, I will be joined by a co-host who will literally (yes, I mean literally) make history.

Marissa Kos:

COVID really was the catalyst for the disenfranchisement of youth. I fall into what is considered the z lineal, a micro generation born between 1993 to 1998. I can remember the world before tech had become so intrinsic in our lives. Gen z are so malnourished and so undeveloped when it comes to actually moving through the world as adults. 300 clubs closed in Sydney during COVID.

Marissa Kos:

The death of the night economy has killed natural data. Let's talk about this post arguing that Gen Z will marry AI. We don't do anything about it soon. That may very well be the case. I've always been obsessed with psychology and in more recent years, neurobiology, and it never ceases to amaze me how complex and yet how simple the cubic condition is.

Marissa Kos:

We all think we're a Rubik's cube, but really we're just a pest dispenser. Only in a post pandemic world are you seeing teams preferring AI chatbots than real friends. The only way to future proof yourself from AI is to become more human. I do monitor trends, and there is other tech also developing as we speak. Some led to inventive AR glasses that block out all advertising all the time with AI.

Marissa Kos:

Another AI actually identified a cell that was going to result in breast cancer four years before it did. The future is already here. It's just not distributed equally. There is a quantum physics theory that proves your actions in the present can change the outcomes of the past. So, collectively, we really need to start focusing.
