[01:00:00] Craig Carton I welcome back to another edition of the joint venture. Craig Carton, little Wayne Swiss beats owns a camel racing.
[01:00:07] Little Wayne He bought me a camera for my birthday.
[01:00:09] Craig Carton He bought you a camel? When you were away, fans wrote you all the time.
[01:00:13] Little Wayne Over 10,000 pieces of mail a day was a fire hazard in my cell.
[01:00:18] Craig Carton You know him as E from Entourage. Mr. Kevin Connelly. The show was iconic. Like wherever you go, it's always E, E,E.
[01:00:28] Kevin Connolly Nuggie. All of a sudden the guys got me in a headlock and give me a nuggi. I'm like bro I'm 50.
[01:00:34] Craig Carton I welcome back to another edition of the joint venture, Craig Carton, little Wayne. You may have seen that there's that AI Atlas and scientists aren't sure. Is it just a meteor? Is it like a spaceship or whatnot? But apparently they're they're concerned that it might land on the moon, which made me think, is that the first thing to ever land on the moon? I'm a believer that we've never landed on the Moon and bullshit in 69. Me too.
[01:01:02] Little Wayne It was, it was only like the Nixon administration that we've ever even said that we went to that. There's like a certain area in space that that's like, okay, here you cross here, right? Yet now you're in space and it's called something. It's like already.
[01:01:15] Craig Carton It's like a radiation belt. Yeah. Yeah, I know what you mean.
[01:01:19] Little Wayne The only time NASA, whoever's ever said they've ever taken any mission past that belt was during the Nixon administration.
[01:01:25] Craig Carton Which is nonsense.
[01:01:26] Little Wayne Yeah, so that means...
[01:01:27] Craig Carton It's like I've been, I've seen one of the Apollo ships, there's a bunch of them, right? It's on the Intrepid, the boat in New York City, right, and I've see it. And I dare anyone to tell me to come into that boat and see that Apollo capsule. If you think that thing made out of styrofoam and duct tape made it to the moon and back.
[01:01:48] Little Wayne Dude, I got a bridge to sell you. The only thing is, it ain't about, I don't believe that we didn't go to the moon. I believe that they've been to the Moon. But I believe when we got the homies over here from Germany on that big flight with all those doctors, like 150 of them came over here. I believe the homie who was supposed to help us got to the Moons. But he had already went to the moons with the homis. So why would he want to go to same place? Why would you go back? Yeah, and he also wrote a book in like the 40s after you listen about going to Mars
[01:02:18] Craig Carton Right, which is the next place they want to go.
[01:02:19] Little Wayne About the atmosphere and about how the atmosphere would be almost Earth-like. And so, of course, we way over here, so we don't believe that. We think Mars is the hottest planet, you're gonna burn, whatever, whatever. And he said no. You saw that new picture that came out?
[01:02:35] Craig Carton Other one of Mars?
[01:02:36] Little Wayne What to do with
[01:02:36] Craig Carton Yeah, they got the little, there's like the one with the fly in it.
[01:02:40] Little Wayne No, man. I didn't see it then. What was it? So, you know, NASA has a channel that you can like watch all day as a viewer. So they made a report that whatever thing is a probe that we landed on Mars had a malfunction. They need to fix it. That was reported. Someone got popular for hacking them and hacking like them and like other major probably political stuff. He was like a big hacker, dude. One of those things he hacked, he released, it was a picture. Okay, it's a clear picture of the probe It's a shadow and the shadow is beautiful as day of a person Fixing come probe. He don't have no Right y'all said there's a malfunction with this thing and it's the shadow of someone fixing this thing
[01:03:32] Craig Carton That's crazy.
[01:03:33] Little Wayne You get what I'm saying?
[01:03:33] Craig Carton It kind of makes me think that thing is not a horror.
[01:03:36] Little Wayne We also know that this hacker dude has happened to like way bigger stuff than them. Right. And he hacked them and he released, he released everything he was able to release. I gotta go see that.
[01:03:46] Craig Carton See that it makes me think that we don't have a rover on Mars. It makes me think that
[01:03:50] Little Wayne online
[01:03:51] Craig Carton or the other side. We either never win or this dude's livin' it.
[01:03:54] Little Wayne You know, they gotta go there first and make sure it's straight, take over first. There was always a thing told to me, someone told me like, you know what the world is going to end today, right? Right. And if you and I, we got this knowledge of how to make it through it. Right. And when it's all over, smoke clears, we come out, and it's just you and me and the brand new world, whoever new insect, animal, person, what would we say go? That's right. You get what I'm saying? So we made this place. Right. We built it with our hands, man. Yeah, man, we did this. Be the kings. Yeah, so they're doing that up there right now. So when we get there.
[01:04:33] Craig Carton So when we get there, so when we have to go there, they be like, yeah, so we've been here already.
[01:04:39] Little Wayne It is how it is go out here.
[01:04:40] Craig Carton Now I got to check that out. I didn't see that story, but it's the same thing as the moon.
[01:04:44] Little Wayne Yeah, I hope not
[01:04:46] Craig Carton Cause here's what they say. They say that we haven't been there since 73. And one of the claims is we don't have the technology to get through that radiation belt, but we had it in 73.
[01:04:59] Little Wayne Now but what that said they built the pyramids a trillion years ago. We can't do that today, too So we cannot have the technology to do it
[01:05:07] Craig Carton One of the guys out in the back was telling me today and I guess I could look it up. I'm not going to fact check it because I got other things to do that there's been more time between Cleopatra and us than Cleopat and the pyramid something like that. Like the pyramids like millions of years old and we can't figure out how to build them.
[01:05:26] Little Wayne You know, they found out it was older, but you know, there have been had scientists and experts telling us, going against other scientists, saying that it's way older than you say it is. But they found the proof because they had to do a water erosion. There was a water on the bottom of the sphinx.
[01:05:42] Craig Carton So they think it used to be like a big ocean, a river or something.
[01:05:45] Little Wayne No, so the person who was working on the water erosion, you know, water erosion exposes how long anything has been anywhere. It had clearly showed that it's over 10,000 years more than we've been told. So over 10 thousand years. That was like before we even knew there was an earth or something. It was like, it's crazy.
[01:06:03] Craig Carton You know what? I love all those conspiracy theories. There's a lot of shit that went on that we have no idea about. That's why they say that. Mars was the first Earth.
[01:06:12] Little Wayne It might have been. You know, they got the three pyramids and the Sphinx on Mars and the same.
[01:06:17] Craig Carton Like set up. Yes. I don't know what books you're reading. I gotta start reading
[01:06:22] Little Wayne I don't believe folks, that's the best part about it. I see it again. Yeah, I gotta show you guys.
[01:06:28] Craig Carton All right. So you never was going to stop by the couch and hang out. You know, as E from Entourage, I think he's done some other things as well. But we're going to find out right now. Mr. Kevin Connelly, what's this? And this is 45 years. How are you?
[01:06:42] Kevin Connolly Right, yes. I'm good.
[01:06:44] Craig Carton I'm surprised and maybe I missed it Wayne was never in an entourage episode. We just kind of messed up
[01:06:50] Kevin Connolly He probably said no.
[01:06:52] Craig Carton Would be my guess. Did you say no? No.
[01:06:55] Little Wayne I asked him here.
[01:06:57] Craig Carton He would have said yes. He was a big fan of OZ. I wasn't, I would have said yes, but nobody.
[01:07:03] Little Wayne Actually, that's something crazy, I was a big fan. He was the, you got an instance on the Beverly Hillbillies, right?
[01:07:10] Craig Carton Beverly Hillbillies. I didn't even know that. Mm-hmm.
[01:07:13] Little Wayne My grandma don't make me watch it, so you know you have to watch something, the only thing you can do is try to relate to the youngest person you see on the show, you know what I mean? So I was like, that's kind of cool.
[01:07:24] Kevin Connolly You were the kid on Beverly Hillbillies. I was 18 or 19. You're old. How old are you? I'm the same age as Pat Morita was. A Karate Kid. It's a true story. I am the same that Pat Morida was during Karate kid. Is that right? Yeah. Right. That's crazy.
[01:07:40] Craig Carton And you watched him when you were a kid. That's awesome. That was a big
[01:07:43] Kevin Connolly That was a big deal at the time. People never the hillbillies. I mean, it was like, well, for me to get the job, it was a was a bit worse. I got audition acting. Rocky five childhood. I was a child actor, but the first movie was Rocky five. I was in the one where he loses all his money. He goes back and I beat up the kid. I beat this kid up. I was like this alone. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[01:08:03] Craig Carton And so we just wake up one day, like in first grade and say, Mom, Dad, I want to be an actor. I'm not darker than that. It's darker. No, that's Rocky IV. That's maybe the best boxing movie of all time. When Rocky does that speech at the end, if you can get along and I can get long.
[01:08:22] Little Wayne If I could change that, you could change the speech. Anyone remember from that episode? I mean, that one is if he dies, he dies. If he dies? He dies. Powerful word. So was the lady Nielsen. Bridget Nielson. Yeah, she was in a Balenciaga fashion show recently, probably like a year or two ago. Right. I'd never been to one, but it was my first fashion show I ever been to. Never been to another one, actually. But she was it, and it was outside. Just out on a real city block so it kind of just look like people walking down the street actually that's how the fashion show look like but when she passed i didn't know you got to be a etiquette prophet so when she I said if he
[01:09:02] Craig Carton He dies, he dies. You stopped the fashion show. She's big too. She's a six-
[01:09:11] Kevin Connolly She's big, too. She's a 6'1", 6'2". Yeah, which I think is uncomfortable. You crazy.
[01:09:16] Craig Carton Like, I don't know if you guys have ever dated or hooked up with never bothered me. I didn't know I was short so much later in life. But it's like, it's uncomfortable, isn't it? Like
[01:09:24] Little Wayne I've never, I can't relate, so I wouldn't know.
[01:09:26] Craig Carton Right. You never like a six foot, two inch woman because it's emasculating. It was never like a thing. Like I don't want to have to step on my tippy toes to dance because it makes me look bad. Right.
[01:09:37] Little Wayne Can I have a hit of that joint? Yeah, of course. Oh, okay. Sorry, I didn't want to ask. I've talked to people that's taught, but we've never did anything, but I've all, you know, it wasn't a problem being present with them. No. It's an awkward look. I wouldn't walk down the street with them, but- That's what I'm saying. I've walked down the streets with them before the movie was on. I think it was Deuce Bigalow when he had to talk with you. That's a huge-
[01:09:57] Craig Carton That's a huge bitch. Every scene, the court. And you never saw her face because she's so tall. So Kevin just did some. I messed some up with Wayne a few months back. We were in New York City. Wayne was doing SNL 50. And he's like, why don't you swing by the suite and smoke a J with me? Right. I'm like, done. Right. I'm, like, honey, guess what? I'm staying in the city. I'm packing a bag. All good. So I go into his suite and. I didn't know the protocol, Kevin. We talked for hours. We talked two hours about everything and nothing at all. He never thought Sam would hit that? And he's like, yo, I gotta go. I'm like, well, good seeing you.
[01:10:32] Kevin Connolly He left you.
[01:10:33] Craig Carton Yeah, here we go! Right? And I leave, I was so upset at myself because we didn't smoke together, and there was plenty of weed to smoke, right?
[01:10:40] Little Wayne I'm thinking to myself, I'm like, cause on the show he would always mention how to eat animals. Yep. So I said to myself after he left, I said, well, he must only eat animals, he must not swallow. He loaded up on animals, right? Yeah, I was like saying, Or he, he.
[01:10:53] Craig Carton He might be on probation. I Called him a week or two later. I said man I messed up like we didn't smoke together and he goes yeah, he goes I thought maybe there was like a judge said you couldn't smoke with court order And I was like, I don't want to be you know forward and just take your weed I thought you were gonna offer it because man the weeds there to be smoked. Yeah, so I'm gonna do with you now All right, if you don't mind my goodness Are you going to be okay? What happened? Is this going to? It's going to take off. All right. You're going to.
[01:11:22] Little Wayne That's right, you're gonna sleep though. When you left the room, I was just like... Alright, whatever. That's it?
[01:11:30] Craig Carton Anyway, so.
[01:11:32] Kevin Connolly I'm going to take a story by Kevin.
[01:11:34] Craig Carton So, Kevin, in addition to being this great actor and, you know, obviously, it's one of the great shows of all time, which is crazy. Because you can also become a prisoner of success, right? Like, wherever you go, it is always E.
[01:11:45] Kevin Connolly Yeah, I mean, yeah, listen, there's worse things, right? There's worse thing. But yeah, sometimes.
[01:11:49] Craig Carton Sometimes it's hard to get out of it. I can do it without a headlock. Because people see you in their big thing, Entourage, which is awesome that they do because the show was iconic. But it's like with musicians, like I remember talking once to Bon Jovi, like Bon Jovis put out a country album. Nobody wanted to hear it. They want to hear Slippery Went Wet. I'm sure at some level you've experienced it. You're like, I don't want to play Millie again. Like, I got new stuff I want you to hear.
[01:12:11] Little Wayne Different type of album and they damn sure didn't want to hear it. Right. They want to hear the songs they know. They wanna hear what they want, yeah.
[01:12:16] Craig Carton And then you could become a prisoner of your success.
[01:12:19] Kevin Connolly Listen, I'll play along to a certain extent, right? Like, yeah, yeah they call me, hey, but like, I don't need a noogie, right, like. All of a sudden the guys got me in a headlock and they give me a noogie, I'm like, bro, I am 50.
[01:12:33] Craig Carton But in addition to being an outpat marina he directed he's gonna be mad at me for bringing this up Yeah, he directed Gotti. Yeah, the John I want that one movie about the god Yeah, directed. Yeah. So he calls me stuff, right?
[01:12:49] Kevin Connolly By the way, you know, Ben, I had 10 tickets to the premiere, I took one person, I took Craig.
[01:12:54] Craig Carton So he's like, listen, I have to go to the premiere. It's part of my contract. Now I just got in trouble and arrested the whole thing. You were like, I don't want to go anywhere in the middle of it. And he goes, no, this week, everybody's in trouble. So I meet him outside the theater, right? And I'm like, this is a good friend. So I'm going to do right by myself. Said it because, you know, New York City, I'm well known. People like your card, you got any picks on those games? You got tickets to sell me that kind of nonsense. So we go in now you have to remember it's Gotti. So everyone in the theater is somehow connected to the Gotti family. So he introduced me to John Junior all right and they're big sports fans some of them. Yeah well they don't those.
[01:13:35] Kevin Connolly Those guys have to know who they are.
[01:13:37] Craig Carton I will never forget this as long as I live. John Gotti Jr. Says to me, I've been reading about you, I know what's going on. He goes, tonight you should take it easy. I'm like, in my head I'm going, no, I can't take it easy. He goes you're not the only guy in this room under federal endowment. I'm, like, I feel so much better now.
[01:13:57] Kevin Connolly I remember standing on the stage, and I can remember looking directly into the crowd. You in an empty seat, I'm like, that's my guy. That's the only guy here. I was afraid to invite my family, not that I was thinking, I knew you could handle yourself. I didn't like that at all.
[01:14:19] Craig Carton Yeah, when you do a movie like that, like you've did the does the Gotti family say, yo, we got notes? Yeah, they got a lot of notes. Like we don't like the way you portrayed this guy or that scene. Like, yeah.
[01:14:30] Kevin Connolly And you're like, why doesn't Tony have hair? Why doesn't tony have hair, I'm like, ask him, ask the actor, I don't know what it is. Yeah, they wanted everybody to look exactly alike.
[01:14:41] Craig Carton I would imagine that too, yeah. It's the wildest thing I've ever, like there are some stereotypes I guess that live out in real life. That's what.
[01:14:48] Kevin Connolly No, they know the real guys, so they know the real guy, the real had hair, and then the new guy doesn't, you know, that's all they see, but like, you know, Henry Hill wasn't Ray Liotta. Ray Lietta was a lot, what? Craig, you didn't know that? What? It's true, they make these, I mean, like, listen, if you need to look at Wolf of Wall Street, I mean Jordan Belfort's a nice guy, but, like. Doesn't look anything like Leonardo DiCaprio, is there? Or if he.
[01:15:10] Craig Carton Is not.
[01:15:11] Kevin Connolly That, you know?
[01:15:12] Craig Carton So one day, Kevin used to fill in on the radio when my partner Boomer was out and I would call him a lot. He's a New York guy loves talking sports. So I was concerned that when he came out, like you need a wake up call for him, right? He's like, No, my buddies are probably getting back from the bars right about that time. I'll bill call me wake me up. I go, Well, if you need me to call you, like, I'll call you. And I go Do you need to place a stake and crash at my place if you need it. He goes, No I got a buddy has an apartment downtown. My god, great. I got you sure you don't need to He goes, no, my buddy's got his assistant. He's going to call me every five minutes on the hour to make sure I wake up. Right. And I go. And he's like, nonchalant about it. And I'm like, that's a really good friend to have his assistant reach out to call. He goes, yeah, well, he was a pretty good guy. Excuse me. Yeah. You know what else? Because I'm staying at the Caprio's apartment downtown Manhattan. He has his assistant calling me. He wants to make sure I show up with you.
[01:16:03] Kevin Connolly He wants to make sure I show up because he wants to watch the show. They'll wake me up. I'm easy. Just give me a little light knock. Remember what else happened that day? That was the day. Laying in bed, getting ready to go to sleep, and the deflated footballs things happened. Was that a day? Boomer, Asaius, who is the quarterback. Yeah. The Hall of Fame quarterback on the show is out of town. Yeah, he did that a lot. And then the quarterback could talk deflated footballs, and I was like, no, but... I love hockey. What are you guys going to talk about? I'm a Dolphins fan. Two Islanders talk. You know what else you did? You know, what else he did? I don't. I was going to have Russell Wilson call in. Right.
[01:16:40] Craig Carton And I said, no.
[01:16:41] Kevin Connolly Because it was before the deflated football thing. And Craig went, is this guy a friend of yours? I was like, he said, is there a relationship here? I said, yeah. And he said tell him to not call in. Now he's telling the defending quarterback champion at the time to not to call in, I was he's like, I'd lose my job for not asking him about the defated footballs the day after.
[01:17:02] Craig Carton Was there a story like, didn't he get hurt on the entourage set? No, he broke my, no he broke mine, no, he break mine.
[01:17:07] Kevin Connolly Oh, you got hurt he through the errand to pass Russell Wilson Well, he was in the movies playing himself and we were doing a fake play But you know don't tell that to a bunch of actors, right? We think we're playing in the Super Bowl and I broke I did I broke my leg on like Dave Four or five of 30 so I had a broken leg the whole time is awful
[01:17:30] Craig Carton I felt bad. Russell Wilson broke his leg. Well, no. Right? I broke my leg. Broke his leg, see? He was there. He was like Greg Jennings in Madden. He was. Look at Greg Jenning on a broken leg, but I do it for Madden, oh no, here comes Darren Sharper, the hardest hidden safety in the league.
[01:17:49] Kevin Connolly On this day, they had, over the course of these four days, there was like 200 people flying in for cameos. And it was like Tyson. I mean, just everybody that you could name, Brady, Edelman, Gronk, everybody was there. And on day one, 10.30 in the morning, I'm laying with my face in the sand. I knew it was broken. I was like, oh man, I'm gonna have to run it out. You're a troubadour, you fought through that, though. There was like a guest house. They just like, yo, just bury him. Place where no one will ever see him again. They stuck me in some guest house. I was like in this thing and I had like my leg elevated. I knew we were in bad shape. And the only people, cause it was a couple hundred yards out of the way. And I'm a lifelong like Dolphins fan. Like I was born to hate the Patriots. And the people that stopped by at the end of the day were Brady, Edelman, and Kronk.
[01:18:40] Craig Carton And Ross. So you had to like, I actually respect all of us. I like might have a hand in
[01:18:44] Kevin Connolly Well, Russell might have had a hand in it. But the other guys went out of their way, these guys went outta their way to come in and say.
[01:18:49] Craig Carton How'd you get the entourage job like we you wanted 25 dudes and you got a call like you got her?
[01:18:55] Kevin Connolly Um, no, they made me they they've you know, forced me to you know mark I had known a little bit, you know He was around him and his you know him mark work Yeah, well, we're in his buddies were like be over here and like me my buddies were over here But they were always we felt better when they were there because they would protect us to assert
[01:19:12] Little Wayne I don't know, Mark, Mark gonna live a long time. I was talking about Mark today. Yeah. Yeah. I was telling somebody, you know, I'm trying to, they didn't believe that he was a rapper. Oh yeah, at the funky lunch. Yeah, I had to, I was explaining it, they was like, get out of here. I'm like, nah, for real.
[01:19:27] Kevin Connolly He had a couple hits on him.
[01:19:28] Little Wayne Yeah, they didn't believe it. He opened a rabbit. I went down didn't think a whole bunch of people I had to start talking a whole lot of people. It was like I like run DMC Reverend run
[01:19:38] Craig Carton There are people that didn't know Run DMC?
[01:19:41] Little Wayne This is you.
[01:19:43] Kevin Connolly That's why I stopped being Gilligan for Halloween. I was Gilliganing for 15 years and one night I was like, yeah, that's it, man. I can't. Because people are like, who are you? I'm just a teen in a red shirt. A weird white hat and a red t-shirt. You're the little buddy. 15 years. By the way, the late 90s, great costume. That was it. When did you guys know he was a hit?
[01:20:06] Craig Carton Like, was it right away?
[01:20:08] Kevin Connolly Yeah, I mean, like for me it was, it was it felt kind of quick, but you know, it was, uh,
[01:20:14] Craig Carton summer like you know like when you do a song you know when you're done recording that's gonna be a hit
[01:20:18] Little Wayne Yeah, yeah, I mean, you know, you don't you want to feel that way about everything But it actually takes someone else You know someone else's ear to say outside you're gonna hear it And that wasn't even a part of it and hear it and you see that reaction You want to believe that that's going to be the majority reaction, right?
[01:20:34] Kevin Connolly And how often do you go, this is the song that everybody's gonna love, and then everybody loves another song, and you're like, all right, it's still your song, right? But it's just a different song that.
[01:20:45] Little Wayne A lot, so because of it, I don't pick any of my songs or my singles and nothing like that. I leave it to...
[01:20:53] Kevin Connolly But in the back of your head, you're like, this is the one. And then you're, like, oh, shit.
[01:20:56] Little Wayne Yeah, I do. I'd be surprised at times that they end up enjoying, yeah. Really? It surprises you sometimes? Yeah, but it makes me also respect and be a maturity of myself, of the knowledge of a fan.
[01:21:09] Craig Carton Right. Yeah. Because you have to see it that way. Yeah. They're the most important people because they got to buy this stuff, right?
[01:21:16] Little Wayne And then you get a message from someone and it'd be exactly about what your little subliminal message was. They'd get it on the phone. You'd be like, wow, you actually really did understand. Okay, I appreciate it.
[01:21:26] Kevin Connolly There you go. I directed a music video for the game in Nioh, and it was wild, man. How do we get it? It was called Camerophone, by the way. Dare you say it before it's time. Camerphone. Everybody's got a camera phone now, but it was the game and Nio, and you know, the game, he's like a legit dude, bro. He's a dominant figure. And he said, we're shooting up in the club on La Cienega. It's now Zouk or whatever it is. And we're sitting there. It's early, bro. It's like 9, 30, 10 o'clock in the morning. Everybody's smoking weed. And Chug Knight is sitting in a few rows behind the monitor. And I was like, oh, man. He gave me heat. I spoke very few words.
[01:22:16] Craig Carton You fancy she's like, nah.
[01:22:17] Kevin Connolly No, no, no. He just does that. Don't worry about it.
[01:22:19] Craig Carton He's fine
[01:22:20] Kevin Connolly I was like...
[01:22:20] Craig Carton What was more difficult than shooting out of the goddess? Sure.
[01:22:24] Kevin Connolly I get it. I get the guys. The guys had their own monitor. These guys, at least they had their own. They had their own monitor, they would do shit. I mean, you know, it goes like you set up lighting shit, right? So they're like, okay, with the barber chair, fucking barber chair gives you shit, the barber chairs on the corner. They've spent hours lighting specifically, you know, Travolta, that's whatever period piece they're lighting Travolto, we show up and The barber chair's gone after lighting for two hours. Like, what happened? Like, no, that's not where the barber chair was. I'm like, who moved that chair?
[01:23:02] Craig Carton Yeah.
[01:23:03] Kevin Connolly Answer to that because you're not moving the back. Yeah, it wasn't me. It wasn't me. They would move the stuff around, but they were also nice too, right? So every time you're like ready to go, they would be like, hey, you know.
[01:23:16] Craig Carton Did you ever pass on big role that you like shoot I shouldn't have passed on that that someone else didn't it was like a big success
[01:23:23] Kevin Connolly No, I've come close on a couple, I come close on a few that, you know, it's like there's no second place. It's not a race, right? Like you end up in a bucket and they're like, okay, is it this kid, we like this, you like this or that about a person, but it's not like a competition. So it's all like, oh, if that person happened, I was the second, it sounds like a second choice. You're, you're the guesser of who they were.
[01:23:47] Little Wayne We do in sports when he was him now if he was on this team, right?
[01:23:53] Craig Carton Patrick Holmes was on the scene, so he wouldn't have won a single single
[01:23:54] Little Wayne He wouldn't have wanted to sing a super ball, I'd do it all the time.
[01:23:57] Craig Carton That's my bread and butter. If Dan Marino had that offensive play. If Joe Montana stunk. Steve Young was terrible with Tampa. You put him on a good team, he becomes a Hall of Famer.
[01:24:07] Little Wayne Mr. Young was great, man, you crazy.
[01:24:09] Craig Carton In Tampa, he wasn't great. You put him with Bill Walsh.
[01:24:14] Little Wayne You give him Jerry Rice. That was the creamsicle temper. Yes. That was when they sucked. They were terrible. Yeah.
[01:24:20] Craig Carton And Steve Young was on a bad team. On that team?
[01:24:22] Little Wayne On that team, yeah.
[01:24:23] Craig Carton Yeah, it's kind of like Alvin Kamara. Alvin is one of the great running backs in football. And he's being wasted on a shitty team.
[01:24:29] Little Wayne If you take him off, if you take
[01:24:31] Kevin Connolly Take him off that, if you take him off of that team, you see.
[01:24:33] Little Wayne I think he is. I think he's help. I think he's.
[01:24:37] Craig Carton I think Alvin Kamar and the right team will go down as one of the 10 greatest running backs of all time.
[01:24:41] Little Wayne Of how you play. Yep, he helped the Bucks.
[01:24:44] Craig Carton I think you put him on Tampa today, he's a rock star anyway, but his career, and this happens a lot in sports, his career gets lost. He's a Hall of Famer. He'll be a first about Hall of Famer, but he's not gonna win a Super Bowl, most likely, unless maybe he goes somewhere late, and because of the position he plays, you're done when you're 30. There's no 40-year-old running backs in football. You can't student to violin a position.
[01:25:10] Little Wayne We was just talking about the Honey Badger retired. I thought he retired early, till I saw his age and they had to remind me. They was like, nah man, they retired on $32. You know what I'm saying?
[01:25:20] Craig Carton Which is why guys hang on as long as they can because imagine a lot of them make enough money where they're cool the rest of their lives. But can you imagine if you were forced into retirement at 35 and you're done, done now, guys, they make enough money where that should be good. But dudes in the 70s, 80s, even into the 90s, these guys got your jobs.
[01:25:40] Little Wayne I was watching Bobby Abel was on the show at least a quarterback for the Saints.
[01:25:45] Craig Carton He's a legend.
[01:25:45] Little Wayne Yeah, his son is a hostess hostess or FS1 wake up first
[01:25:51] Craig Carton Okay. Oh, that's his son? I didn't know that. T-Bob.
[01:25:53] Little Wayne I didn't know till that episode. I'm watching the episode and I'm just like, what's Tommy Ava's doing on the show? Going to commercial, you just hear, who that? I'm like, what the hell is Bobby? I was Googling it. Like, what? That's his son? It's crazy. I watched the whole episode after that. All right.
[01:26:12] Kevin Connolly Now, you know, you wanted to ask you guys, I was like, whatever, there's a lot going on. Yeah. Put brainless together. But were you guys talking about the moon?
[01:26:20] Craig Carton Yeah, we landed on a moon. You're trying to figure it out. We both, Wayne and I both agree, we did not land on the moon. You agree or you don't believe? You're unsure. I do not believe that we landed on the Moon in 1969.
[01:26:33] Little Wayne I agree with that belief, but I do believe that someone landed on it, just not us.
[01:26:38] Kevin Connolly Do you agree that Tom Brady cloned his dog?
[01:26:41] Little Wayne I do.
[01:26:42] Kevin Connolly We could do that. Then we can't land on the moon. No, seven dogs. But have you?
[01:26:47] Little Wayne Ever. I missed that. What's the
[01:26:53] Kevin Connolly He's a thousand years old!
[01:26:54] Little Wayne What you ever saw to do that would catch them, like nowadays, obviously not nowadays but you know in more recent times, he would catch them. As one kid he would always catch them like coming out of somewhere public.
[01:27:07] Craig Carton Yeah, and he's like, swear on a Bible.
[01:27:09] Little Wayne They would not put their hand on that bike
[01:27:14] Craig Carton Buzz Aldrin was, Buzz Aldri-
[01:27:17] Little Wayne I'm sorry, if you walked up to me and said... No, no, no. I get the point. Swino Bible, your mama name ain't your mama. Your mama name's Deceder. That's my mama, dawg.
[01:27:26] Little Wayne Come on, let's go.
[01:27:27] Kevin Connolly That's all. That's how I know. Have you ever heard the good luck, Mr. Gorski? Am I crazy if you guys not heard this? I've heard that. I've heard that too. Scotty, get the Google ready. Or the chat-cheap BTA, whatever it is you kids do today. Good luck, Mr. Gorsky. By the way, your boys asked me to wear this fucking space costume. Yeah, because we're going to do a movie. Can I have it? What would make you think I would wear? I just think this would be a good- Because we're talking about the moon being ashen up! You think I would put this fucking helmet on my head for like 100%?
[01:28:00] Craig Carton Do it for the podcast! I'll put it on, I'll walk in the mirror now!
[01:28:05] Little Wayne There we go, there we go!
[01:28:12] Kevin Connolly There we go.
[01:28:15] Craig Carton And welcome.
[01:28:16] Little Wayne Proof that man has walked on the moon.
[01:28:19] Craig Carton See he's a producer so you do think we landed in 69
[01:28:22] Kevin Connolly You're buying that? I'm saying, Mike, come on, man. You know how many people are involved in that kind of thing?
[01:28:29] Little Wayne You do know that, to get to the moon, there's this thing up in space called the something belt. Some sphere, some layer.
[01:28:41] Craig Carton You're Ryan.
[01:28:42] Little Wayne You're right. No, not not not that one. No
[01:28:44] Craig Carton It's a radiation belt. A Ryan's belt? Yeah, that was men in black.
[01:28:49] Kevin Connolly Oh Ryan's belt is a constellation you blabbered about
[01:28:55] Little Wayne But that we haven't been passed. We haven't had a space mission or whatever that that went past that belt since the Nixon administration. What do you mean to tell me?
[01:29:06] Kevin Connolly How about that? Same administration now.
[01:29:09] Little Wayne I didn't know I did say that though. I did see that though cuz he has a he has different He has stories of you know he has his own little stories about
[01:29:17] Kevin Connolly Oh, next!
[01:29:18] Little Wayne Yeah, so I was like maybe I don't know he probably was the only one that had contact with them folks up there You don't want I got a relationship
[01:29:28] Kevin Connolly I could've been one of them. I could see the Nixon. Forget about him!
[01:29:30] Little Wayne You never heard that he was, I think he was best friends with Gleason from The Honeymooners. Yeah, and Jackie Gleeson was into that, like he was well known to be into like UFO stuff. I think his whole house was like, made like a spaceship. He was cool with Nixon, I guess. They would hang or whatever. So he says that he goes out with him one night and they have it up and he drops Nixon drops him off say Nixon calls him an hour or so late and said, come outside. And he said, when he comes outside, he's like, he knows something different. There's no extra security, he's the president. He's like I don't see, he says he's just one limo. So he's, like, I don't see the, so he's come on, you into this, you so into it, I'ma show you something. And say, supposedly they went to that house that I'm saying Mr. Gleason supposedly had, I think it was in Florida somewhere, and I think we have a base there, something like that. So he took him to that bay supposedly, and supposedly showed him like the remains of Roswell, and actually supposedly showed them the last, the icing on the cake was he supposedly showed him actual remains of an alien. Mr. Gleason went back home, told his wife, his wife told a friend, and they got out. There you go.
[01:30:44] Kevin Connolly You believe that, but you don't believe you landed on the moon. No, because- No, no, it's-
[01:30:47] Little Wayne No, I was giving you, I'm giving you some proof.
[01:30:52] Craig Carton I think Martians have been here. I just don't think we've been there. Good luck. Oh, we've in there Pardon me. We have been there
[01:30:58] Little Wayne Ah!
[01:30:59] Kevin Connolly Hold on, we gotta finish the coursey story. So the kid is in his backyard, they're playing wiffle ball or whatever it is, the ball keeps going over the fence. Okay. Okay, so there's some bickering between the neighbors. Long story short, the kid has to go over to get the ball and he hears the wife say to the husband something about a bloke, but she said, yeah, when little Johnny next door walks on the moon. And then on the microphone, when he landed on the moon in his first steps, he said, good luck, Mr. Gorski.
[01:31:31] Little Wayne Wow
[01:31:34] Kevin Connolly You gotta go to the moon so I'll have to go through wait for the kid
[01:31:37] Craig Carton Wow, wait for the kid next door. Maybe find someone else. It's true.
[01:31:41] Kevin Connolly Something like that. That's what they said. All right.
[01:31:43] Craig Carton Before we get out of here, very popular segment on the show. All right, here we go. In honor of Wayne's favorite football team that is not gonna win a Super Bowl again this year, the Green Bay Packers, because apparently they need a quarterback. That's Wayne's words, not mine? I didn't say that. I didn't say that, but. We've got a cheese head. And inside the cheese head, and we do this all the time, if you have questions for me and Wayne or any of our guests, you email them to us and we read a select number of them, okay? So these are the questions I came in from last week's show. Besides turkey, what's the one thing you have to have on your Thanksgiving table? Stuffing. Stuffing for you?
[01:32:22] Little Wayne GUMBO
[01:32:24] Craig Carton gumbo. His mom makes the best gumbo, by the way. That's a fact. I'm on Stove Top. I made my stuffing. Yeah, it's weird. I grew up a little differently. Stove top stuffing is a great stuffing.
[01:32:34] Kevin Connolly Yeah, thank you for all this stuff. Yeah, by the way, can you aim a second stop at me? No, you need to make me feel better. No, I need to feel better, I'm fine.
[01:32:40] Craig Carton Is there a backup stuffing you can name?
[01:32:42] Kevin Connolly Somebody will make something, but stuffing is always the go-to.
[01:32:45] Craig Carton We always have a...
[01:32:47] Little Wayne It's gotta be right too, the stuffing has to be right, it'll mess everything up.
[01:32:52] Craig Carton That's a New Orleans Thanksgiving right there. All right question number two. Oh, this is a good one What's the dumbest thing you ever spent money on after one o'clock in the morning?
[01:33:03] Kevin Connolly Spray tan machine
[01:33:04] Craig Carton You bought the machine? I did.
[01:33:07] Kevin Connolly Yeah. I still have it. No, I had to throw it away. Did it work? Yeah, it worked. I spray tinned a bunch of people. It was bad. I got rid of it. You had like spray tan parties? After parties. Yeah, not on purpose. You're gonna meet girls, I guess.
[01:33:20] Craig Carton You got an answer to that one? That's it.
[01:33:22] Little Wayne My name is always any restaurant that's a 24-hour restaurant that I would have to buy the food from that late because I never eat it. Got it. It's like you always fool yourself right before that hour that you're starving And when you sit down and look at what it is I'll be okay I might eat a fry or two
[01:33:44] Craig Carton I once spent money on a teal on a dog race at three o'clock in the morning and to this day I don't know if the dogs existed or if they were racing but I know I lost my money.
[01:33:52] Little Wayne Oh, I thought you was at the race.
[01:33:54] Craig Carton I was not at the race, it was online.
[01:33:56] Little Wayne All right, here's another one. The episode of those camel races.
[01:33:59] Craig Carton I have seen those, I would have bet on them back in the day.
[01:34:02] Little Wayne Swiss Swiss heavy into them. Is that right? Yeah Have you bought your cow he has his own camel recently I can ride count us where out there like in Saudi Arabia
[01:34:17] Craig Carton Swizzbeatz owns a camel racing league? Yes! You have a team. You own camels. And there's a camel named after you, or what is it?
[01:34:23] Little Wayne He bought me one for my birthday. I named it toe pro. He's got a stall Pro
[01:34:31] Craig Carton Has it won a race?
[01:34:33] Little Wayne Now this, um, real shit, man, Swiss-Headed Man FaceTimed me like a real sheik or something. I don't know, he's like, yeah, Lil Wayne. Like your guy, the trainer guy. I ain't ever talk pro. I mean, this is gonna camel-pick you. Like, I'm never, we're gonna get him right and ready for you and ready to race, or he ain't ready to rachet.
[01:34:50] Kevin Connolly He's not ready yet? Yeah, but they gave him... Really? That must be a good camel though. There's no way they just gave him some regular camels. That was crazy. Right? He's... Of course, he's gotta have good camels too.
[01:35:01] Little Wayne He bought you a camera for my birthday because I would always joke with him about this whole ordeal that you are into camel racing.
[01:35:10] Craig Carton We're gonna have to have him on the show to talk about that. Yeah, he would love.
[01:35:14] Little Wayne And at least the kids is like, it's OK. He bought me a jacket. I'll wear the jacket when he come on, because it says the name of the league.
[01:35:21] Craig Carton Honor that's crazy. Yeah, give you crazy shit
[01:35:25] Little Wayne Yeah, so listen to that.
[01:35:26] Craig Carton Like, how do you think you woke up and said, I'm going to get into Camry, Switzerland, and get involved?
[01:35:29] Little Wayne I wanna get involved, I wanna get involved.
[01:35:34] Craig Carton Sorry, Raven.
[01:35:34] Little Wayne I won't say I don't get it wrong. Okay, he's not at least. Yeah, that's his people
[01:35:39] Craig Carton I love that's a great story. All right, next question. Here we go. Can you explain what six seven is?
[01:35:45] Little Wayne I can it's it's a one of my singles. It's called six foot seven foot. It's a great song. Check it out
[01:35:51] Craig Carton Haha, I thought it was the metal ball, but okay, okay.
[01:35:53] Little Wayne You're crazy, man.
[01:35:56] Craig Carton So you know what it is?
[01:35:56] Little Wayne I don't actually yeah, but what is it for real?
[01:36:00] Craig Carton It's all these kids have a thing. I don't think it means anything.
[01:36:02] Little Wayne No it does. I was told because I have kids and I actually schooled on it actually. That's why I asked them because I was schooled on it like a devil.
[01:36:10] Craig Carton What'd they tell you?
[01:36:11] Little Wayne It's a, don't know the artist, it's an artist, a younger artist, he has a song, and on the song, he says, I'll put you six, seven, he's talking about six feet deep in a seven foot wide coffin.
[01:36:23] Craig Carton Yo
[01:36:24] Little Wayne it's also widely known that that is not what everyone else means when they say that's where it comes that's his thing so they say everyone else turn for it is generally whatever got it it could be good bad whatever they say
[01:36:39] Craig Carton They just like saying it the kids just
[01:36:40] Kevin Connolly It's like saying.
[01:36:41] Little Wayne And also this means
[01:36:43] Kevin Connolly Within 12 hours, I'll be dropping that off.
[01:36:46] Little Wayne Yeah
[01:36:47] Kevin Connolly All right, we got two more real quick, let's go. I know that.
[01:36:51] Craig Carton This is a tough one because it's gonna have to come off the top of your head if you could have dinner with three people dead or alive no family members allowed who would it be that's a tough one I know I could knock that one out I would go Jesus okay he'd be great Muhammad Ali okay Jackie Robinson okay I got be an awesome dinner King Tut Okay, King Tut, you're gonna take King Tut? You know, he was like 9 when he died. He's 12. Okay.
[01:37:24] Little Wayne 12 to 14, yeah, 12 to 40, yeah.
[01:37:27] Kevin Connolly Richer than us guys. Well, I throw Kennedy in there Kennedy Kennedy in there. Okay, find out what happened. Not that he knows how would he? He's like, I don't know what's happening. It was down. I was taking I was waving. I was waving at people. And I don't know maybe Marilyn Monroe. I don't know them together would find out interesting.
[01:37:50] Little Wayne Of this shit. That's cool. What do you got? I got Kobe Bryant. Yeah. I'm gonna go with Seti. That one of the Anunnaki's. Okay. I like that. Seti, it's a biblical thing.
[01:38:09] Kevin Connolly It's his name, Craig.
[01:38:12] Little Wayne City It's tough it is because whoever whoever God would be able to prove if there is a such thing. Okay, is my actual Biggest fan that will never get to see me in person
[01:38:31] Craig Carton Wow, all right, all about the people. He's respectful of his fans, there you go. Matter of fact, when you were away, fans wrote you all the time, and you called them.
[01:38:40] Little Wayne I had over 10,000 pieces of mail a day, so I had to have someone regularly twice a week come and get it because it was a fire hazard in my cell. That was the more that made me do that. Did you read everything? Dude, 10,00 a day. But it was amazing because it was so many, it was literally like a, you know.
[01:39:01] Craig Carton But you did something cool. You'd call random people who wrote you letters, right? Best you could, right. Yeah, you can't reach everyone. I got a few letters. Not 10,000 a day. I've got a couple.
[01:39:11] Kevin Connolly I wrote you one in block red letters. I wrote it in block-red letters.
[01:39:16] Craig Carton We didn't know each other at the time. That's all right. Final one. Would you rather throw or catch The game-winning Super Bowl touchdown That's a tough
[01:39:27] Kevin Connolly I think I gotta be high-stepping into the end zone for the game.
[01:39:30] Craig Carton Yeah, I think you want to score, right? Like, would you like Plaxico, Boris, game-winning touchdown or Eli Manning?
[01:39:36] Kevin Connolly I'd rather throw it. You want to throw it? He wants to get his Doug Flutie on. And I just wanted a whore.
[01:39:41] Little Wayne Quarterback check.
[01:39:42] Craig Carton That's also fair, yeah, that's right.
[01:39:44] Little Wayne I'm sure if I throw that game one and touch down in the soup about negotiation for the next season, there's gonna be something to talk about. But that plaques.
[01:39:53] Kevin Connolly Let's go catchers.
[01:39:54] Craig Carton He is wide open.
[01:39:55] Little Wayne Yeah, but that's why we can also accomplish the same thing and it don't even have to be the Superbowl, Odell.
[01:40:01] Craig Carton That's right, that's right. Are you with the greatest catch in the history of football? Well, Kevin, thanks for having us
[01:40:08] Little Wayne Thank you for coming on. Appreciate it. Thank you guys.
[01:40:12] Craig Carton And we appreciate you watching Joint Venture, Craig Carton, and Little Wayne L. Dove, as I call him. He's got 19 other nicknames, but love it.
[01:40:18] Little Wayne It's a voice of reason on this show.
[01:40:20] Craig Carton He is the absolute voice of reason.
[01:40:22] Little Wayne Shout out to all the boys who reasoned, Tyrone and Jonathan.
[01:40:25] Craig Carton Yes, my main man from Philadelphia, Tyrone Johnson, and you can check us out every single week. And thank you so much for watching and listening.
