A podcast for nonprofit marketers and communicators using AI to do more with less
Matt Pusateri: I'm gonna
try to read your mind.
You work at a nonprofit in
communications and marketing.
Pretty sure your team isn't big enough.
I'm also pretty sure you don't have the
budget you need to get the results that
your leadership and your managers want.
I'm gonna guess one more thing.
You have way too many
projects on your list.
You have a workload that's too large
for yourself or your team to manage
in any kind of reasonable way.
I've been in nonprofit marketing
for more than twenty years, and
that's been the case at every
single organization I've been.
And every client I've worked
with, that's been the case.
That's the reason many of these
organizations sought consultants
or agencies to begin with.
They don't have the resources they need to
get the job done to serve their mission.
So now in 2026, there's AI, and it's grown
to the point where presidents and seniors
leadership and board think that AI might
be the solution to let them get twice
as much done with half as many people.
Or maybe they think your team is
small, but it can do so much more
now because they've got these tools.
As someone that works every day at a large
nonprofit, managing a team, I can tell you
we're all just trying to figure it out.
And imagine like you, we're trying to
sort out what works, what doesn't, and
how do we get the most out of these tools.
That's what the Good Prompt
Podcast is all about.
Every two weeks, my show is gonna talk
with people in the real world of nonprofit
marketing, people who are using AI to
get work done and serve their missions
in interesting and innovative ways.
I'm gonna be talking with everyone
from designers to fundraisers, to
email marketers, to senior leadership.
Anyone who's doing interesting things
in the nonprofit world with AI and
find out what's working and what isn't,
and are there some new ways we can be
looking at these tools differently.
I also want to say that while we're
going to be looking at ways people
are using AI to help with nonprofit
communications, this is not a pro-AI show.
I'm not selling anything.
We're not trying to market any
particular tools or any services.
And I want to have people on that
have skepticism about AI, people
that have legitimate concerns about
where this technology is taking us.
I want to explore how AI is affecting
anyone in nonprofit that's trying to
get an impact and results done and
whether or not those tools can help them.
