The Estherpreneur Podcast is for faith-driven founders and Kingdom leaders who know they are called to build but refuse to do it disconnected from God.
Hosted by Edna Harding, Christ-Centered Business Architect and CEO of Favor & Wealth, this podcast is where biblical wisdom meets business strategy, leadership, wealth, identity, and spiritual alignment.
Here, we talk about what it really takes to build what God assigned to your hands: obedience, clarity, sales, stewardship, emotional maturity, spiritual warfare, and the courage to come out of striving.
Each episode will help you discern what is misaligned, strengthen who you are becoming, and build with excellence, favor, and wisdom.
Because you are not just growing a business.
You are stewarding an assignment.
And the leader God is forming in you matters just as much as what He is building through you.

Edna Harding [00:00:46]:
Well, hello everyone. Thank you for tuning in for another episode of the Estrepreneur Podcast. My name is Edna Harding, and I am nothing but a messenger of hope, life, and truth. I'm here recording live live in Huntsville, Alabama. Welcome, welcome, welcome to those of you guys who are tuning in from all over the world. So excited that you're joining me here this week. All right, so today's episode, we're gonna talk about God's timing, but God's timing in a different perspective. Instead of focusing on God's timing, we're actually going to focus on God's waiting.
Edna Harding [00:01:27]:
Okay, God is waiting not his timing, okay? He's actually waiting on your agreement, okay? It's not God's timing. He's waiting for you. And you hear this all the time, but I want to make it plain because how many times have you heard that phrase where it says, where it says, you know, not— you're not waiting on God, God's waiting on you? Well, what does that mean? Okay, so, um, there's a belief that many mature believers hold on to that actually quietly delays their lives, and that is God will move when he's ready. But in scripture, it reveals something more relational, and that is God is already ready, okay? He's waiting on us. He's waiting on agreement. He's waiting not on prayer, not more fasting, not more confirmation, but agreement. And I know it sounds so simple, but just, just, just Just humor me today. Timing in the kingdom is not passive.
Edna Harding [00:02:35]:
So God doesn't operate like a clock, okay? He operates like a covenant partner. In fact, in Amos 3:3, it says, "Can two walk together unless they are agreed?" So God doesn't drag people into destiny. In fact, he waits until their will aligns with his, which means some delays are not about preparation. Yeah, I just ripped off the Band-Aid, okay? Delays are not about, oh, he's preparing me. No, sometimes it's about permission, okay? So let's talk about the pattern scripture reveals. So Israel itself didn't miss the promise. They withheld agreement. So if you look, God said, go in.
Edna Harding [00:03:16]:
They said, we can't. The land didn't move. God didn't move, but the people circled. Okay, so God already said you could go in, but then the Israelites said, no, we can't. So delay wasn't imposed, it was chosen. And how do you choose it? If you agree with it, if you agree with the lie that you're believing, because agreement is what activates movement. In fact, Jesus himself couldn't move without agreement. You know, this one unsettles people.
Edna Harding [00:03:48]:
In fact, Matthew 13:58 says that, and he did not do many mighty works there because of their unbelief. So here we have Jesus had power, he had the authority, he had the timing, but what he didn't have was agreement. So what happened? He restrained himself. So here's the hidden cause of delay, and this is what no one names ever. God would not override the will he gave you, even to fulfill the promise he promised you. That's why your indecision is delaying doors, your fear is delaying provision, and your comfort is delaying your calling. And when you're only obeying when it's convenient and not when it costs you something, it actually delays momentum. So remember, God is not slow, but he's actually honoring your agency.
Edna Harding [00:04:48]:
How— like, whatever energy you put out He partners with that. So if you are agreeing with doubt, he's going to make sure that it doesn't come to pass because you're agreeing with a lie instead of God's word, which is so important, which is why it's so important. We have to judge him faithful and we have to believe God. Now let's see how this shows up in business and leadership. And I do have to rush because I got to pick up the girls as usual. Okay, so delay often sounds like I'm still discerning, you know, I need more clarity. Okay, so for example, I'm still thinking about it. Okay, but you already know, or you need more clarity, but you do know, you have clarity, you're just avoiding the cost.
Edna Harding [00:05:35]:
Okay, so for example, for me, I didn't want to let go of the other person, but I— because I felt bad, I wanted her, you know, I believe in people. And God's like, no, this person is not— it's gonna make you you're going to promise something to your client that you can't deliver. And so I had to get rid of her and have to find a new one. Okay, so I didn't need more clarity. I knew what to do, but I didn't want to do it. Okay, it's also, I'm waiting on God, but God is waiting on your yes to yes to whatever he says he wants you to do. So if he wants you to pivot, then pivot, because clarity doesn't come before agreement. Agreement produces clarity.
Edna Harding [00:06:16]:
So when you agree with God, then you have clear steps on what you need to do next. Okay, so let's talk about how this pattern shows up in scripture repeatedly. So when Moses said yes, the Red Sea moved. When Peter stepped, the water held. When Esther spoke, the decree shifted. So what did you see? Movement— what happened? Followed agreement, not the other way around. So I want you guys to ask yourself these questions. What have I already been shown but have not agreed with, right? Where have I substituted prayer for decision? What costs am I quietly resisting? And if God moved today, would my structure sustain it? These particular questions and delay.
Edna Harding [00:07:16]:
Okay, because God— we're thinking we need, we need more. I don't know, we just need to take action with what we have. Okay, um, so you don't need another course, you don't need another coach, you don't need another book, you don't need another program, you don't need another confirmation. Just do it. Stop praying and fasting and sowing. Just make a decision, right? If you're believing for an answer and then you're not ready when the answer comes, is that really— is that stewarding your time well? And the price to pay, the cost, if it means giving up your friends, if it means giving up your sleep for a little while, if it means giving up your savings account to go all in for God, are you willing to do it? These are important questions. If you could answer yes to these and be honest and do what God says, you're going to see delay end. Because when agreement happens, when you agree with what God says, with God's instructions and God's wisdom, the time will accelerate.
Edna Harding [00:08:44]:
And it's not because God changed, but because finally you're agreeing with God and the partnership was restored because you're in sync with what he's doing in the spirit. Alright, my friends, I know this was a short one, but I hope this blessed you and I hope this encouraged you, and I'll speak to you guys next time. Take care. Bye-bye.
