Bryan Wade:We know life doesn't stop moving. It's busy, noisy, and often messy. But even in the middle of it all, God invites us to come close, to rest, to breathe, and to remember who he is. Wherever you find yourself today, know this. God's spirit is with you.
Bryan Wade:So take a deep breath, settle in, and allow his word to meet you right where you are.
Tiffany Parry:The cultural customs and family traditions woven throughout Ruth can seem strange to us in our modern day, but the heart of this story is as relevant as ever. God is able to take care of us. As you reflect on Ruth's courage and action, what words, phrases, or images got your attention? How might God be asking you to take a leap of faith and trust that he can provide? How do you need God's protection or covering today?
Tiffany Parry:Boaz chose to do the right thing, which isn't always the quickest or easiest thing to do. What is God asking of you as you wait on him to move or provide direction in your life? The same God who is at work behind the scenes of Ruth's life is at work in your life. Be encouraged that God's silence is not an indication of his absence. He is working and you can trust him.
Tiffany Parry:Take a few moments and tell God how you see him moving in your life and where you need him to move still. This is your time and he is listening.
