Rick: De regering. De ministers.
Sophie: Oh ja! De koning is er ook.
Rick: Klopt. De koning doet de beëdiging.
Daan: Waar is dat?
Rick: In Den Haag.
Sophie: Ken je Den Haag?
Rick: Ja. Ik kom uit Den Haag.
Daan: Echt waar? Tof!
Rick: Maar ik woon nu in Azië.
Sophie: Mis je Nederland?
Rick: Soms wel. Soms niet.
Daan: Het weer hier is beter.
Rick: Ha! Nee hoor.
Sophie: Terug naar het nieuws.
Rick: Ja, goed idee.
Daan: Dus er zijn nieuwe ministers?
Rick: Ja, precies.
Sophie: Zijn ze goed?
Rick: Ik weet het niet.
Daan: We zien het wel.
Rick: Ja. De tijd vertelt het.
Sophie: Er is nog meer nieuws.
Rick: Ja? Wat dan?
Sophie: Over de ICC.
Daan: Wat is de ICC?
Rick: Een rechtbank.
Sophie: Een internationale rechtbank.
Daan: Ah, oké.
Rick: Ze hebben een zitting.
Sophie: Over wie?
Rick: Over Duterte.
Daan: Ken ik die naam niet.
Rick: Hij is president.
Sophie: Van de Filipijnen.
Daan: Oh ja, nu snap ik het.
Rick: Hij doet slechte dingen.
Sophie: Wat voor dingen?
Rick: Geweld. Veel geweld.
Daan: Dat is erg.
Rick: Ja. Heel erg.
Sophie: Komt hij naar de rechtbank?
Rick: Ik denk het niet.
Daan: Waarom niet?
Rick: Hij wil niet komen.
Sophie: Kan dat zomaar?
Rick: Tja. Dat is het probleem.
Daan: De rechtbank heeft geen macht?
Rick: Niet veel macht, nee.
Sophie: Dat is niet goed.
Rick: Nee. Het is complex.
Daan: Wat gebeurt er nu?
Rick: Ze praten. Ze beslissen.
Sophie: En dan?
Rick: Ik weet het niet precies.
Daan: Het duurt lang, denk ik.
Rick: Ja. Jaren misschien.
Sophie: Pff. Jaren?
Rick: Ja. Rechtbanken zijn traag.
Daan: Dat is waar.
Rick: Maar goed. Het is belangrijk.
Sophie: Ja. Heel belangrijk.
Daan: Justitie moet werken.
Rick: Precies. Voor iedereen.
Sophie: Ook voor presidenten.
Rick: Ja. Niemand staat erboven.
Daan: Zo hoort het.
Rick: Mm-hmm. Klopt.
Sophie: Trouwens. Hoe laat is het?
Daan: Bijna twaalf uur.
Rick: Oh. Al zo laat?
Sophie: Ja. De tijd vliegt.
Daan: Hebben jullie honger?
Rick: Ja. Een beetje wel.
Sophie: Ik ook.
Daan: We gaan eten?
Rick: Goed idee.
Sophie: Waar gaan we heen?
Daan: Ik ken een leuke plek.
