Hello, flower friend. This is Jen, and you are listening to the Floral Hustle Podcast. On this week's episode, I want to talk about who do you want to be in 2025? And it's so funny because, like, I just remember years and years ago, like, I was just like, whoa, let's do all these, like, New Year's resolutions that are going to make me into this supposed ideal version of myself.
But I never really thought about what that ideal version of myself actually Would be like, what would feel really good for that ideal version of myself? How does that ideal version of myself like align with who I want to be in 10 years and 5 years? in two years, whatever it is. And so now is of course the time, like we're thinking about next year and we're thinking about like all these big things that we want to do in our lives, in our business.
At least I am, I'm dreaming about next year and parting part of that dreaming about next year is what do I want my business to look like? How do I want my business to feel? And what do I? Like on this year in particular, or this last couple of years, what didn't feel really good about, you know, the, my job, my whatever you, you want to use as a reference point.
And so when I go and think about what I want my business to feel like in this next year, that's part of the person that I'm going to come in 2025. That person who wants things to feel good, who knows that I deserve to have things feel really good. And when that happens, you kind of just do a small tweak from being that somebody who has this job that is just working tirelessly on this job to truly being the CEO in your business.
Because you are making sure that your, your business, not only is it operating in a way that's hopefully efficient and you're making revenue, and those are things that I'd love for you to be thinking through for what do I want 2025 to be, but they're also what, like, when you want things to feel good, you're having a next level strategy.
Most people live in reactivity to what is happening to them. And when you start acting like the CEO in your business, you are no longer living in reactivity. You are the strategist. You are the person who is moving the pieces on your chessboard strategically for wins, financial gains, personal gains, whatever it is.
That is you playing the chessboard in a way That feels good. That feels powerful. That feels like I'm not a victim. I'm in control. And so think about that person who you would love to be in 2025. Is that person somebody who is making 100, 000 or paying yourself 100, 000 and has a 200, 000 business? Or is that person somebody that's doing like 10 weddings, but then has solid weekly accounts?
Maybe you're somebody that doesn't want to do any weddings. Maybe weddings don't feel good for you. Or maybe you need to develop a way that weddings can feel good for you. Or maybe you're crushing daily deliveries and you're like, I need to get out of the game of doing 10 to 15 daily deliveries every day, and I want to transition into having, like, a big wedding, 15 of those in a year.
Like, now is the time to plan. And part of that plan, I know, because I have seen this, the power of goal planning. I've seen this with my mastermind girls. I had one of the girls like write out this detailed plan and she's very, very detail oriented. She loves, you know, really nailing down. And of course, like as a coach, I'm always like, let's go a little deeper on why, why do we want this?
And I would love for you to take this moment and think about that. Like, why do you want a hundred thousand dollars? Why do you want to pay yourself a hundred thousand dollars? Maybe because you want the time freedom, maybe because you want the freedom to get your kids off the bus, digging into that why is going to help you get there so much faster.
But my girl from my mastermind, like she had two goals written down and is already like made connections to make those goals happen. It is crazy the power of writing your goals down. So part of that version that I would love for you to be in 2025 is write that shit down, post it on your, your mirror in your bathroom.
That you're going to make things happen. You're going to do this because that repetition is going to start teaching your brain that you are capable of so much that you are destined for big things, like big things are going to happen. These things that you're writing down. You're going to go get the momentum to make them happen, and things are going to start falling into place.
Like, things are going to start feeling the way that you want them to feel. But you have to put that time and intention behind who you want to be in 2025. Because without that reflection, without that, like, intentional thought. And you know what's funny? I've actually, I, I, this has come out of my mouth.
This garbage has come out of my mouth. I don't have the capacity to even dream. I used to say that to my husband because he pushes me like in ways to think bigger to, he thinks I'm so much, I have so much bigger potential than, than I give myself credit for. He's like, uh, Every time I tell him I want to do something and then I'm telling him, like, what I'm going to charge for one of my workshops, he's like, Jen, you so undervalue.
You took 30 years to learn all this stuff. 30 years and 1, 700 weddings. You ran a sales organization. You had a team of 12 people. I mean, like, he just, like, fires off these things. He's like, you don't see your value. Like, this is probably, this workshop, we have three workshops coming up, they should be thousands of dollars, and I'm just like, I want education to be accessible, so, like, I feel good.
That it costs what it does and like that's also the intention. Like I go into my coaching business with the intention that I want education to be affordable. I want it to be impactful and intimate and that's why my workshops are capped at certain levels. That's why my mastermind is capped at a certain level.
which we actually have two spots available. It has been sold out for almost six months, and we have two girls that have been there for a long time finally transitioning to just explore the world outside. So if you are interested in having a group of ladies that will support, be there. I'm like your flower fairy godmother in your back pocket in Voxer, which is a walkie talkie app that you can tell anything, ask anything in, and it's so affordable.
I mean, I. You have no idea, like, I have spent thousands of dollars on coaching in a month, and this is like 2. 50, 2. 50 a month to have all of this training, access to all these resources, and being with this incredible group, get quarterly planning, goal planning sessions, I mean, it's just, it's amazing, and I, it's what I, I wish I had 10 years ago or even longer and it's just wasn't and now we have other people of course saying that they're launching masterminds like this is a true mastermind we are in it together and you can go to the floral hustle.
com forward slash mastermind for more details sorry I just always get so excited talking about the mastermind because I just I can see with this this This specific person that I was referencing that I have seen the impact this group has, has had on her. I have seen her revenue grow. I have seen her grow.
I have seen her, like, things that I used to call out that I see. And as a certified life coach, like, I, I see business things, but I can see the personal reasons behind what you're doing. So often, like, Sometimes people want to be busy just to be busy. Some people don't feel like they're good enough. Some people don't feel like they have the skills.
Some people don't feel like they have the confidence. Like, I can usually sniff that out pretty fast if there is a core reason why your business isn't where you want. And that is what I would love for you to figure out in 2025. What is holding you back? And go get that support. I know people who are like, they feel like trauma is holding them back.
Figure that shit out. Like I have had so many bad things. I've done episodes where I've talked about this. I've lost both my parents. I've lost three siblings. I lost one sibling to suicide. I have a kid with autism. Her dad was absolutely tormented and was a crazy person. Like, I have had trauma and I am still successful, baby.
Because I am not going to let that affect me. But, if you're like, I don't even know how to do that, go get the help to figure that out. Because if we keep living in what has happened to us, we are not going to live in what is going to happen. We are going to stay stuck. I do not want you stuck. I want big things for you.
I want Like, things to be so next level that you're just like, 2025 couldn't have been better. And so I'm formulating what is going to make 2025 so good for me. Like, what is, it's going to feel good. It's going to, I'm going to feel good. I'm going to be in the best shape that I can be. I'm going to be, my mind is going to be in the best place it possibly could.
Like, all of those things. And you can make those exact same moves. And everybody feels like there's always something standing in your way. Move it out of your way. Whatever it is, move it. Get rid of it. Like, just say, I'm no longer available for it. Whatever you feel, because it's usually one thing. Somebody will be like, there's a reason why I'm not doing something.
Stop. That reason is no longer valid. That is just an excuse or a story you're telling yourself because you want to keep in the safe zone of no change. So, think about what is holding you back from getting your business to the level it's at, that it needs to be. What is holding you back? Like, write, write it down.
Grab a, a notebook. What do you feel is holding you back from your success? Maybe it's something internally that you don't feel good enough for success. Maybe you don't feel like you have enough time. Maybe you feel like you have nothing left because you're running on empty. Maybe you feel like, you know, you don't have the skills to do it.
Whatever it is, it's figureoutable. I know because I've figured it out. I figured out how to be, I was doing a hundred weddings a month or a year and not making any money and working full time because I felt like there was some part of me that was tied, busyness was tied to success for me, even though there wasn't financial success, busyness, being wanted, like that was success to me.
And so I've figured out how to no longer do that. I've redefined what my success. Is, and it sure as shit isn't busyness anymore. And you can do those same things, but you need to step back. You actually need to take time to reflect. This is not something that you're just going to have an epiphany in the middle of your sleep.
You need to sit back. If you want to do a power hour coaching session, we can dive deep into what is holding you back. I know that if there is something holding you back from success, and you don't figure that out, you are going to be here next year. I don't want you to be here next year. I want you to be on to bigger, more badass things that you are completely in love with.
And I know that that's possible. I've seen my coaching clients go through it. I've seen a bunch of my mastermind girls, like just fucking crush it because they invested in themselves. They got the support. They got a lot of the shit out of the way. They got like a lot of these excuses, a lot of these stories out of the way.
And you can too. Like, it is time. It is your time to make things happen. And even if you want, grab a Post it note. I'm a huge fan of Post it notes. I'm writing yourself powerful messages. Who do I want to be in 2025? And then just start writing down the words. I always do a word of the year. And my word for next year, I just, I always order this bracelet called My Intent.
And I order one every year for the last, this will be my fourth year. And this year, my word was Fearless. And I think about what I did this year and I was fearless. I was absolutely fearless. And I think about this year and the word is alignment. I want everything to feel Good. I want everything to feel in alignment with my purpose as a mother, as a business owner, as a wife, like everything gets to feel good this year.
And if it doesn't, it's got to go. It's got to be changed. It's got to be shifted. I got to get resources or help, or I need to, to understand something more to figure it out. And that same thing can happen for you. You are destined for so much more than you are giving yourself credit for. Your business could be so much more.
I want so much more for you. Buckle up. We got a few weeks left. You can make some serious, like, thought into what next year is going to be like, because that's where the magic is. If you need to be like, sweetheart, I need to go to a coffee shop and I need to do, I, I think to run a successful business, you need to have a CEO day, at least quarterly, have a CEO day to dig in, but have a personal CEO.
You are the personal CEO of yourself. So have that day to go dig in, like what's working, what's not working, what's sort of working. Like analyze that because that's where you're going to figure out something doesn't feel good. I want it to be different. I really want this in my business and then start making it happen.
Start making a plan. If you're like, I have no idea how I'm going to make these goals work. Ask someone, ask me, let's have a power hour session. Ask your spouse. These are things that I really would like to do. Do you have any ideas on how I could make that happen? Like, I'll ask my husband that. I really want to work out more.
Do you have an idea on how I could make that happen? Because when you ask powerful questions like that too, they feel like they're, you know the answer already normally, but they feel like they're part of the solution. And I do that with my kids too. I want them to feel like they're part of the solution.
I want them to feel like they have input. That they have impact. And you deserve to have alignment in 2025. Pick a word of the year. I'd love to hear. And send, send me your word on Instagram at thefloralhustle. com Or at the Floral Hustle because I would love to hear what's like driving you. What's driving you and winding you up for next year.
Because once you create the intention behind something, you're going to have natural momentum. And I want that momentum to give you the money, the love, the peace, the everything that you want in 2025. Thank you so much for listening, flower friend, and you have an amazing flower filled week.
