Well, good afternoon. Welcome to another episode of the Man Warrior King podcast. Today I'm going to talk with you about how you can break your addiction to negativity. And yes, my friend, you and many Christians deal with this issue where negativity always has to come into the discussion. And what this is going to do.
your ability to break your addiction to negativity is going to unlock your future in front of you. It's going to take the chains off of you that keep you bound, that keep you stuck, that constantly keep you living in struggle.

This is Inauguration Day, January 20th, 2025, and it is probably the most important day in modern history. I would argue that it's one of the top three days in American history, maybe day number one. Hard to say it's the most important day beyond the birth of the nation, but I do believe that this is a rebirth of the nation.
And I've been following all the events of the day up till now. Right now it's 2.30 Central Time, 3.30 Eastern. I watched the swearing in ceremony. I watched the speech from President Trump. I watched his speech last night. I've been keeping up with all of it. And I know that many of my audience, if not all of my audience, going to love, is going to be a President Trump fan. We are a conservative audience in general.
That's more than likely the case. Okay, it doesn't really need to be argued. But here's the thing. That is not the point. The point is that you and I in our Christian mentality have been conditioned to constantly be negative. We have been taught
Accidentally so, but we've been taught to continually fixate on bad futures, bad outcomes, bad aspects to situations. Our theology has become a theology that revolves around hardship in life and God being there to comfort you in your hardship.
We have built theologies and I've recorded podcasts on this recently. We have built theologies that tell us that the world is destined for failure. It is destined to get horrible. It is destined to plummet deeper and deeper into evil as we await the coming of the Antichrist, as we await the seven year tribulation.
And there's arguments about whether the rapture is gonna be before the tribulation, in the middle of it or after it.
So when you have
that mentality that the future of the world is going that direction. Then you have this mentality that no matter what's happening in my life right now, even if it's good, I better not get used to it because bad is always around the corner.
And I better not cling to what's going good in my life because that would be wrong and sinful because heaven is what really matters. And so I need to make sure that I'm not getting overly attached to what's good in this life right now. If that's always going on in my mind, then a day like today, which is a massive victory for the people of the world, for freedom and liberty and for the kingdom of God,
This day is not going to mean what it should mean to me if I continually perceive negative and believe in negative.
Christians are some of the biggest pessimists in our culture right now.
because you have a victory like this where President Trump comes back after his last attempt was stolen. He has been indicted multiple times. What is it? 34 felony counts, whatever, something like that, convicted felon. He has been attempted. There's been multiple assassination attempts on his life and probably more that the media has never even covered.
And he is standing in the face of the corruption that has marred this nation for decades. Not just two, but several, many decades.
even coming up on a century.
And he's speaking of things that have never been even conceived of as possible in the past, such as ending the Department of Education, such as completing the wall, such as he even quoted in his inaugural speech today.
We are no longer going to tax the American citizens in order to make other nations wealthy. We are going to tax other nations to make America.
I don't know the full extent of what's going to happen in that regard, but there's a lot of possibility over the next four years. And so even in a time like this. If you're living in the standard Christian mentality, then then all of it is just. Nice, but a blip on the radar as the world keeps going towards evil. And the Antichrist.
And I hear different podcasts and everything like that talking about that, how the enemies keeps trying to advance his agenda of bringing an antichrist to this scene. And God keeps winning and delaying it until the appointed time. The enemy's trying to get it to happen sooner. My question is, if that is God's plan to have the antichrist come,
Why delay it and prolong all of this corruption and all of this evil even longer? Why not just let it happen and get it over with so we can get to the end? See, there's so many logical disconnects and fallacies when you begin to believe theology that's actually not biblical. And a lot of our theology is that way.
So you can't even celebrate truly on a day like today because you're always watching your back to make sure that even this isn't a deception from the enemy. And then you have the Christians out there who are saying, who get all angry because you are worshiping Trump, you're putting your faith in him, you're putting him above Jesus, and it's only about Jesus. And so now you can't even rejoice in this day because of that.
Those people should probably stop paying plumbers to come fix their leaks. They should probably stop paying roofers to fix their roof. They should probably stop paying doctors to help them get better. They should probably stop sending their kids to school to have teachers teach them because all of that's putting humans in front of God. Assuming humans can do a better job than God can do.
It's saying, I need a human more than I need God. Do you understand how ridiculous this sounds?
It boggles my mind.
that we can sit here and talk about how I have heard pastors say that we are now living in a post-Christian era, and it is now the era of modern secularism, modern atheism, modern pantheism, all kinds of spirituality, know, Wicca.
and witchcraft and occultism is all on the rise, which may be true, but we're living in this post-Christian age. The time of Christianity is being dominant and our culture is over. It boggles my mind that you can look out at the world and see it that way.
The fact that we have Robert F. Kennedy Jr. talking about ending fluoride in the American water supply. Removing food dyes from schools. In fact, I live in Tennessee. Our governor has already called an especial session of the state legislature to meet a week from today in order to pass a bunch of stuff to fast track President Trump's agenda. Our governor is already going to get rid of fluoride from the water supply. That's not a plummet into evil.
That's been evil for a long time and getting it out of the water supply is is is a huge mirror.
Ending critical race theory and gender theory stuff in schools is a miracle. Back to Robert F. Kennedy, the opening up the discussion on childhood vaccines that have damaged person after person for years, and patting the pockets of pharmaceutical companies. That's a miracle. This is fantastic things. Closing the border so that people can come in legally but not illegal. Absolutely fantastic.
getting rid of the gangs and the criminals that have been freely let into our country. Fantastic.
Returning the education of the states getting rid of the Department of Education. Wonderful.
This is not a time to be questioning how is Satan using all of this right now. This is a time to be celebrating that what had been a period, and not just the last four years, but before Trump's first term, it was a period of decades of hidden corruption that was hidden behind a facade of a Christian nation.
It is a time to celebrate that the darkness that was hiding in the dark is being brought to light for everybody to see. I mean, we're talking about declassifying JFK's assassination files because he wasn't killed just by this crazy lone gunman. The powers that be wanted him to.
We're talking about declassifying Jeffrey Epstein's flight logs and Maxwell's black book. We're talking about massive exposure of evil. That sounds to me like what the Lord does. And if you're living under the deception that the world is getting worse and worse,
And there's nothing we can do about it. Ours is just to make the best of what we have, then I am sorry for you. But you need to break free of it. And in fact, if you want help doing that, you should pick up the book, Victorious Eschatology, written by Harold Eberly. It's a fantastic book. It articulates very well a different possible narrative for how the world is going to end. You should definitely check it out.
but don't be deceived into being obsessed and addicted to negativity. I mean, this is even true on a personal scale, right? Our discussion of the kingdom, our discussion of salvation has become, it has devolved into a discussion that centers around stopping your sin.
That is tragic. Should a person sin? No. Should you be done with sin? Yes. You've been set free from it. But salvation and life in the kingdom is about so much more than just sinning or not sinning. That's another addiction to negativity. What about the addiction to the promises of God? What about when you get saved, you're being saved out of the kingdom of sin so you can be transferred into the kingdom of his son so that you can be a recipient of his innumerable
more than you can handle blessings in this life, not just in the next

When Jesus was born, we know the story of Luke two, the Christmas story, right? When Jesus was born in Luke chapter two, verse 13, it says, suddenly there was with the angel who had been visiting the shepherds, there was a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying glory to God in the highest. And on earth peace.
and goodwill towards men.
This said, God has good intentions towards you. He is well pleased with you and he wants peace on earth. Peace.
Our English translations can oftentimes be very, very weak and not convey the fullness of what's intended. The primary word for peace in the New Testament is spelled in the English letters, E-I-R-E-N-E, A-R-A-N-A. I don't know if that's how you truly pronounce it, but that's how you spell it. Excuse me, if you look up the word, you will find many out there.
who say that that New Testament Greek word, ereine, is actually derived from the Hebrew word shalom. So in the Old Testament, you see the word shalom translated as peace all over the place. The meaning of shalom is not just peace, absence of conflict, calm in the middle of trouble.
you know, this sense of inner quiet and rest because you trust God even while your life is really difficult. And I got to tell you guys, that is the common understanding. That is the common view of Christians about how life is gonna be. Because I'm saved, I get to have a nice, calm, restful attitude because I know that God still loves me even while my life is going down in flames. Even though
The struggle is happening in all kinds of different places and my life is really difficult and it may not be getting any better, but now I have peace. Isn't that nice?
It's bull crap. It's speaking as somebody who has been in hell, not literally in the place of hell, but in my life when I couldn't get out of bed and I've battled disease intensely concurrently with having no money concurrently with my marriage being very, very just tense. like we were just so had such a hard time connecting. I didn't, I,
I didn't get saved so that all that could just continue while at least I was comforted by the fact that God loved me. That is a ball-less faith. That's a faith without cojones. And I'm not afraid to say it like that. But you have this word peace that is all through the Old and New Testament that we just assume just means that inner sense of calm and quiet and trust in God, even though life is really hard. That is not what
it means.
Shalom actually means...
your entire wellbeing, the full range of human flourishing, specifically prosperity and wealth, and specifically health, physical health in your body. So all through the Old Testament, shalom means entire life, goodness. Experts will say that the New Testament Greek word, erene,
is intended to have the same exact meaning. It means entire human flourishing.
In fact, the Greek version of the Old Testament, which was written, I believe, a couple hundred years before Jesus was born, it uses erene in all those Old Testament places where you would otherwise see shalom. Okay? So in the New Testament, even though it's written in Greek, you have a bunch of Hebrew mentality people who are saying this word of peace or shalom or erene, whatever, and they are still
In their mentality, understanding that this means I am blessing you with complete physical health that your body be free of disease. I'm blessing you with complete prosperity and financial health that you'd be free of poverty and lack. I'm blessing you with flourishing and connection in your relationships because that's another meaning of shalom and arene, which is connection to no longer be separated.
Obviously that would be primarily with God, but now it can mean with your relationships as well, right? With your marriage. So this is the true meaning of what peace is meant to be, which we don't get because we have an English understanding of peace and nobody sits here and tells us every time we see the word, wait, that's not what it means. It means something so much better. So look at what the angels said, glory to God in the highest and on earth.
May there be the ultimate in human flourishing and thriving. May there be the ultimate prosperity in wealth and in health and in your relationships. May they thrive like they never have before for those with whom God is well pleased. That's how you should read Luke two, verse 14.
That right there completely undoes this Christian addiction with negativity that your life is destined to get hard, that God never promised you a good life, that his goal isn't for you to be happy only wholly and build your character while you suffer.
No, it was His will by sending Jesus to the earth to establish Shalom and Harene on the earth again. Because that was lost.
But if you believe your life is supposed to be hard, what you're believing in is that you're still supposed to be under the curse and you're still supposed to be mostly influenced by the work of Satan in your life, even though you were transferred out of his kingdom into the kingdom of the sun and you were given his life, which is the light of men. So when you came into Christ, your body, your spirit, your soul were filled with his light that emanates from you and in the presence
light, no darkness can exist unless you make room for it, unless you give it permission, unless you believe it can exist and even should exist in your life because the end of all things in heaven isn't here yet.
because your authority...
has the ability to allow darkness to continue in your life. And when you put your faith in a negative outcome, and you put your faith in the fact that life is going to be hard, and there is going to be struggle and turmoil, but you get to have God be with you in it, then that's gonna be your experience. I am asking you to please join me in faith for a good life.
And if you think that God doesn't want that, then he shouldn't have allowed President Trump to survive the bullet.
then he shouldn't have even established this nation on day one anyway, because the whole point of this nation was for freedom. Life, liberty, and the pursuit of property was the original wording, but it does mean pursuit of happiness.
If you're right in your negativity, then God was wrong for establishing this nation as a beacon of freedom for the world.
So.
Change your perspective for your own self. Believe for something better. Believe that God wants your life to be good. Believe that Jesus set you free, not just from the punishment for your sinning. And now he set you free so that you have even more guilt every time you do sin. No, believe he set you free from the species that was bound to sin. You died.
You came back to life as a brand new species that doesn't even live under the law anymore. Look at Romans chapter three and four and five and six and seven and eight.
and this new species without the curse of the law, you're under the blessing of obedience. You're under the blessing of his obedience, not even your own. You're under the blessing of faith of Abraham.
You want to know the meaning of peace that God wants in your life. it's over and over and over throughout the word. Read Deuteronomy chapter 28. The blessings of that chapter are the articulation of what his peace means.
I've heard it said, particularly by Lance Wallnau, you should check him out if you don't know who he is.
that Donald Trump is a Cyrus president. God spoke to Lance years ago about how, from that Isaiah 45, he didn't know what that meant. And then he looked it up and it was about Cyrus. And the chapter is about how Cyrus brought freedom to God's people who had been in captivity. And then he said, Trump is the Isaiah 45 president, he's a Cyrus president. Now he's president number 47. If you look at Isaiah chapter 47, it's about the humiliation of Babylon.
I'd like to present to you the possibility that what we are about to embark on as a people is a journey of witnessing the fall of Babylon the Great. Now, some of you out there may understand that reference to Babylon is what is usually talked about as like the end times. There's this end times version of Babylon that, you know, it's this horrible, evil empire that's taking over the world.
Honestly, I believe we've already been under that for a long time, maybe even more than decades, probably centuries.
And rather than the world plummeting towards evil, believe this is the dawn of a new day. You look at Isaiah 45, it says, come down and sit in the dust, daughter of Babylon, sit on the ground without a throne anymore. You shall no more be called tender and delicate.
Your nakedness shall be uncovered. Your disgrace will be seen. I'll take vengeance and spare no one.
It says, shall no more be called the mistress of kingdoms. I was angry with my people. I profaned my heritage. I gave them into your hand. You showed them no mercy. You made your yoke exceedingly heavy. Can you relate with that? Your tax burden, your mortgage burden, your debt burden?
Therefore hear this, you lover of pleasures, Babylon, who sits securely, who say, here I am and there's nobody more powerful than me. These two things shall come to you in a moment. In one day, the loss of children and widowhood shall come upon you in full measure. In spite of your many sorceries and the great power of your enchantments, you felt secure in your wickedness. You said, nobody sees me.
Your wisdom and your knowledge led you astray and you said in your heart, here I am and there is nobody beside me. But evil will come upon you, which you will not know how to charm away. Disaster shall fall upon you for which you will not be able to atone and ruin shall come upon you suddenly of which you know nothing.
This is not about the fall of America. This is not about the fall of China. This is not about the fall of Russia. This is about the fall of the evil force of people who hide in the shadows above governments who thought they could run the world. I cannot guarantee that Isaiah 47 is about to be fulfilled. I would just like to offer it to you as a possibility, gentlemen, that the fall of Babylon that you see
or that Babylon you see in Revelation was already here. But what if God is about to liberate this entire planet? And what if his church is meant to be on the forefront of progress and advance and culture influencers? But if we're too busy sitting here, waiting, sitting on our hands, waiting for the end of the world to come, for us to be swept out of here and...
for us to proclaim God's judgment whenever a natural disaster happens or a man-made disaster happens, we say God's judging that city or God's judging that state. And we wait for Jesus to take us away from the future judgments, then you're going to miss an exciting time. And if you think that your own personal life is destined for evil and not for good, then you're going to be stuck in this place of continual defeat and missing out instead of being unleashed to go and run.
So happy inauguration day, happy re-independence day, happy rebirth of America day, happy flags at full mast day.
