What is No One Left Out Ministries Podcast?

No One Left Out Ministries Podcast, will involve Biblical teaching, community outreach information, interviews and live bible study.

Speaker 1:

Today we have with us a guest and I'm gonna ask him at this time to introduce himself.

Speaker 2:

My name is Evangelist Peter Tetetemanu of No One Left Out Ministry.

Speaker 1:

How long have you been involved with the Christian ministry?

Speaker 2:

As a matter of fact, I've been is for a while now because my parents were Christians and they were Pentecostals, so I followed them from my childhood and they taught me the way of the Lord that has guided me until this time. By the time the calling of God was coming upon my life back home in Ghana, I became the president of the Workplace Christian Fellowship. We have a fellowship from America here which came to Ghana called Fellowship of Christian Aviation Personnel, and I became a part of that. And finally at one of our meetings there was a pastor, a young pastor, who came to minister to us in our VIP at our workplace. I know the Lord already, so he was ministering to others, and after that he came to me, told me that the Lord is calling you into the ministry, so I said okay, I know, but I'm not ready now.

Speaker 2:

It was dynamic at that time until I left the shore of Africa and I came to America here. And I was in a church which is called Calvary Delivering Christian Assembly, and the pastor which became a bishop called Bishop Ushu Anza appointed me a minister and he gave me a ministry. He told me that I'm a natural evangelist therefore you are a minister as an evangelist.

Speaker 1:

What do you mean by a natural evangelist? How will you describe that?

Speaker 2:

Really that's the call upon my life and I took that line up to today.

Speaker 1:

How did you feel? How do you recognize the call?

Speaker 2:

The call, it was difficult.

Speaker 1:

Did you hear an actual voice? Or did you just feel it within yourself, within your spirit?

Speaker 2:

I know myself that that's a call upon my life, so I feel it and I obey it. But in the first place, I don't want to be a minister. I don't want to have anything to do with ministry. I want just to be a Christian, go to church, guide my children to church, and focus on a secular job as a Christian. But when the call came I cannot run away anymore, and later on I decided to go to college to prepare myself for the ministry.

Speaker 1:

How would you say that you were moved to that point of surrendering? It's a challenge because in my experience, I never had the feeling referring myself to pastor. I don't see myself as being a pastor. I see myself more of a teacher, one that would impart and break down the gospel truth to others, but I cannot see myself as being a pastor. I never felt it, so I never looked to become a pastor.

Speaker 2:

When I was called, I had confirmation from other prophets. When I went home during my mother's funeral, I went to preach a message at my mother's funeral. I wasn't ordained, just a lay evangelist. An apostle saw me, he was at the funeral, he told me that when I was ministering at the funeral, he saw evangelistic anointing upon me to be an evangelist, and he told me that as I'm working now, I should not rush. When the time comes, myself move into the ministry.

Speaker 2:

So that's how my calling came.

Speaker 1:

Matthew chapter four verse 18 to 19 Walking by the Sea Of Galilee, Jesus saw two brothers, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother casting a net into the sea for they were fishermen. Then he said to them, follow me, and I will make you fishers of men. In my experience, I think that when God call you is not an impromptu call. I think it's based upon a lifetime. There's always a preparation necessary for a person to become involved in the ministry.

Speaker 1:

And I think that it's based on your life experiences. And then God takes that life experience that you have and he can use it for the ministry. We saw that Simon Peter and Andrew were fishermen. Also, James and John, they were fishermen. They were fishermen in their father's business, and God used them mightily.

Speaker 1:

And also Paul, Paul was able to use his life experiences in his ministry. Explain to us what you would consider your strengths and what you would consider to be your weaknesses.

Speaker 2:

I have many challenges. As a family man, if you have a wife and children, the devil will tempt you in many ways. If you are steadfast, none of those things will move you. And as a matter of fact, I've been through so many things of that, but as I was trusting God through Jesus Christ, He's seen me through. They called upon my life as an evangelist before being to bible college and I was ordained as an evangelist and pastor and I'm doing exactly that.

Speaker 2:

I made up my mind that nothing will stop me from the call upon my life to fulfill it because there's a goal before me, and that goal is to make it to internal life.

Speaker 1:

What is your definition of service? If somebody had to ask you what does it mean to serve?

Speaker 2:

To serve is to be truthful to your calling, truthful, so that you become a symbol to people to see and say because this man is serving God faithfully, I will also be like him. Because the Bible said, Let your light so shine before men that they will give glory to your Father which is in heaven.

Speaker 1:

Jesus was walking with His disciples and there was a big argument and discussion among them. When Jesus got to his destination, he asked him, what were you all talking about? And they kept quiet. They didn't want to say what it was, but Jesus, knowing all things, perceive what they were discussing. And whosoever desire to be forced among you, let him be your slave.

Speaker 1:

Just as the son of man did not come to be served, but to serve and to give his life a ransom for many. So I think that is the epitome of definition of service. That you're willing to lay down your life for the ministry that you put others first. The reason why you ask this question, there are many people that get into the ministry as a means of luxury, financial benefit, and also the ego and the beautiful things that goes along with ministering. Like to be seen.

Speaker 1:

They have a ego. They like to be seen. They get into the ministry for the wrong reasons, but how do you feel about that?

Speaker 2:

Thank you for that question. As a matter of fact, I have no goal before me now but to please the one who called me into the ministry, simply because the Bible said, if your ways pleases God, it makes even your enemies to be at peace with you. And now, as far as I've come to this level, I want to please God in his service so that I can be able to render service to others, and I want to save others as Jesus Christ being the Lord. Save others, so that the mind that was in Christ Jesus, that same mind should be in me, the servant.

Speaker 1:

What would you consider to be the main driving force behind you in your ministry?

Speaker 2:

The main driving force, as you ask, is for souls to be saved, to be saved, because many people are under deception even in the church, because they were not being fed with the truth. And I will not mention any church, but the church becomes a money making ministry for people and they call it upon their life. It's not about souls, but they themselves want to have accolades from people to be honored. But you said it already, if you want to be top, you might be a servant. That is why I put my ministry first before myself.

Speaker 1:

Thank you for that clarification because you have to have a mind or have a desire to please God first. And everything we give God thanks, His will concern us, but the objective of ministry is to please God. Because God himself does things to please himself. God only does what pleases him, what will bring honor and glory to his name. It is not to make us superstars.

Speaker 1:

There's no superstar when it comes to the ministry, but they have a lot of people think that they are superstars. They boast in their eloquence, and they don't give God the honor and the glory. And sooner or later, you see it happen on many occasions that they fall, fall into error because you cannot elevate yourself before God. In fact, the bible said that we should humble ourselves before the mighty hand of God. In the due season, he will

Speaker 2:

Exalt.

Speaker 1:

Exalt us.

Speaker 2:

Yes. As you said rightly, God who calls us into the ministry might be the first thing we honor, we respect. There's no way you can cheat on God, you can lie on God. And I used to say that as servants of God, we might be truthful to God and be faithful in all that we do to honor him, because God is looking for people who are available for his use. But if you have giftings and you are not truthful and you don't avail yourself for God to be used and you are taking pride in your ministry, in your titles, I'm not after titles.

Speaker 2:

I'm not going to be after titles, but whatsoever I will do to please God, and if I please God, then I can be able to please my neighbor. That's what made up my mind to do.

Speaker 1:

You mentioned the word faith, faithfulness. Do you consider yourself to be a fearful person when it comes to the ministry?

Speaker 2:

Sure, that's what I am calling to do. If I'm short in some way not being faithful, I repent so that I remain faithful because the Bible said if we are not faithful, God remains faithful.

Speaker 1:

I can testify to the fact that what you said about yourself is true. If I had to use one word to speak about your ministry to speak about you as a person, I will say is faithfulness. The reason why I said that remember the snowstorm that we had early in the year. Yes. You came and I think before we finish our meeting, was almost like six, seven, eight inches of snow on the ground.

Speaker 2:

That's right.

Speaker 1:

And you you live in The Bronx, you drive about 25, 30 miles to come to this location every Sunday unless there's some other activity engagement. You are consistently and always present, and I admire that. A lot of people that are closer, they close down the church when they see a little rain or little snow. But you says, if I can find time to go to work

Speaker 2:

That's right.

Speaker 1:

Go to the job, why can't I come

Speaker 2:

To the house.

Speaker 1:

To the house of God?

Speaker 2:

You see, if you don't know God, you don't believe in Jesus Christ, the son of you will be lukewarm because my bible told me that it should be hot or cold. You are not cold, you are not hot, you are lukewarm. For that reason, I will spit you out of my mouth. What the Lord has done in my life based upon the calling upon my life, I choose to remain faithful to Him and to the end because this life we are living here is temporary. After this life, the eternal life is what my goal is.

Speaker 1:

What is your vision for No One Left Out Ministries?

Speaker 2:

Based upon our name, No One Left Out Ministry, I want the gospel of Jesus Christ to go to every corner of the world based upon my availability, my strength, so that everybody will hear this gospel, the truth about the gospel, not the watered down gospel about the truth that rebuke sinners and then after the message they will come to accept Jesus Christ as their personal savior and Lord. That is what I am determined to do, to go to the uttermost part of the world because that was the great commission given to the disciples, I want to be a part of fulfilling that gospel.

Speaker 1:

What would you consider to be lacking in the church? Is it too little teaching?

Speaker 2:

As a matter of fact, I prefer teaching the flock the true gospel so that they know why Jesus had died for them, so that at the end of their life, they will not be worrying, where will I be? Where will I go? Because many people don't know after life where they will spend eternity. Messages were preached to them, but the life that they will lead on planet earth, that after they have demised, they will open their eyes in the kingdom of God. That's what's lacking now.

Speaker 1:

I think you're right on the mark. Today there are many preachers but not enough teachers. And I always say that you cannot expect somebody to do something if they don't know. You cannot condemn them for making mistakes. But the first opportunity you get, you should teach, you should lead, you should guide, you should impart wisdom and knowledge to the believer.

Speaker 1:

Because if you don't, how can you expect them to do right? This is what it says in Ephesians four seventeen. So I tell you this, and insist on it in the Lord, that you must no longer live as the journalists do, in the futility of this thinking. They are darkened in their understanding and separated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them due to the hardening of their hearts. Having lost all sensitivity, they had given themselves over to sensuality so as to indulge in every kind of impurity, and they are full of greed.

Speaker 1:

That, however, is not the way of life you learn. When you heard about Christ and were taught in Him in accordance with the truth that is in Jesus, you were taught with regards to your former way of life to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires, to be made new in the attitude of your minds, and to put on the new self created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness. I think that the only way that you can meet this standard is being taught the word of God. You must know. And you shall know the truth and the truth will set you free.

Speaker 1:

If you don't know the truth, how can you be set free? And we are supposed to be taught.

Speaker 2:

About teaching which I embrace, evangelists teach.

Speaker 1:

Of course they do.

Speaker 2:

They do, because our Lord Jesus Christ himself, the bible said after teaching, he preached and healed the people. He taught first before he preached and after that, he healed the people. But if you're after only miracles, signs and wonders, you are cheating the flock, you are cheating them, you have to teach them the way of the Lord, what they must live for, they must do, and after that you preach to them.

Speaker 1:

This is what Paul said in Ephesians chapter four, He who descended is the very one who ascended higher than the heavens, in order to fill the whole universe. So Christ Himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers to equip His people for work of service. So Jesus himself gave apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, teachers to equip his people for work of service so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ. Then we will no longer be infants tossed back and forth by the waves and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of the people in their deceitful scheming. There's a saying among the people in the world, oh, you're preaching to the choir.

Speaker 1:

And they think that they are making a smart comment. But actuality, we are supposed to preach to the choir. Who do we preach to? Who do the pastor preach to? Who do the pastor teach?

Speaker 1:

It teaches those members of the flock that attend faithfully Christian service, weekly basis. So you must preach to the choir. How you expect the body of Christ to become mature as Paul say, unity of the faith, knowledge of the son of God, mature, attain the whole measure of the fullness of Christ. If we don't preach to them, how can they reach that statue?

Speaker 2:

Preaching, it involves teaching. A servant of God must be able to teach and preach. If you are not able to teach your flock and through preaching you teach again, will not make disciples. People come into the church from different backgrounds, but the only thing that they are seeking after is to be taught about God through Christ Jesus. And if they are fed, they will be established, steadfast, and movable.

Speaker 1:

Lastly, I want to ask you what advice would you give to the believer? What advice would you give to the child of God?

Speaker 2:

As a matter of fact, being a believer, a child of God, is by the grace of God. Not everybody is elected or chosen, but if you happen to find yourself in the house of God, listen to the teachings, listen to the preaching, and pray for God to guide you because the devil hates you leaving his quarters. You have been drafted from darkness to the light, so you have to study the word of God, love God, be above the father's business, so that God himself will approve of you that you are indeed a child of God.

Speaker 1:

You mentioned prayer, I think that is gonna be a topic for our next discussion because I know that you are man of prayer, and I can give you time to go and and prepare yourself so that you can come and impart the truth about praying, how effective prayer is in your life. So it's a blessing that God sent you here to this ministry. One that I know is a supporter of this ministry tremendously, not only in coming, being present, but in giving. You are a very faithful individual, and we thank God for you. So may God continue the blessing keep you in Jesus.

Speaker 1:

Name.

Speaker 2:

Thank you for having me, and I love you for what you are doing. Continue your teaching ministry. Because of teaching ministry, I see new. That's why we can team up. Keep it up because the church need teachings.

Speaker 2:

Only preaching. It needs teaching so that you feed the flock in Jesus name.

Speaker 1:

Amen. Thank you.
