More Than We See is a grounded, practical conversation about intuition as a human sense and capacity.
Hosted by Natalie of Immersive Spirit, this podcast blends lived experience, nervous-system–informed insight, and real-world tools to help people better understand how perception, sensitivity, and intuition are experienced—and how to work with them in everyday life across kids, teens, families, and adults.
Episodes explore the many ways intuitive awareness is felt and understood—from curiosity and excitement, to subtle noticing, to moments that challenge what we thought we knew. Along the way, conversations offer practical perspectives, simple tools, and steady ways of relating to intuition so it supports daily life rather than overwhelms it. This is a place to land for people who are curious, overwhelmed, skeptical, sensitive, living intuitively, or simply paying attention in a new way.
No hype. No dramatizing. Just clear conversation, lived insight, and practical ways of working with what we sense—alongside the quiet truth that there is more than we see, and that understanding it can make life feel steadier, clearer, and more alive.

Every morning I walk out into my backyard. It's become one of my favorite parts of the day. Before work stops I make a slow loop through the garden. I usually have a glass of water in one hand and I'm checking on everything that's been growing. I have two raised beds with vegetables and herbs, like tomatoes squash basil whatever sound good back.
You know when I planted it in the spring. On around the patio I have pots full of flowers that seem to get a little bigger every time I look at them I love taking care of them. Most mornings are pretty similar. I water I trim back flowers that have finished blowing. I pull the random weed that somehow showed up overnight.
Sometimes I you know turn a pot because one side has been reaching for the sun maybe a little more than the other side. Then you know, recently, I was walking outside and when I thought, when do those tomatoes get this tall And honestly I have no idea. And the flowers have all filled in. Something that barely caught my attention a week ago suddenly looks completely different. I couldn't have told you which morning that that happened in.
I just finally noticed. And standing there this week, closing my hand I caught myself wondering How much of our lives are like that? Welcome back to more than we see I'm Natalie. And this week we're just past Lamas or lunasa depending on the tradition you follow. If you follow the wheel of the year at all but my guess is is you do feel the energy whether you follow that calendar or not.
Nonetheless, Lamarasa…
marks the beginning of the harvest season on the wheel of the year. I've always liked that. It's the first harvest Like the growing season isn't over There's another harvest, but this is the first time in the year that you're invited to stop and really look around. Kind of asking what's beginning to bear fruit. I don't think I've ever connected with the question quite the way I did this year And maybe that's because of my garden.
Maybe that's because of all the readings that I've been doing recently. Probably a little bit of both. So like over the last few weeks I've spent a lot of time sitting across from people. Some have been private readings and some have been the readings that like Stephanie did at the the fares that we traveled to in the summer. Once we're super fun and we do so many readings that them…
But after a while you start to notice patterns not because everyone has the same life they don't certainly. But people have a way of asking the same question through different stories and it's funny…how that happens. Like when is my career gonna change When am I going to meet somebody When am I finally gonna understand my purpose And that's a big one? Or why does it feel like everyone else is moving except for me? Those are honest questions and I've asked versions of them myself.
But somehow between those conversations and watering the garden every morning, I started wondering if the harvest asks us to look at it in a different direction because I've been monitoring the energy. Instead of asking what's coming next like what have we looked at what's already growing? That thought stayed with me A couple of mornings later I was back outside watering tomatoes deadheading, the flu the few flowers that that needed when it hit me. None of this happened in one morning. Every time I came back every time I noticed something needed my attention.
Every little bit of care have been quietly adding up long before I notice the results. That seems obvious right? Like I remember smiling because I thought maybe this is the practice all along, and it sent me back to Lamar. Lamas. It's we're not really celebrating the end of the season It's about stopping long enough to notice what has been bearing fruit or beginning to.
Maybe that's why this point of the wheel of the year has always meant so much to me It reminds me to stop looking so far ahead just long enough to notice what is already changing around me. Hey quick pause before we keep going If you're listening to this show you're probably someone who thinks about this stuff even between episodes. You notice things You have questions maybe you don't always know who to ask, and maybe the people around you aren't quite in this conversation with you. That's what IS Townsquare is for It's the community space inside of a Mercer spirit. Where people like you grounded curious, come to connect.
There are resources and tools and just amazing people with the four to five live events every month, and people who get it without having to explain yourself first. If that sounds like what you've been looking for you can find us at w w w dot immersive dash spirit dot com And the link is in the show notes too Alright Let's get back to it. And the more I sat with that idea the more something else started click. Lama seems to ask a different question. Where has your intention been living?
Because harvest doesn't happen on the day that you pick the tomato. It happens every day before that Every morning that you showed up every small choice, every little bit of care every drop of water. That's what finally becomes visible. One thing I've noticed over the years is that people have all kinds of different practices, like prayer and meditation journaling time in nature, gardening, They all look different, but I think they're all asking us to do the same thing…
to return our attention to something that matters. And that's what I realized It wasn't really all about the tomatoes at all At least not this. They had simply reminded me of something. I don't stop practicing because the meditation ends…or because my candle burns out or because I walk away from the garden The practice comes with me. It's there in the conversations that I have or the thoughts that I come back to, the stories I keep telling myself, the way I spend an ordinary Tuesday morning.
So let me ask you something. Where has your attention been living lately? Not where you hope it's been. Where have you actually been? If someone quietly watched your life over the last few months, What would they say that you've been nurturing or growing?
Maybe it's your relationships or your health Maybe it's a creative project that you've quietly kept showing up for. Maybe it's a worry that…been asking for your attention, maybe it's joy. None of those answers are meant to make you feel guilty They're simply information They're a glimpse of where you've been investing yourself. I think that's one of the gifts of lois. It gives us a chance to notice before we decide what comes next.
And I think that's why I love this season so much It doesn't ask me to have everything figured out. It doesn't ask me to know the next harvest and what that's gonna bring It simply asks me to notice what's already beginning to grow. That's what I've been carrying with you this week, the invitation to notice and I bring that to you. To look at my life in the same curiosity that I looked at my garden for this over a week kind of a life lesson I suppose. Our lives are usually shaped much more by the mundane than we realize like one ordinary morning conversation one decision, one place we return our attention to until one day we look up and think, when did that get so tall?
And I realized I don't actually need to know exactly how attention works. I could wander off into a whole conversation about quantum physics here and maybe someday I will. But here is what I do know. I do believe attention changes I believe intention changes us too Over time I think the two together begin shaping the reality that we live inside. Maybe that's because they influence the choices we make.
Maybe they change what we notice…
Maybe there's something even deeper happening, which is where I lay. I honestly don't know and I'm comfortable leaving that part out and the mystery alone. What I do know is that where I place my attention matters and the loss reminds me to stop every now then and simply look around to notice what has been nurturing and maybe ask whether that's still what I wanna keep growing. I know it's a little cliche but maybe stop and smell the flowers. Tomorrow morning I'll probably walk outside before work I'll make another slow loop through the garden I'll check on the tomatoes I'll probably pick a little basil if it's ready.
I'll water the flowers. The routine won't look any different than it did last week. But I think I will. Thanks for spending a little time with me today. I'll see you next time on more than we
